Most Archers do kind of have a Caladbolg up their asses, don't they...?

Sigmund is pretty solidly in the "childish adults" category according to Rhea, but he's an adult who believes in something. In his own way, his whole seigi no mikata schtick is sort of his way of trying to grow beyond his circumstances, so she begrudgingly admits that it's a fantasy worth having.

But that's all I'll say for now, or else there'll be no magic in seeing them interact for real!
I may make mistakes, but at least I don't learn from them.

It's recommended that you read his earth counterpart here first before reading this one, to notice the parallels in his lore and personality.

    Archer of the Intergalactic Enterprise
-- Servant Universe's Greatest Entrepreneur, CEO of Serapeum Holdings, Inc. --

"Oh my, what's this? It's not every day our clients would ask for me directly. I do have some time to spare, though, so I'm happy to oblige. Whether you're on one end of the universe or the other, Serapeum Holdings has your back!"
    ...
"Huh? You've... never heard of us? Wait, really? Hmm, that changes things. I was only planning for a brief excursion to scout potential new business ventures, but it looks like I'll have to stay for a little while longer. Let me contact my secretary in the meantime..."

    Class Skills
    Independent Action (B+)

The ability to remain independent even when rejecting the Magical Energy supply from one's Master. Acting in autonomy from the Master's Magical Energy supply, the Master can concentrate their own Magical Energy on large spells, or the Servant will be fine even in the case they cannot supply Magical Energy due to injury. The downside is that they can be harder to control and keep by their side, making the only true way to command them is by utilizing Command Spells.

It is possible for Archer to stay in the world for two days without a Master. However, this is the ideal value achieved by maximally conserving mana and avoiding battle and Noble Phantasm usage. This duration can be slightly extended through the use of his Noble Phantasm.

"See, you'd think that 'becoming my own boss' would mean I'd be entitled to a greater extent of independence when it comes to managing my businesses. Unfortunately, in the larger scheme of things, 'independence' is a myth. Sure, you're the boss free to plan and execute all those corporate decisions, but you're still a slave to the insatiable whims of the market. Not to mention there's also... *shudder* the Board of Directors..."

    Magic Resistance (C --> EX)

Grants protection against magical effects. Differing from the Resistance effect that merely rejects Magical Energy, this ability cancels the spells altogether. Cancels spells with a chant below two verses. Cannot defend against magecraft on the level of greater magecraft and Greater Rituals. A middling rank born of Archer's general unfamiliarity with the field. That said, he could temporarily boost this Skill's effectiveness and versatility by equipping certain items produced by his subsidiaries.

"Nothing surprising about that. I have hundreds if not thousands of subsidiaries that I'd be more surprised if none of them sold some Anti-Magic or Anti-Occult stuff somewhere. Found it. Just let me make a call and order for expedited intergalactic shipping, and... there! One EX-rank Magic Resistance, as requested! Of course, this is just a one-use item with very specific instructions, but it is what it is. Can't expect much from your average Mage-B-Gone!"
    ...
"Hm? My earth counterpart didn't need that sort of thing to ward off magic? Of course not, we're- eh? Wait, what? He's a... priest? R-Really? Wait, you can't be serious, right? Ahem, sorry. No disrespect to the guy, but I just can't see myself as one. The whole asceticism and spiritual development aspects of faith feels a little too much for me. Oh? He's not that sort of priest? Hmm... now you've got me curious."

Serapeum Holdings, Inc. Official Product Catalog: Mage-B-Gone
Also known as "Magic Resistance in a bottle". A spray-type item that protects its user from magecraft. The exact method on how they work is vague ("O-Of course there's an obvious lore-backed scientific explanation as to how they work! Your simple earthling minds are simply not advanced enough to grasp this Servantverse-exclusive process! Besides, even if you can understand it, it's... corporate trade secret! Yeah, let's leave it at that!" says official company spokesperson), but the most important thing is that a single spray is equivalent to high-ranking Magic Resistance lasting around 15 minutes.

There are also variants of this product more suited to counter specific types of magecraft, with varying effectiveness (divinities, runecraft, astromancy, onmyodou, etc.). Available in soothing orange, lavender, peppermint, and chamomile scents*. Get it in your nearest intergalactic convenience store now.

    *While stocks last

Serapeum Holdings, Inc. Official Product Catalog: Mage-B-Gone (Spicy Edition)
Another brilliant invention from the geniuses who invented the critically-acclaimed product, Mage-B-Gone. A more recent innovation inspired by what earthlings call the "pepper spray". A spray-type weapon(?) that causes mild irritation in magic circuits upon skin contact, creating an uncomfortable, burning sensation lasting around 15 minutes with a small chance of temporarily disabling their magecraft. An essential product for non-lethal self-defense.

Keep away from children, do not aim at (your own) eyes. Serapeum Holdings, Inc. cannot be held liable for permanent magic circuit damage from irresponsible use of this product. Make sure not to mistake this one for the other spray, as we have had several complaints from past customers. To begin with, this one does not have the aromatic fragrance of the other. If symptoms remain for longer than 15 minutes, visit your nearest Space Doctor

    Personal Skills
    Golden Rule (A --> B)

A Skill that refers to the measurement of one's fortune to acquire wealth. As one of, if not the most successful entrepreneur in the Servant Universe, it's only natural for Archer to possess this Skill. Unfortunately, as most of his businesses are focused in the Servant Universe, he mainly excels in accumulating Servantverse currency, which... cannot be translated well into earth. Thus, this Skill receives a rank-down outside the Servant Universe.

"Um, let's see, putting the inflation rate in mind, a dollar is roughly equal to... um... Gah, I can't do it! The difference is just too large! Even if I were to become Earth's richest man today, the money I earn here is nothing but a tiny drop in the bucket of my overall profits! I swear, why can't you earthlings just make a single unified currency!? The Servantverse accomplished that aeons ago! This whole discrepancy makes it much harder for Serapeum to establish a foothold in this planet!"

Silver Tongue (Mergers and Acquisitions) (A)

The ability to speak persuasively and charm others with honeyed words. In Archer's case, this Skill is best used to foster his idea of assimilation, absorbing "lesser" businesses under the great Serapeum Holdings and getting more people to work under him. Similar to a god who gluttonously devoured other divinities, the intergalactic company thrived by acquiring countless other businesses, creating an extensive network of subsidiaries supporting it. By aggressively promising wealth, stability, and influence towards potential
    subsidiaries
    partners
, achievable only through his terms, Archer easily convinces them to sign up under his cause.

"Convincing one or two CEOs to surrender their company to me is no big deal. Everyone has a price, and I'm not talking strictly in the monetary sense. Some of them wants a cushy position in my office. Others just want more brand recognition, more accessibility to foreign markets, or more funds required for R&D, a chance to innovate and all that. Whatever the case, we at Serapeum Holdings can cater to your every need. Join our team now! All you have to do is sign your name here..."

    Owner

    Specializations
    (EX)

A variation of Imperial Privilege, denoting one who possesses ownership over numerous commercial industries. While the CEO does not involve himself too deeply in the affairs of each individual business, he oversees the entire process, making him at least somewhat familiar with each business he owns. This allows him to temporarily gain access to Skills related to said businesses. Usable Skills include

    , and many more.

Due to his lack of personal involvement, most usable Skills are ranked at around C-D, and only one Skill may be "borrowed" at any given moment.

"I didn't become CEO by sitting and twiddling my thumbs in my office the whole time, you know. I try to delegate tasks where I can, but most of the time, I still had to supervise their inner workings, since every complaint, every workplace rule violation, and every potential lawsuit would not make me look good before the... 'Board of Directors'. That's how I picked up these Skills. Sure wish I could get a nice vacation just like my previous boss did, but... nah. Can't rest when the fate of the Servantverse relies on your company making it big! That's just how it is!"

"...Well, this much should do for now. Let's end this! Diado-χῖ Keraunos!"

    Type: Anti-Continent Anti-Army
    Rank: A
    Range: 1-1000
    Max Targets: -

A powerful weapon shared between Archer and his "Board of Directors", the Space-Diadochi (also known as the Diado-χῖ).
It's... a giant orbital laser of mass destruction. That's it. There is no other fancy way to describe it.

Originally a machine used for the purpose of terraforming planets for colonization or harvesting resources, Archer has repurposed it into a weapon that brings "troublesome customers" and "uncooperative sectors" to heel. Even the most limited release of this Noble Phantasm is equivalent to receiving divine punishment from the heavens.

Upon its activation, the machine drains all energy from all of Serapeum's active businesses to power up itself, before unleashing a wave of pure destruction upon the targets (and everything else caught in its range). This Noble Phantasm possesses no special properties or conceptual abilities; it simply overwhelms its targets through sheer might alone. This means that it is possible to defend yourself against it with enough defensive measures, though doing so would be much easier said than done.

Due to the destructive nature of this Noble Phantasm, as well as how it represents the darkest aspects of Serapeum Holdings, Inc., Archer cannot use it at will. He requires the approval of at least six other members of the Diado-χῖ to unleash this Noble Phantasm's bare minimum release. Furthermore, as draining all energy off Serapeum's active businesses would result in blackouts, equipment malfunctioning, a halt in productions, and an overall significant drop in profits (if only for a few moments), activating it tends to put him on a bad position with the rest of the Diado-χῖ. In fact, the greatest deterrent Archer has from spamming this Noble Phantasm is not its sheer destructive potential or horrifying implications of essentially nuking a continent (reduced into Anti-Army in its limited release) into oblivion, but simply the fact that he has to write an extensive accountability report and a letter of apology after every use. The "Board of Directors" tend to let him off easier the more asset the company has at the moment, but he'd rather not go through the trouble.

"What? Don't look at me like that, Master. I mean, when you have way more money in your life than you know what to do with, isn't it normal to invest in a weapon of mass destruction or two? Everyone else just decided to pitch in, since apparently letting one person hold the big red button of the apocalypse and the launch codes required to unleash it is... irresponsible, they say."
    ...
"Eh? The billionaires from Earth don't do this kind of stuff? Ahaha, good joke! Boy do I have a bridge to sell you! I'm sure Beff Jezos or what's-his-name has his own robot army or ICBM somewhere just waiting to be released! We're all no different in that regard!"

    Extra: Something like this

    The Might of Serapeum Descends
    Serapis Epíthesi

"Oh, come on. You're not actually gonna make me do this, are you? I'm on a tight schedule here... Besides, such... direct methods of conflict management are usually below me. Still, it's not like you leave me any other choice. Let's end this quick. I'll start with a 1,000,000,000 qp boost to my STR. This much is chump change, but if you're so insistent on fighting me, you'd better not fall so easily."

    Type: Anti-Unit (Self)
    Rank: EX
    Range: -
    Max Targets: 1 (Self)

Archer's second Noble Phantasm as the face of Serapeum. He is more than a CEO; he is Serapeum, and Serapeum is him. Therefore, to face him is to face the overwhelming might of intergalactic enterprises, Serapeum Holdings, Inc.

Similar to his other Noble Phantasm, he drains energy from his active businesses all over the universe. Instead of using them to power up his orbital laser, however, he absorbs said energy directly into himself, allowing him to temporarily surpass the limits of his Servant container. In simpler terms, it is the power to "buy" parameter enhancements (with the exception of LUK and NP) through cash.

A single purchase lasts for about fifteen minutes, though they can stack infinitely. In this enhanced form, he foregoes his usual indirect fighting methods for a more physical approach, relentlessly pummeling his opponent with no mercy. Similar to his other Noble Phantasm, the only limitation to this one lies in his reluctance to write accountability reports after each use, and his need to maintain a good position among the Diado-χῖ.

    "Why... Why won't you die!?"
"Money, son! It hardens my body in response to- huh, wait, is this joke copyrighted? Copyright lawsuits can get real messy sometimes, and I'm still a stranger to Earth's laws. No? Well, I won't take the risk."

*One multi-billion dollar company acquisition later*

"It hardens my body in response to physical trauma! Ha, how about that!?"

    Lore
"Come and get it! An insider-exclusive story on the origins of the Servantverse's most successful company! It's a success story for the ages!"

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away...
-Eh? Wait, is that line copyrighted as well? Give me a moment...

*One more multi-billion dollar company acquisition later...*

Ahem, as I was saying, a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away... there lived a king. A great king who ruled over the furthest reaches of the Servant Universe. Armies fell before his might. None could resist his advance. At the same time, his people praised him, and he created an age of prosperity wherever he went. He was a fine leader, and a true father to his men, one that every warrior after him aspired to be. Unfortunately, that man was... no longer with us.

Oh, wait, just so you don't get the wrong idea, it's not like he died or anything! You know death is a thing of the far distant past in the Servantverse, right? I mean, where do you think this story took place? Earth?

Ahem, anyway, yeah, that man didn't die. He just... last I heard, he retired and went to a beach resort called Space-Okeanos or whatever. And he won't return our calls, so we pretty much just consider him MIA. Nothing we can do about that. The old man does deserve his retirement after all the good he's done. Besides this story isn't about him. It's about what happened afterwards.

So there we were. The Diado-χῖ. The king's companions and successors who fought by his side all those years ago. He never named a true successor to rule over his empire, so there was a bit of an internal struggle between us... luckily, we snapped out of it and stopped punching each other in the face before it was too late. The king's territory was massive, and there's no way any one of us could manage it single-handedly. Each territory was just so culturally, historically, geographically, and socially different for us to rule with a single foundation.

Fearing the potential collapse of this vast empire, the Diado-χῖ held a meeting and proposed different ways to keep thing together. Some wanted to rule through politics. Others through laws, religion, military, and so on. The meeting went in circles for a while, until I, Ptolemy I, came up with a single foundation that would unite all the previous ideas. A concept that remains constant and objective, wherever you may be... money. Even if times, values, and laws change, the value of money would remain more or less the same. After some discussion, it was decided that the other proposed methods can be applied where necessary, depending on the territory... so long as the force of money is there to keep things in line. As the genius who proposed this idea, I was appointed as the de facto leader of the Diado-χῖ, though I also had to include the others as part of the "Board of Directors". Standard company procedure to make sure I don't abuse my power and whatnot. I'm not complaining, since their insights and various expertise had proven helpful for the company time and time again.

Thus, Serapeum Holdings, Inc. was born. We started out by "nationalizing", or at least acquiring major companies in the colonies. Then we continued our bloodless campaign from there, one business at a time. Eventually, our great vision succeeded; the empire remained afloat. Laws and religions helped, sure, but the most important thing keeping them together was money, exactly as I predicted. At one point, we essentially controlled what every citizen can and can't have. Unfair prices, corruption, monopolies (aside from our own) were crushed without mercy. It's a necessary evil to keep his dream alive.

...Oh, I know that sounds bad, but we're no dictators, I swear! We kept things fair; prices were reasonable, and our workers were compensated adequately for their troubles!

So, the empire was at peace, and everyone was happy... for a while, at least. Then we turned our attention to potential invaders. People who threaten our glorious empire's unity from the outside. Some of us were quick to pick up their weapons, ready to put their very lives on the line for the empire... but I stopped them. I personally consider such methods... barbaric, for lack of a better term. After all, we already have a more efficient tactic available; our enemies rely on swords, cannons, armors, and other weapons, but do you know what's needed to manufacture them? Yup! Money. Resources. Workers. Thus, we launched a preemptive economic invasion on them first, acquiring their businesses just like we did with ours, bleeding the invaders' pockets dry and ending a war before it even began, all without spilling a drop of blood! It's not easy, mind you; some people obstinately refused to join us, despite all the gifts and benefits we offered, but when we metaphorically strangled their supply lines by acquiring every other business they depend on, they all folded! That's the beauty of an economic system where businesses are so deeply intertwined with one another!

That's the gist of it! We continued to expand our borders and became a household name all across the Servantverse! We turned even our worst critics into friends and subsidiaries, and ensured that prosperity would continue to fall upon every corner of our glorious empire!

Praise be to Serapeum Holdings, Inc.!

"Money, of course! Ah, but I suppose I need to clarify; liking money solely for the sake of money itself is shallow. I like money for what it can do. It's a magical key that opens new opportunities, and perhaps more importantly, a glue that keeps a massive intergalactic empire together despite their myriad of differences. It is the ultimate weapon that keeps my king's dream alive. That's why Serapeum will continue to strive for even greater heights; for his sake."

"You'd think I hate the lawsuits, slanderous accusations, and clickbait headlines I have to deal with on a near-daily basis. Surprisingly, that's... not entirely accurate. I consider them mildly bothersome, but I suppose it's normal for any successful businessman; get rich enough, and people will start accusing you of being a mass-murdering, psychopathic, satanic, baby-eating lizard monster. And that's just some of the lighter things I've been called. I think the same applies to Earth's billionaires as well? Well, in any case, I can neither deny nor confirm those claims! You gotta crack a few eggs to create a business as big as this one!"

For the glory of the empire!"
    ...
"What happens to those not part of the empire, you ask? Ahaha, that's a silly question! Everyone and everything will be assimilated into our empire sooner or later! I do prefer it to be sooner, though. See, you get a bunch of nice benefits if you decide to join us now, just like what it says in this pamphlet here..."

    William Burke & William Hare:
"Oh boy, who doesn't love cheap labor? You're hired! I don't recommend using your Noble Phantasm on me, though, unless you want the full might of Serapeum to wipe you off the face of the earth. I've dealt with so many of your kind before that one more case of slander means nothing to me."

    Jesse Livermore:
"I don't consider myself much of a gambling- er, speculating man, but I do try my hand in stocks from time to time. I compare it to reconnaissance, or a preemptive ambush to scout key businesses to acquire. Say, how'd you like to work as my financial consultant? Serapeum could use someone like you on the job."

    Pope Alexander VI:
"Mind-reading, eh? It's nice to see someone as devoted to 'friendship' as we are in Serapeum! Why don't you join us in Human Resources? We've got a nice office ready with your name on it!"

    Jirocho Shimizu (Summer):
"Ice cream... hardly an essential business, but we'll take every help we can to establish our presence here. Now, wanna talk about the terms of our partnership, buddy?"

    Servants known for using Servantgram:
"Hiiii, it's a real pleasure to make your acquaintance! You're what the earthlings call an 'influencer', right? Listen, this may seem sudden, but how would you like to work for me? All you gotta do is plug in this product at the end of your next livestream! As for your payment, feel free to schedule an appointment with me afterwards. Serapeum has something for everyone. If you won't take cash, I'm sure there's something that could tickle your fancy."

    Nacton H. Ashling:
"Oh my, to think earth has its own expert businessman who's been working since time immemorial. And you don't seem like you'll bend as easily as the rest of them. How amusing. Very well, I accept your challenge, Serpent. Let's see who'll come up with the highest sales at the end of this period, shall we?"

Pope Paul VI & Patriarch Athenagoras I:
"As impressive as your feats were, I'm afraid unity based on religion is just too... subjective. Why did you think Christianity split in the first place? As your values change, there's a nonzero chance for your church to undergo another schism at some point. And that's just talking about one religion! You're going to need something more universally constant if you want to realize that vision of unity you have in mind. Luckily, we at Serapeum are striving for exactly that! You too can join us, and spread the good word to your flock!"

    Amazoness CEO:
"One of the few businesses bold enough to resist our inevitable, large-scale economic assimilation. A constant thorn on my side. I do admire her grit, but can't she see that our operations are performed under everyone's best interests? ...Tch, no matter. It's just a matter of time. Serapeum will devour everyone and everything in the end. For the sake of his dream..."

    Iskandar:
"M-My king, is that really you..? Um, how was the spa at Okeanos? Eh? You're not him? Oh, um... apologies. It seems I've mistaken you for someone else."

    Ptolemy I Soter (Earth):
"So that's what my earth counterpart is like... he did well, considering the hand he was dealt. Still, I think he could have set his sights higher. That fancy god Serapis of his had proven itself effective as a tool of social cohesion. Now if he just had enough time to spread it further..."

    Creator's notes
...Man, he really did turn out to be multiverse Zucc.

    - I initially planned him to be a bit more morally ambiguous, but after reading through most of his dialogue, I feel like revealing in the end that he's actually a decent person would feel like a cop-out, so I just decided to run the "evil corporate executive" joke to its natural conclusion.

    - There are times where you want to write a cool NP with three paragraphs of lore background and five different conceptual effects. Then there are other times where you just wanna slap a cool giant laser on someone and be done with it. As for the second one... you know that guy from Bungou Stray Dogs who also used money to make himself stronger? Yeah, it's inspired from that one. Oh well, this is the Servantverse we're talking about, so it's not like we need to take the lore so seriously, right?

    - I decided to borrow Reploid's style and keep the description section simple with just likes/dislikes/wish. I feel like his personality is already explored well enough in his Skills, NPs, and lore, so writing anything else there would just feel repetitive.

    - I'm keeping this one for Morg's Servantverse project. I wonder how that one's coming along.

The Borg/Disney has gained a small scale Death Star. All hope is lost.
I wonder how he'd feel about LoT. I should really sit down and make that thing I promised months ago.
Do you like jazz short stories? Do you want something to distract from making Servants? Do you wish the idea of Shirou Kotomine didn't immediately bring edgelords to mind? Well, I can't promise it's good, but some would disagree with me.

I swear that meme is everywhere... Anyway, Ibrahim II of Ifriqiya is nice with her personality and her Monstrous Delusion skill. For Ptolemy I Souter but in SPACEEEEE! A creative reimagining of him in the wacky Servant universe. Also definitely agree with wanting just a simple NP sometimes.

The road ahead is always full of danger.
But no matter what happens, never submit to despair.
When facing hopelessness, just moving forward will not be enough.
We must soar high into the skies.

The falcon of Quraysh is Abd al-Rahman, who escaped by his cunning the spearheads of the lances and the blades of the swords, who after wandering solitary through the deserts of Asia and Africa, had the boldness to seek his fortune without an army, in lands unknown to him beyond the sea.

Having naught to rely upon save his own wits and perseverance, he nonetheless humiliated his proud foes, exterminated rebels, organized cities, mobilized armies, secured his frontiers against the Christians, founded a great empire and reunited under his scepter a realm that seemed already parcelled out among others.

No man before him ever did such deeds. Mu'awiya rose to his stature through the support of Umar and Uthman, whose backing allowed him to overcome difficulties; Abd al-Malik, because of previous appointment; and I, the Commander of the Faithful, through the struggle of my kin and the solidarity of my partisans. But Abd al-Rahman did it alone, with the support of none other than his own judgment, depending on no one but his own resolve.

    In the midst of my garden grows a palm-tree;
Born in the West, away from the country of palm-trees.

I cried: You are like me, for you resemble me
In wandering and peregrination, and the long separation from kith and kin.

    You also grew up on a foreign soil;
Like me, you are far from the country of your birth.

May the fertilizing clouds of morning water you in exile,
May the beneficent rains besought by the poor never forsake you.

    Class: Rider
    True Name: Abd al-Rahman I
    Gender: Male
    Alignment: Lawful Neutral
    Origin: Historical Facts and Rumours
    Attribute: Man

Abd al-Rahman I Al-Dakhil was the 8th century prince of the Umayyad Dynasty who fled from the massacre of his royal family in the wake of the Abbasid Revolution. After a perilous 5 year journey from Damascus across Palestine, Egypt and North Africa, he eventually arrived in the Iberian Peninsula.

Here he managed to gather and organize an army against the region’s unpopular governor, taking advantage of the divisions within the region. After attaining victory and securing sovereignty over all of Al-Andalus, he founded and ruled the Emirate of Cordoba, a powerful state that will bring prosperity and prestige to the region for centuries to come.

    Parameters:
    STR: C
    END: A
    AGI: A
    MGI: D
    LCK: D
    NP: A+

    Class Skills:
    Magic Resistance: A
Built from princely virtues and unflinching faith, it is the resistance which allowed Rider to endure the malevolent curses of his assassins and overcome encounters against various magecraft-related adversaries and phenomenons across his journey to the unknown.

    Riding: A+
Although Rider does have expertise and experience regarding mounted combat as well as handling mounts and vehicles, at best it would normally only merit B-rank. However, the high rank of this skill comes from the fact that Rider is considered to be “one and the same existence” as his steed, the “Saqr Quraish” Noble Phantasm.

    Personal Skills:
    Charisma of the Entrant: B
A unique version of Charisma, it is the inspiring aura and capability to lead the masses, command armies and rule a nation. As an upstart prince who sought refuge in unfamiliar lands and ended up ruling a foreign realm, Rider earned the title of Al-Dakhil (The Entrant, or The Immigrant).

In essence, Rider’s charm shines the most in circumstances where he can be called a “stranger”, a “newcomer” to those he exert influence upon.

    Flight of Survival: B++
An amalgamation of skills and techniques necessary to preserve oneself from the danger and peril of forces and enemies stronger than oneself. It includes a composite of low rank Determination of Steel, Independent Action, Presence Concealment and Disengage.

In addition, as long as Rider is within this “flight mode”, he will steadily generate and accumulate magical energy and receive plus modifiers to his Agility and Endurance parameters. It is somewhat similar in principle to how an Avenger-class Servant continuously receives mana with their “Avenger” skill.

Crown of the Palm Tree: EX
The grace and authority Rider obtained at the end of his journey. Like that palm-tree that thrives on a foreign soil, Rider established himself in Al-Andalus as its Emir, laying the foundation for the glorious future of the Iberian Peninsula.

It is the achievement that crowned Rider as one of the greatest emerging rulers of the 8th Century Mediterranean world, alongside the Abbasid Caliph Harun ibn Rashid and the Holy Roman Emperor Charlemagne. It is essentially the Imperial Privilege skill under a different name for all intent and purposes.

    Noble Phantasms:
    Saqr Quraish
Wings of Prophecy Soaring into the Ends of the World
    Type: Anti-Army
    Rank: B+
    Falcon of the Quraish.
The epithet Rider received from his greatest enemy, the Abbasid Caliph al-Mansur. Such designation is among the highest honour that the descendants of the Prophet’s tribe can receive. Even today, the Falcon remains a proud symbol of military might for the Arabs.

It is said that the Falcon is modelled after the Roc, mythological giant bird-of-prey of ancient Arab legends, a species related to the Gryphon (parent of the Hippogriff). Other legends also connect it to the fiery Phoenix, or the hellish Ababil. As a Noble Phantasm, the Falcon of Quraish essentially encomppases the qualities of these three legendary birds.

This Noble Phantasm can also take three different forms and functions. First, as a normal falcon-sized familiar that can fire hellfire bombs from its mouth, like the Ababil. Second, as a giant rideable monster bird the size of a small building, like the Roc.

The third and final form is available for Rider himself, and like the Phoenix it allows him to “rise from the ashes”, granting him a potent Battle Continuation akin to a complete resurrection. Afterwards, this Noble Phantasm becomes imbued into Rider’s Saint Graph, blessing him with flaming wings and blazing mana bursts.

    Mezquita de Andalucía
God Willing, Holy Law Shall be Established to this Land
    Type: Fortress
    Rank: A
    The Grand Mosque of Cordoba.
The building that can be said to embody the entire period of history that was Muslim Spain, Al-Andalus. It is proof of its might, it is a symbol of its golden age, and it even continues to function as a Cathedral after the Reconquista.

Like a tranquil garden of palm trees, the pillars of the Mezquita at the foundation of this Noble Phantasm can function as a base of operation, quite similar to a certain Holy Roman Emperor’s Noble Phantasm.

Thankss. In this case, the intro really is just copy paste from the actual narration of his nemesis, al-Mansur and that last poem is an actual poem by Abd al-Rahman himself.

Day 4 of F/lcposting! We're back at it with convoluted nonsense!

    LANCER
"It's high time I gave this ignorant era a first-hand lesson in how to treat a lady."

    Basic InformationBasic Information

Alias: Scamander, Asteropaios Classes: Saber, Lancer, Rider
True Name: Xantho Source: Iliad, Fabulae
    Gender: Female Region: Greece

    Traits:
Animal: Something gained in retrospect as a Heroic Spirit. She's not happy about it.
Divine: As a descendant of the god Axios, Xantho was one of the only a handful of heroes boasting divine heritage in the Iliad.
Divine Spirit: Xantho is a Nereid, albeit one restricted by the limits of her container. However, this has little bearing on her Spirit Origin outside her river’s vicinity due to her obscurity. She is mostly shaped by her human attributes, and so is summonable as a Servant.

    Class SkillsClass Skills

    Magic Resistance A

The ability to cancel Magecraft depending on its level. At Rank A, it is possible to negate even the highest levels of modern Magecraft. Xantho, having ascended to the echelons of Mystery possessed by the gods, is almost completely immune to such newborn illusions.

    Personal SkillsPersonal Skills

Essence of the Sea God D++

A special variant of Divinity, a measure of one's Divine Spirit aptitude specifically in the context of an ocean god. Xantho demonstrates the highest degree as a mortal with divine blood who ascended to the Throne of Gods while living. As one who became a Nereid in life and is attested after death among them in the Fabula, she can momentarily push herself to reach the level of a Divine Spirit while a Servant.
    Battle Continuation B

Even when fatally wounded by Achilles, Xantho pushed herself to pull his own spear from the banks to keep fighting, and her inertia was only stripped from her by Hephaestus’s direct intervention. Even when critically injured, she can continue fighting with barely any loss in ability so long as it is possible to do so.
Eye of the Mind (False) C

Xantho possesses the ability to calmly analyse battle conditions as though from a bird's eye view in order to determine a winning strategy. However, due to her lack of experience, it is difficult for her to deduce things about her enemy such as weaknesses, so she is usually limited to only worrying about herself.
    Affection of the Goddess A+

Denotes the heavy, drowning love of a goddess. In Xantho’s case, it is not the affection of a single goddess, but no less than eleven of the fifty Nereids who are rooting for her from a place far from here. Her parameters are granted a substantial bonus from each Nereid individually. Normally this skill would be Ranked as EX for that reason, but in compensation, she also receives several substantial debuffs due to the grudges against her from various gods of Olympus, largely cancelling this bonus out and reducing it to Rank A+ instead as well as removing any bonus to Luck.

    Noble PhantasmNoble Phantasm

    Tribute — Flames of Life
    EILITHERÍS DYNAMENE

    Anti-Unit Class
    Rank B

    Range: 2~4
    Max targets: 1 person

A Divine Construct and one of the twin spears that Xantho wields. It shares an origin with her other spear, and has a similar story to Achilles's own spear behind it. On a certain occasion, two Nereids with a particularly fierce rivalry each fashioned a spear as a dowry and presented it to Asteropaios at once — an act equivalent to both asking her hand in marriage simultaneously and demanding she choose. Asteropaios looked carefully on both spears, but not fully understanding the intention behind the gifts, she gleefully took both, claiming that both were finely made and that she was grateful that they both thought so highly of her as to gift her with such work. This naturally caused quite a stir.

These spears do not have a True Name Release, but their effects are continuous. Eilitherís Dynamyne, the spear of ash, holds a fire attribute that it applied to all attacks made with it for minor bonus damage, but its core lies within its defensive abilities. As the flames consume the air as all fire does, it passively also absorbs its mana, allowing Xantho to replenish magical energy at a high rate for accelerated regeneration. As their bodies are also made from Ether, it also means that a "life drain" effect is applied to the spear when attacking Servants and other bodies of Ether. This tendency to break down magical energy means that this also applies to any spells that are nullified by Xantho’s Magic Resistance, as well as adding the spear’s Rank to the skill’s. Furthermore, any status effects and debuffs applied to her are reduced in duration and effectiveness as the spear breaks them down in order to heal her. It is even capable of breaking down curses of mortality with enough time, although when pitted against an opponent with ultra-high speed, it is entirely possible that it simply will not be fast enough to allow that edge.

At peak effectiveness, Eilitherís Dynamyne’s healing can be compared to repeatedly being struck by a Rank B Noble Phantasm for "negative damage" every turn. Because it is so self-sufficient, Xantho is even capable of operating without her Master’s magical energy supply unless under high strain.

    Tribute — Snows of Death
    PIKTIKÓS PHEROUSA

    Anti-Unit Class
    Rank B

    Range: 2~4
    Max targets: 1 person

A Divine Construct and one of the twin spears that Xantho wields. Of this Noble Phantasm and her other, she changes which spear she holds in which hand depending on the occasion. Because she is left-handed, that means that she always considers which spear to defend with first. In the case of this Noble Phantasm, it can be said that it is almost invincible when it comes to parrying.

The spear of death held often in Xantho's offhand holds a curse of crystallisation that is somewhat comparable to a curse of mortality such as that found on her self-defined rival’s own spear. Piktikós Pherousa crystallises magical energy on contact, seemingly "freezing" it and transforming it into a more rigid state. The curse lingers for a variable amount of time depending on the extent of the contact, with it dissipating immediately if it was merely contact with the outer layer, but can last anywhere between seconds and hours if the spear pierced it. Incidentally, Xantho herself can cancel this curse at any time simply by willing it.

The frozen magical energy will solidify as it is, preventing its effects from progressing any further without dispersing it. Magecraft is paused, Servants will find their wounded limbs numbing and unable to move or shift into spirit form, Magic Circuits will be jammed, and even Noble Phantasms will have their activations halted in their tracks. Because these things will not dissipate, they will simply remain fixed, usually keeping their current course if they possess velocity. Projectiles will gain the ability to pierce barriers no matter their thickness for as long as the curse persists, unable to be diverted from their path while it holds. In the case of something that is already active, the curse will force it to remain active.

For those like spirits and Servants with bodies made of magical energy, this is an incredibly insidious curse that can paralyse them for even days. The extent of its effect can be abated somewhat by Magic Resistance, but this will only reduce the spread of the paralysis. Servants are of a high enough spiritual status that they can generally limit the curse to a single body part such as a limb even without a defensive skill, and it seems that their natural Endurance and Mana Ranks also play a part. However, if even a single part of the body is paralysed, it prevents the Servant from phasing into their spiritual form, as well as constantly draining their magical energy to limit the spread of the curse. Due to the spear's age and its status as a Divine Construct, it goes without saying that a modern Magus would have essentially no hope of curing the ailment that this Noble Phantasm inflicts even if they themselves aren't afflicted by it. Unless one has ability on par with a specialised healer from the Age of Gods, the most sensible cure is simply waiting for it to pass.

    Tribute — Falling Phoenix
    DIDYMITÓKOS AIKMÁZO YGROPYRINÓPSYKROS

    Anti-Army Class
    Rank A+

    Range: 10~50
    Max targets: Variable

Xantho’s own techniques, sublimated into a Noble Phantasm. Despite being left-handed, she was trained to fight with her right hand, though her stubbornness usually led to using her left for her own benefit regardless. However, upon receiving the two spears, she made an effort to learn to utilise both of them at once, becoming known as an ambidextrous warrior. Among the heroes of the Iliad, there are many who use spears, and many who have excellent prowess with it, whether they specialise in fighting in close quarters with it or in throwing it. However, in the entirety of the war, there was only one who was skilled enough in wielding two weapons that both Achilles's immortality and even his divine shield were outmatched.

A throwing move that Xantho boasts would put her fellow warriors to shame. After gaining sufficient distance, she pours a surge of magical energy into her weapons and throws them as a single projectile. The impact is intensely powerful, the magical energy discharged easily enough to blow aside dozens of opponents, with even the blast holding the effects of both the spears. The explosion will expand indefinitely so long as the explosion has magical energy to consume, causing Xantho to boast that the attack can't be evaded, although the mana in the air is insufficient for infinite growth. Those who are hit by the blow are paralysed, frozen in place by their own magical energy as well as the mana in the air while the expanding explosion drains them dry. Against an attack that uses magical energy, even against an active Noble Phantasm provided that its power is not superior to that of this one, the two thrown spears are able to halt it in its tracks and absorb it, healing Xantho for as much damage as it would inflict. It is her most powerful counterplay, a borderline cheat ability allowing her to perfectly transform all but the strongest of attacks into a benefit for herself.

The trump card of this particular Noble Phantasm lies not in the effects of the blast, but the nature of the projectile. Because it is "two missiles as one", it is capable of hitting two targets simultaneously. In other words, even if one were to raise an unbreakable and impenetrable shield, the attack will still strike true, as Didymitókos Aikmázo Ygropyrinópsykros will hit both that shield and the target simultaneously.

    Xantho
A word meaning "yellow" in Greek. It is a name for a number of things — a certain river, a certain horse, a certain Nereid. In truth, they are one and the same. For her crimes of almost jeopardising fate itself, Asteropaios was largely erased from history by the Twelve Olympians, with only the final battle against Achilles remaining in the record. Several of her other deeds were attributed to other parties, such as the river Scamander itself. In a particularly insulting stroke of mockery, her conversations with her rival Achilles were attributed to his horse Xanthos... which in turn leads the Servant Xantho to be identified as a horse herself despite not actually being one. In turn, when Achilles is summoned with his horses, a fragment of her own ego is carried with him in the form of that horse's own intellect, although neither Achilles nor the horse are aware of this.

    Nereid
A class of minor goddesses. They are a group of sea nymphs, and do not possess the immortality of the Twelve Olympians. Called the fifty daughters of Nereus, they are his attendants, and often give aid to seafaring heroes in Greek mythology. Because they must number at fifty attendants but lack immortality, they must occasionally be replenished, and so are selected from among the great women of Greece and the areas surrounding it. The selected humans are then deified. Other notable Nereids include Galatea, Calypso, Eurydice, and Thetis. Incidentally, there was once a famous monument thought to be dedicated to the Nereids in the city of Xanthos.

    BackgroundBackground

Asteropaios was born in the kingdom of Pelagonia to her father Pelagon.

Pelagon himself had been a great hero in his day, the son of a river god named Axios and a mortal woman named Periboea. He took part in a great many adventures before the founding of his kingdom, but one that stood out to him most was the chariot race for Hippodamea's hand. While he did not actually win, he narrowly escaped the terrible fate promised to the losers, and looked on as Pelops eventually emerged victorious. The reason he had sought her hand to begin with was admiration; the princess possessed an astounding ability as a charioteer, which in turn inspired him to train his own daughter in the arts of war.

When outside, Asteropaios would frequent the riverside of the Yellow River Xanthos. There, she would be visited by various water goddesses, the Nereids, who would often traverse the stream. With charming confidence, she would always take on whatever challenges they gave her. Originally, they sought to tease her, but as she began to conquer the games they set, they began to realise that she had the makings of a hero about her like her father. Like so, she won many of their playful affections with her youthful vigour even as the trials they set for her became increasingly demanding. Eventually, they began to ask genuine favours from her, and she complied just as cheerfully, solidifying her place in their hearts: she had been taking them seriously this entire time.

On one such errand, Asteropaios made her way to Amydon, announcing her existence to the capital of Paeonia in a particularly messy fashion after accidentally provoking a warrior by the name of Apisaon. The misunderstanding was compounded further when she eagerly accepted his challenge and started a fight in public. The duel was only broken up by a general by the name Pyraechmes, who was particularly unimpressed with their manners. Before long however, she found herself headed to aid Troy in a rising war with them, preparing for battle despite initially refusing to go. Xantho does not remember what led her to agree to fight, but she jokes that she suspects it was something like a competitive spirit. The more likely explanation is that she simply changed her mind and wished to help her friends.

On arrival, she was made a part of a trio with Sarpedon and Glaucus in a charge that felled the gates of the Greeks. For her first battle, it was incredibly successful, and she was beginning to enjoy herself. After all, she was fortunate enough to have remained by the river where the Nereids had been dwelling, and their adoring support was intoxicating. Regardless, it was stained in bitterness shortly after when a certain Greek hero came to slay her allies en masse, including her friend Pyraechmes. She was consumed with rage, seeking out Achilles to fight and announcing herself to him as "one of Xanthos". However, as they fought, Asteropaios quickly came to realise that it was not him who had killed her friends, but an imposter. She recognised his strength, seeking to keep fighting, but their battle was soon broken up by divine intervention, and she swore to fight him again on fairer grounds, to which he agreed. The two clashed multiple times after that, and on one occasion she observed that the two of them seemed to be fated to die here in this war, to which Achilles bitterly responded something along the lines of "yeah, but you don’t have to say it out loud". The two shared an equal distaste for destiny and the will of the gods, and over that and their competitive attitudes, they seemed to have become something like friends. While Achilles never saw her as his rival as much as Hector, Asteropaios took him extremely seriously as a combatant.

During Achilles's rage, they clashed for the fourth and final time. In his fury at the death of Patroclus, filling the river Scamander with the bodies of those he was slaying, he was polluting the waters where she grew up with that rage. Asteropaios saw herself mirrored — her own anger at the death of her friends at Patroclus’s hand. It was this that made her realise the incredibly obvious fact that she had been avoiding — Achilles was her enemy. He always had been, regardless of anything else, and if she did not stop him now...

    Her allies would die.
    Troy would lose.
The Nereids would suffer from the blood being spilled into the water.
But most importantly, destiny would be fulfilled.

She could not allow that. For the sake of her allies, for the sake of Troy, for the sake of her beloved goddesses, and for the sake of Achilles himself, she charged on him. At first he did not recognise her in his blind fury, but he began to come to his senses as he experienced the strength of his opponent. Through his invulnerability, Asteropaios had actually hurt him. But it was the moment of vulnerability immediately afterwards that led to the opening with which Achilles fatally wounded her, and with her further attempts to fight through that wound, even Hephaestus intervened and stopped her from continuing. As she lay dying, Achilles lamented that of course she was unable to defeat him — as the son of Zeus, the favour of the gods lay with him. When he sent her body down the riverbank, as if to spite that very notion, none other than the Nereids appeared to ferry Asteropaios's soul away.

"You did well. Better than anyone."
    "I didn’t do anything special."
"You saved that man’s heart, didn’t you? And you protected us. You stood up for us even if it killed you."
"That’s nothing special either. You know that I didn’t care about the politics here."
"That’s just like you, Aste. Come on. We’ll be the ones to save you now."

The river was known as Scamander by men, but as Xanthos by the gods. The granddaughter of Axios had claimed that river for herself a long time ago, so it was no surprise when a new Nereid by the name of Xantho was recorded among them. That is her True Name, after all — Asteropaios was what she was called when she became a human, but the name of that river was what she called herself in the moment that she became a hero.

Xantho's most standout trait is her honesty to a fault. Taking everything seriously and hiding nothing, she is a person that is particularly easy to hate simply because she has no weaknesses. Confidently laying her inner thoughts bare without reserving a thing as if provoking everyone around her, it is particularly fortunate that she is the charitable type. Ever the optimist, she focuses first and foremost on what she can do right at this moment, and if there isn’t anything then she simply ignores it until a course of action arises. In this sense, she is an incredibly active person, and is particularly averse to boredom. Perhaps this is why she has taken on the habit of simply helping others because she has nothing better to do. Her policy is an open mind and an open heart. It nominally also includes open legs, but she died a virgin, so apparently that is less of a priority.

That said, she is still of very blue blood indeed, and is inclined to act rather entitled in situations where she doesn't get her way. While she is ordinarily fine with her opponents giving themselves unfair advantages (usually with a smug smirk and a remark that "I suppose you do need it to stand a chance after all"), she gets particularly infuriated when she is unable to act herself. In such a scenario, she transforms in an instant from a dashingly imperturbable heroine who meets every challenge with a grin of anticipation into a bratty princess stomping her feet in frustration at the "foul play" that robs her of her chance to hit back. As a person who prides herself on never slowing down, it isn’t hard to see why she would be infuriated by such a thing even before considering the constant divine intervention that ruined her life.

She is particularly prideful and boasts that she is one of the world’s greatest warriors, getting rather upset if one were to suggest that she is, for example, obscure to all but the most ride-or-die Iliad fans, who even then would draw a blank upon actually meeting her. Taken in comparison to the man she declared her rival, whose name is famous around the world, she would most likely end up sulking by herself for a while. Even an offhanded remark that "I thought you were a man" would inspire her to grumble at length about being deserving of more respect.

"I get why that guy is famous, he totally should be, but I'm his equal, dammit! Why the hell is that shiny-headed old man remembered as being his greatest challenge?!"

It would be wise not to inform her that her conversations with Achilles that were recorded ended up being attributed to his horse.

She has something of a grudge against the idea of destiny, and claims that she wouldn’t hesitate to "sock the Moirai in the nads" given the chance. As such, she revels in the very concept of the Holy Grail War, allowing her to finally go all-out against worthy opponents without the gods or fate weighing her down. She probably has a somewhat profound wish hidden in the recesses of her heart somewhere, but she doesn’t really seem to know what it is. She'll settle for wishing for a rematch with Achilles — a fair one this time.

This is a very nice sheet though I think is the simplest one so far and that is not necessarily a bad thing. It's actual looks quite clean and nice kind like your typical divine lancer spirit. Though what do you think of the sheets that were publish today.

    Gonna be totally honest. I haven't had time to read them. I've been trying to translate the latest 20k character chapter in a Japanese webnovel, which I will now try to get back to before sunrise ^^;

I will get around to them, I'm sure.

And it's here! Nice face claim. Alright, good parameters except for her luck, making any NPs that require a luck check to survive and can get past her op, please nerf spears, her worst nightmare. Her skills are pretty standard except for Essence of the Sea God. Her NPS is fucking bullshit though, with all three of them targeting magical energy. Seriously, you might as well just have created the NP type of Anti-Magical Energy (not that it rolls off the tongue as easily) but I'm confused about this sentence
At peak effectiveness, Eilitherís Dynamyne’s healing can be compared to repeatedly being struck by a Rank B Noble Phantasm for "negative damage" every turn.
Does that mean that she can survive being repeatedly hit by B Rank NPs with EILITHERÍS DYNAMENE? I'm also curious on how you managed to come up with the effects of the NPs. Like what made you decide that this spear would consume mp, this other spear would crystalize mp, and this final one can expand the explosion created by consuming mp?
As for the lore and personalty, not much I can say other than it's good due to my limited experience with them.
Finally, I think I might have spotted a foreshadowing in the sheet somewhere..... Let see if the future servants would prove it.

Honestly, the inspiration was pretty simple. The spears are based on the two fountains of hot and cold water that sprang up in the Iliad after Scamander was assblasted by Hephaestus. Fire consumes air, cold freezes things.

Also, Eiltherís Dynamene isn't strictly capable of making her survive things on that scale. It's more that if she does survive a hit like that, she can heal completely from the damage in about a minute, since it caps out at the level of a dedicated Rank B healing NP. Assuming she has a dense enough MP source to drink from that ED is capable of reaching its maximum, that is.

Sorry for the extreme nitpick, but simply cancelling curses without severe consequences doesn't sit right with me, even more so with the level of understanding of magecraft the othet sheets show. Is there an additional explanation for how that works?
