    AGI: D
    MGI: B
    LCK: D
    NP: B

    Height: 187cm
    Weight: 150lbs
    Likes: Liberty, music, understanding
    Dislikes: Social order
    Talent: Playing guqin
    Natural Enemy: Qin Shi Huang
    Attribute: Sky
Traits: Male, Humanoid, Weak to Enuma Elish
    Armament: A guqin
Catalyst: A guqin, imbued with magic

    Class Skills:

Territory Creation B: The capacity to create an isolated territory that enhances Caster's powers. In his case, he tends to create his Workshop as a part of a forest.

Item Construction A: The capacity to produce items. At this rank, Caster can even produce restorative potions and materials.

    Personal Skills:

Heaven's Feathered Man B: Caster ascended to a Xian by the end of his life, playing an ultimate melody that granted him the true enlightenment he seeked. This skill naturally denotes his existence as a Xian, repelling interference to his physical state, as well as incorporating Divinity within it.

Seven Sages Of The Bamboo Grove A: Caster was one of the renowned Seven Sages of the Bamboo Grove, seven sages who fled the court and its traditions to the forests due to their dislike of traditions. This manifests as the capacity to "break free of traditions", ignoring Charisma and authority exertion skills at or below A rank.

On The Absence of Sentiment In Music B: The manifestation of Caster's skill with music, as well as the music books that he wrote. This manifests in his playing of the Guqin, from which he channels most of his magic, often emotion affecting magic. He can also utilize it to channel more physical magic, usually associated with the Five Elements.

    Noble Phantasm(s):

    Guanling Sang
    On The Souls Of Humanity

    Type: Anti-Unit
    Rank: C
    Range: 10 meters
    Max Targets: 1 target

The most famous song that Caster composed, supposedly inspired by the visitation of a wandering spirit. This noble phantasm allows Caster to invoke wandering spirits, using his music to stabilize them. He can then use them as scouts, sending them around. They are much less powerful than any servant, but in theory, they could also be used offensively to swarm an enemy target. At its maximum rank, Caster can bind a defeated enemy Servant, though this can't last for long.

    Zuihou Juechang
    On The Ephemerality Of Life

    Type: Anti-Army
    Rank: B
    Range: 50 meters
    Max Targets: 100 targets

The ultimate song Caster composed, only played at the moment of his death/ascension to a true Xian. A song of ascension that the World itself retaliates against. As Caster begins playing the song, the World attacks the surrounding areas, bombardments of lightning and fire, acid, earthquakes, lava, and so on cover the area around. Naturally, as soon as Caster stops, he reascends as a Xian, leaving the Holy Grail War for good, and as such this is only usable as a last try at victory.

Lore: Ji Kang (223-262) was one of the Seven Sages of the Bamboo Grove. He was a famous Guqin player, as well as a composer and an author. He was said to have ascended to the status of a Xian upon his death. Due to his rejection of government positions, he was sentenced to death despite the pleas of three thousand scholars. As he died, he played a final swan song, and then ascended to a Xian.

Personality: A serene and meditative person. He deeply cares about humanity. He utterly hates politics and manipulation, viewing it as something that is unnecessary and should not be done. He prefers to sit in nature and compose, constantly plucking his guqin. His wish for the Grail is to reincarnate and have more time.

    Relationships:

???: "Ah, my love! Welcome! Such a joy to see you again."

Qin Shi Huang: "Politics has crept even here, I see."

Wang Zhaojun: "Come. Sit with me. Let us compose."

Wanda Lankowska: "Plucking for keys to go down? Interesting. May I try?"

Anqi Sheng: "Penglai? Perhaps I should visit sometime."

Welp. Here he is. My first Watcher. and german too. i feel nervous about the thought of the germans in this forum seeing this but then again im just nervous in general so that's probably not saying much
The same old song and dance played out before you as you summoned yet another Servant.

However, instead of the flash revealing a human, or even animal, form. You see...

...your favorite toy from when you were just a child.

"Servant Watcher, here to answer your summonings. I am at your service,

Hmm? My form? Oh don't worry, I'm right here, Master. Yes, I'm the toy you see.

Hmm? Worried I'm stuck like this?

Ah, then don't. Here. I'll show you.

Before you knew it, instead of your childhood toy, an warm and fatherly man stood before you.

"There. Is that better for you?

Now come, Master. You have a mission to do, yes?

Then shall we play? I have some toys for you to try. I'm sure they will help in your endeavors to save humanity."

LESSON 1: The Tree Is Watered...Born in 1772 in Oberweißbach, Germany, Friedrich was the youngest of four sons to Johann Jacob Fröbel, a pastor of the town's parish. And while his childhood wasn't the harshest it could've been, it wasn't exactly easy either. His birth morther had died just nine months after she gave birth to him, and his step-mother, after previously treating him with warmth, turned her back on him as soon as her own child was born. He didn't make many friends in his town, many, including his parents, thinking him troublesome thanks to being awkward from a combination of naturally being quiet, running his mouth when he's interested or passionate, and having mixed results in schooling that confused others whether he was actually playing dumb or not, all of which was exasperated by him overthinking on what was the best thing to do. But despite that, he still had those who cared for him. His older brothers did their best to get along with him, and most notably his uncle took him in, taking him to his home in Stadtilm, where Friedrich discovered his everlasting love for nature thanks to the town, his uncle's garden, and being granted more freedom to roam.

As such he had no qualms when his father had him apprentice under a forester. But while Friedrich did enjoy the job, and in fact would catalogue each plant in the forest, his master was a poor teacher and soon enough he knew more than him. So he quit, hoping to study botany more, but thanks to the forester's attempts at a scheme, his parents thought he was irresponsibly leaving in a fit of rage. Though he managed to convince them of his innocence thanks to his brother and his side project, he still ended up stuck in his father's house. It was only when he went to Jena to deliver money to one of his brothers did he get the chance to study again, only on the conditions that he study banking, get a trustee since he was a seventeen year old minor, and a place to stay.

He didn't get to finish his school as, after lending money to help one of his brothers, the money couldn't be paid back in time and Friedrich was jailed, his father not helping unless the conditions he set were fulfilled and his trustee not wanting to fulfill them. While his father eventually gave in and bailed him, and his time in prison wasn't wasted since he still managed to study some things, he was dispirited from missing the chance to finish his course and being stuck at his father's house yet again. But soon enough, he bounced back, a book from his father's library inspiring him and he made piles and piles of notes. So of course his father sent him to take another job, this time a farmer.

Friedrich didn't like that one either. But before he could quit, his father's health failed and he went home to take care of him. Thanks to this, when his father died, any ill will he had was gone and he had no guilt when he went to do as he wanted, doing multiple and various jobs to make ends meet as well as find one that satisfied him. It was when he was considering becoming an architect to fulfill both when he got news from his brother: his uncle was dead. Unlike his father, his heart shattered at the fact, but like with his death, Friedrich moved on. With a little encouragment from his eldest brother, he was galvanized to pursue architecture and did all he could to break into the field. But with the help of a friend, he took teaching jobs on the side, having had on-and-off experience doing so over the years, and when that friend introduced him to one Herr Gruner, he took one look at Friedrich and said,

"Give up architecture; it is not your vocation at all. Become a teacher. We want a teacher in our own school. Say you agree, and the place shall be yours."

LESSON 2: The Form of My Vessel

    Class Skills

    Watcher B

"A skill that lets me watch over you. You and others may think I am not there, but I am, and I am on your side. I wish to see you grow."
The class skill of Watcher servants, marking the special contract between them and their master. This typically means they can materialize in unorthodox forms and evade detection, for that is the mark of a watcher: an observer to a conflict.
Fröbel has a rank that might seem surprisingly high for some, but as the founder of an education approach of teaching very young children, like how childhood experiences, both good and bad, can be unnoticed for years, Fröbel too is a mere
    gardener
    observer
    tending to his
    garden
    Master
thanks to the connection to childhood. As such, he mainly manifests as whatever is his Master's favorite childhood toy, whether it be electrical or analog, but unlike the toy, he is perfectly capable of moving around in this form. Should his Master not have any precious object from childhood, then instead he will take the form of an object or toy that would give them the most comfort. Though he can change into his actual human form, he tries to only do it when he feels he needs to defend his Master himself.

    Territory Infringement B

"Hmm. The name is not so nice because what I am able to do with it isn't so nice normally. However, if it means helping you face villains and gods, then I will use it to help you. With but my will, I can make sure others think you are no threat to them and anything stopping us from entering will let us in."
A skill denoting ability to bypass security measures, both mundane and supernatural, of territories. This is typically held by figures specialized in infiltration.
The kindergarten, despite having been suppressed and delayed for various reasons, ended up spreading worldwide regardless of those attempts thanks to the efforts of his family, friends and pupils. And with that, not only had it influenced later innovators in education, but entire generations of people's childhoods. As such, Fröbel is able to grant his Master the ability to bypass areas because of being considered by both guards and security measures as "safe for children", and thus, "safe for adults" as well, essentially tricking others that they are no threat. He is also able to apply this effect to himself if need be.

LESSON 3: The Form of My Soul

    Personal Skills

    Expert of Many Specializations A

"Much of my knowledge and skills condensed into one, well, Skill to encompass them. This includes, but is not limited to: mathematics, geography, crystology, land surveying, several languages, and, my personal favorite, botany. If it were all indivdual skills, it would be overwhelming, and besides, while I excelled in them, I was only truly a pioneer in education."
A skill denoting the user's many professions and fields of knowledge to the point that having them as separate skills would
    be going overboard on abilities
add too much load on the Saint Graph.

Fröbel was an avid learner of the natural world, and paired with his stubbornness and passion meant he rarely didn't stop at "passing knowledge". As such, if one were to rank his knowledge, he has, at minimum, C ranked, on average B ranked, and some at A ranked in how much he knows in each field. Those fields/skills are: mathematics, physics, geology (crystallography and minerology), geometry, forestry, architecture, aboriculture, botany, land surveying, accounting, marksmanship, swordsmanship, and language (French, Latin, Greek, and German, with a little Arabic, Hebrew and Sanskrit but not fluent). So he is essentially able to teach many topics, with notable skills in things relating to building things, handling plants, and categorizing land.

    Human Observation B+

"My ability to look at others and figure out their character. If I couldn't understand how a mind would learn, then how was I supposed to teach the mind new things? Especially children, who saw the world differently than adults or even teenagers."
A skill denoting the user's ability to observe and understand people.
As the founder of Kindergarten, something he created when he observed how children learned, his rank is rather high. At this rank, he is able to easily guess another person's character after some time meeting them, and even make assessments of childhood that jave a high chance of being right should he spend even more time with them. Of course, this skill works even better against children, or when he is specifically figuring out another person's "learning style" as they call it.

LESSON 4: The Culmination of My Work

    Noble Phantasms

    Fröbel's Gifts
    Fröbelgaben
    Learn Through Play

    Rank:
    EX
    Type: Anti-Unit (Self);
Anti-Army (Self) (when Second Noble Phantasm is released)

"My creation, my gift. With this, I can bring out yours. Don't worry. You don't have to do much. All you need to do is play with them, and the rest should come naturally."

In his time, he created something to help teach lessons in Kindergarten. A group of toys that, with each set, grew more and more complex, but still kept the play engaging as the child learned from interacting with it.
    These are "Fröbel's Gifts".
Though they appear as mere yarn balls and block boxes, their function is anything but.
As someone who believed in "learning through play", these toys made by Fröbel himself embody that very idea, and as a Watcher, instead of being a "teacher that imparts their skills to their student", he is a "teacher who brings out the skills they already have".
When he creates a Gift, he can grant it to his Master and essentially give a "skill tree" through a "key item". With the tier one gift, it grants them "low rank" or "low quality" versions of whatever talents or skills they have in Servant Skill forms. Like those with good eyesight are granted Clairvoyance D or those with experience in art are granted Appreciation of Arts D. Once they have Mastered tier one, they are granted access to tier two, which is usually either high ranks of previous skills or "upgrades" with extra effects, as well as boosts in their "parameters" to outright use them. The only limit the person's
    skill lv. caps
    own talents
    , how quickly they
    gain exp.
    can learn,
and how much mana they can give to support both Fröbel and the skills they gain. They don't have to worry about being unable to gain Skills should they lose a Gift, for Fröbel will just replace it, while he himself
    acts as a save file
    records his Master's progress.

This Noble Phantasm is only able to bestow skills on his Master.

With a True Name release of his second Noble Phantasm however...

"Come, my youngest child... To keep your sibling in heart safe...your father asks for your help..."

    Children's Garden
    Kindergarten
    Your Gifts Made Manifest

    Rank:
    A
    Type: Anti-Army (Self)

    His wish come true...

    His crowning achievement...

    His youngest child.

Since he started teaching, he had been frustrated with teaching methods known at the time, and so he created his own, and after years and years, he created it and it eventually spread across the world.

Upon True Name release, if he is not already in his human form, returns to it before forming a Bounded Field around him in the appearance a wide opem garden with various beautiful plants and a playground. It starts out at around 93 m2 / 1000 sq. feet, but just as in life, this area will steadily expand for as long as Fröbel wills it and has enough mana to fuel the expansion and keep it that size. While it does little to stop anyone from leaving or coming into the area, that is not its purpose.

Like an area made through Territory Creation, this territory is advantageous to the Servant, but unlike the usual territory affects the Servant itself, where it differs is that it is advantageous to Watcher's wish to teach.

    This leads to several effects.

For his Master, they are now able to access tier three skills, which is the highest possible ranks of whatever skills they have, even further upgraded skills, or, in some cases, Unique Personal Skills, and with it, they are also granted a Servant Class that suits them best. Once again, the limits from before still apply even at this tier.

As this is a place of growth, so long as he, his Master and any would-be allies are within it, attempts at debuffing their parameters are either resisted or outright rebuffed, along with any attempts at restricting their movement.

Now that his Students aren't limited to just his Master, but anyone who are allies within his garden, it allows him to use his first Noble Phantasm on others, humans, even non-Masters, and Servants alike. In the case of the former, all the effects are still the same, while for the latter, it works similarly. Specifically, any current skills they have, if ranked, are raised up by one, and, as long as there are no special conditions to prevent it, it allows Servants to access their Skills from any alternate Classes they have.

    That includes himself.

"My apologies, Master, but I wish to step in.
Normally I would let you do it yourself so that you may learn your lessons and take the credit. But...
I'd rather stop the lesson and restart from scratch.
Then lose you and end the lesson for good."

    Second Ascension

While he is nothing close to the powerhouse heroes with incredible feats, that won't mean he won't use his Noble Phantasm to fight as best he can.

"What kind of teacher would I be if I'm not willing to lay down my life to defend you?
What kind of father would I be if I do not defend my children?"

Through Fröbelgaben, he enhances the skills he had from his time as a soldier as well as picking and choosing when to make
    a generic subsumed skill
    an individual skill
from Expert of Many Specializations into
    a Personal Skill
    a seperate skill
of a high rank. Because of it being his territory, though not as great as a proper fame boost, being within Kindergarten grants Fröbel a noticeable boost to all his parameters barring Luck. With these, at best, he is
    a medium rarity Servant
an average Servant in terms of combat
, but considering how little he actually he did when he participated in a war, he considers it an accomplishment.

All these effects, save any Class his Master might gain during the duration of its activation, disappear when the Noble Phantasm is dispelled.

Of course, with a Noble Phantasm with these capabilities, the costs of maintaining it vary wildly depending on how big he makes the area, how many allies he has, how many skills his Master is using and many other factors. But in general, in its minimum size and accounting for just himself and his Master using Fröbelgaben, he is able to deploy it about three to six times for five to ten minutes, depending on the mana from his Master and the leylines, as the Kindergarten isn't something that is "beyond the world of man" and as such doesn't degrade as quickly as some Noble Phantasms nor does it need that much mana to delpoy and maintain. But the bigger it gets, the longer it stays, and the more skills he uses and gives to his Master specifically, the more it'll cost. The effects of Fröbelgaben on Servants don't cost mana beyond the initial "casting" as the skills are being maintained by the Servants themselves, so instead they have to consider if gaining skills from their other classes are worth it.

LESSON 5: ...And Now It Bears Fruit

He hesitated, but eventually accepted teaching for a fortnight at Gruner's school, and he was opened up to Pestalozzi's methods of teaching. He was gripped by them and so, when his tenure was done, his side job became his main job, as he took in three pupils and became a lesson planner as well as an educator in another school. With that, Friedrich built up his experience in teaching even more...as well as his frustrstions with his lack of knowledge in education and current methods in teaching very young children.

So after briefly serving in an infantry division in the Lützow Free Corps during the Napoleonic Wars,
"for what teacher would I be if I wasn't willing to lay down my life for the home of the children I would teach?", and making three lifelong friends, he set to return to university to learn and eventually create his own model. That didn't go as planned, as usual with his formal schooling, as soon enough, he ended up caring for multiple children, including his orphaned nephews. Giving up his professorship in minerology, he moved to Keilhau, buying out a farm for them to live and for him to teach them. He wasn't alone in caring for them for long though. With so many children, he unsurprisingly thought of marriage, and thanks to his friends, he found the woman whom he had thought to propose. And so, a year after he moved, Henrietta Wilhelmine Hoffmeister, moved into Keilhau with her adopted daughter and married Friedrich.

He wouldn't make much progress for a long while, between more of his family moving in with him, taking care of their children, and finding funds for both family life and his projects, even as he slowly built and refined his new teaching methods. He broke off a possible arrangement with the Duke of Meiningen when he saw the schemes of the nobles around him trying to ruin him, the offer from a man named Schnyder was eventually given back because he wouldn't let them build a proper schoolhouse and wanted them to use his castle, and though businessmen from Willisau helped established a school in the town, the clergy weren't receptive to them, first outwardly then secretly saying their discontent, even after Friedrich and his friends endeared themselves to the townsfolk. The most they did was him and his wife was establish an orphanage. It wasn't until 1837 did he finally establish his Kindergarten in Blankenburg.

But at that point, his wife's health had taken a turn for the worse, and she died in 1839. From there, even though his stubbornness and passion for teaching meant he didn't stay still for long, as he went and continued spread his Kindergarten, and even remairred yet another fellow teacher in 1851...perhaps his spirit was slowly dwindling. Because when 1851 came, after the suppression of the German revolutions of 1848-1849, his Kindergartens were banned, and instead of picking himself back up as had always done, but a year later, Friedrich Fröbel died in 1852.

That, however, wasn't the death of Kindergarten. Thanks to the efforts of teachers he had taught, his family, and his friends, they continued to teach and spread it across the world. Kindergarten was established in America, then spread to Britain, and then even more parts of the world. Until, eventually, it has become known across the world as not just specifically his method of teaching, but a period in one's education during the early stages of childhood.

LESSON 6: The Shape of My Nature

    Personality:
For someone who had created Kindergarten and deals with children, Fröbel is probably...less ideal than expected for some, but maybe completely expected for the more cynical.

Fröbel is a very stubborn man, staying true to convictions despite people discouraging his dreams. On the bright side it means he will work his damn ass off to make an outcome come true, but in consequence, it is often to the point of being prone to blaming external factors should any of his endeavors fail, especially when it involves his teaching methods. This can come off especially hypocritical when he actually believes that there is always truth in both sides and how, typically, he is very self-reflective and thus usually aware of his own faults and strengths. Thus he often doesn't realize he is being unnecessarily stubborn. That coupled with his tendency to ramble and yet taking time to form his words makes it hard to talk to him because he's going either too fast or too slow. And when he does break his usually quiet demeanor and gets mad, his temper matches his stubbornness: a fiery rage that has little in the way of being put out.

And yet this is the man who saw life and saw that everything was connected. He believed in God and yet also believed in the pantheons of other cultures. And most of all, he saw children and realized the important of such a stage, and with his love for nature, sought to make a garden to cultivate a child's "God given gifts". This is the man, who, at the end of the day, laid new foundations not just for education, but influenced art and architecture. So it's no surprise when it comes to children, he treats them with the utmost respect and care. He plays with whatever games they play, takes what they say very seriously even when most wouldn't, and corrects whenever they do anything harmful to themselves or others but making sure it is in such a way that is best suited to the child. He also teaches them as best suited to their style and encourages whatever talents, big and small, they may have. And while said flaws are still present, with his love for children and teaching, he is more willing to admit his flaws, not wanting to be the cause of any detriment to their growth, just as he had experienced when he grew up.

Because, at his core, Fröbel is a passionate and idealistic man with a love for nature. Everything he does, he puts in his all. Whether that be his job, his interests, or his role as a Servant. So should he consider someone as a friend, family, or child, he will do his best to treat them well, and defend them with all the force of a papa wolf...with probably dulled fangs. This is when one can see his endless curiosity, always liking to learn whether through books or actually going out and seeing things for himself, and his wish to see others be the best they can be, whoever that may be. So unsurprisingly, he is quite happy at being a Servant, not only seeing it as more opportunities to continue his calling but proof of his belief that all of life is connected was true with him knowing that the Root is real. But he is incredibly picky about his Masters. For the average magus, he would immediately attempt to, perhaps stupidly, advise them to cease and desist any practices that harm others in their pursuit for the Root, and should that fail, he will immediately desummon himself. Should the magus be a child, and a kind or decent child at that, he will immediately adopt them and get them out of the family somehow. He'll make it work. Otherwise, he is open to a majority of Good Masters and some Neutral ones, but works best with children, wanting to see his Master grow into a fine person. In the case of Chaldea, he absolutely revels in it. It's like a kid in a candy store. So much of the world's greatest minds are here, and he will drink it all up. Especially those involved with nature, particularly plants. In case you forget, he is a plant fanboy.

    Wish
"My wish? What I wished for have already been granted, even if it wasn't in my lifetime. ...but if I can be selfish... I want my wives to be remembered as much as I am. Henrietta, my first wife, for being by my side while we struggled to establish my Kindergarten. And Luise, my second, who also shared my dream along with Henrietta, and kept it alive after my death, alongside our friends...even though our time together was cut short... ...so, so short... I feel they are both due such recognition."

LESSON 7: The Connections with All

    Relationships

    Master
    Bond 1:
"Hello Master. Let us begin our lessons."

    Bond 5:

    Third Ascension
"Hmm. I wonder what lessons I can teach with these toys... Ah! Master! My apologies for not noticing you. You have some more video game recommendations for me? Ah, splendid! Thank you very much. But how about, since you're here... Let us just play for the enjoyment of it, yes? Here. You pick this time."

    Mash (Shielder)
"Hello little Mash. What would like to learn today? Or better yet, what games do you wish to try?"

    Hans Christian Andersen
"Erg. Such caustic words... Fine fine, I get it I get it. I am a stubborn man who gets very narrow minded when I am obssessed with something. I'm trying okay? Ugh...this is embarassing..."
(Ironically enough, because Hans' form is that of a child, Fröbel treats him more as an equal and an adult than should he have been in adult form. That also means he takes Hans' criticisms of him better than if another adult else said it to him)

    Voyager
"Wait, that Voyager? He's so...adorable! And yet he is so resilient. You have my respect, young one, for being such a beacon of inspiration and hope. But while you are here... How about we play some games? Are there any you've seen but have yet to try out?"

    Paul Bunyan (Berserker)
"Ah, a fellow forester I see. You probably do not need it but...perhaps I can assist you? At the very least, I can scout the area to see what of it you can chop down."

    Asterios (Berserker)
"...I see... The 'monster in the maze'... Or rather what people thought he was. I can't help but see him as just as human as anyone else... And a child that has suffered much. He likes flowers, yes? Excuse me. I'll go and teach him how to garden. I know I can figure out a way for even him to do it."

    Napoleon (Archer)
"Ah, if it isn't the man who had threatened my homeland... I will admit, any distaste I have is largely gone because well... I must ask. Why does he have a giant cannon that can shoot rainbows? Hmm? Granter of wishes? ...I see... I may not like him, but I can at least respect this version of him."

    Scáthatch (Lancer)
"... I don't like her general attitude with teaching, but I will not deny the results she has with her methods. On some level, I understand and respect it. I wouldn't have appreciated the training I had to take as a soldier for nothing. But I wouldn't have created kindergarten if I thought that was the best way for all children. In essence, she is a specialized mentor, I am a general nurturer. She has her students adapt to her methods, I adapt my teaching methods to my students."

    Chiron (Archer)
"Ha...another teacher I am similarly mixed on... I will admit, I like his demeanor more than the Warrior of the Isle of Skye, but my sentiments are the same. Even if he is more adaptable in his teaching methods than her, he is still a mentor for warriors and heroes. ...I just don't like how extreme their training regimens are, okay? I understand it's needed for a time like theirs, but I want children to be...children. Let them play and grow and enjoy their youth."

Eleanor of Aquitaine Lily (Binder) (BnEl15)
"Hmm? Am I a widower? Hmm. I guess you could say that. Especially since I know neither of my wives are recorded on the Throne. Why do you ask? Huh? Am I open to a new romantic partner...? Oh! You mean a new 'girlfriend' or 'wife'? Hmm, I suppose I wouldn't mind if I happen to fall in lo— Wait. Where are you going, young lady? Huh? Off to 'find someone to ship me with'? Shipping? Wait... Oh that. As in 'relationshipping'. ...Oh dear... I believe I just set off a missile and I didn't even know it..."

    Garshāsp (Berserker) (Morg can Destro)
"Oh! Kərəsāspa! Er, apologies, King Garshasp. Or should it be Queen...? Er, never mind, I will stick with King. Ah, either way... I am more familiar with your name from the Zend-Avesta. Er... Ahem. Uh..."
(It seems he has difficulty with Garshāsp's scary aura. However...)
"Ahem. I hear you like philosophy and some such. Er, uh, um... I am no philosopher, but I can't help but be curious of you because of what I read in the Zend-Avesta, which had affirmed much of beliefs of some kind of unity across life."
(...if it wasn't obvious by now, he is a stubborn man)

    Jeremy Bentham (Watcher) (BnEl15)
"Hmm, I think I heard of you when I was alive, but was likely too busy with my work and children to actually notice. Nevertheless, as a teacher, well pedagogue to be specific...but anyways! As a fellow teacher, and a fellow Watcher, I would like to see your teaching methods, Mister Bentham."

    Karl May (Assassin) (DesReploid)
"Hmm, why is it I had not heard of you when I lived...? Oh, I see... You reached your fame after my death. I see. Well then. That just means I must read your books, Herr May. Do you have any recommendations on which to read first? Oh! Even better. Which ones heavily feature the natural landscapes of the American West? I quite like nature you see."

    Methuselah (Tree) (Watcher) (RoydGolden)
"Wait you...you... AAAIIIIYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! Ahem. Sorry sorry sorry! I did not mean to be so loud! I just... I just... You are a tree! And I can speak to you! And-and-and-"
(It takes a bit for the plant fanboy to be calm enough to actually talk)
"Ah, my apologies. What I mean is... I am so happy to meet you. I... Well perhaps you do know already, but I will say so in case you do not. I love nature, especially flora. And to know of your existence as a Servant... Your want for nature and man to be in harmony... I can't help but feel joy for I share similar sentiments. So, if it isn't a bother...may I get to know you? I hope we can be friends."

LESSON 8: The Core of My SoulBond Craft Essence

The Bloomed Flower In Its Garden

    It was a normal day.

He had just finished his lessons with his students for the day, deciding to spend his leisure in one of the gardens in his home. But just as he turned another page, he heard a very familiar pitter-patter and smiled.

    "Uncle! Uncle!"

    "Father! Father!"

    "What are you doing?"

    "I'm reading a story."

"Oh! Can you tell us? Can you tell us?"

"Are you sure? It is not like the fairy tales and nursery rhymes I tell you at school."

    "Pleeaaaaaase!"

    The bright smiles.

    The curious gazes.

    The excited demeanors.

It was hard not to smile back and say,

"Very well. Then make sure to listen then, okay?"

    "Okay!"

And so the teacher and father told a story to his students and children.

Just as he was always meant to do.

    Author's Notes
Did I make him broken? Did I make his Noble Phantasms too powerful for his types of feats? I hope not, but I have no clue. But if I did...sorry. I just thought not only it'd be unique, but considering his personality, though he a support type Servant, he would want to have a way to fight even if it's not much, so that's why I let him basically "upgrade" himself whenever Kindergarten is deployed.

Ahem. But I got ahead of myself. This sheet.

My mom's a teacher, and I like to think a pretty damn good one at that, so I'm fond of teachers. So I thought I'd make one for prominent figures in education. I may or may not make more later on (and thus more Watchers unless I think of different Classes), but for now, Fröbel's the first I ran into that I got inspired to make.

I was unsatisfied with the wikipedia page, largely because it was sparse on info and it didn't give me much to make a personality. So I went and read "Autobiography of Friedrich Fröbel translated and annotated by Emilie Michaelis" which can be read on and downloaded from gutenberg. With that, I got a better picture to actually write out his history and form his personality. However, because it's "cut off" before he actually makes kindergarten, details of his life closer to his death are sparser, and thus it lead to how I wrote his lore sections for this sheet. Also just because I was in the mood for it. As for his personality, while I am happy with what I decided after I read it, I'm not sure if I conveyed it too well... Mainly the "talks a lot but can take time to say it sometimes" part. You see I was basically trying to incorporate the part in the book that basically says "he wasn't actually good at talking with people or conveying his ideas" without losing the pattern of speech I gave him in Guess-A-Servant. So it ended up as "you see he can speak well it's just you might have a hard time either keeping up with him, waiting for him to speak, or just his general stubbornness and temper".

As usual, I hope the technical side is fine. Especially "Expert of Many Specializations" and his Noble Phantasms. I wasn't sure what exactly to list and how to list them for the former so hopefully it doesn't seem overboard or something. For the latyer, Fröbelgaben was originally a skill, but then I decided to make it an NP when it ended up being "gives master a skill tree". As I said for Kindergarten, I hope it's reasonable, or at least makes sense. Again, with how Fröbel is, though he is a teacher, he would be willing to use all at his disposal, and learn to add to that disposal, to actually fight instead of just being a mere observer. If you have any suggestions for changes, I'm more than happy to consider them. Speaking of changes though, I had originally thought of making him a Gatekeeper since his whoke schtick is teaching, then tought of actually using Wyvern's Extra Class, Teacher, but then found in DelRey's Extra Class comp about the interpretations of Watcher being either being a teacher and/or a surveillance class. And so Fröbel ended up a Watcher.

You probably noticed there are more images and colors to this sheet. Well, ai though that, since he's the founder of Kindergarten, that I'd in turn make the sheet more colorful and visually engaging just like a kindergarten. So yeah.

There are a lot of details from the autobiohraphy I couldn't outright mention in the sheet. Like the fact that he read the Avesta during his brief stint in prison, hence his interaction with the short queen, or that he calls Kindergarten his child because of this line from the book, "Oh if only I could think of a suitable name for my youngest born!" But it was either that, or brea the narrative flow for what I wrote. So I decided to just add them in when I could outside the lore.

I also wanted to add more to the relationships, but after going nuts of Ywain's, I wanted to keep it to a minimum.

    Aaaand...I think that's it. I think.
I probably forgot something else I wanted to mention but eh. If I do remember, I'll edit it in later. I'm definitely glad to finish him. Took shorter than I expected it to (definitely shorter than Ywain's overall, by virtue of not having been as delayed as it).

Nice, he's a pretty unique Watcher, and I love his leveling/skill tree NP, as well as the soldier "twist" near the end.

The more I read his personality, the more I realize he'd fit an Uramichi Oniisan fc with some gifs from the series for added shitpost factor, but that's just me. Maybe I'll find a different educator to use him in. One day...

I thought it was fine. Also, surprisingly no dialogue towards the old school teachers of Chiron and Scathach.

    END: E
    AGI: B
    MGI: D
    LCK: C
    NP: B

    Height: 165cm
    Weight: 140lbs
    Likes: Travelers, consumption
    Dislikes: Overly brave people
    Talent: Being a spider
    Natural Enemy: Louis XI
    Attribute: Earth
Traits: Humanoid, Female, Weak to Enuma Elish
    Armament: Spider silk
Catalyst: A shrine to a Jorugumo

    Class Skills:

Presence Concealment C: The capacity for Assassin to blend into the surrounding landscape.

    Personal Skills:

Seduction B: Assasin was an extremely charming entity, and numerous people fell in love with her in her human form. As such, this manifests as a skill naturally held by her. A constant charm spell exerted by her very presence and her every action. However, naturally this isn't extremely powerful.

Spider's Strings A: Her webs, which were quite strong and easily capable of pulling her targets in with her. These webs are her primary weapons, latching onto targets and swinging them into things, or trapping them in net-like webs, or even just using the webs akin to a spear. They are produced out of her hands and legs.

Spider's Venom A: The poison that she had the capacity of exuding at will in life. This poison naturally sticks with her, amplifying her every blow. However, as a Servant, it tends to be more powerful in her nails and her teeth before she enters Jorugumo form. Also, this poison, as a poison, can be weakened by resistance.

    Noble Phantasm(s):

    Abduction Kachisobuki
In My Grasp, You Shall Never Escape

    Type: Anti-Unit
    Rank: N/A
    Range: 20 meters
    Max Targets: 1 target

A gestalt noble phantasm, an overclocking of Spider's Strings. As in her legend, Assassin targets a single target, releasing countless long strings towards them from a long distance and pulling them drastically towards her. These strings, naturally as spider silk, are extremely sticy and hard to escape, causing them to arrive next to her and wrapped up in thread.

    Jorugumo
    The Spider Within

    Type: Anti-Unit (Self)
    Rank: B
    Range: 0 meters
    Max Targets: 1 target

The true noble phantasm of Assassin. When the true name is called, her human shell is shed and she returns to her true form as a Jorugumo. In this state, her webs and her poisons are massively overclocked, although her seduction is weakened. In addition, her statistics increase, in particular endurance.

Lore: Jorugumo was a famous Spider yokai from Japanese folktales. She tended to manifest to people as a beautiful and charming woman. However, her true form was that of a Yokai whose top half is that of a woman and whose bottom half is a spider. She constantly grabbed people and dragged them into her lair.

Personality: A charming and elegant person. She loves to charm all those around her. However, in her case this is merely a trap, for if you've been charmed by her she will tend to spirit you away through her first Noble Phantasm. If you see through it, she will reveal herself to be a much more jaded person. Shunned by the villagers, she yearned for human attention. But when she tried to meet people, they ended up dying. So she locked herself away, periodically bringing someone else in to meet.

    Relationships:

Louis XI: "Ah, yes, yes, oh king. Come. Join me."

Lola Montez: "Your technique could use a bit of work."

Hossiadam: "So you murdered countless people? Join the club."

Ikkyu: "...You see me, huh? Interesting."

Creator's Notes: Frobel is quite nice!

    Defender of Bulgaria

Berserker is here. Don't be afraid, I will protect you

    Class: Berserker
    True Name: Krum the Terrible
    Alignment: Lawful Evil
    Place of Origin: Bulgaria
    Armament: Sword and Skullcup

    STR — B
    END — B
    AGL — C
    MGI — C
    LCK — C
    NP — B

    Class skills:

    Mad Enhancement C

The Class Skill that characterizes a Berserker, raising basic parameters and strengthens one's physical abilities in exchange of hindering mental capacities and/or in exchange for their sense of reason. Rank up for all parameters, but most of one's reason is robbed.

Berserker retains his sanity, but in combat he often goes into an insane rage, often ignoring his wounds.

    Personal skills:

    Demonic Defender of State B

This the capacity of a Servant to mark a region as his personal dominion by securing the surrounding leylines prior to an engagement

All Berserker's actions were aimed at protecting Bulgaria from Byzantium, his campaign against Constantinople was almost successful.

Byzantium has fallen, but Bulgaria is standing. They still remember my covenants

    Military Tactics C

Tactical knowledge used not for one-on-one combat situations, but for battles where many are mobilized. Bonus modifiers are provided during use of one's own Anti-Army Noble Phantasm or when dealing against an enemy Anti-Army Noble Phantasm. Berserker was a very successful commander who almost took the capital of Byzantium, if not for his sudden

Watch and learn. I bet you still have to fight

    Innocent Monster C

An attribute possessed by Servants whose true history and existence have been distorted by the monstrous reputations and gossips they accrued across the course of their life and thereafter, without concern for the actual person's will or appearance. As a consequence, the Servant's abilities and appearance have been rendered to conform to the specifications of their legend.

Berserker was demonized by the Byzantines, for whom he was a bloodthirsty barbarian. This affected his behavior, in any case, he is not averse to drinking enemy blood.

There is nothing better than the blood of the enemy running down your face

    Noble Phantasm:

    Череп от Върбишкия проход
    Sign to the Byzantines
    B

Crystallization of Berserker's military campaign against Byzantium, as well as his murder of the ruler of Constantinople in battle.

It is a skull cup that Berserker likes to drink from. When activated, the chalice fills with blood and then shoots a fountain of blood into the sky.

If the activation was during the day, then a solar eclipse will begin. From the blood that has fallen to the ground, the dead will begin to rise - that is the Byzantine army killed by Berserker. Their leader, Nikephoros I, is also part of this NP, he is a headless dead man. This army of Dead Apostles is strong, but has one drawback - they are difficult to manage. As a rule, they rush at any living person or servant, ignoring the Berserker. However, he knows how to use these dead most effectively.

    Description:

Likes: War trophies, Bulgaria, drink blood
    Dislikes: Byzantium
Natural Enemy: Nikephoros I, Leo the Armenian

Berserker’s True name is Crum the Terrible, khan of the Bulgarians, who inflicted one of the most famous defeats of Byzantium.

Krum can be called a real barbarian by the principle of life - he is noisy, loves to feast, fight and has hobbies that can shock a resident of the 21st century. However, he is quite resourceful and savvy, especially when it comes to war. He can be a scumbag, especially when facing the Byzantines.

    Relations:

Basileios II — Bulgar-slayer? Well, I'll have two skulls - I'll drink from this, and I'll piss in yours!

    Lancer of Money

Servant Lancer is here. Even though I'm weak... but I'll do my best

    Class: Lancer
    True Name: Elena Glinskaya
    Alignment: Lawful Good
Place of Origin: Grand duchy of Moscow
    Armament: her Noble Phantasm

    STR — C
    END — D
    AGL — C
    MGI — C
    LCK — D
    NP — C

    Class skills:

    Magic Resistance(D)

Provides protection from magical effects. Unlike the resistance effect, which simply rejects magical energy, this ability completely cancels spells.

Lancer has never encountered magic, so this skill gives her a class container.

    Personal skills:

    Noble Phantasm:

    Weak Constitution A

It is a weakness struck by the nature of frail health. Similar in nature to Innocent Monster, where the perception of the people in the future affects the existence of the Heroic Spirit. Lancer is accompanied by the risk of a sudden status drop at anytime of every action. The probability of risk is not high, but when it is invoked in combat, it is immense. Lancer was poisoned with mercury for a long time, so much so that her entire skeleton was saturated with this substance. In the state of a servant, she is weak in combat, but if she is wounded, the attacker herself can get mercury poisoning.

My curse in life... but now it's useful

    Innovations — Money C

The first centralized monetary reform in Russia, initiated and led by Lancer. As a result of this transformation, a unified system of monetary circulation of the Lancer state was created, which underwent various changes over the next centuries, but on the whole retained unity and stability. This became an objective positive factor in the political and economic development of the Russian state. As a result of the reform, a decisive step was taken towards the final unification of the monetary system of the unified Russian state.

In essence, this skill is akin to the Golden Rule, however, it allows you not only to accumulate wealth, but to deal with money. We can say that Lancer was created to work as a banker.

Hmm... that sounds like a pretty good deal to me. Money never be redundant

    Noble Phantasm

    Копейка
    Spear’s Money
    C

Kopeyka, a coin that was introduced by Lancer. This coin got its name due to the fact that a rider with a spear (kopye in Russian) was minted on it, which gives Lancer the opportunity to be in this class

It is a spear without a point. This is not a melee weapon, and Lancer does not know how to fight. However, this spear can disintegrate into hundreds of coins, whose flight Lancer can control. Spear points can come out of these coins. Although this weapon is not the most powerful, Lancer knows how to use it. She can also disguise these coins as banknotes of different countries. Never put these coins in your back pocket!

    Description:

    Likes: Quiet life, son
    Dislikes: boyars

Lancer’s True name is Elena Glinskaya, mother and regent of Ivan the Terrible. It was her death that inflicted severe mental trauma on the young king.

Glinskaya is a wise, but somewhat tired woman, grieving for her beloved Vanya. She does not like schemers who poisoned her life - and literally - and therefore it is not a good idea to start intrigues behind her back.

    Relations

Ivan the Terrible — Vanya... my beloved son... what happened to you? Forgive me... I couldn't save you from those scoundrels.

    Class: Avenger
    Other Classes: N/A
    True Name: Taira no Tokuko
    Alignment: True Neutral
Place of Origin: Japan (12th Century)
    Stars: 3/5

    Parameters:

    STR: D
    END: B
    AGI: D
    MGI: D
    LCK: C
    NP: B

    Height: 165cm
    Weight: 130lbs
    Likes: Peace, living happily
    Dislikes: War
    Talent: Serving as empress
    Natural Enemy: Minamoto-no-Tamemoto
    Attribute: Man
Traits: Female, Humanoid, Weak to Enuma Elish
Armament: A Chigiriki staff, a Kiseru battle pipe, and a Tessen hand fan
    Catalyst: The waters of Dan-no-Ura

    Class Skills:

Avenger D: Grudges were rarely heaped upon her, so Avenger has a low rank of the eponymous class skill.

Oblivion Correction B: An unyielding will that will never forget. The battles, the floods, the deaths... Avenger will forever fight for the sake of undoing all of those things.

Self-Replenishment (Mana) C: Her mana will perpetually surge for the sake of returning to those happy days once again.

    Personal Skills:

Moon on the Mountain C: The famous poem that Avenger wrote in her late life, discussing the tragedy of what happened and how she wishes she was back at the palace with her family and not on the mountain. This manifests in the form of glowing light that envelops her. This light gives her enemies the feeling of reminiscence, causing them to briefly sink into their memories.

Dream of Eternal Happiness B: Avenger's endless goal towards bringing back the happy days that once were. Her will can never be broken as to this, for it is her very core as a heroic spirit, and as such she naturally resists any demoralization or negative emotion-spreading effects that are placed on her.

Hair Which Flows Like Water C: Avenger's famously long, flowing hair, with which she was pulled out of the water of Dan-no-Ura using a rake. Her hair has become those waters of Dan-no-Ura, and the main weapon she uses, although she carries many. This water is used in a way akin to tendrils, grasping and flinging targets, or constricting them.

    Noble Phantasm(s):

    Dan-no-Ura
    Under The Waves They Sunk

    Type: Anti-Army
    Rank: C+
    Range: 30 meters
    Max Targets: 100 targets

The battle of Dan-no-Ura, wherein most of Avenger's family, including her son and her mother, died as their side lost, along with almost all of the soldiers and samurai on her side. This noble phantasm will only be invoked if someone has actively tried to prevent Avenger from reaching her dream of happiness. When invoked, her hair spreads out and expands, creating a titanic flood that drags opponents down. Their amount of being dragged down increases based on their honor, as well as the amount they've opposed Avenger's goals.

Lore: Taira no Tokuko (1155-1214) was the Empress Consort of Japan as wife of Emperor Takakura, and Empress Dowager as mother of Emperor Antoku. However, her life shattered during the battle of Dan-no-Ura, wherein both her son, Antoku, and her mother, Tokiko, died, along with most of her soldiers and samurai. She became a recluse.

Personality: An elegant and dreamy person. She constantly reminisces about the past, and wishes that she could return to those happy days. However, if someone tries to prevent her from doing that, she reveals a much sharper and harsher side of her personality, not caring about anything or anyone besides her family. Her wish for the grail is to return to the time before Dan-no-Ura, and for the battle to have never happened.

    Relationships:

Cai Yan: "...I wonder, are you similar to me?"

Jorugumo: "Life is so horrible to everyone. Wouldn't you just rather... forget? Fade back into your past?"

Atkor Kamuy: "Vengefulness is all well and good, but... your goal is merely to torment your people more?"

Havisham: "I agree. Don't ever forget."

Anne Boleyn: "Shouldn't you just... turn back or move forward? I'd suggest turn back. Return to your past. Forget your fate. Remove your fate."

    Creator's Notes: It's my Bday!

Eeeyyy thanks! I'm glad to hear that since I really liked coming up with them. The skill tree thing was because of what I read about how the Fröbelgaben is supposed to be used. I can say I wouldn't have thought of the soldier "twist" had I not read the autobiography. It was because of his reasons for joining the army that I thought "he'd definitely fight with his master despite being a support servant".

Maybe for a joke/summer alt? Either way, now that you've given me the idea I might just use one for future educators...

Thanks. Again, it's because of the "teacher Watcher" interpretation that I chose Watcher, since Fröbel wants to nurture, but not through trials, like the trial Gatekeeper. Glad you like the personality and skills! Particularly the former since I was initially so...mixed on him from reading the autobiography, mainly because of the translator's notes, but then I settled on the personality I wrote in the end to acknowledge those notes and how he viewed himself.

    Traits: Female, Humanoid
    Armament: Bare hands, wrestling moves
    Catalyst: A snapped cane

    Class Skills:

Magic Resistance A: All magic that nears her "ages", massively weakening as a result of delay and loss of mana.

True Name Discernment B: She can read the true names of all, for all people age.

Elder's Command B: The ruler class skill known as God's Command, altered through the idea of the authority of the elders and Ruler's identity as the goddess of old age. Grants several command seals. In addition, gives more authority to every word Ruler says.

    Personal Skills:

All Shall Grow Old B: All shall grow old naturally, and as the goddess of old age, Ruler can naturally utilise this as a skill, aging her enemies slightly as she wills to weaken them, or even aging herself or allies to speed up the healing of any wounds held by herself or allies, Naturally, this completely fails on fatal wounds.

I Am Inevitable A: Ruler, as the personification of old age, is just as inevitable as old age itself. A skill which negates Presence Concealment and any way to hide from Ruler, and weakens dodges. In addiion, she gains a natural advantage in attacks against all those enemies who can age, as for them her attacks are inevitable.

Wrestling Your Mortality B: Ruler's skill at wrestling manifested as a skill, naturally suited for the personification of aging and grappling with one's mortality. Her specialty is Glima, in particular loose-grip Glima, though pure-strength Glima is also a strategy that Ruler uses when she can.

    Noble Phantasm(s):

    Aldr Aesir
    Even The Gods Tremble

    Type: Anti-Unit
    Rank: A
    Range: 2 meters
    Max Targets: 1 target

Ruler's wrestling match with Thor, manifested as her Noble Phantasm. Ruler will usually invoke this and use it as a threat the first time, if someone goes out of the bounds of the Grail War. When the true name is called, she grasps ahold of her target in a powerful wrestling grab. At the same time, the target is aged to their "weakest point" as all their defences fall away. Even if they are Servants and didn't live to old age, they would still be affected. The only exceptions would be people who don't age, such as Xian.

Lore: Elli was the Goddess of Old Age in Norse Myth. She most notably showed up at Utgard-Loki's palace, wherupon one of the tasks Thor had to do was to wrestle a seemingly innocuous elderly woman named Elli, who was supposedly Utgard-Loki's nurse. But as the wrestling match was happening, Thor felt weak and was easily brought down by Elli. In truth, she was the goddess of old age, and that Thor could even last for a few moments against her shocked and terrified Utgard-Loki.

Personality: A gentle and grandmotherly person. She feels annoyed at being manifested as a Servant, but accepts it to be able to make sure that everything is working as it should in terms of aging. She naturally will attempt to destroy all those who don't enter her domain of Old Age. She holds no true wish for the Holy Grail.

    Relationships:

Baba Anujka: "Oh, hello dearie! Such a pleasure to see you again!"

Anqi Sheng: "You do realize I will get you eventually, right, dearie? So why don't you just sit down, have something to drink with me, and I'll bring you to old age."

Ji Kang: "No sublime music. That won't work on me, dearie. Not like it worked on the World."

Miss Havisham: "Hmm. Someone trying to hijack my authority. Dearie, did you really think that'd work?"

    Likes: Strength, helping the people
    Dislikes: Romance
    Talent: Wielding his sword
Natural Enemy: Nia Ngao Zhua Pa
    Attribute: Earth
Traits: Male, humanoid, Weak to Enuma Elish
    Armament: A traditional vietnamese sword
    Catalyst: A traditional vietnamese sword

    Class Skills:

Magic Resistance B: Though he lived in the age of the gods and was a child of a dragon, he rarely faced down magic in life and as such has a lower rank than he could. However, he is immune to illusions.

Riding D: He never rode mounts in life, and as such has a minimal rank in this class skill.

    Personal Skills:

Dragonkind Mana Core B: Saber's identity as a member of Dragonkind manifested as a skill. He naturally holds a really powerful mana reactor, resulting in his Mana regenerating by huge amounts. In addition, Saber can shift his hands into dragon claws or shift his vocal chords to produce a Dragon's Breath.

Fire And Water Cannot Mix C: Saber's ill-fated romance with the fairy Au Co. Although they had one hundred children, the ancestors of the Vietnamese people, they soon realized that Au Co longed for the mountains of her homeland, while Saber wished to be by the seas where he lived. So the two split. This manifests in the form of a skill weakening the effect of the five elements against him: fire, metal, wood, water, and earth.

Patriarch of the Vietnamese A: Saber's status as the patriarch of the Vietnamese people as the divine ancestor. This grants him a natural enhancement to his authority over others who he views as "children", naturally all those bearing descent from him, as well as other Magical Beings who aren't Divine, in terms of a "natural advantage".

    Noble Phantasm(s):

    Giet Ho Tinh
    Thunder Cage

    Type: Anti-Unit
    Rank: C
    Range: 2 meters
    Max Targets: 1 target

The thunder cage with which he bound the 1000year old nine-tailed fox, Ho Tinh, naturally manifests as a Noble Phantasm. When the true name is called, Saber shapes a cage of lightning around a target, binding them within a small space and trapping them, as well as dealing continuous damage. The only way to escape is through an Agility check to successfully dodge the placement of it.

    Giet Ngu Tinh
    Burning Spike

    Type: Anti-Unit
    Rank: B
    Range: 2 meters
    Max Targets: 1 target

The manifestation of Saber's method of killing the giant fish, Ngu Tinh, who drowned and ate countless people. When the true name is called, Saber's sword lights with a burning fire, before he performs a blazingly fast three-strike pattern. This pattern has a very high chance of destruction of the target, through "ignition from the inside".

Lore: Lac Long Quan, the Patriarch of Vietnam, was a mythological Vietnamese hero who was supposedly the ancestor of the Vietnamese people. He was the descendant of dragons. During his time, there were two great terrors who attacked the land, the giant fish Ngu Tinh and the nine-tailed fox Ho Tinh. He slew them both. He also ended up marrying the fairy Au Co, and through their love the Vietnamese people were born, though their romance was ill-fated.

Personality: A caring and compassionate person. He views almost everyone around as his children, unless they were fellow beings of times similar to his. He holds a mild distaste for romance personally, viewing it to all end in tragedy. However, he reminisces frequently about those happy days. As such, his wish for the Grail is to be able to remove his want to stay by the sea and return to the day in which he made the choice.

    Relationships:

Puteri Gunung Ledang: "Romance is merely tragedy. Your attempt to show it was brave, but... woefully misguided."

Badang: "So, you chucked a stone to slay a monster too? How interesting."

Nia Ngao Zhua Pa: "Oh! A fellow Dragon from my own area! So... what sort of entity are you? Because you don't just feel like another member of Dragonkind."

Tamar of Georgia: "I don't know what people are talking about regarding big cats and dragons. You seem interesting!"

    Xtabay: "A false dragon."

Look at this lad, absolute unit right there.
Anyways, I am back and with a mechanically unusual Servant so I will be curious to hear what you think.

    ------------

    Saber

What is that word ‘honour’? Just a word - nay, t’is a fool’s prize. It won’t fill your stomach nor mend broken bones. Honour the dead as much as you like, but give me life to enjoy tomorrow...

    True Name: Sir John Falstaff
Epithet: “The Miles Gloriosus of Knights
    Region: England (Circa 16th Century)
    Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
    Likes: Alcohol, Money
    Dislikes: Honour, Royalty
    Talents: Charisma, Disguises
    Natural Enemy: Henry V

    Parameters
    STR: (D) END: (E) AGI: (C) MGI: (E) LCK: (E) NP: (D)

    Character
Saber takes the form of Sir John Falstaff, the egotistical and buffoonish knight who was the beloved “mentor” of Prince Hal before the child ascended the throne to become Henry V…or so he claims.

In spite his title of knighthood, Falstaff is far from a virtuous figure - instead being a greedy, lecherous slob who would much rather spend his time drinking and going to brothels than recruiting loyal soldiers to his king’s cause or capturing ne'er-do-wells. But there is a charm about Falstaff that nevertheless attracted people like Prince Hal to his side, it’s the unashamed lack of pretence - no matter how much he boasts of his exploits or skills, everyone can see through it and at the end of the day Falstaff has so much fun just being himself and his open vices made him relatable and approachable to many who would otherwise avoid the overbearing knights. The other thing is his surprising resilience to being made fun of, even when his own friends decide to humiliate him, Falstaff takes it on the chin and joins in on the joke with ego intact. Yet despite his buffoonish behaviour, Falstaff’s ability to clearly speak truth to folly shows the occasional flash of insight. He is deeply critical of things like “honour” which he finds to be the source of conflict and pointless death, he would much rather be a coward and live than die for the sake of someone else’s whims.

But for all his larger than life zest, there remains a certain melancholy about his disposition. The reason for this is that the man known as Sir John Falstaff…doesn’t exist. He was merely a creation of the author William Shakespeare for his “Henry V” plays and the Servant summoned forth was merely a Wraith stitched together from the data of the people Shakespeare based the character off of, namely John Oldcastle and John Fastolf. As a result, he is very interested in learning the reasons why the Masters would stake their lives on the Grail as well as why other Servants keep fighting even though their lives have already ended. While far from a philosopher, Falstaff will often muse on his self-purported “catechisms” that has him question how real certain things like honour or morality are against their perceived value that people collectively place on them as well as what people are without their memories since Falstaff has recollections of people and events that cannot have happened and yet they still feel as real as anything he observes in the modern era which is disorienting.

In a Holy Grail War, Falstaff is under no illusion that he is not really the great warrior that he makes himself out to be to his Master. To that end, he is much more interested in appraising himself of the delights that the modern era has to offer rather than fight. Nevertheless he will attempt to maintain morale by claiming he really is strong if he gets going and that everything is under control even as he is being knocked around by enemy Servants. If things start to get real bad then Falstaff will employ his classic strategy of simply running and hiding until the enemy gives up. It is really only if his Master manages to befriend Falstaff and become one of his honorary “henchmen” that he will go all out and invoke his Noble Phantasm in an effort to win and protect his Master.

His Wish upon the Holy Grail? He isn’t really sure, the idea of Falstaff actually winning the Grail is so laughable that he hadn’t given much consideration to what he would do with it.

    Skills

    Class Skills

    Magic Resistance - (D)
The protection granted against magical effects. Differing from the Resistance effect that merely rejects Magical Energy, this ability cancels the spells altogether. Due to the fact that Falstaff is both not a true Heroic Spirit and he supposedly hails from the latter half of the Age of Man, he has very little in the way of immunity against magical effects. As a result, he can only cancel out Single-Action spells and otherwise is just as vulnerable to higher magecraft as is a normal modern human.

    Presence Concealment - (C)

The capacity for a Servant to hide one's presence and become undetectable by the five senses in order to perform both reconnaissance and stealth attacks - it is the standard issue Class Skill of Assassin Servants. Owing to his thieving activity, Falstaff has the ability to disappear from sight and become difficult to track, but the Rank of this Skill drops considerably when launching an attack. Due to Falstaff’s unique nature, it is only possible to use this Skill whilst acting as an Assassin Class Servant.

    Riding - (C)
A Class Skill of Rider and Saber class Servants, denoting the ability to ride mounts and vehicles. Rider-class Servants will typically possess a high rank. It is said that dragon type mounts are an exception, requiring a different ability other than Riding. For Falstaff he has a decent amount of experience riding mounts due to his lifelong service as a knight. As a result, he can handle most vehicles and animals with above average skill, even vehicles that did not exist in the time period he was alive in, for they are no exception. However, he cannot ride the likes of Phantasmal Species such as Monstrous Beasts.

    Personal Skills

Beauty of Trouble with Women - (A)
A type of “awareness” of women whose infamy borders on that of a curse. Falstaff is notorious for his repeated attempts to “find a wife” - mainly as an excuse for constantly visiting brothels, but easily the most famous episode was his attempt to invoke netorare on two married women in Windsor that led to his public humiliation. It is for this reason that he will find it difficult to harm a female opponent and even worse he is abnormally vulnerable to Charm magecraft from the opposite sex. This does go both ways though, and if he is defending a maiden (whether his Master or otherwise) then his libido will grant a boost to his Parameters for the battle. It probably won’t affect the outcome, but it will make Falstaff more tenacious and brave than before which can make him more annoying to fight than anything.

    Job Change - (C)
The curious disposition that allows one to change their Servant Class at will, a rare Skill only given to the most transient type of Servants. Because Falstaff is a Wraith with data incorporated from various individuals, his Saint Graph as a result is very unstable and prone to fluctuating. Falstaff takes advantage of this by manipulating it to change from Saber to the Assassin Class and with it exchanging his Class Skills as a result. The change is only temporary, with Falstaff reverting back to Saber after a short while and only Assassin is available to him due to his thieving and stealth related activities mirroring that of the profession. Nevertheless it can be very useful for performing reconnaissance as well as creating confusion surrounding the exact number of Servants summoned when there are seemingly two Assassins. Obviously Falstaff will keep silent that being an Assassin means he can run and hide if he encounters a strong enemy Servant.

    Sticky Fingers - (D)
Born from the anecdotes of one who is famous for larceny, it is the ability to covertly "steal" something either from one's surroundings or from a person, even if the user did not make direct contact with the target. As a petty criminal, Falstaff regularly joined his lackeys in acts of highway robbery as well as other forms of theft to varying levels of success. The mechanics of the Skill are thus; once Falstaff has identified a target, he reaches out his hand and concentrates on having the object in his hands. The distance is measured and calculated against a Check between the differential of his Agility and Luck stats that he must pass and if succeeded, the object will have moved into his hand. Obviously the ideal scenario is to get as close as possible without being noticed in order to maximise the probability of the Skill resolving, and if he is trying to take an object from a person or animal, then Falstaff will have an additional hurdle in the form of the opponent having a Detection Roll.

    Noble Phantasm

    Transformed

    Herne the Hunter
Se non è vero, è ben trovato

[Type - Anti World], [Noble Phantasm Rank - D], [Maximum Range - 0], [Maximum Number of Targets - Self]

Due to being a Wraith and not a true Heroic Spirit, Falstaff does not have a proper Noble Phantasm that is the crystallized embodiment of a hero's existence. The only reason he was even summoned as a Saber was due to his experience in wielding a sword. Nevertheless, the iconic scene of the hero Falstaff impersonating the phantasmal spirit of Herne the Hunter has manifested as his closest approximation although still in a warped fashion.

By getting his Master to invoke their Command Seal to empower Falstaff, he is able to temporarily corrupt his Saint Graph into fooling the World that he is actually Herne himself. Beyond even the abilities of shapeshifting, Falstaff completely changes his physical and mental constitution in order to become Herne - shedding both his flabby body and cowardly disposition. Now that Herne takes the field, he is a formidable fighter with the strength to stand up to the other Servants between his swordsmanship, spectral steed to ride around on and his ghostly chains he whips around for long range attacks and manoeuvres. Even without a separate Noble Phantasm of his own, Herne fights bravely on in order to protect his Master and bring them victory.

However, although a beautiful deception, it ultimately cannot last as the transformation will collapse after 180 seconds and Falstaff will revert to his bumbling self once more. Obviously convincing the Master to willingly and continuously give up their Command Seals will also be a hurdle. Once all the Command Seals are used up, if Falstaff wishes to use this Noble Phantasm one last time then he will need to use his mana to permanently change his Saint Graph which will trigger the transformation once more, but the resulting damage will mean that after the 180 seconds are up, Falstaff’s Saint Graph will undergo Ego Death and he will fade away rather than revert back to normal.

    Relationships

Artoria - “Hmm…my eulogy said I was resting ‘in Arthur’s bosom’, and yet unfortunately there doesn’t appear to be much there…”

Cernunnos - “The Horned Deity!? I certainly hope my Herne getup did nothing to offend you.”

Francis Drake - “You knew Elizabeth, is that correct? I always like to send my gratitude out to my supporters after all.”

Richard the Lionheart - “If it isn’t the ancestor to ol’ Hal. You remind me a lot of him in many ways.”

William Shakespeare - “Did I live up to the expectations you had of me, father?”

    Creator's Notes
Not a lot to say about this one. I just really wanted to do a comedic Servant and someone who isn’t well suited to a Holy Grail War for once and Falstaff came to mind. The reversal of “this literary character really existed in the Nasuverse” was done to add a bit more depth to the bumbling fool.

It should go without saying given the faceclaim inspiration referenced below, but Falstaff’s ability to change Classes is based on the Job System from Final Fantasy and how in certain games like Dissidia, characters can change their Job mid-fight.

The primary Faceclaim is Baelo from the phone gatcha game “War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius”. The FC for “transformed state” via the Noble Phantasm is the Warrior of Light from the same game.

As always, all comments and critiques are welcomed~
