I think it's been fully translated into English.
I think it's been fully translated into English.
It was this year, yeah.

Redline is currently about to start the equivalent of chapter 4.
Oh shit I had no idea, thanks.
Man, now I don't know if I want to read it or not. I guess I'll just read up to where we are and then decide.
Thanks BananaShiki.
So not!Caren's name is Lanlan Fan, and she uses Fulu(?) Magecraft. She stole Third Reich's resources, huh.
Wasn't Caren working for the church in Koha Ace? This is be the biggest departure in Master roles I think, but she seems like an interesting character.
Well if what the gangsters said is to be taken at face value, she'll do anything to make a quick buck, so she could be a mercenary magus hired by the Church. It would make sense if they're trying to distance themselves by going through third parties and intermediaries to not just get one of their own into the field.
EDIT: It also brought up something I hadn't thought of before, Li Shuwen has only been dead like 11 years at this point in time. It's entirely possible for him to meet people that not just know of him, but met him personally in life and marks probably the shortest gap between a hero's summoning and the era in which they lived outside of GO.
Yeah, what the Church is presumably doing with Lanfang is the exact same thing we know they did with Tsukumo.
Also, I think the shortest life to summon gap still falls on Archer. Everyone he knew was still there when he was summoned.
I said probably just cause we can't pin down Archer's exact age. With Li Shuwen, we know he died in '34 and that this is set in '45, whereas with Archer while the war was 2004, we're not given a set frame for when he himself died, so while I've no doubt it could be a smaller gap, it could just as easily be longer.
I assumed Archer was in his 30s too.
But yeah Voyager would be the shortest death-to-summon timeframe, Requiem is set in the same year Voyager is expected to shut down.
I had always assumed that Archer was around the same age as Saber (chronologically not physically) when she died to really drive home those dramatic parallels.
"Here's a bangin lil' tune about takin' on The Man!"

I miss hearing Li's KA KA
I really like his voice
Pretty sure it's just planned to run out of power in 2025, yeah.
To be fair, 48 years is a pretty good lifetime for a battery. Nuclear or not.
But yeah, they've already turned off a lot of functions to save power and squeeze out just a tiny bit more operating lifespan. They turned off the ultraviolet spectrometer in 1998!
From what I'm seeing around online, volume 3's bonus pages gave Kaname's full name.
浅間かなめ. Asama Kaname.
Presumably named after the armored cruiser.
