I'm currently listening to modern renditions of the Lyke Wake Dirge; one by The Insects (which was used as the opening for the BBC series "The Living and the Dead"), one by Pentangle, and another by Alasdair Roberts. I'm not sure which version I like best.
O walls, you have held up so much tedious graffiti that I am amazed you have not already collapsed in ruin.

i finally gave this band a listen yesterday after dismissing them for years as some try hard satanic metal band with annoying shrieks for vocals. ive never been more wrong in my life, this is quite literally one of the best bands ive ever listened to.
although lyrically, they're still pretty damn satanic but it feels very well written and executed.
