If you stare at a particular fact for too long but have a gut feeling, go with it. If you can't decide, walk away and do something for a while to distract yourself.

    I genuinely forgot to give him Class Skills. Whoops. I decided to just give him a Class Skill named Watcher in the end that lets him 'watch' the Grail War in a way that doesn't step on the Ruler Class' toes too much.

    Anyway, the bit about him somehow getting a Labour and completing it himself - that's just a plot hook, pure and simple. I'm not planning on actually using him in a story, but I do like to add that kind of thing in because it adds a little extra.

    Samuel Balto was a Northern Saami explorer and adventurer. Born in Norway and working as a humble woodcutter, he was courted by the explorer and polymath Fridtjof Nandsen to participate in the first-ever crossing of the interior of Greenland. This experience left an indelible mark on the young man, leading him to write a book about the journey. He would also join another northern expedition later in life: the Lapland-Yukon Relief Expedition, which had the aim of introducing reindeer to the Alaskan natives who were forced by the American government to adopt a sedentary lifestyle, as well as transporting goods and letters to the miners of the working during the Alaskan Gold Rush.

    The data here can certainly prove why Samuel Balto is qualified for the Voyager class. However, none of these can accurately account for his current appearance. For that, one must turn to the other existence residing in Voyager's Saint Graph.

    Balto was a Siberian Husky and sled dog belonging to musher and breeder Leonhard Seppala. He achieved fame when he reportedly led a team of sled dogs driven by Gunnar Kaasen on the final leg of the 1925 serum run to Nome, in which diphtheria antitoxin was transported from Anchorage, Alaska, to Nenana, Alaska, by train and then to Nome by dog sled to combat an outbreak of the disease.

    Due to their shared name and similar exploits, man and dog answer the summons as a collective existence dwelling within a single Saint Graph.

    For the purposes of the succeeding sections, the human Samuel Balto will be referred to as "Samuel", and the dog Balto as "Balto".

    Although most people would find it challenging to have a second consciousness sharing a brain with them, this isn't the case with Samuel and Balto. Their motivations are the same, so they can put aside the rare difference in opinion in favor of their mission. The degree of their compatibility is such that both are comfortable with switching places as the dominant consciousness based on the demands of the situation. Depending on who's the dominant consciousness, the character traits of the other can also surface, but only at the level of reflex reactions.

    Individually speaking, Samuel is a typical phlegmatic "man of the tundra". Emotions rarely show on his face, but because he's currently manifesting with canine characteristics, his true feelings are betrayed by the movements of his tail. Though reticent, his level-headed demeanor has historically been a great boon to his more excitable counterparts.

    Although he started out as a salt-of-the-earth woodcutter, encouragement from friends and family, as well as the once-in-a-lifetime journey with Herr Nandsen brought out an adventurous side of Samuel. The type of person who goes along with the mood of the group, he reverts to his original keep-your-head-down personality when alone.

    On the other hand, Balto is a dog who loves being spoiled, but only by people he has a close bond with. There's also an instilled sense of responsibility as a matter of course, but the main motivation of this animal consciousness is head pats and warm blankets.

    Differences aside, the goals of these two individuals who share the name "Balto" are fundamentally the same: "to bring hope". Such is the foundation of their respective legends: Samuel was part of the courier team that made the Lapland-Yukon Relief Expedition, and Balto was part of the dogsled team that made the 1925 Serum Run. They thus answer the summons as a collective in order to once more undertake their most important journey.

    Relationships
    Master
    Their relationship is initially that of a courier and his customer. Over time, this may develop into the relationship that exists between comrades on the same expedition.

    Hessian Lobo
    Their relationship is that of a lord distrustful of a loyal retainer. Lobo cannot understand how a human and a canine can work together as harmoniously as they do in the person of Samuel Balto.

    Voyager
    Samuel feels great empathy for this existence, who is forced to undertake perhaps humanity's greatest voyage alone. Thus, he (very reluctantly) allows Voyager to treat him like a disproportionately large pet.

    Togo
    Balto has developed a significant inferiority complex towards him, so never mention this name around him. On the off chance that you do, his body will visibly sag, and he will refuse to come out of his room for three days, no matter what bribes are employed.
    CLASS SKILLS
    Self-Replenishment (Mana): C
    One's Magical Energy endlessly surges until their journey is accomplished. Recovers a minuscule amount of magical energy every turn. The recovery rate is similar to that of eating gas station food while trying to complete one's delivery shift.

    Independent Action: E
    The ability to remain independent even when rejecting the Magical Energy supply from one's Master. At this rank, independent materialization is only possible for 30 turns. Due to the exploits of both the human Samuel Balto the dog Balto being "journeys that required team members/companions", Voyager's capacity to act independently is low.

    PERSONAL SKILLS
    Courier: A
    The ability to safely carry important items through large distances. Conceptually reduces the chance of to-be-delivered items being broken or lost. At this rank, such incidents are completely unknown.

    Canine Transformation: C
    A subspecies Skill of Transformation. Allows one to transform into a dog or dog-like creature (such as a wolf). Differing from Lycanthropy, the bearer of this Skill can control the timing and extent of the transformations. In essence, it's similar to the skin-changing abilities possessed by warriors and shamans of various cultures.

    Samuel Balto's initial appearance already possesses canine features due to the influence of the dog Balto. That said, full transformation into a quadrupedal being is only accomplished when the requisite frame of mind is achieved (that is, when Balto takes the helm).

    Joik: EX
    The unique singing style of the Saami, a people that reside within the Arctic circle. This style has roots in shamanistic tradition, and uses vocalizations that mimic nature, rather than lyrics, to convey a message. Because of this, it's become recognized as an ability that approaches Magecraft when it comes to conveying messages.

    Due to receiving canine attributes upon summoning, Samuel Balto's joik becomes closer to a wolf's howl. Area of effect is greatly increased, and it becomes possible to use joik to communicate with all sorts of animals. However, it's limited to relaying information, and so cannot be used to command them.

    My Race: part of the title of Samuel Balto's expedition journal. The crystallization of the dog Balto's and the human Samuel Balto's shared dream of "being bearers of hope".

    A self-suggestion technique that can be activated whenever Samuel Balto is attempting to deliver something. Upon True Name release, it forcibly applies up to three plus-modifiers to his Strength, Endurance, and Agility parameters, based on "how important this package is to its receiver". It's also possible to forcibly acquire a C-rank Battle Continuation skill through this process.

    On the downside, this Noble Phantasm greatly increases the rate of Samuel Balto's magical energy consumption, and can even overpower the returns given by his Self-Replenishment (Mana) Skill. On the upside, the "package" that he is attempting to deliver does not need to be a physical object, strictly speaking; this Noble Phantasm can be activated even if he is tasked with delivering news through word of mouth, for example.

    In Norse mythology, Geršr is a jötunn, goddess, and the wife of the god Freyr.

    In the legends, the wooing of Geršr began when the god Freyr sat on the high seat Hlidskjalf and looked into all worlds. He saw a beautiful girl walking from the hall of her father to a storehouse and instantly became heartsick for the girl. Resolving to acquire this girl as his bride, Freyr descends into the lower realms as a man named Skirnir.

    Upon arriving at the maiden's home, Skirnir is accosted by the residence's guard dogs, and forbidden to speak to the girl by the a passing herdsman. Still, Skrinir persists, and he enters the house to the greeting of the fair maiden, whose name, he learns, is Geršr.

    Thus refreshed by mead and meat, Skirnir begins his quest to win Geršr's hand.
    First, Skirnir promises Geršr with great riches, up to and including the multiplying ring of Odin, Draupnir. Geršr refuses.
    Next, Skirnir ■■■■■■■■■■■■ Geršr with great ■■■■■■■■■■■■, up to and including ■■■■■■■■■■■■. Geršr still refuses.
    Lastly, Skirnir, at his wits' end, draws his sword Gambanteinn and ■■■■■■■■■■■■. Geršr finally accepts the proposal, and promises to meet Freyr at her forest-island Barri.

    That is all Alter Ego Geršr remembers. That is all the Alter Ego Geršr should remember. For the wounds carved into the jötunn Geršr's body and mind by the whims of the gods were so deep that the only means of escaping them would be to "make it so that it happened differently in my head". This is the raison d'etre of Geršr as a member Alter Ego class: a rare bloom that wished to forget the brutality with which she was deflowered.

    A young lady who, having received a proposal from a gentleman of great importance, got married as soon as she was of age. Geršr's appearance at the time of summoning is from when she was first approached by Skirnir. She has a clear memory of her time in her father's house, but Skirnir's proposal is a dim blur to her, and she totally cannot remember anything afterwards. However, even then, she gets instinctive reactions from things she experienced in those dim days, but Geršr is unaware of this fact.

    Amiable and earnest, Geršr is in the transition period between "a young maiden" and "a responsible spouse". She applies herself dutifully to the keeping of her Master's household, but she greatly prefers being outside. She likes places with lots of flowers best, whether for playing in or just for admiring.

    Geršr has no great wish to make of the Holy Grail, but because she's acquainted with the concept of "being a person who answers others' wishes", she responds to the summons of prospective Masters all the same. "If I go with the blessings and affections of my lord husband I'll be sure to win!"

    Relationships
    Master
    Rather than a "superior", Geršr thinks of them as an "acquaintance one can become friends with if you spend enough time with them". She rebuffs all forms of romantic advances because she still considers herself loved by the god Freyr.

    Fujino Asagami
    Geršr inexplicably gravitates towards her, even if they are as different as night and day. Perhaps it's because of a shared experience of shutting out trauma?

    Beowulf
    An existence that reminds Geršr of Lord Freyr. She should be happy whenever someone who reminds her of her dear husband is around. She must be. If that's so, then why is she always uneasy while around this person?

    Cu Chulainn (Caster)
    Geršr feels nothing but nausea and dread. Her entire being screams "Do not approach this person".
    CLASS SKILLS
    Territory Creation: B
    The Skill to build a special terrain that is advantageous to oneself as a magus, such as for the purpose of collecting mana. At this rank, creation of a "Workshop" becomes possible. In Geršr's case, it becomes a "Greenhouse" where exotic plants of all types can be made to grow.

    Oblivion Correction: E-
    Mentality of one that never forgets the wrongs done to them. Critical effects from attacks are boosted. No matter how much Geršr attempts to escape the ■■■■■■■■■■■■ done to her, deep down she still recognizes that such a thing is difficult, if not impossible, to forgive.

    Divine Core of the Spring Goddess: A
    A subspecies Skill of Divine Core of the Goddess that expresses one's being a perfected goddess from birth. A composite Skill that comprises the Skill Divinity, preserves the absoluteness of the mind and the body, repels all mental interference, prevents the body from growth and prevents the figure from changing no matter how much calories are absorbed. It also improves the growth of plants and animals and reduces the chance of mental interference targeting allies due to being a goddess of spring.

    Geršr should have a rank of EX in this skill as a Divided Spirit born from an actual Divine Spirit, but she is subconsciously suppressing her divinity whilst in the Alter Ego class. No goddess worthy of the title who had ■■■■■■■■■■■■ done to her would ever think of letting things lie, let alone expunging all record of it as Geršr did.

    PERSONAL SKILLS
    Golden Rule: C
    Skill that refers to one's ability to acquire wealth. Money problems are largely unknown due to both natural wealth and prudent saving practices.

    As one who possessed the riches of her father Gymir, Geršr should have a B rank in this Skill, but it is currently being suppressed due to the action of one of her other Skills.

    Affection of the Male God: A
    Skill that denotes one being loved by a male god. Almost the same Skill as Affection of the Goddess. The affections of the sun god Freyr sublimated as a Skill. In addition to applying a rank-up to all parameters, also allows for the usage of the Noble Phantasm Gambanteinn's full range of abilities.

    Edda Amendment: A
    An id_es derived from the Skill Self-Suggestion. Rooted in the conflicting accounts of the wooing of Geršr in the Prose Edda and the Poetic Edda, this Skill allows Geršr to expunge the traumatic memories of that fateful day. A suggestion that "I don't remember it happening that way = It didn't happen that way". Provides a rank-up to Affection of the Male God, suppresses Divine Core of the Spring Goddess and Golden Rule, and seals away certain information about her Noble Phantasms.

    A form of self-sealing that attempts to erase Geršr's experience of ■■■■■■■■■■■■ by suppressing everything that could possibly hinder her from accepting the god Freyr's proposal.

    NOBLE PHANTASMS
    Gambanteinn: Hound of the Sunlit Plains
    Rank: A
    Type: Anti-Unit Noble Phantasm
    Range: 1
    Max targets: 1 person

    The Taming Rod that the Nordic sun god Freyr wields. A conceptual ancestor of Beowulf's sword Hrunting. A magical sword that can sniff out the smell of blood, it can launch the most optimal slash with a mere ordinary swing. It is saturated with runes that allow it to deal wounds that cannot be healed, and, while in the possession of the god Freyr or those he has authorized, also functions as an autonomous defense system. These functions make it an excellent weapon for the normally-pacifistic Geršr.

    All the above aside, Gerdr herself instinctively does not like touching it, and does not completely know why she possesses this Noble Phantasm. It's probably another proof of her lord husband's affections.

    The truth of the matter is that this Noble Phantasm symbolizes ■■■■■■■■■■■■Geršr's personal vengeance against the god Freyr. She concealed this sword, this hateful tool that took so many immeasurably precious things from her, hiding it from her "dear" husband just before the battle-cry against the jötunn was sounded, thus making her the sword's last known owner. Weaponless, the great god Freyr whom everyone admired stood no chance against the fire giant Surtr, and quickly perished.

    Fjolnir Barri: Bower of the Spring Breeze
    Rank: A
    Type: Anti-Team Noble Phantasm
    Range: 1-25
    Max targets: 50 people

    The Concealing Forest-Island; the jötunn Geršr's personal domain. By planting the sword Gambanteinn into the ground, Geršr can pull herself and several others into this forest-island located in a separate phase of existence, effectively making this a high-level defensive mystery. The island exists outside the flow of time in the mortal plane, but the amount of (subjective) time this Phantasm can be deployed is limited by Geršr's Magic parameter and the amount of external opposition aiming to collapse it.

    Within this pocket space, health regeneration speed is greatly increased, and it also removes even the strongest of mental interference effects. However, this space also imparts two effects whose origin Geršr is unsure of. Firstly, those that emerge from the forest-island (including Geršr herself) receive Anti-Divine attributes for 30 turns. Secondly, mistletoe plants inexplicably appear in places where she performs a True Name release.

    In truth, this Noble Phantasm represents ■■■■■■■■■■■■Geršr's vengeance against the Aesir that ruined her life. Collaborating with the half-jötunn Loki, she grew within this garden the mistletoe that would eventually be used to slay the darling of the gods Baldr.

    'Oh, this flashy thing? Heh, this was from the time the CEO made me dress up as a mascot character for an advert. Come to think of it, it's been, what, a year since I last wore this, hasn't it? Man, time sure does fly!'

    'To be honest, the Amazoness uniform isn't all that comfortable, especially on long drives. That's why I brought this: a gift from Paris a few years back. I've always been an advocate of showing up to work in casual clothes, and I think it's high time I took my own advice!'

    Hektor, the valiant supreme commander of the Trojan army, got roped once again into one of Amazoness.com CEO Penthesilea's zany schemes. Although he and his brother Paris were able to enter the higher echelons of Amazoness.com's command structure, said journey hasn't been easy, especially when one's job is fixing the problems that arise from such a large company's day-to-day operations, not to mention dealing with a superior as... passionate as theirs.


    So when said superior calls him in the middle of the night about a delivery chain collapse on some faraway planet, Hektor does as he has always done. He shakes his head ruefully, kisses his brother good night, puts on his uniform, and goes to work.

    The same Hektor as the one summoned in the Lancer class. However, this time the Master might get to see "a Hektor who's serious about work", since he can't really play the part of a slacker because he's (1) on the clock, and (2) with a junior from the company.

    Their relationship is the same as usual. It'd be great if they could hang out during times when they're both off the CEO's hook, though.

    Penthesilea
    Hektor respects her, obviously. Inwardly, he hopes there might come a time when the company isn't floundering about because of some galaxy-wide crisis that inexplicably popped up overnight. "Ah, but then I'd be out of a job", he muses shortly afterward.

    Paris, Mandricardo, Bradamante
    Hektor is already thinking of Christmas presents to bring home to his family. "Hm, that young man has been talking about his wooden sword a bit more than usual lately. I wonder how he'd react if I gave him a carved replica of Durindana...?"

    Santa Servants
    "Listen, I'd love to help you out on your deliveries, but this old man's already running behind schedule on his own! That said, here's my card; feel free to call me if a crisis bigger than a delayed delivery comes up."

    CLASS SKILLS
    Magic Resistance: B
    The ability to resist magical effects. Cancel spells with a chant below three verses. Even if targeted by High-Thaumaturgy and Greater Rituals, it is difficult for Hektor to be affected.

    Riding: A-
    The ability to ride mounts and vehicles. All vehicles and all creatures but those of Phantasmal Beast and Divine Beast-rank can be used as mounts. However, due to possessing a certain Skill, Hektor cannot qualify for the Rider class. Tragic, really.

    Presence Concealment (Customer Service): C
    Skill that hides one's presence as a Servant. It's specialized towards hiding one's presence when it is unnecessary for the customer, only becoming perceivable when they so desire. Suitable for spying; however, efficiency will decrease once preparations to launch into the sales pitch are taken. A special skill required for department store salespeople.

    In Hektor's case, even the sounds of the vehicle he is driving can be hidden.

    PERSONAL SKILLS
    Courier: D
    The ability to safely carry important items through large distances. Conceptually reduces the chance of to-be-delivered items being broken or lost. Hektor's rank in this Skill is low because he doesn't really carry packages on his person.

    Aptitude for Slaughter (Vehicle): E+++
    Skill possessed by Heroic Spirits fitting the Assassin or Berserker classes. Vehicles used gain a plus modifier in their damage dealt against humans.

    A skill Hektor doesn't want, but nonetheless possesses due to extenuating circumstances. His current self is summoned as a truck-driving deliveryman, which is easily one of the most demanding jobs for the occupant, not to mention one of the most dangerous for bystanders. The damage modifier dramatically increases when facing protagonist-type enemies, but in all other cases, the laughably small modifier means this skill only really exists to make it impossible to obtain a Rider's license.

    Great Hero's Delivery: A
    A Skill composed of Hektor's Disengage and Proof of Friendship skills, wrapped in the distinctive striped delivery-guy uniform. Clears negative statuses and restores the bearer's physical conditions to what they were at the beginning of the match (delivery run). Also makes it easier to communicate with opposite parties, especially if they are initially hostile.

    As mentioned above, truck driving is one of the most physically-demanding jobs available. One of the few people who remain undaunted by this truth is Hektor, the great Trojan hero who fought for his people's right to live their daily lives. Seeing people's satisfied expressions upon receiving their package makes him feel as if a huge weight were lifted off his shoulders. People on the receiving end of the delivery are equally put at ease by this reaction, making it easier to secure the necessary items to complete the transaction.

    NOBLE PHANTASMS
    Troias Atepomaros: Overflowing is the Royal Capital's Hospitality

    Classification: Anti-Unit Noble Phantasm
    Range: 1-25
    Maximum Number of Targets: 1 person

    Troy, Tamer of Horses. The war chariot of the Trojan hero Hektor. It's undergone numerous renovations under the auspices of Amazoness.com (care of the suspiciously-named Apollon Industries), so it's currently manifesting as a fifth-generation Is*zu ELF delivery truck. Other than possessing an industry-standard portal to the Amazoness.com warehouse at the back, this custom unit has plenty of leg room for a vehicle of its model, and even has several cup holders! On the downside, the compact disk player is currently jammed and plays only one song.

    As befitting both its name and the title held by its owner, Atepomaros ("tamer/breaker of horses"), the vehicle itself is extremely easy to handle.     There is a story among the Algonquian. It regards simpler times. Of a mans love for another being spurned. The brave's name was Elegant. He sought the hand of the chief's daughter, named Handsome. However she spurned his love, rejecting him. It was already a harsh rebuke but she cruelly repeated it as she left the tent for all to hear.

    So humiliated Elegant was that he became despondent. As the tribe prepared to migrate for the winter he refused to leave. He had to be carried onto a horse and the horse guided along the path. As his health declined, he grew angry. Furious at what had happened.

    So he took to studying the ways of a shaman. Once he learned what he needed he put his teachings to practice. With animal bones, snow, hide, and many adornments he used magecraft to shape the materials into the form of a human and then used necromancy to give it false life.

    Having successfully made a homunculus, he gave it a name, Moowis, and gave him strict orders. He was to go into the camp with him, be introduced, and then he would seek the approval of the tribe. Then, when Handsome sought his hand he'd accept but go fetch his fortune afar. Close to it however a curse would take the life of Handsome... but he would still be permitted to keep the fortune.

    He followed his masters ordered. To prove himself he felled a deer from one ridge to another, he plucked the tail feathers of a flying eagle from afar, he stopped a charging moose with nothing more than sheer strength, and he freely shared his gains with his fellows. Such actions caught the attention of Handsome, who fell in love.

    Before he could propose to Handsome, Elegant passed away. He mourned for him but eventually asked the chief for his daughters hand in marriage. For all the good he did, the chief accepted. However before they married he admitted to needing to take a journey, to recover something hidden by Elegant far away.

    Handsome requested she join him for the journey. He initially refused, feeling somewhat conflicted about his feelings... Unable to deny her however, he agreed and they set out. The trip was dangerous in winter but on the third day they crested a hill that led to the spot. Just as they did, the clouds parted and activated the curse Elegant placed on him long ago.

    Now vulnerable to the sun, he began to melt. Realizing his masters treachery he lamented his sorry state. However he felt most guilty for his bride. He begged her to flee back to the village before the winter claimed her, apologizing for his masters treachery. As he died, he confessed his love and died before he heard an answer.

    "Ah... my past... please. Think nothing of it... my wish? Simple... to be rid of my curse"

    His feats of hunting and his noted preparations for a long journey along with his entitlement to it as a Voyager grant him this skill at its rank. He is capable of supply himself with enough prana to subsist so long as he does not engage in combat without a master. If he enters combat, he will be diminished greatly and there is a great chance that he will burn away quickly.

    While his preparations for the long voyage to Elegant's treasure were well made, enough for the both of them, his lack of extra preparation for potential disasters lowers the rank of this skill that he might normally have. At this rank, he can generally estimate his prana he gained and used at the end of each day but is never perfectly accurate.

    Personal Skills

    Cursed to Die: EX

    Spoiler:
    A terrible personal skill unique to Moowis though only in the sense that he is the first recorded to have it Based on the legend of him being cursed by his master to die to humiliate Handsome, when summoned the curse activates.

    Effectively, the curse will kill him if two conditions are met. First a woman must fall in love him. Secondly, he must return the love. When these two conditions are met, the curse activates and he has three days to live. After that, he will instantly die. There is no known way to prolong or end the curse.

    "...My master cursed me when I agreed to be his heir. I ask we not speak of it more. It is... a sensitive subject"

    Embodiment Of Beauty: A

    Spoiler:
    A skill that encompasses the charming nature of Moowis. Based on the legends of his beauty, such that Handsome fell in love at first sight and he became popular among the tribe without any feats. Anyone that gazes upon him faces mental interference that influences them to become infatuated or feel romantic love with him upon sight.

    Any actions he takes to win such affections merely deepens them or turns them towards romantic love. Further, unless blocked at the onset, there is no way to make those affected hate him. He could be the cause of them or another they love dying and they will not blame him.

    "Hmmm? Why thank you. I'm glad you like my ornaments... wait, why are you looking at me like that?"

    Mana Burst (Ice): B

    Spoiler:
    A variant of mana burst that is cold to the touch. Not only can he surround his arrows in this cold mist that freezes even burning embers on contact, he can even surround himself with this ice-cold mana.

    When something is struck by an attack empowered by his mana burst the contacted area freezes instantly and contact that lasts longer than 5 seconds creates an effect that causes it to begin spreading. If left unattended, the enemies full body can be frozen solid.

    Yet it has a more insidious effect. It interrupts the flow of prana itself. When he covers himself in this mana burst, his Magic Resistance raises by a rank. If a servant or magus is struck by it then the servants parameters are reduced a rank and the magus' spells reduce a rank.

    "... I have always been connected to the cold... and It is my greatest weapon"

    Personality

    Spoiler:
    Moowis, despite his inhuman nature, has very humane actions. He was taught very well by Elegant in the ways of being human. Further his creation is somewhat masterful despite the rudimentary, inefficient method in his creating him, as he does not emulate what he was taught but can actually feel what he was taught.

    For all intents and purposes, he effectively is a living creature. The question of him having a soul is even possible due to how actual and real his reactions and emotions are. Despite this, he has some inhumane traits such as linear thinking. While he is capable of multi-tasking, he takes a very step-by-step approach to every task, problem, or decision he makes.

    Additionally he seems to be incapable of being anything other than blunt. Subtlety is not part of his skill set and so he will become confused when asked to be less blunt or not so direct. Such concepts generally confuse him. He is receptive to learning but due to his linear thinking, teaching him is difficult.

    Yet under it all there is a darkness to him. A deep resentment to his fate and a hatred for those that wronged him. He resents Elegant for cursing him, he hates the sun for melting him, and he despises shamanism for allowing him to be born.

    His resentment runs deep and while he tries to keep it under control, at times he will let it run wild. However the problem runs much deeper; He simply believes he was denied life and feels guilty that he caused the death of his first love. He seeks to fix it and views the grail as a way to accomplish that.

    As such he has a number of wishes for the grail; to return Handsome to life, to return to life himself, to claim his birthright, to know if she loved him... yet below it all he wants his curse lifted. Even if, as he believes, it removes his attractability he wants it completely gone as he hates dying a lot.

    At the source, all his resentment lies at that event. He hates the curse and the dishonesty his master used to place it on him. He wishes more than anything that he either knew then what he does now or at least that the curse was removed from him.

    "Yes... that curse. That horrible curse... I still do not understand why he cursed me so... but with this summoning, I have a chance to be rid of it... then, I can pursue a second life. Any second chance though will be wasted if I have that curse..."

    Moowis remembers the moment he was cursed well. The promise of fortune given should he gain the favor and hand of Handsome. He often forgets however the promise behind the curse, what was used to lure his acceptance.

    This noble phantasm crystallizes that aspect. The hidden treasure that Elegant secured somewhere in the wilds. What is the rightful inheritence of Moowis.

    When he is summoned, a container is too. Hides wrapped around a hallowed out log bounded by reeds appears somewhere in the country he is summoned in. It can be in the earth (no more than 12 feet deep) or elsewhere. However even if found by another they will be unable to physically open it.

    If magical means are taken, instead the spell will be used as fuel to transport it elsewhere in the country, similar to when it was first summoned. Further the contents are obscured by a powerful bounded field that not even magic resistance of EX rank can dispel.

    Moowis knows that it is summoned. However he knows nothing more than that it's in the country. He may search for it but ultimately he must do so akin to a treasure hunt. Magecraft can assist as he has an intrinsic if dormant connection. However if his curse activates he immediately knows the precise location of the treasure.

    At this point, it becomes a race for time. If he can acquire his treasure he will acquire a power that will let him stave off the curse. If he doesn't then he will die and the treasure lost to both himself and his master. The treasure contains three items; An ointment, animal bones that connect together, and a filled waterskin.

    The ointment when applied sets a condition that when fulfilled grants him a single use of Miracle at EX rank. This use can range from getting out of a difficult fight, hitting the right spot to defeat an enemy, or even staving his curse off for a time. At most it can stave it off for a week with one use. The ointment refills only three times after this before becoming useless.

    The animal bones can be connected to form; A sword, a bow, a staff, a spear, a sling, and a pair of knives. All of these weapons are considered B-rank armaments. Additionally they cannot be broken by normal or magical means.

    The Waterskin is filled with prana-rich water. When dranken from, he gains enough prana to operate without his master for 24 hours, so long as he doesn't use his mana burst. Each use shaves an hour off. Alternatively, he can use it to boost his mana parameter by two ranks. It refills daily.



    "I had forgotten I was promised. I only have three days however. Can we really make it...?"

    So there he is. I decided to do him specifically because I was very familiar with his legend due to research I'd already done for another project I'm doing where he is very prominent for the first half of the story. So yeah.

    A chronic kleptomaniac who had collected over 71.000 objects and artifacts from all over the world, using his connection with influential peoples of the rapidly expanding British Empire. These collections later became the foundation that would become the British Museum. He also supposedly invented chocolate milk.

    In public, he presents himself as a distinguished physician and an antique restorer. Using this identity, he succeeded Isaac Newton as the president of the Royal Society and won fame as a man of science. Coincidentally, in the world of magecraft, his influence and fame came from his contributions to the Mage’s Association, having laid the foundation of the Clock Tower’s current main building.

    Beyond all that, however, Hans Sloane was also the final carrier of a Demon God, the infernal spirit possessing the rank of King, one of the most powerful out of the 72 pillars, known to have the largest number of demonic legions among all the Demon Gods—the Ninth Pillar, Paimon.

    Item Reconstruction: A++
    A Skill replacing the usual Item Construction. Rather than the ability to manufacture items, it allows one to restore any object to its optimum shape. In other words, Caster cannot create new items, he can only repair existing ones. However, he can be considered the highest authority in this regard, and Caster can reconstruct even high mystery artifacts from the Age of Gods.

    It is an ability that Caster inherited from the magecraft developed by the Sloane family, and he himself had made significant breakthroughs in this field by combining it with scientific methods. Originally, the restoration could only be done to static inanimate objects and mystic codes, but Caster had made it possible for this skill to be applicable to living creatures and even spiritual bodies.

    A composite ability that includes Collector and Appreciation of the Arts skills. It is a talent that makes acquiring high-quality and rare items easier, as well as the critical artistic perception to reveal the hidden attributes, potentials and flaws within such items. In the case of Noble Phantasms with artistic anecdotes, the true name of the Servants possessing it can be discerned at a single glance.

    The EX rank of this skill is not the result of Caster’s own talent solely, but because it has been augmented by the Demon God Paimon who has “knowledge of all Arts” and who can “reveal all hidden treasures”. As such, rather than a mere eye for art, it is more akin to a demonic clairvoyance that ruthlessly criticizes everything humanity produces.

    For Caster, this inhuman perception has made him set an impossible standard against himself, one that prevents him from producing his own Masterpiece as a human.

    Grimoire of False Attendant: A+
    A trove of grimoires for the purpose of magical contracts, which has received the power of the Demon God Paimon. Out of all 72 Demon Pillars, Paimon is the highest authority in Familiar Binding, having under his command 200 legions of spirits (a legion is composed of 6000 spirits), while the other Demon Gods usually have only 30 legions on average.

    Caster’s interest encompasses not only the collection of inanimate artifacts, but also of capturing stray spirits as well as human slaves. This fact, combined with Paimon’s Authority of Familiar Binding results in this ability, which allows Caster to forge a Master-Servant contract with spiritual bodies and even living humans. A contract needs consent from both parties, but for demons coercion and trickery are just as valid a consent.

    Grand Order: C-
    The mark of a Beast, signifying one’s status as an Enemy of Human Order. A curse embedded into the Magic Crest of 72 magus families by a being claiming to be King Solomon. It ensures that when their assigned time arrives, one of the seventy two Demon God Pillars will take over their descendant’s body and carry out their plan of the Incineration of the Human Order. Caster carries in his Magic Crest the mark of the Demon God Paimon, and was chosen as the host upon which Paimon will execute Goetia’s Grand Order.

    However, because Paimon’s personal loyalty belongs not to Goetia, but to Lucifer, and because of their compatibility, it seems that Caster’s original personality is still somewhat intact.

    The first public national museum, one of the most extensive reliquaries of invaluable artifacts in the world. It became the symbol of both the Clock Tower’s and the British Empire’s global domination, evolving as those arcane and imperial powers simultaneously expanded their hegemony upon the world.

    Its claimed purpose is to safeguard and study human history and creations, but as a Noble Phantasm that has been distorted by a Demon God’s corrupting influence, its true nature is that of a trash heap that can only plunder, mock and bring ruin to the works of man.

A Reality Marble that utilizes the treasures and artifacts contained within it as Broken Phantasm, and then repairs it back, only to destroy it again—an eternal cycle of restoration and ruination.
