They definitely are. I know I got Nightingale from the Siege/Nightingale banner when aiming for Siege way back, and remember thinking "well, at least now I won't be tempted to cert buy her." Unless you mean the one for rolling >50 times, but even that's a yes. I've gotten off-banner and rate-up units from pity.

From what I hear, yes, but I'm not positive. I've only looked at videos for general team comp ideas and map layout.

CN has only had 2 limited banners. Nian and W. The non-standard banners are not limited. Standard just means it updates the yellow cert shop.

Is Mostima actually a good unit? She looks cool, and I like the Penguins, but since I have Eyja, Skyfire, and Ifrit, I just don't feel like I need another AOE Caster. Even if magic schwing schwing looks so cool in the videos...

Casters in general are kind of niche at the moment. She can definitely be used in a ranged team, and from what I recall some combination of her, Angelina, Ifrit, Ejya, and Mostima are considered the "core" of the Caster comp (with Mostima only being necessary for certain maps that have enemies appear and move too quickly to otherwise deploy quickly).

I can't do Challenge Mode for CB EX 7 & 8.

Took me a while to beat normal CB EX 7, but I ended up with a strategy that works exactly the same in challenge mode. If you have an E2 Nightingale, you can use her cages to bait the boss attacks, and although I did not use Durin, she is a good bait also thanks to her talent and having low HP.


For CB EX 8, Liskarm + Lappland destroyed almost everything so I could focus on the Ergates. Any combinations using Liskarm + Damage Dealer, like Ch´en for example, makes the stage way easier because of the Elite Brawel, they hit very fast and Liskarm can generate a lot of SP for other operatos. Dur Nar its another operator that shines in this stage for similar reasons, she will deal a great amount of arts damage and you will have more breathing room to wait until you can use the command terminals.

I've done challenge modes for 1, 2, 3, and 8 so far. Didn't have time to go past 3 yesterday, and only did 8 today because I have a pounding headache.

Liskarm + Ch'en nuked the hell out of 8's challenge for me.

Oh yeah, tried Liskarm + Chen for CM, works nicely. Though refreshing the support until a Chen with Unseathed appears is a challenge of its own. Ended up spending all of my Practice Tickets to get the timing right.

Now CM7, I don't level Durin and have no Arts Guard, this will be hard...

Finally manage to beat CB-EX all normal mode

I managed to finish off all the challenge modes today. 7 was definitely the overall most difficult, with 8 being worse if you don't Liskarm cheese.

Though had to raise a few units here and there, so while my material stock isn't hit too bad, my LMD is basically screwed. Need to get basically another 500k before Blaze comes out if I want to insta-E2 her. But I also need to grind for skill level mats for her.

Just finished up to CB-EX7 (thank you guides) & will try the rest tomorrow.

Finally E2'd Magallan (+M2 3rd skill) & Platinum (M3'd Pegasian Sight! Yay~) making them my 1st E2'd 6 & 5 stars. Feels nice.

But again, its just not fun being broke in LMD & mats.

EX8 CM required more precise timing from me than any other stage in the game. And my strat wouldn't have benefitted from Liskarm anyway.

EX7 was a funny excercise in solving the positioning puzzle, but not all that difficult to me. Had more trouble with clearing some normal stages with gimmicks.

I still maintain that my dream unit right now would be a Specialist with 1 or 0 natural block, but with a trait/ability that says they can block up to 3 Wraiths at once. I hate those bastards and their "I'll just ignore you" nonsense.
