Honestly, the only thing I enjoyed about the first chapter is the artwork. It looks really nice. But the story itself is too silly to be taken seriously. Even getting hit by truck-kun makes more sense than finding a magical time machine hourglass in your grandma's attic, dropping it, and activating it by accident using your awfully convinient za warudo powers.
Is it actually canon? I remember reading something about Redline being its own thing, similar to the original Koha-ACE story.
I really don't see how the circumstances are any stranger than any of the other shenanigans in fate tbh. Also its basically meant to be a serious take on Koha-ACE

Okita being summoned by the LN seems more like the implied time loop thing going on enforcing it or the reason why it’s a catalyst idk

I wonder if they are going to remove master Artoria of this story or take the opportunity and make her a serious character, maybe something like the MC of Baikoku Kikan manga of the same author of Youjo Senki?
Remove, of course. Kohaku and Akiha had a lot less reason to be taken out of the story and look at how they turned out.
The official explanation was always that the Masters were just being played by actors from the TM star system rather than that they were actually supposed to be Kohaku et al so it makes sense that they're replacing them in this (although fuck you give me Kohaku anyway)

Well, no advancement on the Okita vs Nobu fight, but at least we got Tsukumo Fujimiya's backstory.
Three noble families started the Grail War in Teito 2 years ago and everything looked normal until suddenly all Servants died and the Grail disappeared for no explainable reason. Now, 2 years later, a new Grail War starts, but the Mage's Association is not really expecting it to work out this time, so they went "eh, we can let the crappier mages have this one". Which is the Fujimiyas, a mage family currently going downhill, was invited. Tsukumo accepts it under 2 conditions: a catalyst for King Arthur and the rights to use the Grail if she wins. The priest asks her what her wish is and she answers a brighter future for the world.
