Interesting about how Shirou would've looked on Ernest as a model mage for awhile. Also, interesting about how he was from the US. Makes me wonder if Nasu's ideas there were different from what we got via Narita?
As for Tachi, her switching between Galahad and her own personality sounded neat.

I mean the image of Archer using Sanren to break a high-thaumaturgical defense is hilarious

Machines do not lose their worth when a newer model appears.
Their worth (life) ends when humans can no longer bear that purity.
Any progress translating the different abilities of Tachie and Mashu?
Do you think this anime original story would've been received better in general?
The fandom would have been angered for dare to make an original story a lot more derived of that the actual thing we get.
It's more of a I'm hindsight thing really, people would have complained about the differences then several years later people would start supporting the good points then when UBW came out people would complain again.
Basically nothing would change except there would probably be a better story out of it
Yeah, but the actual Fate Visual Novel fandom was a lot smaller back then. If the end product had been handled better than we actually got from DEEN then Fate might actually have gotten an earlier mainstream push. If it had received the same production values then Shielder would be a joke among the Fate fandom today and Grand Order would've resorted to a different main waifu Servant.
And until relatively recently, perhaps thankfully in retrospect, Type-Moon didn't give a shit about the Western fandom.

Is there any place that actually sells this booklet?
Has someone translated more of this book? I noticed the Wikia article regarding Around Round Shield got edited.
