"Slashy slashy stab stab" isn't really an extensive skillset.

It’s something different at least. She’s fragile, has mostly poor stats and has to rely onn her skill and agilty. Most sabers are very similar, they have good stats and shoot a beam, at best they also have some kind of defenisve ability or a stat enhancement: Siegfied, Atoria, Gawain, Arthur, Mordred, Altera…

Nero is different because she relies on her imperial privilige and NP, Richard is something in between because of his speed and rounds of Lionheart.

Sigurd has runes, glasses and punching daggers/Gram, Rama has Indian GoB and Skill(TM), Lanling has a song, D'Eon sword dances, Lakshmi has a barrier, Caesar has continuous swings with LCK checks, Jason has the Argonauts, Diarmuid has his dual blades, Dioscuri have their combo moveset and so on. Like the main similarities are between beamswords or Sword Saints, and they don't exactly outnumber the rest. There's variety in different forms, and Okita's just part of a similar subset of Sabers.

I was gonna say.This is a comparison beetween Saber-class MC servants in non-FGO stories. People praise Okita because she's different to the main Sabers seen in Zero, SN, Apocrypha. She's also different when compared to Nero and Charlie, main Sabers of Extraverse
