Irisviel: It was a fight where they each had powerful backups they could use. Kiritsugu had Time Alter magic and Saber's Noble Phantasm. Time Alter magic allowed him to speed up his internal flow of time, at the cost of damaging his body. Saber's Noble Phantasm healed this damage as well as the lethal injury he sustained, rescuing him from the brink of death. Put simply, he moved at high speeds and was incredibly tough. As for the fiendish priest, he's highly skilled in Chinese kempo and had the Command Spells he inherited from Father Risei. Command Spells are consumable "Special Enchantments", so he could explosively strengthen his muscle power by using one. It basically works just like Saber's Magical Energy Release. They both made full use of their skills, experience, and secret tricks in a superhuman battle.
Taiga: Could either of them at that time have beaten a Servant?
Irisviel: Let's see... They could, depending on their methods. They have a very good chance against an Assassin whose presence is revealed or a Caster in close combat. However, against Servants specializing in hand-to-hand combat, they'd need another condition in their favor.
Taiga: Another condition... Like suitability or the element of surprise, right? We see pride only too often in "Fate"!
