I suppose you've never read Koga's sheets before? This one's tidier than most.

The skills section seems a tad dense for a guy that's probably a Wraith at best, and I'm personally not a fan of "all parameters are variable", but otherwise he seems alright. The NP does seem a bit generic, but it works for a figure who's basically a large question mark in human form.

A flamboyant and boisterous guy. Saber upholds strongly his honor as a gentleman which coexists effortlessly with the eccentric manner he conducts himself. He believes that martial arts exists so that the weak can protect themselves from the strong and abhors to see it used for the purpose of senseless violence. Saber is a broadminded individual who saw past the prejudices of his era and was willing to accept students regardless of their race, gender or class provided they show a sincere desire to hone their body and mind.

He likes to talk and praise himself. Even in the middle of battle Saber can keep up a constant stream of commentary, playfully correcting his opponents on their technique as his blade flashes through the air. Although this is dropped when he gets serious, as once Saber decides a battle is to the death rather than a friendly duel he will fully commit to killing the opponent. Saber finds no joy in the taking of life but as a soldier accepts that some fights one can't afford to back down from.

Saber has no particular wish on the Holy Grail and isn't interested in killing other Masters or Servants either. Instead he accepts summoning simply to participate in the ultimate gathering of legendary warriors from across history who dedicated lifetimes to perfecting their skills, regarding it as akin to the "Grand Assault of Arms" he organized in life.

Aside from martial arts Saber enjoys swimming and smoking cigars, having started up a cigar company upon arriving in America between his positions as a fencing and boxing instructor. He dislikes projectile weapons like guns, believing that gentlemen should rely on their natural weapons and a sword at most to defend themselves and so won't use them most of the time despite his skill. This is the reason he refuses to be summoned for the Archer Class despite technically qualifying for it given his feats.

Confers protection against magical effects. At this rank, spells with a chant below two verses are cancelled. Cannot cope against the likes of High Thaumaturgy or Greater Rituals. Saber was born close to the modern day and fought with fists, blades and bullets rather than spells. As such he'd normally possess only a modest rank in this Skill by virtue of his Class Container. However his work in reviving the ancient Greek arts of boxing and swimming can be seen to strengthen Saber's connection to the lost mysteries of the past. This gives him a higher rank in this Skill, allowing Saber to resist spells that would directly restrict his physical body.

Riding- B
The ability to ride animals and handle vehicles. At this rank most mundane mounts can be ridden at an above average degree of skill, but not Phantasmal or Divine Beasts. Garnered through his extensive career as a soldier of fortune.


Personal Skills:

Instinct- A
A form of sixth sense that allows one to instantly identify the best possible course of action during battle. Because this Skill allows for the prediction of trajectory, it is possible to avoid attacks from firearms. At rank A, Saber's honed sixth sense is essentially in the realm of predicting the future, halving all penalties caused by visual or auditory interference.

Rendered nearly blind at age 12 in a gunpowder accident, Saber still managed to forge himself into an exceptional duelist, learning to attune himself to subtle wind-movements in the air to know where to strike his targets. Having won over 50 duels with swords, pistols and fists over the course of his life all the while hardly being able to see his opponents it goes without saying that his instincts are preternaturally sharp.

Grand Assault Of Arms- A+
A Skill representing the champion exhibition of fighting styles Saber put on in the Lyceum Theatre in New York City. Extolled to embrace fighting with swords, knives, lances, bayonets and quarterstaves as well as Savate and pugilism, it was undoubtedly the greatest event of its kind that drew champions from all across the world and of all different ethnic groups to participate. Even Mark Twain who was in the audience at the time remarked in awe at the savage splendor of his dagger and broadsword techniques.

Saber's Saint Graph inherits the concept of the Grand Assault of Arms as "a place where fighting techniques are gathered". Thus this Skill allows him to surpass limitations of his Class Container and display proficiency in all the weaponry and styles featured within which he personally studied to mastery. Furthermore Saber can replicate phantasmal versions of these weapons which serve as E-ranked lesser Noble Phantasms.

Discerning Eye- B
A technique for Human Observation made even more narrow. Simply put the ability to identify talent in others and the best way to cultivate it. Saber obtains this Skill as not just a brilliant duelist and martial artist but also one who excelled at recognizing those with potential and training to bring it out. In an era where boundaries of class and race were nearly absolute Saber freely took on women and blacks amongst his students, showing his eye for talent was unbiased by the circumstances of his time. His most famous protege was Ella Hatten who earned the epithet "La Jaguarina" for her ferocity in the arena and became known as one of the greatest swordswomen of her era.

Type: Anti-Unit (Anti-Armament)

Saber propounded usage of the simple walking-stick as an ideal weapon to defend oneself from ruffians they faced on their travels. While guns necessitate the taking of life skillful usage of a cane could disarm the opponent before they can use their own weapon. In this way it was the embodiment of Saber's philosophy to subdue his opponents without killing them. Taking the form of a simple hickory walking stick Saber carries, this Noble Phantasm is the culmination of his career in disarming blades and guns from countless assailants across his life.

Upon striking an enemy Servant's weaponry with the cane, Saber can invoke this Noble Phantasm's true name to forcibly dismiss it into astral form. This only lasts for several seconds and costs a significant amount of Mana from Saber but provides an opening for him to defeat his opponent after disarming them. Can be fended off through a successful Luck check. Naturally it's an ideal counter to weapons-based fighters and ineffective against those who rely on barehanded or otherwise esoteric means of combat.

Should nonlethal measures not be enough to defeat his opponent and he sees this as a battle he must obtain victory in at all costs Saber may draw a sword from his cane, sealing this ability in return for a more deadly one. Saber disdained showy practices in fencing where combatants would let themselves receive would-be fatal blows from their opponent's foil in order to counter-attack, saying that such suicidal tactics would get one killed in a real fight. As such this Noble Phantasm serves to ensure that every blow from Monstery's sword is a critical one by leaking a severe amount of Mana from the wound and cutting through defensive abilities/armaments below C-rank. In essence penalizing a strategy of shrugging off attacks through one's defense and forcing the opponent to put their all in evading each strike.

Type: Anti-Projectile Mystic Sword

A crystallization of the most outrageous legend surrounding Saber's martial prowess, where it was told in Germany of a boy who could stand outside under pouring rain and swing his sword so deftly that he was as dry beneath as though he were under an umbrella. While in life obviously only an errant tale which Saber would've been amused by, with his enhanced physical capabilities as a Servant he's seen fit to cultivate a technique inspired by this anecdote. This Noble Phantasm entwines with his disdain for projectile weapons as while he was willing to use them in life he believed a gentleman shouldn't have to rely on such crude tools.

Upon invoking its true name and only when drawing his true sword, Saber enters a defensive stance with his blade held in front of him where he gains the ability to instantly sense and react to any projectiles approaching him from a full 360 degrees spherical radius. When a projectile crosses an invisible threshold three feet around him Saber instantly deflects it with a counter-slash so fast it appears he didn't even move. If assailed by multiple projectiles Saber's Agility is amplified to the point he can individually react to and deflect all of them. Essentially Saber's body and mind overclocks to the point where he perceives each projectile moving in slow-motion and can swat them away.

Thanks to this even staying unscathed amidst a barrage of projectiles akin to pounding rain becomes possible for Saber. It doesn't matter the speed or magnitude of the projectile, or even whether it's physical or magical in nature, he'll surely be able to deflect it as if his body were moving on its own. Since his movements are so swift it appears that an invisible barrier is knocking every projectile out of the sky before it reaches Saber, meaning some foes might not even realize this ability is born from overwhelming skill rather than divine protection.

This Noble Phantasm makes Saber an absolute counter to projectiles and those who rely on them. However it's limited by the fact that he needs to enter a special stance first and can't step from the spot without compromising his protection. Furthermore it's only effective on countering projectiles and ordinary melee attacks can still get through. Additionally explosive area-of-effect projectiles may still damage Saber by detonating after he deflects them. Lastly overusing this technique will damage his body from forcing it to move with impossible speed and precision.

A portion of the Prince's education was devoted to pursuits such as the riding of horses. As a result, Saber has a high rank in riding.

Personal Skills:
Traversal of the Storm: A+

A blessing granted by the self-sacrifice of Saber's first wife. When she threw herself into the sea, the winds ceased to blow, the rain stopped, and the sun broke through the clouds to allow Saber's passage. This blessing manifests as a skill that permits the traversal of all water and wind-based obstacles, as well as significant resistance to attacks made utilizing storms. Additionally, Servants with aspects of the sea will find her a more difficult opponent, as she receives an Endurance and Luck bonus against such enemies. While their marriage was purely political, Saber was keenly affected by the manner in which her first wife threw her life away for her sake.

Charisma: B

Suitable for the rule of a country. In spite of her sometimes violent behavior, Saber was doubtless a prince with the ability to command the attention of the masses. Even her defeated enemies would often praise her for her skill and capabilities, wholeheartedly believing she truly was worthy of respect. Perhaps this is one of the reasons why her father feared her.

Divinity: C

The bloodline of Japanese Emperors is regarded as possessing a measure of divinity, and Saber is the daughter of Emperor Keiko.

Heavenly White Wings: A

​A skill unique to Saber. It is comparable to Mana Burst, but it is derived from distinct origins. Perhaps due to having a more significant influence from her divine blood, or perhaps due to a manner of thinking that was different to her father's. Regardless of the reason, the Prince of the Rising sun expressed this ability more strongly then any other members of her family. Saber can use magical energy to significantly empower her body and her attacks, manifesting brilliant white wings from her back in the process. It is said that when she died, her soul ascended in the shape of a great white bird of light.

Fire Striking: B

Among the gifts received by Saber were a pair of mystic code Fire Strikers, capable of instantly conjuring flames when struck. As a skill, her Fire Strikers allow for the use of jets and bursts of flame at will. These flames are intense enough to cause painful burns, or form an effective deterrent against bestial opponents. Saber is no stranger to using fire to overcome her enemies.

The very same divine sword discovered in the tail of the Orochi, once wielded by the Mountain God Ibuki-Douji. A high-grade mystery, its form is that of a fine-edged blade shaped in the fashion of the swords predating the Japanese katana. Possessed of numerous capabilities, such as an edge that would never dull nor break, it stands as one of the Three Regalia of Japan. Surpassing even its capacity as a sword is its ability to manipulate the winds. Capable of concentrating wind into concussive blasts or a razor-sharp invisible edge, it is both an exquisite weapon and a high-tier catalyst for wind alteration. It can even gather air currents into a highly condensed windstorm in order to deflect projectiles. But this cannot compare to its ultimate function. By gathering air currents and intensifying them, condensing them tighter and tighter in order to generate extreme temperatures, Saber can create a wave of incredibly destructive magical energy in the form of plasma. With the invocation of the Noble Phantasm's true name, aneven greater wave of plasma can be released capable of even destroying a fortress.

Lore: Born as Prince Ousu, Yamato Takeru's father was deeply disappointed on discovering that she was a girl. In spite of this, her early life found her raised as a Prince instead of a Princess, as it was believed she could be used as a more effective tool fulfilling the role of a Prince. Emperor Keiko came to believe that this was a mistake, as in spite of a princely bearing she also possessed a mentality 'divorced from normal humanity'. An analytical thought process that simultaneously believed in honor while choosing violence whenever necessary. Caring deeply for her nation, Prince Ousu came to believe her elder brother was not a suitable heir. Even though she was a girl no older then thirteen, she confronted her elder brother and murdered him in an act she believed would lead to a brighter future for Japan.

As she had never felt sorrow before, the pain and guilt at the murder of her elder brother overwhelmed her and she fell to her knees, sobbing.

Her father witnessed this act, and decided to send his only remaining heir away in order to distance her from himself, believing that she was not truly a human being. At first, Prince Ousu despaired, believing that her father wished her dead. Later, she came to believe that this was instead a test. If she did not claim the throne, after all, then the murder of her brother had no point.

She defeated numerous enemies, using whatever methods necessary. Honor, she believed, did not expect to brigands, but those who chose to face her head on were treated with respect. One such opponent praised her strength and skill upon his defeat, and gave her the title 'Yamato Takeru'.

After receiving the legendary sword, Ame no Murakumo no Tsurugi from Princess Yamatohime-no-Mikoto, she went on to devastate an entire army using its wind-manipulating powers. It is this event that granted it the blade its new name, Kusanagi-no-Tsurugi.

Her father believed her to be both a threat and a useful political tool, and thus arranged for her to be married as a Prince to Oto Tachibana-hime. However, her wife sacrificed herself to grant her a blessing that protected her from the rage of a sea god. While their marriage was purely for political reasons, Yamato Takeru found her heart had been wounded by the act.

And yet, all of this would be justified if she ascended to the throne. All of this would be justified if she could lead Japan to a brighter future. Surely, her father meant to test her.

Yamato Takeru died under the curse of a mountain god, her heart filled with regrets. No matter her accomplishments, she had never reached the throne and become Emperor.

A girl with a princely bearing, and yet paradoxically a penchant for violent solutions. It is said by some that her mindset is one divorced from humanity, and yet perhaps that is not entirely the truth. To Yamato Takeru, honor is to be treated with honor, and lawlessness to be treated in kind. She has no qualms with deception if her opponent has not earned the right to be treated with respect. However, her loyalty to her master is unshakable, provided her Master is of a just heart. A girl who judges the worthiness of those around her on her own terms can just as easily judge a Master as unworthy as she believed her elder brother to be, however. In spite of this high-handed nature, Yamato Takeru is quick to defend the weak and stand for what she believes is right and just. After all, one who wishes to rule a country should stand for the good of all its people, should they not?

While her actions do not show it, the truth is that her heart remains full of guilt for the murder of her brother. To the Prince of the Rising Sun, her failure to ascend to the position of Emperor rendered the murder pointless, nothing more then a senseless killing. As such, she must use her new life as a Servant to attempt to obtain her wish. If she does not, then the pain she caused others will never have a meaning.

In spite of her political marriages in life, Yamato Takeru knows little of love, as her time was absorbed in attempting to 'pass her father's test'. As such, she is quite easily confused or flustered by such matters, and has almost no awareness of the charm her princely bearing may have towards others.

Notes: Yamato Takeru's beautiful looks and the ease with which he disguised himself as a maid were in fact because he was a woman. This is another reason her father was reluctant to declare her as his true heir, alongside her often violent problem-solving. In addition, she also carries a pair of fire-strikers, but I wasn't sure how to include these in her sheet. I actually had this idea before Ibuki-Douji was added to FGO, so the fact the abilities line up pretty well was a happy accident. Sure, it doesn't say that the sword beam is plasma anywhere, but it doesn't say it's not​ either, right?

Vita: next to the bottom right corner there are the Sizes options. Go with Large Thumbnail, always has the best size imo
when her feat is "being educated in riding horses" then B is too high imo.
I like her skills except for Charisma. it was supposed to be a rare skill, but it became a "eh they were king, surely they had it" gap filler skills in many cases, so im a bit cynical about this one. Even the description seems a bit uninspired, making it stick out like a sore thumb compared to the other really cool ones. Her lore doesn't really show a reason either. Idk enough about that figure, but you mention a curse of a mountain god? Already sounds like a skill. Or the firestrikers could have been some sort of skill too, like the embodiment of her violent nature or something.
I thought so that Kusanagi was made before the FGO version. I am personally pretty hesitant to use the regalia for regular servants, because of their importance, but they actually wielded it according to your lore, so guess it fits.

Yamato Takeru is often described as an "Arthurian" figure, so I'll admit I picked a lot of things deliberately in parallel to Artoria. B-rank riding was mostly because that seems to be the average for old enough Sabers, and while she was specifically trained in horses she did a lot in her very short lifetime so I didn't think it was unjustifiable.

Charisma was kind of one of the "Artoria parallel" things I put in, I'll admit, though I hesitate to get rid of it since I thought it helped add to the reasons her father feared her if she actually was charismatic and even her defeated enemies liked her so much they praised her. I'd elaborate on it first before I'd remove it to be honest. As for the curse, all I can ever find is that it killed her sow I wasn't sure ho to incorporate it, but I do honestly think I should try and make the fire Strikers into a skill.

Showerthought: you could actually draw a lot of comparisons between Sigmund (father of Sigurd) and Arthur pendragon. Both had their “sword in the stone”. Both accidentally fucked their sister. Both had a nephew/son to go on adventures with. The difference between them is that Arthur had everything given to him while Sigmund suffered for his entire life and had to work for everything.
