Only rolled mainly to get myself a Blue Poison...I failed. Only notable ones I got was Beehunter & Glaucus & I somehow maxed out my Myrtle & Matoimaru.

Having fun w/ the story but I had to charge my phone for now. Not yet totally clear on the whole farming procedure though.

FINALLY got enough of those stupid D32 Steel items to get Ch'en's second skill to Mastery 3. She should be done in like... 15 hours, I think?

It's a shame that she needed it for her skill AND Schwarz needed it to E2. Unfortunately, Blaze ALSO needs it to E2. Will have to see how much LMD and D32 Steels I can get by the time Blaze/CC comes out.

That 6th challenge stage was asinine. Took me probably a good 20-30 tries to beat it. Those little ghost guys that just run right by you, but with really high defense, suck.

I don't believe so. I tried pushing via FEater in the normal stages a week or so ago and they almost looked like they just smashed against a wall and then kept moving.

Oh, why didn't I ever read this thread before? I love Tower Defense games, and about two weeks ago I randomly opened this thread... and now I'm spending money on the F2P game! I feel so dirty, but enjoying it, too.
That said, my timing was so not-quite-terrible. I started 6 days before the current Event, so I was way underleveled. I'm still not quite good enough to beat OF-8, so I need to level more, but grinding for levels and money takes time away from the event. Choices, choices... There's no way in heck I'm going to be able to also beat the extra challenge levels, though, and it is triggering my completionism pretty badly.

But I think I'll be able to get the Obsidian and 5 Loot boxes done. Even if the second loot box took all 150 pulls to get the frickin' guitar... Are the rewards for the extra levels anything notable?

It can be done if you have time and sanity. After completing 5 box, I think you can farm to level up your OP to take down EX stages

Welp, a big no on that plan.
When I started the event, I had 4 or 5 E1-lvl 10s. With a full crew at E1-10 or 15, I could do everything but OF-8. I took your advice, and spent a few days grinding levels. I was able to beat OF-8 at E1-30 or so. I didn't 3 star it, though, because despite my plan working fine in Practice mode multiple times, something went wrong in reality and Pompeii shredded me, rather than the reverse. But oh, well; it still unlocked the EX missions. Couldn't do OF-F4, of course, since it's a harder version of OF-8.

But while EX-1 and EX-2 are only E1-30 and and E1-40, EX-3 is E1-70, and EX-4 is E2-1. I don't have any E2s, and the only one that's close is my Mato. She's not going to carry me (I tried) and I just get shredded. Not even close.

So I think my plan at this point is to level a bit more and try to 3-star OF-8 and OF-F4. I simply don't see there's any way to get enough money and EXP to grind my crew to E2 or even just E1-60. I might E2 Mato just to see if my friend-supports are actually E2s that have been scaled down, and there's actually a SilverAsh or Ifrit or someone that can carry the rest of the team... but I doubt I'll be that lucky.

Which is too bad; I was enjoying getting to see the penguin rapster kicking assassin ass, and was looking forward to more.

Aaahh summer (spring) event come to an end. Manage to get 4000 obsidian and some rolls on box 6th. Only manage to beat EX5 though. Not in the mood to beat the EX 6
