Ah, that makes sense. I kinda' wondered if it was something along those lines, but thanks for clarifying. The term seems kind of needlessly gendered though IMO. There's plenty of entitled, nosy and belligerent men too, so I'm not sure if there really needs to be a unique word for the female variant. But whatever.

Well, there is more to it that what I put down, but that's basically the gist of it.

"Yo, Servant Berserker here, *hic* gimme some nice booze first, then we can get this party started!"

    Source

    Class: Berserker
    Other Classes: Lancer, Caster

    True Name: Hippocleides
    Alignment: Chaotic Drunk
    Place of Origin: Greece

    Parameters:

    STR: B
    END: EX (C)
    AGI: C+
    MGI: B+
    LCK: D
    NP: C+

    Likes: Alcohol. freedom, festivities
    Dislikes: Himself, cheap wine
    Talent: Pankration, dancing, chronic alcoholism
    Natural Enemy: Carrie A. Nation
    Armament: Fists, thyrsus (staff)
    Catalyst: Fragments of Dionysus' staff
    Class Skills
    Madness Enhancement
    Rank: EX

The class skill characterizing a Berserker, raising basic parameters and strengthens one's physical abilities in exchange of hindering mental capacities and/or in exchange for their sense of reason. In Berserker's case, as "intoxication" happened to be a core aspect of his life, he appears to be in a constant cycle alternating between drunken stupor and hangover. This effect is further amplified due to Dionysus' influence over him. No amount of medicine or abstaining from alcohol could cure his drunkenness, and even command spells could only suppress it for a few minutes. Overall, while communication and mutual understanding is possible to some extent, Berserker's drunken state may impair his judgment and cause him to engage in various high-risk and self-destructive behaviors.

    Divinity
    Rank: C-

A measure of whether one has divine spirit aptitude or not. Berserker's body serves as a vessel for Dionysus. Thus, he should normally possess high rank Divinity. Yet under this specific class container, his divinity is reduced due to Berserker himself being the one largely in control, not knowing how to utilize the benefits that come with this skill, while Dionysus remains dormant. His divinity would rank higher if he were summoned as a Lancer or Caster, as Dionysus would be the dominant personality.

    Personal Skills
    Migraine
    Rank: C

Berserker suffers from constant migraines due to his drunken nature. The success rate of mental skills decrease considerably, at the cost of occasionally impairing his judgment and cognitive skills even further.

    Pankration (Drunk)
    Rank: A

Berserker's primary fighting method. Originally a proud warrior talented in the Greek martial art of Pankration, Berserker's drunkenness has altered this skill, giving birth to an entirely new style of martial art not unlike the Chinese drunken boxing. In essence, this is a versatile and highly unpredictable fighting style befitting of Berserker's nature... or so he claims.

    Blessing of Dionysus
    Rank: A

Blessing received from the Greek deity of wine, Dionysus. A little-known figure with an unimpressive feat, Berserker would not normally qualify as a Servant. He is only summonable due to being a vessel for Dionysus, in a situation similar to that of a pseudo-Servant. While Dionysus would normally assume full control of his body under his other classes, he seems content to letting Berserker remain as the dominant personality in this case, with a ratio of around 80-20. It's hard to determine for sure the reasoning behind the deity's decision. Is it the whims of a powerful deity, the desperate wish of a powerless man... or something else entirely?

This skill greatly increases Berserker's mana generation rate, increasing his strength and agility the more alcohol he consumes. This also grants him immunity to alcohol, and by extension, poison. While he may display symptoms of intoxication, it is impossible for him to truly be harmed by almost every kind of poison imaginable. A powerful blessing all-around, yet for Berserker, who deep down wishes to be remembered for something else other than his drunken episode... Perhaps this is both a blessing and a curse.

    Noble Phantasm(s)
    μεθυσμένος συμπόσιο
    Sing, Dance, and Be Merry

    Type: Anti-Army
    Rank: C+
    Range: 1-500
    Max Targets: 500

Methysménos Sympósio, Berserker's default Noble Phantasm based off his particular drunken episode, further strengthened by Dionysus' authority. Upon its activation, Berserker would essentially turn into a walking cloud of highly intoxicating alcohol, his body emitting brightly colored gas enough to envelop a small city, throwing it into chaos. While the gas itself is not lethal, it carries the idea possessed by both Berserker and Dionysus, namely "removing inhibitions". Those who inhale the gas would find it much harder to control their basic impulses, making them prone to mistakes, accidents, and self-sabotaging behaviors.

As the ancient cult of Dionysus was also feared by local rulers due to disrupting the order they had established, this Noble Phantasm also possesses special properties against kings, or those in positions of power. The more power one possesses, the easier it would be for them to succumb to the effects of the intoxicating gas. Here, the definition of "power" is quite broad, ranging from physical prowess to positions within a kingdom or organization.

Berserker is capable of maintaining this Noble Phantasm for about an hour before needing to recharge his mana. After its effects are lifted. those affected would enter a "hangover" period, disorienting them for roughly another hour. Those who possess certain recovery and/or mental fortification skills may recover sooner, or even instantly.

    ανάσταση του διόνυσου
    Resurrection of Dionysus

    Type: Anti-Unit (Self)
    Rank: EX
    Range: 1
    Max Targets: 1

Anástasi tou Diónysou, a Noble Phantasm belonging not to Berserker himself, but to Dionysus. Thus, it is only usable when Dionysus is in control of Berserker's body.

According to the Orphic version of Dionysus' legend, which puts more emphasis on the concept of death and rebirth, Dionysus was born as a son of either Zeus and Persephone, or Hades and Persephone. From a young age, he was foretold to be the successor of Zeus. Out of jealousy, Hera threw him to the Titans who devoured him, only leaving his heart intact. Zeus was horrified when he came across his heart. He then took his heart and planted it inside a mortal woman named Semele, who gave birth to Dionysus, allowing him to be reborn.

A Noble Phantasm that activates automatically upon Berserker's death, this is a one-time resurrection spell. As long as there is a single organ belonging to Berserker remaining after his death, no matter how small, that organ would act as a catalyst that would automatically resummon Berserker back into the world. When summoned using this particular catalyst, the newly-resummoned Berserker would retain all his memories, in a body that is essentially good as new.

Aside from being usable only once, the only other limitation to this Noble Phantasm stems from the fact that Berserker himself does not know how to activate it. Dionysus must be in control of Berserker's body at the moment of his death for this Noble Phantasm to trigger. While the deity could occasionally take over, he generally seems reluctant to do so outside of the most dire of situations.

    Description
Berserker's True Name is Hippocleides, an Athenian Nobleman and archon (public officer), although he is also a pseudo-Servant of sorts with Dionysus, god of wine, grape-harvest, madness, and theatre.

A hopeless romantic with an emphasis on "hopeless", Berserker's personality can be best described as "that of a failed suitor who decided to get himself completely wasted to wallow in self-pity during his love interest's wedding with another man". Berserker's demeanor varies wildly depending on his surroundings. In public, he appears as a complete party animal, rowdy and outgoing. When alone, he drowns in his regrets and self-loathing, constantly thinking of what-could-have-been's.

Despite being a vessel of Dionysus, Berserker possesses mixed feelings towards the deity. On one hand, he can only be summoned during the one period of his life that he loathes above all else. Yet on the other hand, he acknowledges that Dionysus had given him a second chance, a chance to undo his mistake and attain his wish. Due to these feelings, the two may occasionally have some internal conflict, yet they always seem to be able to resolve it due to their similar personalities.

To Berserker, his Master is "someone he can confide in". Thus he would not hesitate to go into long, passionate rants regarding his life to the Master, oftentimes disregarding social cues and personal space.

Being the drunkard that he is, if one were to ask Berserker regarding his wish to the Grail, he would undoubtedly wish to be reunited with his love interest, Agariste. He is also prone to making impulsive, situational wishes depending on whatever had caught his interest. Berserker's true wish could only be discerned during his occassional moments of lucidity. Deep down, he had moved on from Agariste, accepting his loss to the warrior Megacles as well as his mistake during that fateful banquet. Thus, Berserker's true wish is to have a second chance at life, one where hopefully he may be remembered as more than a raving drunk. Of course, he is aware of the hypocrisy of his situation, sometimes questioning whether Dionysus had truly given him another chance, or if this is just a sick joke from the deity. Yet ultimately, for the sake of his wish, he would not hesitate to embrace that hypocrisy. For the sake of becoming more than a drunk... he would down as many bottles of wine as it takes.

    Lore
Hippocleides was an Athenian nobleman who served as Eponymous Archon (high-ranking public official) for the year 566 BC - 565 BC. During his rule, he set up the statue of Athena in Athens, and oversaw the reorganization of the Panatheia festival, a local event incorporating religious festivals, ceremonies, athletic competitions, and cultural fairs held within a stadium.

..Yet ultimately, that was not what Hippocleides was known for.

As a young man, Hippocleides competed for the hand of Agariste, daughter of Cleisthenes, the tyrant of Sicyon. Cleisthenes held a various competitions for the suitors, ranging from wrestling, chariot-racing, archery, and more. Hippocleides skillfully completed these tasks, and by the end of the competitions, only Hippocleides and a fellow suitor named Megacles remained. To congratulate both suitors for their skills, Cleisthenes invited the two to a lavish banquet at his residence.

It was here that according to Herodotus, Hippocleides managed to get himself completely black-out drunk and began acting like an idiot. At some point, he did a hand stand and kicked his legs in the air, in rhythm with the flute music. Cleisthenes, unimpressed by the young man's unorthodox dancing skills, informed that he had "danced away his wife", deciding to marry off Agariste to Megacles. Still drunk, Hippocleides only responded with "οὐ φροντὶς Ἱπποκλείδῃ", ("Hippocleides doesn't care") and kept dancing. Cleisthenes proceded to get his guards to "escort him outside of the premises". When Hippocleides returned to his senses, he severely regretted his actions, yet what's done is done; he watched as his love interest was married off to his rival, presumably while downing a few more bottles of wine.

As a footnote, according to Herodotus, "Hippocleides doesn't care" became a common expression in ancient Greece for centuries to come, meaning a particularly harsh version of "I don't care", or perhaps in a modern context, "I don't give a shit". This is arguably what made him the most famous.

    Creator's Notes
I was originally looking for ideas for Servants related to love or Valentine's day when I came across this guy, and I feel like I just had to make a semi-joke sheet for him. Guess it kinda came out a bit more tragic than I expected?

Hippocleides: I remember reading about the dancing legend a while ago and finding it really funny. Never expected to see him written up as a Servant, so this was a pleasant surprise. You did a good job of fleshing him out beyond just a "joke-character". As regrets over lost love are a big part of his personality, did you think of entering him into the current contest?

    Parameters:
    Strength: C
    Endurance: A
    Agility: A
    Mana: C
    Luck: D+
    Noble Phantasm: A++

    Biography:
It is said when Siddhartha Gautama was born in the Shakya kingdom, his father King Śuddhodana consulted eight ascetics to divine his future. Seven of the prophets confirmed Prince Siddhartha would grow up to either be a great king or a spiritual leader, but the eighth, Asita, was absolutely sure that he would grow up to be a supreme spiritual leader should he contemplate human suffering. Not wanting his son and heir to renounce the world and the throne, the king surrounded Gautama in a cage of leisure and vice, intending to completely insulate the prince from even being aware of human suffering. Whatever Gautama wished for was his and he was given only the best of the best.

Among the many luxuries given to Gautama was a beautiful white horse named Kanthaka, the finest in the kingdom. While he had other horses, Kanthaka was his favorite and no others would compare, and be used her in all of the defining moments of his prince hood. For example, in order to wed the princess Yasodhara, Gautama had to prove himself as a warrior by defeating her other royal suitors. While he had never been truly tried or tested, never forced to seriously fight others, with Kanthaka’s help and quality as a mount, even despite his sheltered life Siddhartha was able to best his cousins in archery, horse-riding, and swordplay. Truly, he owed his marriage to his beloved horse.

With such a close bond, it is no surprise that he took Kanthaka with him on his first trip outside of his confinement. Convincing a charioteer named Channa, the pair snuck outside to tour the city. Led by his servant and carried by Kanthaka, for the first time, Siddhartha encountered the real world. For the first time, he beheld the totality of human life.

This excursion would come to be known as the Four Sights, the four encounters that awakened Siddhartha towards spiritualism and his destiny.

First, an elderly man in his sixties, the prince’s first time viewing the ravages of age.
Second, a leper begging for alms, the prince’s first awareness of illness and suffering.
Third, a dead body, the prince’s first exposure to mortality.
Fourth, an ascetic monk seeking the truth of human suffering, the prince’s first example of pursuing salvation of the soul.

Shaken by the experience, Siddhartha thought long and hard about what he had seen, ultimately resolving to untether himself from the shackles of material temptation. He abandoned his title, separated from his wife and their son Rahula, and snuck out of the castle on Kanthaka’s back with Channa’s help. The horse did everything in her power to deliver Siddhartha to freedom, even leaping over a powerful river to help her master escape.

In return, the future Buddha told her to return without him, giving her his clothes, treasures, and hair to return to his father’s castle. Stricken by the realization he wasn’t taking her with her, Kanthaka nevertheless did as she was told, returning with Channa to Śuddhodana’s castle.

And then, her task complete, Kanthaka died.

Buddhist tradition states that the loyal steed died of a broken heart after realizing her beloved master was leaving her behind as one of his many fetters to the material world. However, due to her good deeds and effort, she was reborn as a human brahmin who, by chance, ran across the Buddha lecturing others on dharma and became a student of Buddhism herself. These same texts state that she went on to become enlightened herself, leaving behind the material world as her prince had done before her, and her story ends there. There are no stories of subsequent lives or of the state she achieved after enlightenment.

    Did Kanthaka actually achieve enlightenment?
Was she really able to release herself from the bonds and ties holding her to the mortal world?
Or was she simply following the footsteps of the one to whom her life had been pledged?
Only Kanthaka and the Buddha know for sure.

Summoned as a Rider in her human form, garbed in the princely robes her owner left behind, Rider greets her new Master and sets about doing the only thing she has ever known:

Guiding others to where they need to go, no matter what awaits her at the end.

    Personality:
Manifest in a point halfway between her life as a horse and her reincarnation as Gautama’s student, Rider is energetic and curious, quick to chase after what interests her but easily spooked by things that surprise her. Earnest and kind, it is easy for others to look at Rider as a child or pure spirit, but that same purity leads her to often gracelessly call out negative qualities in others and completely overlook basic human conventions and niceties.

Regarding her master, Rider is deeply loyal and will follow her summoner to the end of the world, for better and for worse - but while she will never break from her Master’s side, she will never stop trying to help them or correct their faults either, and trusts in Buddha’s guidance to deliver them to the end they deserve. She follows the precepts left behind for her without fail, without question, and without compromise with the single-mindedness of a stubborn beast. Which, in some sense, she still is. Or perhaps that is simply the form her faith takes?

In short, while she is loving and loyal towards her Master, unless extenuating circumstances change her view, in the event of a conflict her duty to save their souls will ultimately always trump her duty to win the Holy Grail War for them.

    Class Skills:
    Riding
    Rank: A+
The ability to ride mounts and vehicles. At this rank, all vehicles and all creatures up to the level of Phantasmal Beasts and Divine Beasts can be used as mounts. However, that does not apply to members of the Dragon Kind.

    Magic Resistance
    Rank: E
Since Kanthaka did not have any abilities that can resist magecraft, her Magic Resistance remains at the minimum level of E. Although her Magic Resistance is low, she is able to defend against spells to some extent through her Personal Skills.

    Personal Skills:
    Divinity
    Rank: E
The measure of whether one has Divine Spirit aptitude or not. At high levels, one is treated as a mixed race of a Divine Spirit, and the level declines when the Heroic Spirit's own rank as a Monster or Demonic Beast raises. Rider’s possession of this skill reflects stories of her enlightenment in her subsequent life… yet its low rank calls into question whether she truly set aside all her attachments to this world in the end.

    Natural Body (Horse)
    Rank: A
The possession of a perfect body (as a horse) since birth. Kanthaka was the prize horse of King Śuddhodana’s court, bred to be excellent in beauty, skill, and speed. She retains her quality even in her current form between horse and Brahmin. While she no longer has a permanent rank up and plus modifier to her AGI, at this rank, Kanthaka can push herself to sharply increase her AGI temporarily.

    Guidance Towards the Sacred Fig
    Rank: A
A skill that provides protection to those who seek the truth of the world - the answer of humanity that Siddhārtha Gautama found underneath the branches of the Sri Maha Bodhi. Rather than a protector of the world, Rider is at best a transporter who facilitates the journey towards the point at which others may qualify as protectors in her stead. At this rank, skills representing the Buddha and his teachings may be exercised at C-B rank. Only one skill may be in effect at a time.

These skills include Kallaripayatu, High-Speed Sutra Chanting, Taoist Arts, Clairvoyance, Animal Communication, Territory Creation (Pure Land), and others. Rider may also grant these skills to other Servants or her Master at E rank, although rather than teaching them, it is more accurate to say that Rider brings them to the point at which they learn the skills on their own.

    Noble Phantasm:
Shakyamuni Bodhi - Four Paths, Four Sights, Four Truths
    Type: Anti-Unit
    Rank: A++
The journey Kanthaka took her owner on sublimated as a Noble Phantasm, Shakayumi Bodhi represents the Four Sights that set Siddhartha Gautama on the path towards Buddhahood. Had it not been for Kanthaka’s back and her diligence as Gautama’s steed, he would not have been able to know human suffering and may have never set out towards salvation.

A continuously active Noble Phantasm, this represents Rider’s duty as one who exposes others to the truth of the world. No matter who her Master is, no matter what their intent, one way or another, Rider will expose them to the Four Sights, awakening their soul to the spiritual realms.

The form of the Four Sights will vary from individual to individual and Rider herself has no firsthand knowledge what they will be - she merely has an intuitive sense how to bring them about and a nature that draws those sights to her and her Master. Akin to a causality-bending phenomena, as long as Rider exists in the world, no matter how unlikely, the catalysts towards spiritual growth will exist to be found.

Essentially a Noble Phantasm that forcibly sets one on the path towards awakening bodhi in her Master. Whether they reach nirvana, become a Bodhisattva, or fall astray is up to them… but without fail, Rider will deliver them onto that branching road. Rather than possessing a mount of her own, Rider views herself as the mount of her Master, delivering them to salvation as she did for her owner.

While knowing that what awaits her is another broken heart, she will see them off with a proud smile.

Since this month's contest is my prompt, no, but it is a fun little challenge for me to write a "contest entry" and put it here regardless.

So, what Skills would fit someone who was a member of the Church's Burial Agency? I'm trying to work on Royd's suggestion for a Dietrich Bonhoeffer sheet but I'm not entirely sure what to do as far as the whole "former Burial Agency member" stuff.

    Class Skills:

    Mad Enhancement - EX
The Class Skill that characterizes a Berserker, raising basic parameters and strengthens one's physical abilities in exchange for hindering mental capacities and/or their sense of reason.

Curiously, Mad Enhancement only manifests whenever Berserker is incited or express great passion in a person or subject. During his “maddened” form of thought, Though he is normally capable of communication and understanding, his “Excited” state makes such luxuries nigh-impossible until he calms down again.

Stranger still, rather than boosting his physical parameters, the Skill only seemed to have amplified the strength of his Noble Phantasms...

    Personal Skills:

Architect of Wonders ~ Innovation - EX
Berserker's variant of the Innovation Skill, allowing him to devise, improve, or construct devices of the non-magical kind. Famed for the creation of various “Engineering Wonders,” nothing is out of Berserker’s scope. Hills will be burrowed, iron will be bent, and the distant horizons will be reached; for the Servant is someone who will not let dreams remain in the realm of fantasy. Given time, Berserker can create something on the lines of a "Modern Noble Phantasm."

However, as with many of his projects they are often extremely costly and on some occasions, completely impractical. Discounting the additional possibility of them spontaneously exploding, Berserker can quickly rack up a debt. A monstrous fusion of Pioneer of the Stars and Golden Rule (Calamity), it makes Berserker a rather high-maintenance Servant.

No matter what Berserker claims, the explosion from his critically damaged creations are, in fact, not a function.

“Hah, those peashooters of yours are a thing of the past; with my Spiritual Disruption Heater Cannons, even you can blast a Heroic Spirit into next week-Aak!

Err, yes indeed; these guns also double as grenades!”

    ---

    Misfortune Redirection - B
A skill designated to those who are the unscathed survivors of multiple unfortunate events. Be it the onslaught of war or simply a stroke of ill chance, they are the proof that, if in a limited scale, "Dumb Luck" does exist.

The source of Berserker's absurd LUK parameter, it allows him to transfer or swap failed Luck checks towards/with those around him - - be if a nearby animal, plant or other humans. A tunnel flooding. At B-rank, Berserker can "Re-roll" a maximum of three times per encounter. A burning transatlantic ship. Choking on a coin. Berserker's narrow strokes with Death is as insane as it is entertaining - - for even through the hubris of his aspirations, he managed to overcome them all.

Even then, he is indeed like a comet, shining bright but quick to fade; for the three decades of strain eventually taken a fatal toll on his body.

    “N… no, I can’t die, not yet…!”

    ---

    Natural-Born Genius - B-
A Skill that shows one who has unparalleled natural knowledge. Allows the use of most Skills, excluding those inherent to the body (such as Divinity) or ones unique to particular heroes, at proficiency of B to C-Rank.

Under normal circumstances, Berserker is able to call upon many Skills for his own use. But due to the effects of Mad Enhancement, it is greatly limited to creation-based Skills like Mechanical Armor and Item Construction (False). Though with only that of a watchmaker's experience, Berserker went and completely flipped the tables of Britain's engineering world with his wild and seemingly impossible projects. From the Clifton Bridge to the Great Eastern, the man is no doubt a savant of his time.

Given he is summoned to fight, Berserker is certainly be off making a suit of power armor to give him an additional edge in combat. Calling it a “Combat Exo-Skeleton,” the Servant will charge head-first cannons blasting.

“Awfully stuffy this suit is. Blast it, should’ve saved some extra for the comfort department.”

    Noble Phantasms

    Fell-Child Western
    Dead Leviathan's Roar

    Anti-Army
    Rank: C+
    Range: 1~94
    Max Targets: 300 People

    SS Great Western.
Rather than the "Great Babe" SS Great Eastern, Berserker can only manifest his previous transatlantic project, the steam paddleboat Great Western. This ship carried the infamous reputation of nearly killing her creator not once, but twice; the first was the great fire mid-development, and the second a faulty ladderung with a twenty-foot fall. Five years later, however, this ship was eclipsed by the Great Eastern - - effectively ending the Age of Transatlantic Paddleboats. (An "Age" Berserker himself ushered, no less.)

Manifested under the veil of "Madness," this negative connection to Berserker has more or less malformed the Great Western into a "Demon-like existence," less of a ship but a metal monstrosity barely contained by Berserker. Belching flame and smoke, it shears through stone and metal with its “Fangs,” uncaring of its hull. Most of the time it will target nearby Servants, merely souls to feed its engine. However, there is always an off-chance it will chase after Berserker instead, living up to its legend as "The ship that nearly killed Brunel."

Pay no heed to the massive suit of armor running form a rampaging ship-demon; it is merely that of a child revolting against a parent.

    Titan's Stride
Paving The Way, Towards a Greater Height

    Other
    Rank: C++
    Range: ???
    Max Target: 1 Person

    Titan's Stride.
Less of a physical accomplishment, but rather the
    mindset
    delusions
of Berserker. His drive to never settle, to always strive for something greater, bigger, better, stronger. The unreasonable resources and expenses, ludicrous plans to make ends meet, the connections he pulled to bring them to reality. For all his absurd rush towards the future, Berserker had truly proven himself as a "Heroic Spirit of Progress."

Surpassing the constraints of Conceptual Improvement, Berserker gains the ability to directly improve Noble Phantasms themselves. It matters not that these are the crystallization of legends, for Berserker is the “Hero who Aims Ever Higher;” whose aspirations transcend the limits of physical and conceptual. Even if his ideas are far ahead of what the current world can provide, he will see it realized nonetheless.

With time, C-Ranks become A-Ranks; Anti-Unit becomes Anti-Fortress; Range extends from 10 to 80; though the path is long, the limits of Berserker’s enhancements cannot be halted. Thankfully, the length of time for Titan's Stride to take effect is greatly reduced by Mad Enhancement. Fueled by fervor, what would normally take days are done within hours. Though Divine Armaments are above his ken, trust Berserker in making a fourth-rate Noble Phantasm rival these “Treasures.”

“Haah! Eat your heart out, Edison!”

    Lore

“What is a dream, but an aspiration you know might not be realized?
Even then, chase after it, for there is a chance, no matter how small.”

Such is the lesson taught to Isambard Kingdom Brunel, something his father instilled into him at a young age. Though fraught with monetary troubles, the young man was brought up in a loving family. It was through their care and affections that his burgeoning talents were developed, with the understanding drawing and observational techniques by four and mastering geometry by eight.

Once out of apprenticeship Brunel immediately tackled projects supposedly beyond his ken. From the Thames Tunnel before moving onto the Clifton Suspension Bridge, Brunel earned his call to fame in winning a bridge design contest hosted in Bristol. Sadly, the matters of budget, troubled times and near-death accidents via tunnel flooding forced Brunel to look for brighter prospects.

Undeterred by the limits of reality, Brunel was determined to realize his wonders made real. And such drive was eventually met with fruitful results in the form of the Great Western Railway - - one of the "Wonders of Victorian Britain." As Chief Engineer, he laid the iron rails stretching from London to Exeter. Vying the railway to be the epitome of "Speed and Efficiency," hills were dug through, bridges will be built, while altering the boxcars for maximum comfort and capacity.

Perhaps one of Brunel's greatest work is in the field of Transatlantic Shipping, where despite his lack of experience, created two of the most acclaimed ships the Great Western and Great Eastern. The former being a steam paddleboat and the latter a genuine steamship, both were lauded as the largest ships of their respective category and period. Financial strains and workplace hazards notwithstanding, the two modern leviathans are proof of Brunel's will as a dreamer, or his willingness to realize them.

Tragically, the strain of sleepless nights and unhealthy smoking took its toll on Brunel's health. Suffering from a stroke, the engineer was incapacitated and eventually passed ten days later at the age of 53. Although he never lived to witness it, both the Great Eastern and the Clifton Suspension Bridge were finally complete after his passing. Both were regarded as wonders of British ingenuity, with the bridge still operational even today - - a testament of Brunel's phenomenal design.

A rare specimen among dreamers, who brought forth his fancies onto the world.

    Personality

An Industrial Genius. An Overclocked Visionary. A Mad Fool. A Little Giant.

Such were the epithets given to the wild upstart that is Brunel, one that he appeared to embrace with great mirth. Perhaps spurred by Mad Enhancement, the engineer is very much a firebrand; eyes burning with an unrivaled passion for creation and challenge. Indoor voice is non-existent, with a "whisper" being akin to a light bark. While behavior should've been obnoxious, there's a certain sense of "Charm" about the Berserker's wild gesturing and repeated abuse of purple prose. Truly, the heart of a party.

    However, the plainness of his calmed state clashes horribly to the theatrics displayed earlier on. The previous high-energy intensity is replaced with a muted and measured murmur. Even simply calling out his name would catch him off-guard, stumbling to form an adequate reply. Though the forwardness is gone, the calmed Brunel is far more introspective;

"Incredibly late on my part, but consider this a belated apology for my, err, recklessness. Indeed, there's no one to blame but myself; to be so needlessly concerned with the opinion of others, that my theatrics has been corrupted to the levels of Mad Enhancement - -
Ehh, ah! Don't mind me, just prattling on."

Even so, there is a reason Innocent Monster is absent from Brunel's skillset.

Loathing as it may have been, both “versions” of Brunel are true.
A loving son and parent he is. A harsh and reckless visionary he is. He is the father who was kept away in the line of work. He is the unfettered revolutionary, uncaring of any cost he may incur. A falling star, who brought forth countless wonders onto the World at the cost of his life.

This is the Heroic Spirit that is "Isambard Kingdom Brunel;" A hero of Progress who imposed his dream onto reality.

“They call me ‘The Little Giant,’ a Titan not in frame, but in spirit. ...So a wee stroke is unbecoming of me, dammit! At least catch me in a blazing explosion, why don’t ye-cough!

    Errm. Apologies.”

    Extras:

(For the love of God, please refrain from addressing his height problems. Being shorter than the King of Knights is an insult enough. At least there isn’t a child who is as tall as him-
    “A witch! A twelve-year old witch! I’m no taller than a twelve-year old child-”)

(A workaholic of disgusting proportions. For all his time as project head being a benevolent dictator, his propensity for 20-hour work days and sometimes disproportionate workload has really pushed him to the limits of human endurance. It would be a common site to see him stuck in his makeshift "Workplace" blowing through stacks of blueprints and raw material. Please check up on him regularly.)

("Apologies for the intrusion Master, but I had an idea so wonderful that I must speak to someone about it! You know of those zeppelins, yes? With the right amount of help, I can perhaps craft the largest mobile balloon-propelled fortress in the world - - a Hyper Zeppelin! Why, don't you see the tactical advantage..."
To Berserker, 'Master' is but a synonym for 'Benefactor.' While he is primarily the planner, it falls upon his hapless Master to be delegated the necessary means to secure the resources and the expenses for such projects. But because Berserker tend to get carried away, please pay a closer eye on his antics. Hesitation can spell the end of one's wallet.)

    Craft Essence/Relations

    Fanciful Dreams
These sketches are nothing more than doodles,
creations of delightful fancy with zero use whatsoever.

    And yet, sometimes such fantasies are far more precious;
whims shared between those you cherish and love, a personal link of sorts.
A faraway height, impossible to reach; even then, to be one with the stars is nevertheless beautiful.

    Even now, I see it clearly;
the stifled laughter of little Henry and Florence, amidst the scattered pages.
The delectable laugh of friends long past, eluding me with indirect questions.

'- - Ahh, the blueprints for that manor.
Though the first visit was unfortunate, the resort was a window to paradise.
It was a sanctuary to finally settle with my "Little Treasures," when all my dreams are finally realized.
    But alas.'

    Relations:

Charles Babbage: *Sniff* "Aaah, if it isn't Mister Babbage - - the scent of steam never lies! Always nice to see a familiar face around here. Say, that steel chassis of yours is giving me ideas; I don't suppose you would object to a joint-commission, hmm?"

A trustworthy associate, a fellow polymath. The Caster's form changes little, really; in fact, Berserker will commend Babbage for following his dream to this extent. As the erudite is proficient in troubleshooting, there is no doubt Berserker's creations will be a bit less impractical. Interactions aside, their synergy stretches to the field of battle as well; with the help of Titan's Stride, perhaps Babbage's dream of "A World of Steam" can be made a reality.
Masters beware, however, as both the Berserker and Caster are men of great visions - - any project they collaborate in will surely go out of hand.

    ---

Ada Lovelace: "Gaahhhahah! Put me down put me down, I'm not some children's stuffed toy! Eeerrrm, nobody must know of this, or else I'll be ruined..."

An eccentric young woman. Though never met properly in life, it's really their association with Babbage that they even know of one another. With the mathematician's outwards manner pushing him in a constant defensive, it's impossible for Berserker to become "Maddened" in her vicinity. Watching him slowing sinking into his coat and hat is an amusing sight.

    ---

Florence Nightingale: "Aha, you are the "Angel" that everyone's talking about. And what timing too, as I was about to consult you with- Gehh!?"

Thanks to Berserker's Renkioi Hospital designs, the casualties within the hell that was the Crimean War was mitigated greatly. According to the Angel herself, these "Magnificent Huts" reduced the numbers dead by ten times. And so, a first encounter between the two would naturally result in a spine-crushing hug of gratitude from the head nurse herself.

...Which would result in grievous injury on Berserker's part, which would lead to Nightingale performing surgery to save him. Poor sod.

    ---

    Rider of the Fourth Reich:
"Pfah, you call that weensie box a
Vimana!? Give me your finest metals, and I'll show you a real 'Chariot of the Heavens!' 'Sides, I've always wanted to conquer the air - - nothing more enticing than a challenge!"

Projectiles (Black Keys) and Baptism Sacrament would be obvious choices.

    Kiwi:
Mm, it was partly in connection with a prompt about Servants with bonds to someone else, but I’ve also been interested in some of the ancillary characters in Buddha’s life, since he left behind more trauma than I expected when I researched Rahula for my Kaguyahime alter ego series. Between Rahula and Kanthaka and his wife, Siddhartha was a bit of a callous jerk in how he went about his departure. But as seen here, they still loved him...

And since she got reincarnated as a human, I had a viable excuse for the most loyal horse girl to do her best as a Servant. I like to think of her as a companion piece to Yue Tu.

    Fu Hao:
Servants with lost histories are always hard to work with, but I think you did a good job combining sources and authenticating your decisions with her. She ends up coming across as a strong, interesting protagonist worthy Servant in amount of character and power level - the Oracle bone magic is neat, especially since it’s magic but she has to craft them in advance. And she’s a big hitter which is fitting for her age. She even has a lot of relationships and a sense of how she’d get along with others - maybe some idea how she’d get along with different types of Masters would be nice, but you add so much that you get a sense of that already.

    Hippocleides:
A rare choice for a Servant and the way he’s rendered is funny but also tragic - he’s defined by his worst moment and can’t even avoid it by staying sober. His skill set reminds me of a sillier Shuten, but I like that Dionysus is incorporated similarly to with Apollo and Paris. If I have one complaint, it’s that Dionysus is interwoven but not given a lot of personality in the sheet - he can take over but he’s otherwise not “present” and you don’t get a sense of that 20% of the character.

    Brunel:
Yay, you finished him! A very nice Victorian servant, his story is really inspiring and you put in a lot of personality and heart to both sides of his personality. A madman and a gentleman at the same time in a small, big package! I like how he interacts with NPs and that he has to build things - it’s a neat but expensive niche. The quotes were nicely chosen and gives a really strong impression of who he is. I’d like to see more of him...!

Also I see what you did there.

“I have no patience for those who would deny the heart of a good story based on the faulty meritorious presumption that one’s travels might be anything less than extravagant and fantastical, my lord. Veracity, above all, is the cardinal virtue by which I mean to both make my way through life, as well as perhaps afford some small entertainment in the meantime.”

    Class Skills:
    Magic Resistance: E
Magic Resistance grants protection against magical effects. Differing from the Resistance effect that merely rejects Magical Energy, this ability cancels the spells altogether.

Cannot cancel spells, but magic damage is reduced somewhat.

    Independent Action: A
Independent Action is the ability to remain independent even when rejecting the Magical Energy supply from one's Master; the ability that allows for action even in the absence of the Master. At higher ranks, it is also possible to remain for extended periods of time in this world without an established contract.

It is possible to take action even without a Master. However, to use Noble Phantasms of great magical energy consumption, backup from the Master is necessary. At Rank A, it is possible for a Servant to stay in the world for about a week without a Master.

    Personal Skills:
    Marksmanship: A++
Marksmanship is a Skill representing all-round shooting techniques, which includes quick drawing and trick shooting by means of small arms.

The territory of “greatest marksman of the 18th century” is occupied exclusively by Archer, there is simply no man who even approaches the level of skill Archer has consistently displayed by force of arms. Though prioritizing the use of muskets and rifles, Archer is by no means limited to such contraptions. He has been known to bring down prey through the ingenious use of a sling, pistols, as well as physically relocating his chosen projectile by the strength of his muscles alone.

Perhaps Archer’s most famous anecdote of marksmanship concerns the use of a cannon, with which he perfectly repelled a similar cannonball belonging to the Spanish, during the Siege of Gibraltar. Archer, of course, humbly shifts the cause of this magnificent shot to luck and the lad operating the cannon.

“I had brought a most excellent refracting telescope with me from London, purchased of Dollond, by the help of which I found the enemy were going to discharge a thirty-six pounder at the spot where we stood. I told the General what they were about; he looked through the glass also, and found my conjectures right. I immediately, by his permission, ordered a forty-eight pounder to be brought from a neighbouring battery, which I placed with so much exactness (having long studied the art of gunnery) that I was sure of my mark.

I continued watching the enemy till I saw the match placed at the touch-hole of their piece; at that very instant I gave the signal for our gun to be fired also.

About midway between the two pieces of cannon the balls struck each other with amazing force, and the effect was astonishing! The enemy's ball recoiled back with such violence as to kill the man who had discharged it, by carrying his head fairly off, with sixteen others which it met with in its progress to the Barbary coast, where its force, after passing through three masts of vessels that then lay in a line behind each other in the harbour, was so much spent, that it only broke its way through the roof of a poor labourer's hut, about two hundred yards inland, and destroyed a few teeth an old woman had left, who lay asleep upon her back with her mouth open. The ball lodged in her throat. Her husband soon after came home, and endeavoured to extract it; but finding that impracticable, by the assistance of a rammer he forced it into her stomach. Our ball did excellent service; for it not only repelled the other in the manner just described, but, proceeding as I intended it should, it dismounted the very piece of cannon that had just been employed against us, and forced it into the hold of the ship, where it fell with so much force as to break its way through the bottom. The ship immediately filled and sank, with above a thousand Spanish sailors on board, besides a considerable number of soldiers.”
An “aimbot”? Of course it’s nothing like that. Please, cease such foolish accusations.

    Mystic Eyes of Flame: C
Eyes with the power to interfere with the outer world. Specifically, the imposition of external heat value to one’s immediate surroundings.

The possession of such eyes remained unbeknownst to Archer himself for a large portion of his life, awakening to the precious heirlooms residing within his skull by way of an accident which caused not a little harm to Archer’s own body.

“One morning I saw, through the windows of my bed-room, that a large pond not far off was covered with wild ducks. In an instant I took my gun from the corner, ran down-stairs and out of the house in such a hurry, that I imprudently struck my face against the door-post. Fire flew out of my eyes, but it did not prevent my intention; I soon came within shot, when, levelling my piece, I observed to my sorrow, that even the flint had sprung from the cock by the violence of the shock I had just received. There was no time to be lost. I presently remembered the effect it had on my eyes, therefore I...levelled my fist against one of my eyes. [The Baron's eyes have retained fire ever since, and appear particularly illuminated when he relates this anecdote.] A hearty blow drew sparks again...and I killed fifty brace of ducks, twenty widgeons, and three couple of teals.”
Is there anything wrong with an honest man discovering something significant about himself at an inopportune moment? No? Even a man whose eyes unleash Hell can give himself up to tears, fiery though they may be. To have the world dyed rosy simply by opening one’s eyes, am I not truly blessed for this alone? Ah, do watch out though, for you shall be burned to a crisp!

    Determination of Steel: A
Determination of Steel is a composite Skill, combining the effects of the Valor and Calm and Collected Skills, that allows one to completely ignore pain and endure superhuman speeds.

Archer’s way of life, sublimated into a skill. A worldly gentleman who conducted his way through life with panache, patience, and oftentimes overwhelming amounts of violence. Despite all physical setbacks, he persevered. Despite numerous claims of his insincerity, he never lost the composure of a gentleman. He has never succumbed. Should one compose oneself diligently, one’s success in all matters is practically ensured. His only failures are the tasks he has yet to attempt. The end result is a complete blocking of his sense of pain, resulting in a superhuman mind and body that can endure even super-high-speed action.

Though, is it really due to his countenance, or that strange body he seems to possess…

    Noble Phantasm(s):

    Wunderbare Geschichten
Topfschlagen--A Lack of Ammunition is Inexcusable

    Type: Anti-Unit
    Rank: D+
    Range: 1~99
    Max Targets: 1

Archer’s cherished musket. A purely modern firearm, yet its feats far outshine what one could feasibly expect from such a model. Culling thousands of polar bears one day, to serving as armament for Archer during a military operation on the moon the next; the fact remains, such a modern weapon cannot possess an adequate amount of Mystery equal to a Noble Phantasm of even the lowest rank. Of course, for a man such as Archer, to not properly gird oneself with one’s weapon is the same as leaving the house undressed. So he made do.

Hamesh Avanim, the legendary sling of King David, has been carefully installed as a carrying sling for Archer’s musket. But, wait, that kind of claim is a bit much, isn’t it…?

“You wish (I can see by your countenances) I would inform you how I became possessed of such a treasure as the sling just mentioned. (Here facts must be held sacred.) Thus then it was: I am a descendant of the wife of Uriah, whom we all know David was intimate with; she had several children by his majesty; they quarrelled once upon a matter of the first consequence, viz., the spot where Noah's ark was built, and where it rested after the flood. A separation consequently ensued. She had often heard him speak of this sling as his most valuable treasure: this she stole the night they parted; it was missed before she got out of his dominions, and she was pursued by no less than six of the king's body-guards: however, by using it herself she hit the first of them (for one was more active in the pursuit than the rest) where David did Goliath, and killed him on the spot. His companions were so alarmed at his fall that they retired, and left Uriah's wife to pursue her journey. She took with her, I should have informed you before, her favourite son by this connection, to whom she bequeathed the sling; and thus it has, without interruption, descended from father to son till it came into my possession.”
While Archer has been known to use the sling for its intended function, it seems he’s purposefully opted to use it as a means of raising his musket to the level of a Noble Phantasm. Consequently, none of the sling’s inherent properties seem to have transferred over. That being said, the musket is far from a useless piece of equipment.

Archer, on his many journeys, would oftentimes find himself without access to ball and powder with which to load his musket. Naturally, the improvisation of ammunition became not just a hobby, but in certain situations an actual necessity. Perhaps most famously is the incident in which he loaded a handful of cherry pits in place of grapeshot for use against a certain stag he was hunting. While the shot landed, it failed to actually kill the stag. Instead, a full-blown cherry tree soon began to grow from the creature’s cranium. Working in tandem, the musket and Archer’s anecdotes create a Noble Phantasm of “exponential growth towards logical extremes”. A cherry pit grew to its logical conclusion and became a tree. A nail Archer had once fired (in an effort to not damage a fox’s coat with regular shot) instantly skinned the animal all at once without damaging the tail. This effect can be imparted to any potential improvised ammunition, obviously so long as it can actually fit inside the musket.

As with his ancestor’s sling, Archer has named his musket after a children’s game. Topfschlagen (“Hit the Pot” in English) is a German game meant to be played indoors, in which a blindfolded person searches for a pot full of chocolate with a stick.

“I can see it, the path we shall take through this darkness.”
“The most perfect of bullets is man himself. Yes...aim…”
    “Feur! Wasser! Sturm! Blitz!”

Everyone knows the scene. It’s a mainstay trope of many a slapstick comedy. A foolish character, looking for respite from some physical labor or the like, climbs into a dangerous contraption for the blessed shade and relief it supposedly provides in the moment. The contraption (usually a cannon) discharges, sending the hapless fool into certain unforeseen danger--though more often than not, he escapes completely unharmed. This is the core foundation for Archer’s trump card. No matter how many times his stories have been translated, adapted into plays or movies, or even depicted in paintings; the event that sticks out first and foremost in the forethought of his relevant zeitgeist is that of “riding the cannonball”.

“My first visit to England was about the beginning of the present king's reign. I had occasion to go down to Wapping, to see some goods shipped, which I was sending to some friends at Hamburgh; after that business was over, I took the Tower Wharf in my way back. Here I found the sun very powerful, and I was so much fatigued that I stepped into one of the cannon to compose me, where I fell fast asleep. This was about noon: it was the fourth of June; exactly at one o'clock these cannon were all discharged in memory of the day. They had been all charged that morning, and having no suspicion of my situation, I was shot over the houses on the opposite side of the river, into a farmer's yard, between Bermondsey and Deptford, where I fell upon a large hay-stack, without waking, and continued there in a sound sleep till hay became so extravagantly dear (which was about three months after), that the farmer found it his interest to send his whole stock to market: the stack I was reposing upon was the largest in the yard, containing above five hundred load; they began to cut that first. I woke with the voices of the people who had ascended the ladders to begin at the top, and got up, totally ignorant of my situation: in attempting to run away I fell upon the farmer to whom the hay belonged, and broke his neck, yet received no injury myself. I afterwards found, to my great consolation, that this fellow was a most detestable character, always keeping the produce of his grounds for extravagant markets.”
The anecdote of Archer’s impossible voyage atop a cannonball is built upon by the many instances of the man in question hurling cannonballs at his intended targets without the use of a cannon at all. The end result is an ability concerning the absolute judgment of trajectory...but really it’s more like he intercepts the cannonball in midair and kicks it.

Several dozen cannons are summoned and fired haphazardly--each one representing a personal experience Archer has had concerning the specific cannonball--with Archer mounting the final ball to be fired, carried into the midst of the ordnance bombardment. From one cannonball to the next, Archer launches his body at high speeds, adjusting each cannonball perfectly with a kick. The end result is a finely focused shelling that is “incredibly difficult to evade”.

The pièce de résistance is the arrival of the final shell, known as the Tott Shell according to Archer, named after a certain gentleman he once endeavored to outdo in feats of magnificence.

"The Turks had placed below the castle, and near the city, on the banks of Simois, a celebrated river, an enormous piece of ordnance cast in brass, which would carry a marble ball of eleven hundred pounds weight. I was inclined," says Tott, "to fire it, but I was willing first to judge of its effect; the crowd about me trembled at this proposal, as they asserted it would overthrow not only the castle, but the city also; at length their fears in part subsided, and I was permitted to discharge it. It required not less than three hundred and thirty pounds' weight of powder, and the ball weighed, as before mentioned, eleven hundredweight. When the engineer brought the priming, the crowds who were about me retreated back as fast as they could; nay, it was with the utmost difficulty I persuaded the Pacha, who came on purpose, there was no danger: even the engineer who was to discharge it by my direction was considerably alarmed. I took my stand on some stone-work behind the cannon, gave the signal, and felt a shock like that of earthquake! At the distance of three hundred fathom the ball burst into three pieces; the fragments crossed the strait, rebounded on the opposite mountain, and left the surface of the water all in a foam through the whole breadth of the channel."
A cannonball from a 1,100 pounder cannon is equivalent to a 5,331 caliber bullet. The largest cannon ever successfully fired has a caliber barely over 900. Of course, a gentleman cannot be expected to expertly wield such a monstrous creation. When attempting his trumping of Tott, Archer had stolen the massive ordnance, placed it on his shoulder, and swam back across the Channel with it. Unfortunately, when attempting to throw it back, its unwieldy size (and an unfortunate premature discharge) occasioned that Archer should drop the weapon into the depths of the Channel. The Tott Shell, therefore, is a finishing blow descending from the sky, the aiming of which would simply be foolish in its attempt.

Hmm? What do you mean that this technique is one big “S-- Pistols” reference?

    Lore:

Archer’s True Name is Baron Münchhausen, the satirical traveler also known as Gulliver Revived and the Lying Baron.

The story of the Baron is treated as a literary creation by the German author Rudolf Erich Raspe; a caricature of the real Hieronymus Karl Friedrich, Freiherr von Münchhausen, who had a habit of telling tremendous tall tales.

However, every word the Baron has ever uttered has been only the utmost truth. Raspe had occasion to meet the Baron in the midst of his storytelling at a certain tavern. Enraptured, Raspe joined the Baron’s already sizable retinue as a biographer.

“No man is entirely truthful, therefore I have no qualms with being called a liar. I can only vouch for my own veracity, not whether such a virtue is trusted by others.”

This is what the Baron told Raspe after revealing that more often than not, his stories were disregarded as falsehoods. Changing a man’s mind is impossible, but entertaining him is incredibly simple.

The fictional Baron Munchausen is a braggart soldier, most strongly defined by his comically exaggerated boasts about his own adventures; all of the stories in Raspe's book are told in first-person narrative, with a prefatory note explaining that "the Baron is supposed to relate these extraordinary Adventures over his Bottle, when surrounded by his Friends". The Baron's stories imply him to be a superhuman figure who spends most of his time either getting out of absurd predicaments or indulging in equally absurd moments of gentle mischief. In some of his best-known stories, the Baron rides a cannonball, travels to the Moon, is swallowed by a giant fish in the Mediterranean Sea, saves himself from drowning by pulling on his own hair, fights a forty-foot crocodile, enlists a wolf to pull his sleigh, and uses laurel tree branches to fix his horse when the animal is accidentally cut in two.

In the stories he narrates, the Baron is shown as a calm, rational man, describing what he experiences with simple objectivity; absurd happenings elicit, at most, mild surprise from him, and he shows serious doubt about any unlikely events he has not witnessed himself. The resulting narrative effect is an ironic tone, encouraging skepticism in the reader and marked by a running undercurrent of subtle social satire. In addition to his fearlessness when hunting and fighting, he is suggested to be a debonair, polite gentleman given to moments of gallantry, with a scholarly penchant for knowledge, a tendency to be pedantically accurate about details in his stories, and a deep appreciation for food and drink of all kinds. The Baron also provides a solid geographical and social context for his narratives, peppering them with topical allusions and satire about recent events; indeed, many of the references in Raspe's original text are to historical incidents in the real-life Münchhausen's military career.

    Creator Notes

This sheet was one of those perfect storms. I’d already done a “satirical lying character is a satirical liar” in the form of Lucian, so I already knew I wanted to do something different. The sheet began from seeing Kizaru riding the cannonball and thinking “that has to be referring to something”. Then the FC showed up, and the rest of the sheet basically wrote itself.

I kept it vague whether or not the Baron was a robot or an android--partially to avoid confirming it through a Skill or something--but the notion that during one of his adventures he’d gotten his head knocked down into his stomach for several months and was perfectly fine, coupled with the apparent heat vision and ridiculous feats of strength made the concept of a “dandy android that nobody acknowledges is actually an android” just too appealing.

Also, the Baron’s stories are legitimately hilarious, even 300 years removed from the target demographic.

The “Tott Cannon” seems to be based off of the Dardanelles Gun, the massive siege bombard of the Ottoman Empire. if I did the caliber math wrong I’m sorry, I don’t know what I’m doing. Thank you for reading.

A repost from the contest thread. (Mostly because I never remember what I've submitted in the past and always check here first.)

unrelated, you guys see the evo lineup this year? pretty wild

anyway, moving on, a servant i made

    The Fighting Assassin

"Motivated. Determined. Resilient. Confident. Mentally Untouchable."

    True Name: ???
    Class: Assassin
    Other Classes: N/A
    Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
Place of Origin: The United States

    Parameters:
    STR: D
    END: D
    AGI: D
    MGI: E
    LCK: B
    NP: C

    Skills
    Class Skills:
    Presence Concealment: C
Hides one's presence as a Servant. Suitable for spying. The rank of Presence Concealment drops considerably when preparing to attack, and in his case, disappears entirely when issuing a challenge. He uses this Skill more for 'infiltration' than 'assassination', able to sneak around even in highly watched, public places to get near a target, no matter how much he should stand out. Hell, he could probably sneak into your bedroom and get into bed to sleep, and you wouldn't notice until you went to bed yourself.

    Personal Skills:
    Thuggery: A
A state of mind wherein a Servant has a propensity to act inappropriately in every situation, directly correlating to the 'prestige' of the situation he's in, in ways that are incredibly charming and earn him the affections of the common man. Those who have no tolerance for such behavior, however, will despise him without fail.

    Battle Continuation: D
Assassin cannot be deterred from his goal until he feels he's either 'won' or 'lost' an encounter. If defeated, he is perfectly willing to relent, but until he feels his loss has been 'earned' by his foe, he's exceptionally hard to put down.

    Noble Phantasms
    Money Match
"You’re not done here. You can’t leave. You have to play me."

    Rank: C
    Type: Anti-Unit
The crystallization of Assassin's originating event, which gave him his infamy. In essence, he can issue a 'Challenge' to anybody he wishes by approaching them and verbally stating it. It can be anything, so long as it's in the form of a 1-on-1 competition... a thumb wrestling match, a fist fight, a video game, whatever (though, there's one particular competition he tends to choose...). Additionally, should he so desire, he or the one being challenged can name additional stakes for their competition.

Should the 'Challenge' be accepted, then the terms of the 'Challenge' become absolute rules of the 'World' for the duration of it, and any kind of cheating becomes impossible in the competition. Neither party will be able to leave unless the contest ends or they officially forfeit, neither party can receive outside help unless agreed upon beforehand (with the exception of assistance via Assassin's other Noble Phantasm, detailed below), and any stakes agreed upon (for instance, a monetary reward to the winner) will be carried out. Unfortunately, Assassin tends to accept any stakes the opponent sets forth...

Any implements necessary for the competition, within reason, are summoned by an ability similar to Item Construction of Rank B at the acceptance of the challenge, and disappear once the competition has ended and a winner has been declared.

Should Assassin successfully defeat his opponent, they will become 'Inferior' to him, as otherwise, they could not have lost to him. Thus, their Parameters will lower to be below his, and his will increase due to the 'Reputation' accrued from beating them. Therefore, the stronger and more well known the foe, the more powerful his victories will make him and the weaker they will become for losing to some 'random'.

    Assist Me
    Got Ourselves a Real Match!

    Rank: Variable
    Type: Variable
The spirit of what made Assassin who he is, in which he's able to do something fairly... astounding.

Reaching into the Throne of Heroes itself, Assassin is able to pull out any single, random heroic spirit to perform a single attack on his behalf, after which they will disappear. The attack can be anything, and isn't determined by Assassin himself-- a simple sword slash or a Noble Phantasm, as long as it's a direct attack it's open for use. Similarly, he has no control over which Heroic Spirit he summons, though there are restrictions: Only Servants of the Saber, Lancer, Archer, or Caster Classes can be summoned.

Once they have completed the attack, they disappear, though they can be intercepted and counterattacked by the opponent to stop them from performing their attack, should the counterattack be strong enough to actually stop their action.

Assassin can only use this Noble Phantasm during active combat, and there is a period of 'cooldown' he must observe between uses.

    Lore
    True Name: ???

Long ago, a mysterious gentleman appeared after a long, arduous tournament of heroes, infiltrating the event and challenging the champion to a battle of his own. Who he was, and how he got there, is unknown to this day. Occasionally, there are murmurs of his reappearance, but his identity is still just as much of a mystery as it always was.

The Ghost of Marvel is a man of conviction, and of slightly lower sanity than most. He loves a good challenge, often going out of his way to face the strongest opponents possible, even in cases where he's sure to lose or sure to find himself in hot water. Upon being summoned, he will challenge his Master to a game of Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3, and only follow their commands if they defeat him in a best-of-three set (though Command Seals will also do the trick...). Similarly, this is the 'Challenge' which he will most often declare with his Noble Phantasm, as opposed to any physical test or trial by combat.

How the Ghost of Marvel managed to get into the Throne of Heroes is an enigma... similar to how it's not quite known how he's able to repeatedly sneak into various places and attempt to play Marvel. Perhaps he was under the impression that there would be Mahvel in the Holy Grail War?

    Avenger
    Identity: Felipe II (Alter)
    Gender: Male
    Source: Historical fact
    Origin: Spain
    Alignment: Chaotic Evil
    Height: 164 cm
    Weight: 56 kg

    Parameters:
    Strength: C
    Endurance: C
    Agility: D
    Mana: A
    Luck: E
    NP: A

    Skills
    Class skills

    Avenger: A
Represents an avenger’s state as someone who collects people’s grudges and hatreds towards oneself.
The amount of mana generated when receiving damage becomes higher than usual.
The origin of this Alteration is the deep hatred towards Spain from countries such as England and France.
    ---
[Increase NP gain (20%) when taking damage.]
[Reduce all party’s (including sub-members) debuff resistance (10%) except himself. (Demerit)]

    Memory Correction: B
Although people forget easily, Avengers never forget. The strength of critical attacks coming from beyond memory is enhanced.
An Alter constantly burdened by a historical demonification. Even if his rule was to be overshadowed by other empires, this offense will never be forgotten.
    ---
    [Increase critical strength (8%).]

    Self-Replenishment (Mana): B
One’s magical energy surges endlessly until they accomplish their revenge. A minuscule amount of mana is recovered each turn.

[Charges own NP gauge (3.5%) every turn.]

    Territory Creation: A
The capacity to create a territory advantageous to oneself.
    Derived from his Noble Phantasm.
    ---
    [Increase Arts effectiveness (10%).]

    Personal skills

    Golden Rule: A-
The natural capacity to attract fortune and wealth towards oneself.
The Spanish Empire possessed great amounts of gold and silver, brought from America, but Felipe was unable to manage money properly, what resulted in the declarations of bankrupt. Due to that, this skill receives a minus modifier.
As an anecdote, a French ambassador that visited the construction of El Escorial commented that he needed more gold and less roof tiles, to which Felipe answered making use some gold ingots as tiles, and telling the ambassador that what he needed was more tiles and less gold.
    ---
    [Increase NP gain (19 – 47.5%) for 3 turns.]

    Imperial Privilege: A
The absoluteness of the emperor’s word. The emperor is practically a god, and what the emperor says is unarguably true. Allows to manifest temporarily a series of skills, among which burdens of the body such as Divinity may be counted if the rank is A or higher.
The relevant skills are Charisma, Military Tactics, swordsmanship, Riding,
    ---
    [60% chance to increase attack (20 – 40%) for 3 turns.]
    [60% chance to increase defense (20 – 40%) for 3 turns.]
    [Recover (1,000 – 3,000) HP.]

    Never-Setting Sun: EX
A skill unique of Felipe II that represents how the Spanish Empire under his reign was the first empire with territories on every known continent.
Negates proofs of royalty (Charisma, Imperial Privilege, etc.), as well as fame boosts, possessed by the enemy. However, its effect becomes weaker when treading enemy territory.
    ---
[Decrease enemy party’s charge by 1.]
    [(40 – 80%) chance to seal enemy party’s skills for 1 turn.]
    [Decrease enemy party’s Buster resistance (20 – 40%) for 3 turns.]

    Noble Phantasm

    San Lorenzo del Escorial
The dusk of the crown shall not come, he is the one who will conquer all

    Type: Anti-World
    Rank: A
    Range: 999
    Maximum number of targets: —

The Royal Monastery of San Lorenzo del Escorial. The complex that Philip II ordered building after winning a battle against the French army. Its name comes from Saint Lawrence, a saint whose festivity was celebrated the same day the Spanish army won the battle, and a slagheap, as it was built over an abandoned mine. That mine was said to be so deep that its galleries reached Hell itself, what, together with the mysteries regarding the attitude of Philip II before his death, has covered the place with many legends.

Although this edifice still exists nowadays, a replica can be brought forth. Spanning an area of over 3 hectares, its grill-like structure is an unintentional reference to the grill in which Saint Lawrence was killed, and its original design was supposed to be a copy of Solomon’s temple. A proof of that is the presence of statues of David and Solomon above the entrance to the basilica.

The palace has been the tomb of almost all the Spanish kings and infants since its construction, and thus is one of the greatest symbols of royal authority in Spain. Felipe II, who not only ordered building it, but boasts of prestige as the ruler of the first worldwide empire, exerts his maximum authority in the domains of his palace, making him practically impossible to be opposed.

An Anti-World Noble Phantasm that doesn’t destroy the world, but that attempts to conquer it. It receives such classification from being the symbol of “the man who came closer to rule the world”.

    Demonio del Escorial
The time of downfall has come, he has been influenced by the dark

    Type: Summon
    Rank: E-~A+
Range: The proximity of the palace
    Maximum number of targets: Variable

Testimonies of attacks from the Devil that further increased the fame of El Escorial as an entry to Hell. Rather than a Noble Phantasm possessed by Felipe II himself, it would be more accurate to define this as San Lorenzo del Escorial’s very own Noble Phantasm. A pseudo-Noble Phantasm that could be called a Noble Phantasm’s Noble Phantasm.

Using rumors about the palace and its apparition in the current summoning as a basis, a demon can be summoned. Given that the summoning is based in the reputation as a demonic place, the strength of the demon depends on it. Should this Noble Phantasm be activated in the original palace or near it, the demon would manifest as a large mass of black smoke resembling a humanoid dog able to manipulate lightning, with an overall power of A. In addition, it’s possible to manifest scorching flames of great intensity without making the palace collapse, making usage of its grill-like structure to truly roast alive any enemy.

    Grande y Felicísima Armada
The time to crush all has come, he commands the great army

    Type: Anti-Army
    Rank:
    Range:
    Maximum number of targets:

The Spanish armada whose name was mockingly changed by the British as La Armada Invencible as a way to make their victory against it even more glorious. A fleet of 154 vessels with about 2,000 cannons, 8,050 sailors, 19,000 soldiers, and 2,088 oarsmen. Thanks to the administrative reforms introduced by Felipe II, even the name of every single cabin boy and ship was known, while the English weren’t even certain of the total number of ships in battle.

Felipe II doesn’t want to make use of this Noble Phantasm, as its defeat contributed to his defamation, so it remains sealed.

    Character
    Personality

Although great part of his character should have been inverted after becoming an Alter, he conserves his characteristic prudence and a strong religious faith. He may be evil now, but he still considers his actions are done for the sake of good. It may be paradoxical, but he is god-fearing and demonic at the same time.

His hatred that constitutes the foundation of the Avenger class is directed towards the kingdoms that defamed his empire. This makes him think that every other country thinks of him as evil, and that only the Spanish know they and their nation is not evil. Because of this and other reasons, he has come to the conclusion that if only those under his domain understand that the evil is only the result of rumors and gossips, then the only way for the world to see the truth must be by conquering it all.

    Treatment with the Master

In general he is suspicious of Masters that are from a different nation and automatically believes they are partially responsible of perpetuating his bad reputation. To Masters that are from his country or manage to earn his trust, he commands them as their ruler and wishes for them to accompany him in his journey to fulfill his goal.

    Dialogue examples

Bond 1: “You. You are not one of my people. I see, then it’s logical that you summoned me like this.”

Bond 2: “I must conquer all, defeat all, crush all. The only way to make the world see the truth is if it is under my rule. Don’t interfere.”

Bond 3: “Have you ever heard of ‘the black legend’? It’s a defamatory movement against my nation that has painted all of our history as evil. Everything, from the colonization of America to my armada that headed to Britain, was transfigured into works of the Devil itself. Even I myself am not safe from it. My revenge, my class of Avenger, is solely due to this mockery.”

Bond 4: “You. You are not one of my people. Nonetheless… I see… You may actually appreciate what I represent. I can see it in those eyes.”

Bond 5: “If you truly acknowledge our history as something that is not evil, then you surely must be in favor of my actions. Let us dominate everything together, Master.”

Likes: “A king that doesn’t love their nation is not a proper king. Indeed, I can see beauty on it that the rest of the world refuses to see. I see myself obligated to make them know what Spain truly is.”

Dislikes: “If you ask for something I hate, you surely must be asking about something personal. Otherwise you would be nothing but a fool. You must know then, that I despise filthiness. Even if it is the result of disease, I cannot tolerate seeing my body being dirty. Hm, besides that, it pains me to admit economics is far from being my forte.”

Wish for the Grail: “My only desire is to make the whole world know of the true nature of Spain. We are not evil, we are not brutes. If I have to trample everything in order to prove that, then so be it.”

    Personal data
    Historical depiction

The son of Carlos I of Spain and V of Germany, the Spanish king that made the nation reach its climax, but also started its downfall.

A king who experienced kingship before sitting on the throne, being in charge of administration whenever his father was busy with the conflicts on the Netherlands and Germany. After becoming the king, he received the territories of Castilla, Aragón, Naples, Sicily, and Milan, while his brother received the Holy Germanic Empire. Counting with territories in America, Africa, and Asia, Felipe’s empire became so large that he could safely say the sun never set in it. His marriage with Mary Tudor also made him consort king of England and Ireland, but the queen passed away soon, depriving him of control over those territories. His later victory in the battle of Alcántara allowed him to be king of Portugal as well, being the first king to rule the entire Iberian Peninsula.

During his reign, Felipe II made Madrid the new capital of Spain, Toledo having been the capital until then. The military forces, consisting on
The Greatest and Most Fortunate Army
    La Grande y Felicísima Armada
on the sea and the tercios on the earth, were the greatest of the epoch. However, the defeat of the armada against Britain, and the bad managing of the expenses caused the downfall of the empire, with Felipe having to declare bankrupt three times.

After he passed away, Felipe II had his image greatly distorted by his enemies, mainly by Britain, due to a movement known as “black legend”. The king was depicted as an extremely fanatic, despotic, criminal, imperialistic, and genocide person, whose victories were reduced to mere anecdotes and whose defeats were excessively magnified.

I'm busy with making a servant sheet and I'm not confident in my ability to do something like this so I'll leave to any one of you who'll take the challenge.

My proposal is Joan of Arc and not the one we know. This 'Joan' is actually a gestalt being made from the legends of those who were compared to Joan or given a title relating to her like '*Insert countries' Joan of Arc*
