So we've gone through a few unremarkable events, and are now at the Rainbow 6 crossover - and in these half-dozen or so story scenes, we've learned as much - or more - about the world than we did in the previous 8 chapters and 100+ cutscenes combined. Although story-wise, this event is far from ToW, it's still shaping up to be one of my favorites just because of how well it does the world building.
Plus, I'm not an R6 player, so I had to look it up, but now I've fallen into the pit of Lord Tachanka memes.
On the other hand, OD-8 is literally cancer.

While I do think the crossover is cool, I'm just gonna skip it. Daddy needs his Skalter.
They've actually managed to integrate the crossover into a rather interesting tale that indeed led to lots more world building/info coming out of it too.

What, you don't like the guy that tosses off a half-dozen AOE-2 permanent effects that cause an 70% slow and allows him to insta-kill anyone in it, even through invincibility effects?

I know, but for some reason this feels way worse.
With Cancer I said fuck it and used a Support Surtr, but now I really need to grind Star Thingies so there's no bitching out this time.
Ok I did it, but I can already see that Auto-Deeploy is gonna be a clusterfuck.
Just managed to get a decent & stable Auto deploy for WD-8 myself. No Trust farming units though.
I know some nice banners are coming but I still got to try & get myself my own Rock Abs Mudrock...
...still failing though so I'm sad again.
Oh, no freaking kidding. My first auto-deploy failed horribly about 1 in 3 times, because there was a really close timing over which of two units did the damage that triggered the cloud. When it was Goat-kohai like it was supposed to be, things went fine. But occasionally, he'd target Toddi who was sitting back next to all my blockers. If that happened, he'd instakill everyone and then even though he died, the rest of the enemies just waltzed on through.
Also, is it my imagination, or is Toddifons just... not very good? Maybe not Passenger bad, but still pretty ineffective.
I can't really comment since I skipped this banner entirely, but from what I gather Toddi's entire shtick is committing hate crimes against Sarkaz and beyond that she's nothing special. Jokes aside Toddi's Talent makes her good if you're fighting Sarkaz enemies (which I believe the enemies in this event aren't, of course), but here's the thing: she's a Heavyweight Sniper who targets heavy enemies first. Unlike Rosa, however, she doesn't actually have anything to get through their armor other than the 20-30% DEF reduction on her S1.
So I must imagine that she's just kind of...meh?
yeah. seems too niche. Even against sarkaz, there are better boss killer
