She's a girl who died in the Fuyuki Fire resurrected by a Holy Grail War participating Necromancer who is using her as a vessel for the Servant Galahad to conserve mana. She has a personal grudge against Shirou for being a survivor and the fact that he abandoned her when she was calling for help in the fire after a building crumbled upon her. Or at least that's how she saw. Much more violent. Kills people to survive and get revenge on Shirou but somehow knows that there is something wrong with her desire for vengeance. Ultimately she realizes why Shirou survived, and that she was already dead. Let's go of her hatred and saves him. And perishes.

i think both mashu designs are great
looks like they use some parts of the scrapped idea for fgo, even more evidence that nasu should have used Shirou and Rin instead the self inserts for fgoa vessel for the Servant Galahad

I can't not imagine Boomer Shirou and Boomer Rin, if the game kept to the usual timeline.
Not that they couldn't change birthdates around, like in Prisma.

I should clarify that while I do like both designs, if you held me at gunpoint and asked me for my preference I'd always say, with no uncertainty, F/GO Shielder's.
Come to think of it, Space Ishtar's edgy bodysuit design is pretty close to Edge-Matt's, in terms of color scheme and similarity in design. Not 100%, but it comes to mind more strongly that Scathach's design.

One red eye and one blue reminds me of episode 0 of Babylonia when Mash fights back for control of her body from Galahad. Probably a coincidence though.

tbh I think I like this "older" design better, but gonna reserve final judgement until I see her weapon.
I'd say that Proto-Mash has the better design whilst FGO Mash has the better "Shielder" form.
I would've been very curious to see how Saber in FSN would've reacted to Shielder being Galahad and how it would've impacted her character arc.
