    Lore
A Princess in Greek Myth, the daughter of Minos, son of Europa with Zeus, and Pasiphaë the daughter of Helios and the ocean nymph Perseus, who was hailed as a self proclaimed goddess of divination and skilled practitioner of witchcraft and potions. However as it was proclaimed by an oracle that one of Minos’s children would overthrow and betray him even when he was arened he refused to return the sacred white bull gifted by Posideon as a sacrifice and thus the Minotaur was born. He then proceeded to trap the beast in the labyrinth alongside the daughter he determined through his wife’s divination of dreams would betray him in the labyrinth. Shocked by her parent’s betrayal of her Ariadne sided with Theseus and using a thread mystic code she wove out of a sheet on the bed given to her in her home within the labyrinth was able to use it to divine a way out of the maze. However, Theseus cared not for her, his heart was that which yearned for adventure and questing and having a wife would only tie him down as such he abandoned her.

Heartbroken, Ariadne nearly died of grief when Dionysus as a young god (he had yet to claim his throne on Olympus or gain renown for his status) discovered her and moved with pity and took her in as his own. He then took her to Argos and told her that he still had to complete tasks his father Zeus willed before he could claim his throne as a god said that he would return for her. However on one particular occasion Dionysus was delayed in his return and so hearing that the great monster slayer Perseus was in the area she endeavored to seek his aid to find her husband. But upon making her plea Perseus claimed that hat he never heard of such a person (Dionysus) and that if they did they would merely abandon her as “betrayal and deceit is the nature of all people” (For context he had just returned to Argos restored his brother to the throne then after his brother accused him of lying of besting the Gorgon accidentally killed him with it’s head fulfilling the oracle’s prophecy, which made him a little bitter and in a bad mood at the time (and he genuinely didn’t know who Dionysus was as he wasn’t well known as a god yet)).

Horrified, Araidne was then confronted by the truth of the matter, that she was considered a traitor to her country, someone who Theseus had deemed unworthy, and was alone in a city with nothing and nobody. Falling into despair Ariadne went to a tree and hung herself, thus that day Perseus’ actions claimed two lives. Upon learning of his wife’s death and Perseus’ actions Dionysus beseech his father who cursed him to wander the land for 10 years without speaking to anybody. When Araidne was taken to the underworld she was judged by both her father and his brothers and for her acts of betrayal and leading to her half-brother’s death her soul was deemed impure, and was sent to be punished. However, upon Dionysus’ pleas and arguments of her innocence Hades relented if only in part. Ariadn’e soul would be divided in two, ½ containing the good and her memories would be given to Dionysus as his wife, the other half would be reincarnated and live on earth. Should this half live a good life, then it would be allowed to reunite with the other half of her soul in Olympus.

This other half would live a humble life, yet be haunted by dreams of a life filled with torment and cruelty. Due to her great skill in weaving this attracted the attention of the goddess Athena who challenged her. In the end the two fought, the goddess creating a tapestry illustrating the power and majesty of the gods and their champions and Arachne making a great tapestry showing the gods and their champions in all their cruelty and evil. For both her insolence and enraged that her own work was nearly if not as good as her own Athena killed her, yet taking some pity, she then changed Arachne into a spider and thus she became the ancestor to all spiders in the world with her rage towards the gods and heroes becoming her venom and her own loom become her thread and web, a great net to capture and reveal the truth of what heroes are. Perhaps it is only ironic that Arachne/Araidne who was preyed upon and treated cruelly by both men and gods alike would become a species with traps and preys upon those who would fall into her web.

    Personality
As Araidne her personality is mellow and somber, she cares for Dionysus however, she also isn’t willing to even forgive him as even he at times would act behind her back and act just like those accused “heroes” she so despises. She genuinely believes that the idea of the “classical greek hero” is that of a joke and believes that irony extends to other groups like that of many other mythologies and such which pertain to the gods. In Araidne’s mind the gods are that which has corrupted and done ill to the world for generations. Almost anyone who would be cleared as worthy by their standards is likely little more than a human reflection of the gods; That is to say a bloodthirsty, semi-insane, murderous, conniving, and/or manipulative figure. If she were summoned in the grail war it’s more likely she would get along with supposed villains like Medusa, Medea, or the Minotaur than she would fellow greek heroes due to her own disdain of them. She genuinely believes at her core the pursuit of heroism is an oxymoronic idea as what it means to be a hero is to do what others want you to do, not to do that which is inherently right, and even those who do horrible acts, as long as they have any one trait worth admiring will be called heroes rightly or wrongly.

If brought to the topic of her family Araidne will refuse to elaborate on the matter or will deny any relation by blood to them, that which was prophesied indeed has come to pass, due to, not in spite of her parent’s choices. As Arachne her personality is a little hard to nail down as she generally doesn't speak to humans due to her mad enhancement (and even as avenger she generally wouldn't speak to you unless you proved different from most humans). However if she could it would likely be nailed down as that of what she never was in life, a mother. One who cares deeply about her children and despises both gods and heroes alike, if Ariadne scorns them with her tongue, yet is willing to remain civil, then Arachne would be one who thoroughly despises them and won’t even dare consider them as an ally. Seeing Heroes and Gods exposed their faults and truths of what they are beneath their armor of ideals and embellishments on their legends murderers, liars, and thieves alike laid bare. To her that is the greatest joy.

Were Ariadne to have a wish she would likely not answer to her master what it would be, but for Arachne the wish would be clear to understand “To strip away the deception and delusions of grandeur which line the throne revealing the number for that which they are those who stood and sat upon thrones of glory, carved from the suffering of those they defeated and destroyed in life” (essentially she wants any servant summoned from the throne to be constantly forced to accept and conform with the actions they did in life, if kinga arthur and his knights could be said to have unified britain and repulsed the saxons, she would have them forced to accept their failure to save the kingdom they built, that the lives they ruined and the men they killed were all for a kingdom which didn’t even last 50 years, and that they honestly were only thought of as heroes as they defended the homeland, to the Saxons they were monsters who butchered them simply for doing what they knew as part of their way fo life).

    Relationships

Greek Heroes: Yes and what of it, what of you Trojan war, what of your Odyssey, what of your myths and legends. Were they not filled with betrayal, were you not all puppets to the gods, mere pawns to their wills, did it never occur to you that doing as you did, you merely prolonged their rule, their tyranny over men? And for what did you seek? Glory? Power? Revenge? Love perhaps? or was it redemption? what a joke, as if any of your blacked hearts could be redeemed, every act you did in the journey for what you sought rendered you unworthy of the reward you desired in the first place. Perhaps not all of you were bad, and perhaps not all gods were wicked, but would you ask a child to pick an apple from a bin where 99 are rotten merely because 2 or 3 are good?

The knights of the Round: Oh am I supposed to be impressed, sorry. Hail Arthur and his knights, murders of men, killers of innocent soldiers told to do their jobs, destroyer of kingdoms and estates for his own greed and arrogance in the name of his "prophecy". May you forever glimmer in the heaven with that "Glorious" blade stained crimson in the blood of the dead, cursed by widows of those you killed, of children taken from their parent's, of the men doomed never to see their families again. May you and your kingdom, that which burned with a scant few decades truly glimmer forever as it sits atop the mountain of corpses you made to create it. And may the "justice" which which you dispensed against the barbaric Saxons and their villages for having the sheer arrogance to want to do as all humans do and expand and claim a little more for themselves. At least the Saxon's didn't spark the Crusades version 0.5 and murder people for the "crime" of not believing an old wives tale or having faith in someone who would later lead their "great kingdom" to ash in mere decades. Oh I'm sorry, I forgot I was speaking about great role models. Although, what are you supposed to be considered role models for? How to better horrible, incompetent, zealots psychopaths perhaps?

Medea: Another victim of the cruelty of the gods, trust in me, abandon their ways, all that those powers could ever bring is torment and hardship. At least those ages are over, now man lives in an age free of the heroes of old, free of the gods of yore. It may not be perfect, but at least things are better without them, if only a little.
Medusa: Athena claims another victim, the goddess of men, bound to the same failings as her children. Glory, arrogance, pride, and foolishness four great follies of the goddess who condemns and creates both monsters and heroes alike.
    Minos/Pasiphaë: No comment
Asterios: I'm sorry, you were a victim of them too. If I had known then perhaps I would have ...
Tamamo-no-mae: Wait, a goddess? A goddess who would wish to walk among men? I don't get it. Why would you even?

Arash: You are interesting, I cannot condemn you, but ask yourself this. Did you really achieve anything, the knights of the round couldn't save Britain, Charlemagne and his fellows couldn't untie Europe, even Gilgamesh couldn't halt humanity's corruption. Peace is nothing but a lull, a break between war, to fight to kill, for their "glory", for their own selfish desires, because of their differences, that is humanity's nature. Those like you are wasted on this wicked world.
Karna: So you see it too, what they are, what they do. In the end even your brother, he who was called their greatest hero, nothing but a pawn to his own tainted heart, a monster hiding in human flesh.
Monstrous heroic spirits: Then you are them, those who mankind rejects, those struck down as beasts as monsters. Well make yourselves at home, I have no place to judge nor have I any intent to condemn.
Heroic Spirits who have scum to Madness: In the end, what was it you said, You fought for the people, for your country, to destroy monsters? Hah, it matters little anymore, in the end no matter what the only difference between you and the demons you fought is that they never lied about what they were.
Avengers: Revenge huh, personally, I can't say I care much for it, but her. Well I won't bother stopping you, heaven knows at least you understand that this whole "heroic spirit" business is a sham.

    General Function

As Ariadne; The caster of the two serves as the main producer of mystic codes and is the most capable at creating a workshop, with her skill she is able to heal powerful venoms and brew Dinonysus’ wine which if distilled to nearly pure alcohol can harm divine spirits at a cost and if given enough time and mana. Although not ideal for combat she is able to bind servants with the vines granted to her through her connection to Dionysus which she can summon with mana (which is also why she can make his wine anyways). Although this requires exposed earth, if there is anything covering the ground like snow, or asphalt or stone, then it doesn’t work, and even though they are strong against B rank strength they won’t last forever and against A rank strength or anything above B rank level they will likely only last for a second or two at best. Her familiars are more for use in spying than combat and she is more skilled with magecraft.

As Arachne; The berserker of the two, she serves as the more capable fighter with her high speed and endurance and her average strength. However don’t be deceived she is far from stupid, she is more animalistic than purely insane, and as a result she still can think well enough to be dangerous. She may use burrows to ambush prey or fight them in close quarters or an area they aren’t familiar with but she is, using her venomous saliva she may coat her hands or les in it in it so that if they draw blood it slightly envenoms/curses the target (this wouldn’t be too bad for heroic spirits who aren’t weak to venoms or curses, but for most humans this would be bad), she is able to use positions like the ceiling and such to get the drop on foes (although she doesn’t have presence concealment so more savvy foes could find her), she is unwilling to target foes who haven't; been weakened or aren’t in a favorable situation out of knowledge of her limited strength, she can use her legs as extra arms to bind foes alongside her thread (which is about as strong as Caster’s vines, but can be produced using her mana allowing for use anywhere).

She can and will target humans and masters trying to bite them to envenom them and get an advantage through the knowledge given by the grail that “a servant without a master is weakened” therefore; servant - master = easy prey in her mind. However complex strategies which aren't’ normal to spiders or that she cannot understand are unlikely to be well understood or make sense to her. Overall she can be dangerous, however she still isn’t truly sane or has a human mind, so that gives one an advantage over her. Given her nature if the prey is too strong she will likely retreat and try again. However due to her own hatred of humans she is very likely to eat them for mana (this may include her own master if they aren’t careful) to allow her to birth more familiars which she can command (spiders versus Araidne’s snakes) and they too possess a small amount of her venom, however at most she would likely be able to have them spy on other foes and unless their master was smart enough to direct them (a hard task given Arachne’s district of humans and her love of her children), they would be unable to use them to strategically attack other masters and envenom them.

Parameters Ariadne / (as Arachne with demon of mutation) *Arachne with demon of mutation and mad enhancement*:

    Strength – E / (C)
    Endurance – E / (C+) *B+*
    Agility – D / (C+) *B+*
    Mana – A / (C)
    Luck – C / (D)
    Noble Phantasm – B / (B)

    Class Skills

Item construction [B+]- Denotes the ability to create objects, as a master weaver in both her “lives” Ariadne is able to make clothing or material (primarily silk strong enough that it surpasses steel (much like spider silk which she has a connection to)), she also is able to create webs of this material to trap or impede foes (which she also can do in her other form), serve as a early warning sign if they are broken (by running magical energy through them she can sense if the “circuit” is broken) and use magical energy to control and manipulate them to bind foes or make them strong enough to tear through armor (small near invisible threads cutting you apart or pulling you to pieces). Due to Her husband’s blessing she also in this form can brew his wine (which requires time and a lot of grapes and magical energy, but is so content even smelling it could make a human drunk). The only skill she will use from her family is the preparation of magical potions her mother taught her, however even then she isn’t as skilled in them as her mother, cannot grant limited immortality, and mostly focuses on using them to heal or strengthen others (potions which heal poisons and venoms, potions which grant more strength, speed, and endurance, and potions which can weakened curses or remove the sensation of pain temporarily). This skill is lost if Ariadne transforms into Arachne.

Territory Creation [B]- At this level Caster can create a workshop, which is specialized in textiles, thread, poisons (she was originally a snake and weaving goddess to the people of Crete and her husband was the goddess of alcohol, a type of poison (as a goddess Caster may possibly have been equated to Athena and Medusa’s predecessor the Minoan snake goddess or the Mycenaean version of Athena, or even the Egyptian Neith who may have derived from the same Proto-Indo-European myths which lead to the rise of Athena, and Medusa)) and botany. Remains as Arachne perhaps due to the habit of spiders weaving their own webs (albeit lowered one rank).

Mad Enhancement [C-]- Exclusive to Arachne, a status which denotes those who have fallen to madness, at this rank all physical parameters are boosted, at the cost of normal speech and normal human thought (she still is smart enough to use her silk thread to trap foes, to use ambush tactics like a spider, to only deal with weakened foes, and to cover things in her venom to accommodate for her lacking strength), however the ability to command animals hasn’t been lost, although now it is more due to her power over them rather than magical aptitude.

    Personal Skills (Ariadne)

Divinity [A]- As the descendent of Zeus from her father’s side, Helios on her mother’s side and having been equated with the goddess, having ties to both Athena, Medusa, and having risen to become a goddess after her death (part of her) she would normally have goddess’ divine core, yet her half of her soul which holds Arachne’s monstrous self weakens this skill. At this rank she has reached the throne if the gods can break through powerful skills like protection of faith and enlightenment of the sacred fig and boasts unrivaled aptitude with divine spirits.

Surgery [C]- Denotes the ability to perform surgical procedures, as magus whose family specialized in experimenting with animals and humans (alluded to in myth by the role of animals in her families’ fate (her mother, brother and father) as well as her own myth) Caster is skilled in techniques like organ removal, patching wounds with skin or hide, and especially sewing shut wounds. At this level in terms of modern surgical techniques caster would be among the levels of the most talented in the world (in spite of not always looking visually appealing).

Magecraft [A-]- As the child of the skilled magus Pasiphaë caster has expertise in the field of potion making, familiar creation and manipulation, and divination through dreams. However due to the rift which has formed between he and her family that which caused her alongside her betrayal to abandon the divine tongue, she is reluctant to use her family arts, specifically their specialty of dream divination, but if forced she will do it.

But is isn’t as powerful or accurate as her mother’s which would surpass the likes of the dream cycle in the grail war. However in contrast her abilities in the creation of mystic codes are arguably higher than that of her mother’s own. In terms of her skills unless accounting for Affection of the god which grants her offensive potential with her ability to create vines, her familiars generally lack the power needed to damage does heavily unless she is using poisons, and she is more talented as a healer than a offensive mage.

Affection of the God [B]- As one who was beloved by Dionysius, Caster has a resistance to poisons, the ability to control and make vines (particularly ivy or grape, but thorny vines also work) from the exposed earth (they roughly can bind up to A rank strength servants very briefly (like for a moment or two), but would be able to bind B rank strength servants a bit better, and for those with C rank strength without a command seal or something to buff or escape them they would have no means of escape from their binds), and the ability to brew his wine (which can drive people mad if they drink it (and don’t die) and into a frenzy.

If distilled and in it’s pure form the wine is so potent if it serves as a poison just below the likes of Eitr or hydra meat (which could hurt divine spirits), and is very dangerous even to servants, (especially those without divinity, poison resistance, or monstrous blood to help them cope better even in small amounts (if they drink it or are forced to)). However distilling the wine is very difficult to do and requires both a large amount of time (on the order of a month) and a large amount of mana, as well as a dedicated workshop and several ingredients to do so.

    Personal Skills (Arachne)

Demon of mutation [C]- As a part of the soul which comprised Ariadne, she was transformed into a monster, by Athena, however perhaps due to her soul also existing elsewhere as a god, and her not being the dominant personality this skill has weakened. Still by using this skill one is able to reinforce their endurance and Agility for a time (originally this would boost strength and agility, however as Spider’s aren’t known for their strength (unless you are talking about their thread) this instead boosts agility and endurance).

Monstrous strength [X]- Due to spiders not being typically associated with strength and her being weakened to start with, this skill (which at base was at max maybe D or E rank), has been lost.

Animal communication (spiders) [A-]- Due to her transformation into a spider, Arachne is able to speak to and command them, however due to her mad enhancement most of the ability to form complex plans and use them as familiars has been fully lost.

Dignity [E-]- As half of the soul of Ariadne who became a goddess and had divine lineage, she hold this, however by having become a monster due to the curse of a goddess (although in a way it was her saving her life, yet also punishing her) and scorned the gods this has decreased to a very low rank.

Arachne’s Venom [B] - A skill which if summoned as berserker would manifest as a noble phantasm. This skill embodies the madness of Arachne, one whose arrogance caused her to challenge the gods and whose hatred and vitriol for her life overflows like venom. It was said that from Arachne’s curse she became the mother of all the world’s spiders and as such she both gifted them their great skill in weaving and their deadly venom. In ancient times Tararnism was a condition believed to be caused by the bite of the Lycosa Tarantula spider whose form (along with that of the Black widow spider) has influenced Caster. Perhaps it could be said that as a result a conceptual curse, a curse of madness, murder, and rage is possessed within her venom and her maw.

As such being bitten by her teeth (her human teeth, or coming into contact with substances lathered or in contact with her saliva can lead to one being cursed. This curse is such that it drives the user into a berserk rage much like mad enhancement. However unlike those who possess the skill there is no benefit to any physical ability. All that would result in this rage is based on one’s resistance to poison either weakening them, them being unable to focus to cast magecraft, or their death. If used as a noble phantasm it is likely this would be at a higher rank. However due to serpents or reptiles being more iconic with the idea of venom in greek myth it would not likely be as deadly as the likes of the hydra or gorgon’s blood (although it still would be more than enough to kill most mages and weaken or effect heroic spirits, monstrous species, and homunculi).

Arachne’s Loom [A]- A skill which under Avenger or Foreigner class would qualify as noble phantasm. Arachne whose life had known naught but that which she earned with her own hands had taken upon herself, filled with the dreams of a life filled with cruelty to spinning her loom. One day she challenged the god Athena and for her insolence was severely punished. This noble phantasm exists as a relic of that contest. It is said that which her loom spins is that which rises from her dreams and thus forges a life of tragedy, one which shatters the illusion of the gods’ grandeur and glory. This skill is especially powerful against greek heroic spirits, and if allowed to be a nobel phantasm would have greater power.

The mental effect of this is such that it could drive most to despair or even perhaps even drive them to madness or sucide. And even against the likes of celebrated heroes like Hercules they would have their own parameter’s and glory revealed for what it is, a legacy of worship based upon a life filled with bloodshed, madness, and tyranny. As heroic spirits are those admired as the ideal beings of human imagination, which guide humanity, that which would be woven would be “a bitter truth which exposes to the collective unconsciousness the fraudulence of their idols”. A spirit exposed as such would have both their noble phantasms weakened (or in the case of those lille Perseus who gained the Pegasus through distortion of his myth, may lose it entirely) alongside their parameters and class skills being weakened.

The major limitation upon this is that she is only able to weave a loom if she knows who she is weaving and although her ability to derive spirit’s identities through develing into dreams to see their threads (the threads of fate) can give hints, that only give brief snapshots of the major moments of their life and doesn’t normally allow for a perfect tapestry. Moreover this takes time to do (generally like the dream cycle she can only see so much in 1 night) and requires materials as authentic as possible to complete the work and it takes a fair bit of time even with her skill to complete this (a week or more (possibly 2) dependent on their legend), also it can only affect any 1 heroic spirit at a time.

If used as a noble phantasm this skill would have anti-divine attributes which could allow it to strip away divine blessings and boons gifted upon a heroic spirit (such as all of Peseus’s equipment as everything was given or provided to him by the gods), a bunch of Achilles’ stuff (like his armor, his skin, and his shield), and Heracles’ Godhand (as it is a blessing by the Olympians (and even if it weren’t totally removed it would be weakened either in not granting total immunity to things which killed him before, not giving as many lives, or not requiring A rank attacks to kill him; or some combination of the three)). Were Arachne to be summoned as a foreigner this noble phantasm would have a far more devastating effect and power.

As this legend would mix with that of “The Spider God” she would have the ability to potentially merge the conscious with the unconscious thus granting her more power and influence in the realm of dreams, and potentially the ability to do two powerful feats A) to remove any sense of human individuality by overwriting the collective consciousness of the local area (or possibly if given enough power the world) with that of the Collective Unconsciousness of Humanity (essentially turning all of humanity into an extension of Alaya) and/or B) literally making it so a Heroic spirit cannot be summoned in a world anymore and if they were summoned they would rapidly fade away (unless the effect is reversed or they manage to do something to engrave themselves once more in the collective unconscious of the world before they die).

The way the ladder feat works is that humanity’s minds and lives, that is also by extension their souls, shapes the realm of dreams, the collective unconscious, by modifying or editing the collective unconscious that alters the life of all those within the world. Heroic spirits exist as recollections of figures of history, whose existence is confirmed by the world and affirmed by the root as having existed. They are given strength and allowed to manifest if they are in accordance with the world and if their lives hold mystery. Mystery as such is that which “might be”, that which lies within the realm of science and loses mystery, and that which cannot be or people are ignorant of cannot exist within a given realm as mystery as ignorance like acceptance is in denial of mystery.

As such if the collective mass of humanity and by extension their unconscious (or perhaps the reverse) are to deny knowledge of a particular figure, of their myths influence and existence, then even if the root confirms their existence humanity has rejected the possibility that “they may have been” and renounced their worship of them. This strips them of their mystery and removes their ability to functionally manifest or have any significant power in said world. It should be noted Foreigner isn’t altering the root, what she is doing is altering mankind’s memory and belief in a specific figure thus rendering them obsolete and thus unable to act. However functionally using either of these skills would be heavily costly in terms of mana and almost certainly draw the ire of both Gaia and Alaya so she would wish to refrain from doing such. However thankfully doing this would require several weeks (as in at least a month) or possibly over a year to do, so in a normal grail war it is highly unlikely to be able to be pulled off.

    Noble Phantasms

Ariadne’s Thread, the guiding path which grants one exodus – B+
A Noble Phantasm of Ariadne's which allows her to escape a location. Sepecifical;ly of sued when trapped in a location (like a place like atlas, a castle, a maze, or any other location which could be called labyrinthine) then it will provide one with an accurate way out of the maze. Even if the maze is of a nature that it always shifts as one moves through it, this thread cannot be lead satyr and will constantly adjust to give on the way out of the maze. The major advantage of this is if used in a maze with no exit a reality marble like Ozymandius’ temple or the labyrinth summoned by the Minotaur as a servant then the thread will make an exit to the maze and guide the user to it.

This is because Ariadne’s myth is that with it she escaped the horrors of the labyrinth as such it manifests that myth. As such it could be called similar to Sherlock Holmes’ Elementary noble phantasm, even if there is no answer clues will manifest in the world to lead one to the answer. Just as there cannot be a puzzle which Holmnes cannot complete if he tries due to his myth, there cannot be a maze which Araidne cannot escape with her thread due to her myth. In another way this noble phantasm could be symbolic of her own hope, trapped within that labyrinth she was determined that someone would save her and with this thread she found a way out of her prison.

Arachne, the beast borne of a shattered heart - B
A Noble phantasm which lets Ariadne switch herself to her other half and utilize her abilities and such, by using this noble phantasm again as Arachne she can revert back to normal. However due to being summoned as Ariadne being the main force controlling the saint graph, she has the most power, and her alternate form doesn’t even have a noble phantasm when switched to. Additionally, if Caster were to run out of magical energy or be commanded by a command seal to do so she would revert back to her normal form.

    Dev notes

Body consists of human upper half and spider lower half, therefore weight distribution should be 50.8 % (trunk (chest, abdomen, and back)), 9.4 % (neck and head), 5.4 % (upper arms), 3.2 % (forearms), 1 % (hands) of human body weight (~69.8 % of total weight as a human (for caster this would be 36.0866 kg) in addition to weight of spider components (which I couldn’t find good estimates for, considering that they have most of their organs in their abdomen and their legs are fairly large, I’m going to guess a conservative 75 to 80% of the weight goes there). Now using the Lycosa tarantula as a base for the design of the lower body (what most people think of as a tarantula which would be native to Europe, most people think of tarantulas when they think of spiders, and is one of the largest spiders they have there) and weighs 7 grams for the largest organisms, and has a max length of 4 cm, and guesstimating (as I couldn’t find good numbers on this) at max their height is no more that ½ their body length they have a max height of 2 cm.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lycosa_tarantula

    https://www.scielo.br/scielo.php?scr...92009000100008

Given a head height of 20.8 cm (1 cm below average for women) and a height as a human of 153 cm, then Caster is 7.356 heads tall. Given in proportion (see link below for details) a human’s lower body up to the top of their hips is 4 heads, cut out 83.2 cm from the 153 cm height to get a height of the upper body at 69.8 cm. Therefore the lower body must account for the remaining 87.2 cm height. This means that the lower part of the body scaled up will have to be 43.6 times larger than normal height and length as such its body length would be roughly 174.4 cm.

    https://66.media.tumblr.com/1aeefa33...rtqb70_540.png

    Credit to https://kaenith.tumblr.com/post/1306...ic-proportions

Now accounting for all that we now have to take into account the square cubed law which dictates that as we double the size of something, we octuple the weight (as we are doubling in the X Y and Z directions (thus 2^3=8)) now this isn’t perfect and has problem when you deal with anything (especially animals), however given mystery and phantasmal beasts care little for the laws of physics, let’s just use the simplified method. However given the issues of scale and the fact that wolf spiders are rarely anywhere near as big as we are estimating, Instead of dealing with the aforementioned scale factor of 46.6, we should also consider an alternative scaling factor in case ours isn’t great.

Now the Goliath Bird Eater isn’t all too closely related to the Lycosa tarantula, but it does provide better scaling due to its size and weight giving it likely a highly different body structure in terms of bone and muscle formation. As such it weighs up to 170 grams, and is up to 30 cm and based on the ½ rule earlier has a height of around 15 cm max. As such it would need to be scaled up a mere 5.8133 times it’s own size to reach the required size needed for our calculations. This would also make its total length 174.4 cm so I’ll guess that’s an accurate measure of body length, that would also make it.

    https://worldbuilding.stackexchange....ale-up-animals

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Goliath_birdeater

    Lycosa tarantula estimate: (58.133333^3)* 7 grams/1000 grams = 1375.225 kg (788.546 kg/m)
    Goliath Bird Eater: (5.8133333^3)*130 grams/1000 grams = 25.54 kg (14.644 kg/m)

Contextual Scale comparison, the Smooth Fronted Caiman size to weight ratio 2.3 m = 36 kg (15.65 kg /m), 1.6 m = 20 kg (12.5 kg/m) then on average the kg/m ratio should for animals designed to be this size be in the range of this although given differences in biology (warm versus cold blooded, different phylum, one evolved naturally to grow that big the other didn’t, etc.) this estimate is every rough at anything within this range is questionable. More accurate rangers could be guessed at anywhere from 25 kg/m to 200 kg/m. So a slightly better comparison may be needed here.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Smooth-fronted_caiman

Putting into a slightly better context a human, the average human male is 1.778 meters and ideally should weigh 79.83 kilograms. That gives a ratio of 44.898 kg/m, based on this and accounting for the fact that spider’s aren’t meant to normally be this big, I’m going this estimate as muscles, and organs needing to be stronger and more robust than anything else I’ve found, and Arachne is part spider part human.

    https://www.healthline.com/health/me...ound-the-world

    https://www.bannerhealth.com/staying...n/ideal-weight

Now considering the earlier approximation that a spider’s body minus the head weighs 80% it’s normal weight that means that Caster’s spider half should weigh 62.64 kg or around 140 pounds. Based on the earlier calculation of the weight of her human upper half being 36.0866 kg that brings her total weight up to 98.7266 kgs.

    Author's notes

Well this took a lot longer than I expected, Well what's done is done. Yeah I don't exactly dig the whole bleached version of Greek Myth and legend a lot of the Nasuverse purports. I want to try and show some of the heroes for what they are, and with Greek mythology that happen to be a lot of very very morally questionable people.

Compare and contrast the original Odysseus a man who was called one of the great womanizers of Greece with the version in Nasuverse and who actually was hated by Ajax the great who refused to see him in the afterlife, and genuinely was a very terrible person) or just people whose stories are a lot darker than normally shown (Ajax's father yeah Heracles threatened to murder the dude just cause and only relented cause the dude built a stone temple to him (which may have been the temple that the Einzbern family used the strong from to summon Heracles and make his axe in the 5th grail war)

Yeah when they say that Cu Chulainn is the Irish version of this guy, they aren't kidding, read some of Cu Chulainn's myths (specifically the one about his sword and shield) they parallel a lot with Heracles. Anyways I kinda considered making Arachne as a Foreigner but I decided against it, maybe I'll do one eventually if I can find an idea I like. However the whole bit about the familiars and the connections between Goddess and stuff may not align with the whole spoilers for Lostbelt 5 part 2 12 conceptual pillars thing, but as a person who studied history in a few classes in college, I honestly don't fully like or care for the conceptual pillars thing. As for one it directly contradicts the enormous amount of historical evidence that Ba'al and Sabazios among other older gods inspired Zeus as an idea and existed long before him. Two, I think it may contradict with what we were told about the old gods of Mesopotamia in Fate (I'd have to check the wiki for that). Lastly, honestly because I find it just bordering on very racism to say that "all gods and cultures everywhere" were inspired by the ideas and concepts of what the Greek gods were (ignoring Mycenaean culture and Minoan culture impacted shaped greek culture, and in turn those two were shaped by Mesopotamian mythology and by proxy if anything Mesopotamian or perhaps even Egyptian myth would have more to do with regional culture in Europe (not to mention that some places like Japan have very different ideas on what the sun and moon god represent and such and how they are represented)).

Either way, If it doesn't align with the material from Lostbelt 5 part 2, well I started writing it before then. Plus given my thoughts on that information I can't find it in myself to want to rewrite it to comply with the new material anyways. Also you may note that Caster doesn't exactly acre for or think highly of the knights of the round (and by proxy she really would care for the paladins of Charlemagne or the crusaders) as see sees them as people who justified being honestly fairly ineffectual or bad people who glorified bloodshed for some "higher cause" which wasn't worth it and still got massive recognition and fame in spite of the fact (ignoring that a lot of king Arthur's knights come from Celtic and Irish stories and by all accounts King Arthur was likely only retrofitted into a Christian figure after the fact).

So yeah if you claim to her that "I doing it for the greater good" and then she looks to see just how dreadful a person you are and what you've caused, that won't fly with her. Taking Gawain as an example, Gawain may have murdered King Lot along with his brothers spoilers for the original myths for killing someone wearing a helm which he likely didn't know was his dad, and his sheer vanity and obsession over being the best among Arthur's knights contributed to the rift which drove Lancelot for the knights and aided in the events which led to the kingdoms downfall (he is far form a innocent or perfect knight). Suffice to say that Caster likely wouldn't get along well with most heroic spirits in Chaldeas if she were summoned there (honestly if she were summoned I imagine they would literally have to use a command seal to stop her from talking as by the end of the week (or dependent on who is there, the end of the day) she would have a small army either angry or wanting her dead).

As for the idea of combining the two together honestly that was just a thought I came across at the time while I was going through the writing process. Either way as always leave a review if you have any question or comments and I'll get to them when I can. I am working on a few other servants and should at least one done this week (also sidetone I never want to have to try and calculate weight for animals and such which have no real human counterpart ever again as you can see in the Dev notes, it was a nightmare).

The compilations have hit a snag. Some of the words ended up getting blacked out but I have no idea how to fix that. Please help.

Even if some words got blacked out, couldn't you just revert them back with the color option? It might mean they don't match the rest of the links (since I'm not sure if that same shade of blue is included) but it'd at least make them visible. Assuming this is link-text you're talking about, if it's regular white text it'd be even simpler to fix.

Yeah, there's a small icon in the options where the letters are crossed out, if you hover it it's called "Remove Format" that you click when the text is highlighted and it puts it in the default BL format.

Or you could type it up in Word and copy paste here. Then just edit out the stuff once you see if there's a problem.

"King Olaf […] was distinguished for cruelty when he was enraged, and tortured many of his enemies. Some he burnt in fire; some he had torn in pieces by mad dogs; some he mutilated, or cast down from high precipices. On this account his friends were attached to him warmly, and his enemies feared him greatly; and thus he made such a fortunate advance in his undertakings, for some obeyed his will out of the friendliest zeal, and others out of dread.
    - Snorri Sturluson, Heimskringla

Main Sources: Historia Norwegiae, Heimskringla, Fagrskinna.

    Class: Rider.
    Alternate Classes: Caster.
    True Name: Olaf Tryggvason.
    Alignment: Lawful Evil.
    Place of Origin: Scandinavia.

    Parameters:
    STR: C
    END: C
    AGI: B
    MGI: A
    LCK: B+
    NP: A+

    Class Skills:
Magic Resistance: A-. A Skill that grants protection against magical effects. At this Rank, even High Thaumaturgy-level can be easily defeated by the Servant.
Thanks to all the stories and anecdotes of Tryggvason himself or his servants defeating or subjugating pagan enchantments, he has an abnormally high Rank in this Skill; however, it's useless against the sacraments of the Church and similar effects.

Riding: D. The ability to ride all mounts and vehicles (except for Phantasmal Species or similar) at only average skill.
Tryggvason's Rank in this Skill is unbecoming of a Rider, but that's because it's been mostly subsumed by his Voyager of the Storm Skill.

    Personal Skills:

Rune Magic: C. Possession of runes, the magecraft foundation of the Norse people. At this Rank, the Servant is proficient in wielding a restricted set of runes, but hasn't achieved true mastery yet. Tryggvason is only capable of using them for divination, to enhance the power and speed of his weapon attacks (similar to the Prana Burst Skill and its elemental subsets), or to supplement his own reserves of magical energy (essentially increasing his MGI Parameter by one Rank).

In life, many of his enemies called him Craccaben, "Crow-bone", and accused him of retaining his pagan ways. Tryggvason himself saw no contradiction between his professed devotion to Christianity and his usage of his ancestors' magic: as the one fated to rule the North in accordance with God's will, any weapon he employed was holy by nature.

Protection of the Faith (False): B. A form of divine protection granted not by a higher existence, but an absolute devotion to spiritual beliefs.
As the first Norwegian King to try and convert that land to Christianity, and as the king who successfully converted Iceland, Tryggvason was granted a Rank in this Skill appropriate for a saint, even though he was never recognised as one. Ultimately, however, it's a facade, one even Tryggvason himself doesn't acknowledge: the truth is that he did all of it for his own glory and power, and not that of Christ.

Voyager of the Storm: B. The ability to sail vessels recognised as ships, it also acts as a combination of Charisma and Military Tactics.
Tryggvason was a famed viking, a warlord and sea-raider who ascended to the throne thanks to his military prowess, but that is exactly what holds him back from true mastery of this Skill. It seems one can't walk the paths of a raider and a king at the same time...

    Noble Phantasms:

    Hungry Ravens Unfed
Never By Night or Day Was King Olaf Seen Again

    Type: Anti-Unit (Self).
    Rank: C.
    Range: 0.
    Max. No. of Targets: 1.

Long did a legend endure that Tryggvason never died at the Battle of Svolder, but instead escaped and lived on for many years after. This continously-active Noble Phantasm is a crystallisation of that legend: on a successful LCK check, it allows Tryggvason to survive any wound that would kill him and then withdraw from battle even if he's still in the midst of combat, regardless of how injured he is. As long as the check is successful, there are almost no limits to how much damage it lets Tryggvason endure - even near-total obliteration of his Spirit Core. However, it only works once; afterwards, it's completely sealed for the duration of that summoning. In addition, it might not work against abilities that impose a concept of "death" stronger than itself (such as the killing strike of a legendary skull-faced swordsman).

    Ormen Lange
Gallant King Olaf Sails to His Fate

    Type: Anti-Army.
    Rank: A+.
    Range: 0-40.
Max. No. of Targets: Deployment of three ships, each crewed by 40, 50, and 68 warriors respectively.

In life, Tryggvason had three longboats renowned above all others: Traninn (the Crane), a ship which served as his main vessel throughout his career as a viking; Ormen (the Serpent), the dragonship he took from Jarl Raud the Strong, a warlord and a wizard; and Ormen Lange (the Long Serpent), another dragonship, the most famous (and costly) of all the ships of the North, one he had built specifically to be based off Ormen, but much larger and sturdier. All three vessels were closely linked to the king, and all three were subsumed into this Noble Phantasm. When Tryggvason invokes its true name, all three ships are summoned together (with Crane and Serpent each chained to one of Long Serpent's sides with magical bindings) and act as a single vessel (just as it had been done at the Battle of Svolder).

In addition to the ships themselves, the Noble Phantasm also summons 158 warriors to act as crew, semi-autonomous Wraiths of those who stood with Tryggvason at Svolder. While they can't step foot outside the longboats, they can employ longbows that never run out of arrows for as long as Tryggvason supplies them with magical energy, and if boarded, they can also fight back in melee with swords, shields and spears. Even though they're only Wraiths, their overall fighting strength is at a level equal to Heroic Spirits of a lower grade; as for their arrows, not only are they individually strong enough to hurt even Servants, they can also be fired at a concentrated rate, increasing damage exponentially.

Additionally, all three ships still retain their legendary abilities, and thanks to the magical chains which link them, all three can be shared among the vessels at the same time: the Crane's speed and maneuverability far surpass that of any boat, being comparable to that of a supersonic vehicle; the Serpent is capable of summoning and controlling vast amounts of water (much like how Raud the Strong used his ship's magic to create maelstroms), which can be used for attack, defense, or even transportation (similar to a certain King of Knights' mastery over the wind), an ability which only grows stronger if there is already a body of water nearby to control; and the Long Serpent's dragon-headed prow can breathe blasts of fire as an A+-Rank Anti-Army attack.

If this Noble Phantasm has a weakness, is that it requires great expenditure of magical energy to use its abilities to the fullest, from summoning and arming all the Wraith warriors to firing off the great blasts of fire. While employing it, Tryggvason normally uses his runes to boost his reserves of magical energy and focuses on leading the summoned longships and their crews, but even then he requires support from the Master to maintain the Noble Phantasm working. There may be a remote possibility of anchoring the summoned vessels to the World by mirroring the original construction of the Long Serpent (including someone putting their life on the line, like Thorberg Smoothing Stroke did), but if so, no one has ever done it.

    The King Whom You Serve
Never the North Wild Sea Saw Such a Gallant Company

    Type: Anti-Unit (Self).
    Rank: B.
    Range: 0.
    Max. No. of Targets: 1.

While Tryggvason had no shortage of feats to his own name, he is known above all in the annals of history and legend as the king praised - and given credit - for the deeds of his many devoted followers, such as Einar Tambarskelver, Sigurd the Bishop, Erling Skjalgsson, Ivar the Gleaming, Norna-Gest, and many others, so much that he can borrow their own abilities for himself: Einar's skills with the longbow, Ivar's courage and mastery of sword and spear, Norna-Gest's knowledge and eloquence, and so on. This continuously-active Noble Phantasm grants a variety of different effects to Tryggvason: Bravery B, Charisma D, Clairvoyance C+, Expert of Many Specializations B, Eye of the Mind (True) B, Librarian of Stored Knowledge C, Narrator A, and Projectiles (Spears) B, possibly others as well. With this Noble Phantasm enhancing his own abilities, Tryggvason is proficient in a variety of forms of combat, to the point of rivaling Heroic Spirits of the Knight Classes. In melee, he uses either a spear or a sword, depending on the situation, but in general, he favours the longbow as his weapon of choice, using his rune magic to make his shots even deadlier by enhancing their power, speed, or appending elemental effects to them.

It might be possible to boost this Noble Phantasm far beyond it's current power by combining it with Ormen Lange and recreating Tryggvason's legendary followers as Heroic Spirits - but alas, Tryggvason lacks the magical energy to even attempt such a wondrous feat.

Lore: Olaf Tryggvason's early life was marked by suffering. His father was killed by Harald Greycloak, son of Eric Bloodaxe, before he was even born, and his mother was later murdered by a viking named Klerkon, who sold Olaf (still only a child by then) as a slave. However, good fortune smiled upon him after a few years, and thanks to the protection of generous Rus patrons, by the time he reached adulthood he was a successful warrior and raider. He might have lived the rest of his life as an adventuring viking and he would still be the subject of many tales, but that wasn't enough for him: he was the rightful descendant of Harald Fairhair, Norway's first king, and his soul was rotting without proper recognition.

The turning point was his meeting with a hermit gifted with future sight. This hermit revealed to him his future, that he would become a renowned king who would also bring his people to the Cross. Now burning with renewed purpose, Tryggvason turned from aimless pillaging to a single-minded pursuit of the Norwegian crown, until he finally ascended to the throne once the jarls and the people rebelled against Jarl Haakon, who ruled the land like a king.

His soul still wasn't at peace, however, for merely being king wasn't enough; he had to
truly bring the Norse lands under heel, so none would dare rise against him
bring the message of Christ to the Norse lands, as had been foretold
. For all of his short-lived reign, he threatened, tortured and executed all manners of pagans until Norway, Iceland, the Orkneys and parts of Denmark had accepted Christianity. Inevitably, his bloody methods provoked his downfall, brought by an alliance of disgruntled Norwegian jarls and the Swedish, Danish and Wendish kings, and he fell overboard at the Battle of Svolder and disappeared - although for many years it was said he had survived the battle and still lived in foreign lands.

Personality: In life, Olaf Tryggvason had been pious, courteous and charismatic, to the point even the immortal Norna-Gest had been impressed by his charm and majesty. However, that was a facade, even if he would never acknowledge it (not even to himself); in truth, he was a man driven by an obsession with power and the greatness he felt he was destined to, one who could be driven to a merciless, implacable fury if somehow challenged.

Everything seems alright, but you put my Lancer Vidar and Saber Fiore dei Liberi in the Roman section, which is weird since they are from Norse mythology and 1300 Italy respectively.

here is a list of my servant sheets(new and improved format for my servant sheets)

    “I have only one request.
    Leave me alone.”

    Must you bother me now?
I am in no mood for any human interaction or activity.
I understand of your desire for this Holy Grail, but frankly I couldn’t care less

Hmph, you truly are an especially annoying soul.
Let me be clear, I have no interest in listening to your pleas.
I don’t care if you’re my “Master”, don’t think you have any authority over me.

Now, please, get off my sight.

A shooting star, a clouding of the sight, a firework, an illusion, a drop of dew, a bubble, a dream, a lightning’s flash, a thunder cloud—
Everything is like that; whether it is love and enmity, peace and conflicts, longing and aversion, ignorance and knowledge.
It is not that I don’t acknowledge it; but in the grand scene, you and your annoying affection towards me are like that too.

Now, will you now let go of your attachment to me?
Or must I assist you to understand this better?

I've seen countless of pitiful creatures just like you, drowning in their own misery.
With this transcendent wisdom, I shall become the guiding star for you towards the path of liberation.

    Come, O lost souls.
Climb the stairs of this Sacred Temple.
Even if it is too, is illusory, I promise you Nirvana.

    You... reminds me of him.

I don't have any impossible request to give you
But I know you will blindly try to do whatever I ordered.
    It's the same with him.
The only difference is that he will actually succeed.

    Class: Caster
    True Name: Pramodhawardhani
    Gender: Female
    Alignment: Lawful Neutral
    Origin: Historical Facts, Javanese Folklore
    Attribute: Man

Among the myriad mysterious temples scattered across the plains of Java, two of them stood prominently above others. One of them is a Buddhist temple, the largest in the world, called Borobudur, the other is a Hindu temple called Prambanan, also known as Roro Jonggrang, named after the legendary figure of a queen who was said to be the key figure of the construction of those buildings.

    Parameters:
    STR: C
    END: E
    AGI: B
    MGI: A+
    LCK: B
    NP: EX

    Class Skills:
    Item Creation: C
Because she can call upon spirits to create, build and fetch things for her, Caster’s Item Creation is not that special.

    Territory Construction: EX
Able to construct two Greatest Temples of Java, Prambanan and Borobudur, she receives the highest rank for this skill.

    Personal Skills:
    Desire Realm – Charisma: B (A+)
The capability of Caster as a Queen, it is the skill to command respect and authority over her subjects. Perhaps it is just the side effect of her charm, but Caster might even unwittingly make someone hopelessly infatuated to the point of able to endure her abuses.

    Form Realm – Illusion: C (A)
Reigning over her mandala, Caster gains understanding that the world is nothing but maya—illusory, and able to dictate and modify it. True to her legends, she is capable of feats such as creating a bottomless pit trap and even manipulating day and night.

    Formless Realm – Prajñāpāramitā
    : - (EX)
A skill that’s available only through Caster’s Borobudur Noble Phantasm. Ascending into the Formless Realm and attaining bodhisattvahood, Caster assumes the role of Tara, receiving the skill Enlightenment of the Sacred Fig, Clairvoyance and Mystic Eyes of Transcendental Wisdom.

By perceiving all things as nothing and illusory, through a lens of absolute transcendence, Caster’s Mystic Eyes wipes clean something of its properties and attributes. Rather than just rendering conceptual attacks or defenses void, it is more like “the nullification of concepts” itself.

    Noble Phantasms:
    Bhūmi Sambhāra Buddhāra
Mountain of Combined Virtues of the Ten Stages of Enlightenment
    Type: Anti-Unit (Self)
    Rank: EX
Borobudur. The largest Buddhist temple in the world, it was constructed during Caster’s father, Samaratungga’s reign, but was fully finished and inaugurated during Caster’s reign.

As a Noble Phantasm, the construction of this temple does not require materials, but a full day of uninterrupted meditation (or being left alone in general). Only after Caster reached the state of Enlightenment, it becomes possible to manifest this Noble Phantasm into the world.

After its manifestation, this temple acts as a beacon to lost souls and spirits, attracting those who seeks nirvana, and becomes a temporary host for spirits and arhats. It becomes possible for Caster to form contract with those beings in order to assist her in multitude of things such as combat, or construction of her other Noble Phantasm. If she’s (un)lucky, she might even find her husband in there.

In addition, by shifting her state of spirit thought the three realms represented on the temple, Caster also shifts her Saint Graph between ascensions, and receives a boost to one of her Skills.

    Rara Jonggrang
Thousand Temples of the Three Forms
    Type: Fortress
    Rank: EX
Prambanan. One of the largest Hindu temple in the world, dedicated to the Trimurti; Brahma the Creator, Vishnu the Preserver, and especially, Shiva the Destroyer. In the legends, it is said that this temple was constructed by an army of demons and spirits led by Caster’s husband, Rakai Pikatan, as part of her marriage requirement, and as such this Noble Phantasm properly belongs to him. Because she is Buddhist, Caster actually dislikes using it herself.

As a Noble Phantasm, it requires just as much materials and supernatural manpower which Rakai Pikatan said to possess in the legends, so if not for Caster’s other Noble Phantasm, it is impossible for her to use it.

When properly constructed, this Noble Phantasm consisted of exactly a thousand of small temples which in its own can be utilized as armaments with the capacity of a thousand Noble Phantasms. Most of these temples are identical in form and utility, but they are consistently grouped into three types of powers: Creation, Preservation, and Destruction.

The last thousandth temple is a temple dedicated to the goddess Durga, in Caster’s own image. Using this temple as a Noble Phantasm allows Caster to channel the divine power of Durga into herself, significantly boosting her parameters, magecraft and access to a form of martial arts that is effective against demonic and evil attributed enemies. Additionally, if this Noble Phantasm is used by Rakai Pikatan, this temple piece is basically is a way for him to summon Caster.

Happy 50 pages! Regarding the compilation, I think you missed my Alcina sheet there, also Descartes' Evil Demon is a Berserker instead of Caster. Other than that, things seem to be in order, at least when it comes to my sheets. Big thanks to Lambda.

Pramodhawardhani: Wow, I read the tale of Rara Jonggrang as a kid, and I say this is a pretty good interpretation of her character. Admittedly I'm not too well-versed in Hinduism, but you managed to explain and tie them clearly to her skills and NP. Overall, good job.

Great work, Lambda! I'll update the main index ASAP.

And done. I've also put the misplaced sheets in their proper section, as well as added BnEl15's Alcina and kiwi's Cugnot Alter, which were missing. The contest index has been updated as well.

Thanks for notifying, Koga. I'll get to fix it.

I had a quick look at your contest sheet. It was funny that you decided to go with Persephone too, and it's definitely an improvement from your past sheets, even if it still has some flaws (after all this time I shouldn't ask you to do it, but PLEASE try to fix your grammar). Hopefully we see more sheets from you with at least this level of quality

"Servant Caster, descending to answer your call! Eh, Kaguyahime? That sounds way too pretentious. Just call me Takenoko instead, 'kay?"

    Servant Caster
    :

    Appearance:

    Source

    True Name: Kaguyahime

    Alignment: Neutral Good

    Strength- E
    Agility- D
    Endurance- C+
    Mana- A+
    Luck- D
    NP- EX

    Personality
At first glance Caster acts like a Japanese proper lady; elegant, demure and dignified. However she's actually quite tomboyish, preferring to run off on her own and have fun than be cooped up in a stifling court. Being a visitor from the moon she's eager to see the human world and greets every sight with childlike curiosity. She has a fondness for rabbits, perhaps because of their shared origins in allegedly coming from the moon. She also likes science fiction, though she'll loudly criticize anything she finds 'inaccurate'. "No, no, the moon-people weren't that way at all. Here, let me tell you what they were REALLY like..."

Beyond her cheerful demeanor Caster actually hides deep regrets. In life she was torn between two worlds, never truly belonging to either one and forced to leave her new home just after she'd truly accustomed to it. Thus Caster's wish on the Holy Grail would be to somehow reunite with all her old friends, both on the moon and on earth.

"Ooh, I've got an idea, maybe we can just smash 'em together? No, that'd totally kill everyone... hmm, let me think this through..."

Likes: to run in the bamboo forests, rabbits, science fiction, honest men
    Dislikes: pushy suitors, homesickness
Talent: everything necessary for a lunar princess
Natural Enemy: Tamamo No Mae, Caligula

    Class Skills:

    Territory Creation- A-
The ability to formulate a territory advantageous to oneself as a Magus. Using her remaining authority as lunar princess Caster can reconstruct a sliver of the
    Tsuki No Miyako
    Moon Palace
she once lived in. Said "Moon-Palace" takes the form of a large and opulent Japanese-style manor, only it's made entirely from polished crystal.

Within the Palace Caster can call on moon-rabbit guards to defend her. Furthermore as the moon is conceptually "outside of" earth any bonuses a Servant would obtain from being summoned in their homeland or cultural sphere are stripped away while inside Caster's territory. This makes an exception for heroes who actually journeyed to the moon in life, like Astolfo or Neil Armstrong.

However, while she once longed for her original homeland now Caster is of the opinion that it was her time on earth- as fleeting and painful as that may have been- that was truly precious. As such she usually prefers not to use this Skill to recreate her original Moon Palace despite being fully capable of doing so, to avoid bringing back painful memories of how she only realized what was really important once it was too late. Instead, Caster favors creating a simple Japanese-style wooden house for her to dwell in, that reminds her of her former home with her adoptive parents. This displays the equivalent effects to a standard Magus' workshop.

Within bamboo-rich environments Caster can also through her first Personal Skill mold the bamboo into a domain for herself.

    Item Construction- A
A talent to craft items tinted with magical energy. At this rank, even constructing an elixir of limited immortality becomes possible.

    Personal Skills:

    Takenoko- B+
A title literally meaning "Bamboo Shoot". In Caster's case however it translates to "Bamboo Girl". A playful nickname given to her by the local boys in her village for how she was magically "born" within a stalk of bamboo and sprouted up from a newborn babe to beautiful teenage girl in a matter of months, just like the incredible growth-rate of bamboo.

As it alludes to her preternatural vitality and growth this Skill bestows Caster an accelerated healing ability. Minor slashes and bruises can be easily recovered from in mere minutes, while even severe wounds will heal far faster than an ordinary person. Additionally as Caster was born from a stalk of bamboo she exercises an instinctive (Nature Spirit-like) authority over the concept of bamboo itself.

Caster obtains + modifiers to all her stats while in bamboo-rich environments. As well she can freely command the bamboo itself, letting it grow out like spears to pierce her foes, or condensing it to form defensive barriers. Any bamboo Caster uses is imbued with mystery, so it's capable of damaging Servants even if she's not directly wielding it.

Longing Towards The Distant Moon- C
As legend goes, Caster would often gaze up at the full moon and sing a sorrowful sweet melody out of nostalgia for her former homeland. Sublimated as a Skill, Caster's song awakens feelings of longing towards one's homeland in all who listen to it. If they fail a mental resistance check, enemies will be overcome by sadness and lose the will to fight. Servants who have anecdotes of being exiled, estranged from their homeland in life are especially susceptible to this.

However, since it reminds her of her own regrets Caster herself dislikes using this Skill. "I'd much rather sing about cheerful things, right?" So the girl herself says with a strained smile.

Golden Rule (Wealth & Body)- A
A composite of Golden Rule that denotes one's gift for amassing money, as well as possession of a truly splendid goddess-like body.

At this rank, Caster is unnaturally beautiful, her body immune to age or tarnishing even without the benefits of being summoned as a Servant. On the other side of this Skill she can effortlessly acquire wealth to the point where money problems are effectively unknown to her. Tripping on a rock and just happening to find a cache of buried treasure underneath it wouldn't be an unusual occurrence for Caster.

She obtains this Skill due to both the legend of her possessing an alluring beauty that drew countless suitors from across Japan, as well as how her father found gold coins hidden in a bamboo tree that he stockpiled to build a mansion for her, catapulting Caster from humble village-girl to pampered princess virtually overnight.

...Gifted with both riches and good looks, she would come off as a spoiled brat if she weren't so darn good-natured about it.

    Divinity- E-/EX
Qualifies one's aptitude as a Divine Spirit. Being an exiled moon goddess Caster would originally possess a high rank in this Skill. However as she's been stuck on earth and lost all but her vestiges of divinity, it's been reduced to E-rank. Rises back to EX upon invocation of her second Noble Phantasm.

    Noble Phantasms
    Itsutsu No Fukanōna Yōkyū
    Five Impossible Requests

    Rank: D~A+

    Type: Variable

A Noble Phantasm encompassing the five impossible requests Caster made to her suitors. Not wanting to be married off to a random stranger, she presented tasks to get mythical items that couldn't be found anywhere in the world. Only upon conquering these quests would they be permitted to marry her. Similar to Ushiwaka's Shana-oh's Wandering Tales Noble Phantasm, the five requests Caster made have been folded into a single Noble Phantasm. By invoking its true name followed by the treasure in question, Caster can manifest it.

These items- and the boons they grant to Caster- are listed below as follows:

    Spoiler:
First Impossible Request: Buddha's Begging Bowl

    Rank: C+

    Type: Barrier

The stone begging bowl said to have been used by the Buddha in ancient times. Reflecting the Buddha's philosophy of peace and nonviolence, when Caster pours her Mana into it the bowl projects a shimmering green energy barrier that nullifies all attacks carrying violent intentions.

The barrier's power rises in proportion to the attacker's hostility, becoming nearly unbreakable against sadistic or bloodthirsty opponents. Conversely, those who have no wish to fight Caster but are merely solemnly carrying out their duties will find it easier to break through. Additionally this sub-Noble Phantasm has no effect on threats that carry no violent intent, like from mindless automata or unguided natural phenomena.

Second Impossible Request: Jeweled Branch Of Penglai

    Rank: A

    Type: Anti-Death

A jewel-incrusted tree branch from Penglai, a mythical island said to be the dwelling place of the Eight Immortals in Chinese mythology. Caster has recarved it into a staff she carries with her. The "jewels" hanging from the branch are actually fruits, so radiant and glimmering that they resemble gemstones. Carrying the concept of a place without death or sorrow, eating these fruits has the power to cure any injury or ailment afflicting the digester. In the Grail War Caster only has five of the fruits available, so they aren't to be used carelessly. They can regrow over time, but that takes a full week.

By planting the staff into the ground, Caster can establish a Bounded Field recreating the true island of Penglai, a utopia where the very concepts of death, sadness or material want are unheard of. Within the Bounded Field enemy and allies alike are purified of any status ailments like poisons, disease and curses. Additionally Caster and all those she deems allies receive a rank up to their Strength, Endurance and Mana parameters.

Once erected, the Bounded Field spans roughly 30 feet in all directions. The branch itself stands at the center, having sprouted back up into a towering prismatic tree that serves as lynchpin for the Bounded Field. Visually, within the Bounded Field a faint mirage-like image of paradisal islands and gently rolling waves can be seen overlapping the normal environment. However, this effect only lasts for a single day. After that, the tree will wither and disappear, and this sub-Noble Phantasm becomes unusable for the rest of the Grail War. It will also be destroyed preemptively if the tree itself is damaged beyond repair.

    Third Impossible Request: Fire-Rat's Robe

    Rank: D

    Type: Support

A robe woven from the skins of the Chinese Fire-Rat, a mythical beast said to be impervious to flames. By wearing it Caster gains protection from fire and heat equivalent to the Fire Rat itself. She's completely untouchable to fire-based attacks, able to bathe in the hottest inferno without even singing an eyelash.

The robe is also still somewhat alive, and can regenerate from minor attacks. By sacrificing it Caster can summon the Fire Rat itself, a Phantasmal Beast akin to the Greek elemental spirit Salamander. The Fire Rat can scurry at great speed and cloak itself in flames for a powerful charging attack. It serves as a familiar and obeys all of Caster's orders, though it has a somewhat mischievous and playful personality.

    Fourth Impossible Request: Dragon Jewel

    Rank: A+

    Type: Support/Anti-Army~City

A jewel taken from the throat of a mighty Eastern seadragon. It's a large spherical gemstone roughly the size of an egg, that shimmers with ethereal blue-green hues. Faintly, storms and raging waves can be made out swirling inside the orb.

As a gem from the apex of Phantasmal Races in the Age of Gods, it crystallizes an immense saturation of magical energy surpassing even Rin's hundred-year old jewels. It serves as a substitute Mana-core for Caster that supplies her with A+ ranked Independent Action and Magic Resistance just by having it.

Furthermore, Caster can channel the Eastern dragon's authority over wind and seas to perform storm-evocation Magecraft. Even though she has no training as a Magus, with the Jewel Caster can realize powerful water, wind and electricity spells. Lashing rain that pierces like bullets, cyclonic winds that slice flesh like butter and hungry tendrils of crackling lightning are just the tip of the iceberg for spells she can bring forth.

As a last resort, Caster can shatter the orb, releasing all the stored Mana and elemental affinity at once in a single almighty burst. This creates an utterly massive storm, akin to the
    Kamikaze
    Divine Winds
that wrecked the Mongol fleet in ancient times but even more powerful. An area the size of an entire city would be consumed in raging floods, tornado-force winds and relentless peals of lightning. It can only be likened to an apocalyptic event from ancient mythology. Only Caster herself and her Master are guaranteed safety from this disaster. All else are bombarded with the wrath of God.

Naturally, given her kindhearted personality Caster is utterly loath to use this aspect of her sub-Noble Phantasm for fear of the massive destruction and loss of life it'd inevitably invite. Being in a completely isolated area like an enemy's Reality Marble where there's no risk of civilians getting hurt is the only situation where she'd remotely consider using it. It's also worth noting that this ability only activates if Caster herself willingly breaks the orb, not merely if it's destroyed accidentally in battle.

Fifth Impossible Request: Swallow's Cowrie Shell

    Rank: C

    Type: Support

A special cowrie shell supposedly used as a charm by swallows upon giving birth. Caster opts for wearing the shell around her neck as a pendant. As a sub-Noble Phantasm it carries the concept of blurring sea and sky, letting Caster both breath freely underwater and "swim" through the air itself.

Because this request ended up costing the suitor's life who foolishly tried to fulfill it, Caster herself dislikes using it due to harboring a severe amount of regrets over the incident.

    Getsujō Shōten
    Embassary Of The Moon

    Rank: EX

    Type: Support

A Noble Phantasm recreating the end of Caster's legend where she, much to her sadness, had to return to the moon, abandoning her former friends. By invoking its true name Caster reclaims her original status as a Moon Goddess. A blinding silvery-white light engulfs her and her Divinity Skill rises to EX-rank. As well her parameters are twice ranked up and she obtains the Skill Mana Burst (Moonlight) at rank A+, letting her expel powerful blasts of moonlight from her hands and staff. Lastly Caster can summon larger numbers of her moon-rabbit familiars, and even a lunar chariot that's akin to a futuristic spaceship.

However, tapping into the power of a full Divine Spirit strains Caster's Saint Graph irreparably. Just one hour after invoking this Noble Phantasm her Saint Graph will shatter and Caster vanishes entirely from the World, returning to the Throne of Heroes. Thus it essentially re-enacts her "ascension" from the mortal world in legend. As Caster instead wishes to cling to her ties with the humans, she refuses to use this Noble Phantasm normally. Only if needed to save her newfound friends would Caster bring forth this last-resort trump card.

So after watching Ghibli's Kaguya movie I got inspiration to write up this sheet. I know there's been a few Kaguya sheets before on this forum that all had variants of the Five Requests as NPs, but I tried to make my takes distinct. I had quite a bit of fun coming up with unique effects for each one. As usual, comments and critiques would be welcome. Thanks for reading!

    Class and Personal Skills

    Class Skills

    Magic Resistance (E):
A skill that denotes a Servant’s ability to resist or cancel magic. At this rank Lancer is unable to cancel spells but reduce the effects a little. Born in an era where machines and industry was on the rise, science ruled over magic and so magic became few and far between.

    Personal Skills

    Inherent Wisdom (B):
A skill given to a Servant in recognition of their feats of wisdom or for the creation of a scientific advancement such as taming lightning. Provides a rank up equal the difference between this skill’s Rank and Lancer’s MAG stat after a spell has been used.

The skill that makes up for Lancer’s low magic resistance. Due to being born in a era where science was on the rise, the use of magic was few and far between, this lead Lancer to study science instead. Through his wisdom in science, Lancer is able to breakdown the make up of high level thaumaturgy and greater rituals and reduce the effects even further after the first casting.

    Light of Possibilities (C+):
A skill given to a Servant in recognition of their ability to see the light in everything. This light can be as abstract as the good in humanity itself or the pure will to protect everyone around you. This skill provides a rank up in LCK.

In life Lancer longed for freedom for the world. This longing is most apparent in the meaning behind his iconic marvels, both stand for the births of freedom in two nations. this longing for the freedom of humanity manifested itself in the form of a skill. Now as a Servant, Lancer strives to protect that freedom that the world has obtained as a defender of the righteous.

Child of Industry ~ Marvel Maker ~ (A):
A unique skill given to Servants whose legends arose during or because of the industrial era. This skill acts as a pseudo Territory Creation skill of the same rank and allows the Servant to create a domain akin to “Eiffel Works” that is greater than a workshop in replace of an existing structure. With sufficient mana and materials, this workshop allows for the creation of golems or other structures.

The skill that idealizes Lancer’s profession that made his legend possible. An engineer by profession, the time in which he was born only propelled his desire to create works of modern marvel. This skill allows Lancer to create the workshop needed for his first Noble Phantasm to be used. With sufficient materials, Lancer is able to create Golems and weaponry that can be used by the golems at a relatively fast pace however he cannot construct his noble phantasm and golems at the same time.

    Noble Phantasms

    Libertas
    Liberty Enlightening the World
    Anti-Army Noble Phantasm (B)
    Targets: 10 (1-10), Buster
A pseudo Noble Phantasm that Lancer can call upon after creating it. Libtertas takes the form of a giant bronze mechanical Golem in the form of the Roman goddess of freedom of the same name. This golem comes with a rank of B STR and END and a rank of E for MAG. Due to Lancer’s legend of construction Libertas in his workshop, this Noble Phantasm must first be constructed before it can be called upon. The materials needed to construct this noble phantasm must be the same as the original construct but the time needed to create it can be levied by the amount of mana expended during the creation process.

“Subjugation is stagnation, and that stagnation is the antithesis of evolution and change. The freedom that evolution provides is the light of humanity. Now sound the horns! Fire up the engines! Build the symbol of humanity’s new found light. LIBERTAS

    Exposition Universelle de Eiffel
My Marvel that Shines Across the World
    Anti-City Noble Phantasm (A+)
Targets: size of Paris (population of Paris), Arts
Lancer’s true Noble Phantasm, the realization of the dreams inspired by his most iconic creation, the Eiffel Tower. Since it’s creation, the Eiffel Tower has stood as a physical representation of the hopes and dreams of millions of people. When invoked, Exposition Universelle de Eiffel creates a beam of light that surrounds where lancer stands. This light is made up of the pure forms of the hopes and dreams that the Eiffel Tower creates converted into pure magical energy. This light then forms into a glowing tower resembling the Eiffel Tower. Then upon the declaration of this Noble Phantasm’s name, a ring of light of incredible power is shot out from the tower reaching the area of the city of Paris. While to the outside observer this attack might seem like just a ray of light, this attack is truly considered hope personified. Due to Lancer’s love of architecture, this attack does not harm structures but instead all enemies within them. As long as the light of his Noble Phantasm touches his enemy they receive the full effects of the blast.

“What is impossible? Nothing I say to you. Has humanity not unlocked secret after secret of this world? What is impossible today is common the next. Let us seize this opportunity. Shine forth and give the world a symbol of possibilities. EXPOSITION UNIVERSELLE DE EIFFEL”

    Background

Lancer was born into a family of modest wealth. Not one of power but also not one that lived paycheck to paycheck. During his formative years, lancer often complained about his schooling being to boring an easy. This boredom accompanied Lancer until he approached the railway engineer Charles Nepveu, who quickly noticed Lancer’s potential and took lancer under his wing.

At the end of 1866 Lancer managed to borrow enough money to set up his own workshops at 48 Rue Fouquet in Levalois-Perret. Where he began to quickly grow a name for himself in the world of architecture. Most notably creating two bridges in both Spain and South America. By the Exposition Universelle in 1878 firmly established his reputation as one of the leading engineers of the time.

Then then his first marvel was born. In 1881 Lancer was contacted by Auguste Bartholdi who was in need of an engineer to help him to realise the Statue of Liberty. Lancer then devised a structure consisting of a four legged pylon to support the copper sheeting which made up the body of the statue. The entire statue was erected at the Eiffel works in Paris before being dismantled and shipped to the United States.

After the birth of this modern marvel and representation of freedom Lancer took to planning his next miracle. The design for his tower was exhibited at the Exhibition of Decorative Arts in the autumn of 1884. The tower had been a subject of some controversy, attracting criticism both from those who did not believe it feasible and from those who objected on artistic grounds. Just as work began at the Champ de Mars, the "Committee of Three Hundred" (one member for each metre of the tower's height) was formed, led by Charles Granier and including some of the most important figures of the French arts establishment. However, Lancer was able to complete it I’m just a mere 2 years since breaking ground. Completing a modern marvel akin to pyramids in Egypt. The tower was later named after him. Lancer spoke of this tower as not only modern art, but also the culmination of the last era and it’s impact on the freedom of humanity and science.

Lancer is not normally what one would call a heroic spirit. In life he did not fight some great evil or was born of divine lineage, instead lancer was called upon by the throne of heroes due to the fame two of his most iconic works have gained and the emotions they inspire. As long as those monuments stand, Lancer’s memories cannot vanish. lancer is normally summoned in the CASTER class, if a spark of hope is added to the incantation for his summon, he can manifest in the LANCER class. If summoned in the CASTER class, his Noble Phantasms retain the same name but change effects.

    Personality & Lines

    Personality:
One thing is for sure in this world, that is that change is constant ultimately requiring courage and adaptability to forge a name for oneself. The era in which Lancer was born only fuels this notion as science was beginning to change everything about life. Due to this Lancer’s care free soul was able to blossom and thrive. It was said that he had never met a stranger and would go out of his way to meet new and interesting people. This love of people and carefree attitude only fed his love of freedom. Lancer was known as an anti-monarchist and staunch proponent of freedom for the world.

    Lines:

    Ascension 1:
“Ah, yes! These tools will work just nice!”

    Ascension 2:
“Oh! Master! Could you look in to buying me these tools next? “

    Ascension 3:
    “Don’t worry, it’s just a smudge. “

    Ascension 4:
“Master! Thank you so much, here, these are the plans for our next marvel!”
