Lore:Spoiler:Lancer’s true name is Maui, a Kupua (demigod) hero of the many islands of Polynesia, each Nation has a different myth concerning him, but, his true story is much more complicated.
He is a Kupua, a demigod, Born from the Union of a mortal Named ‘Akalana and the Hawaiian Moon goddess Hina taking the form of Hinaakeahi, who had authority over fire.
Realizing the trouble the child could cause due his divine heritage, Hina threw the boy into the sea, but he survived, and washed ashore in New Zealand, where he was adopted by the Taranga, When he came of age, he was sent to the fire goddess Mahuika. Mahuika recognized the divine authority over fire that lay dormant within Maui, and she taught him to use it to his full potential, as well as allowing him to use a portion of her authority over fire.
Lore 2:Spoiler:Maui swore that he would use his power for good, and he spread the knowledge of fire to the Maori people of New Zealand, he would then go on to sail across Polynesia.
He was born with a soft heart and a empathic disposition towards other people, this made him somewhat dislike the gods for their whimsical nature. He sailed across the Polynesian islands, helping the locals with the problems they faced, whether they were wrathful gods, divine beasts, sea monsters or worse, he was seen as a savior and a hero among all of the people of Polynesia, who were often subject to the whims of the gods, he did all of this, asking for no other reward than his name to be remembered, hence every Polynesian nation has a myth involving him as benevolent god and a trickster figure, even though Maui would probably not want to be remembered as either.
Class Skills:Spoiler:Magic Resistance: A
Cancels spells of A-Rank and below, no matter what greater magecraft it is, Maui has high ranking divinity, being the son of the moon goddess Hina, he cannot be touched by magecraft.
Personal Skills:Spoiler:Divinity: A-
A demigod – Kupua, born of a mortal man and the Moon goddess Hina, his divinity is very high ranked, however, due to his legend being spread through different cultures, his divinity receives a slight rank-down.
Mana Burst (Flame): A+ –> Divine Flame of Mahuika: EX
Being the son of the Fire aspect of the Moon goddess Hina, and being taught to use it to its full potential by the fire goddess Mahuika, by applying this to his fish hook, lancer can use this skill to terrible effect. Once his Noble Phantasm is activated the flames become as hot as the core of a small star and this skill changes its name.
Natural Body: B
A perfect body since birth, Lancer knew neither disease nor weakness or exhaustion, he can temporarily rank up his STR, and no matter how many calories he ingests, his body shape will not change.
Binding and Beating the sun: A
Lancer can deals increased damage and takes less damage against servants associated with the sun, due to his mythical accomplishment of binding and beating the sun god – Tamanuitera, he is also more resistant against servants with abilities associated with fire. This skill would likely be a Noble Phantasm had he manifested under a different class.
Noble Phantasms:Spoiler:O’ Mahuika, set fire to all things
Te mura ahi o te atua ahi
(A++) Anti–Unit (self)
The divine flame of Mahuika, the fire goddess of the Maori people of New Zealand, and Maui’s adoptive Grandmother, A completely pure flame that arises from nothing, as it represents the concept of burning away rather than fire itself, it can set alight even water and ice. To keep burning, it uses Mana as fuel.
When its true name is invoked, it strengthens his already powerful Mana Burst (Flame) skill, turning into Divine flame of Mahuika: EX. Because of its potential to set fire to the whole world, Maui prefers to set fire to himself only, as he cannot be hurt by his own fire, using it as both an offensive and defensive weapon, anything that touches his body burns away until not even ash remains, and when he uses it on his weapon, it becomes a terrible tool of destruction that can only be stopped by a strong defensive Noble Phantasm. This Noble Phantasm cannot be deactivated manually, instead it will keep burning until Either Maui, or his Master is out of mana, Maui prefers to not use it if at all possible.
By engulfing his body in fire however, Maui’s spiritual core becomes vulnerable to Damage, a Strong anti-unit or an anti-army Noble Phantasm could destroy it in one hit.
The hook (spear) that pulls up the earth’s crust
Manaiakalani
(A+) (Anti–Planet?)
A divine construct forged from the Jawbone of Maui’s grandmother according to Maori mythology, however, this is a false retelling brought about by hundreds of years of mythology and history interweaving, the truth is that it used to be a spear forged by Kanaloa for his brother and war god Ku, when Ku found the spear less than appealing, he threw into a rock, and it bent itself into a fish hook shape upon impact.
Later, when Maui arrived in Hawaii, his mother, Moon goddess Hina, happy to see he had survived, gifted the spear, now a hook, to Maui.
The hook has the property of perpetually holding on to an object once it is jammed in, unless the user actively wishes for it to unhook itself, using this divine construct, Maui managed to accidentally pull up the other 7 Islands of Hawaii. He threw the fish hook so hard it jammed itself into the continental plate of the earth, and when he pulled he pulled up the crust and mantle into an active volcano, creating the islands of Hawaii as they are known today, to prevent further damage to the earth, Hina manifested and stopped him from doing this a second time.
When its true name is invoked, it morphs back into a spear, and it becomes capable of piercing any surface no matter how deep or strong it is, Maui throws it with sufficient force, and it will completely obliterate anything in its path until it strikes its target, in doing so, it will not slow down. This is the reason for its Anti-planet classification, if he knew the precise location of his enemy; he could hit them from the other side of the world by throwing it through the Earth, though this is more of a “party trick” to Maui than an actual tactic.
O’ Ku, be smitten down
Manaiakalani Mahuika – Ka make ‘ana o ke akua kaua.
(A++) Anti–Unit
It’s no secret that Maui absolutely despises the gods of Hawaii, save for his mother, who despite throwing him into the ocean, he still considered his mother, and loved her.
In particular, the tyrannical war god Ku was the worst of the worst, requiring human sacrifices be performed in his name, lest he rampage and kill across Hawaii, one day, a young child was selected to be sacrificed, and when Maui heard of this, he confronted Ku. Ku explained that the gods, including himself, had no say about this, and that the sacrifices were necessary to maintain balance, however, Maui was not convinced, and in rage, he Coated the divine hook in Mahuika’s fire burning so hot it reverted back into a spear, and then threw it with full force into Ku.
What happened next can only be described as divine murder of the highest order. When the spear impacted Ku, the flames converted all of his Mana into flames, creating a massive explosion that lit up the sky above Hawaii, setting flame to the clouds. Ku was instantly killed on the spot. However, the gods could not let a deicide go unpunished, and in return for the boy’s life, they commanded Maui to take his own life, instead, Maui asked to make the boy and all of humanity immortal instead, not wanting to relent, the gods wanted to kill Maui themselves, what happened next was a battle that lasted for almost a full year, Maui managed to best Kanaloa and Lono, but Kane, the supreme god proved too much of an opponent, and Maui was killed, but his actions substantially weakened the gods, bringing an end to the age of gods in Polynesia, and for freeing Polynesia of the Gods influence, he is worshipped as a hero to this day.
Invoking its true name means invoking the anger and fury Maui felt that day, when the spear is thrown, it will set ablaze the very air as its cuts through it, and when it impacts an enemy, it will do damage proportional to the Enemy’s divinity as well as the amount of mana they contain, this makes it insanely deadly against divine spirits, outright killing them in the process, and as for those with neither divinity nor high amount of mana, the force of the impact itself is enough to result in death, to speak nothing of the massive explosion the spear causes every time it impacts something.
It would be not incorrect to say that in this state, this Noble Phantasm is closer to a Broken Phantasm. And it goes without saying, but it requires an insane amount of mana to pull off.
Lore 3:Spoiler:A tragic Hero of justice who fought to shield the common man against the wrath of the gods. he travelled across Polynesia, helping people as he saw fit. And upon returning to Hawaii, he told his own mother about his exploits, Hina the moon goddess, apologized to him for throwing him into the ocean and asked him to not incur the wrath of the gods further.
“Mother, I respect your wish, but, these people have been trampled by the gods for too long. They have been suffering, and for what? I want to help them”
No reply came from Hina at those words, instead, a smile appeared on her face. She was glad, glad that her son was able to distinguish right from wrong, glad that he wasn’t whimsical and unfelling like the other gods were.
He got the last laugh in the end, weakening the gods enough that the humans of Polynesia could break free from them, but more than that, he saved the life of a young boy in the process, a greater death he could not wish for
Lore 4:Spoiler:Personality:
Cheerful, boastful, rebellious, always looking for a fight, his heart is pure, and cannot be stained by darkness, however, acts of evil irritate him, and he absolutely cannot forgive people who take the lives of innocent for their own personal gain.
With this robust sense of morality comes an incredibly short temper, against an opponent he thinks is evil, Maui won’t think, and will charge ahead, using his entire arsenal against them if necessary.
He considers other great heroes of Chaldea his equals, and will not turn down a fight against them if asked.
Other than that, he loves telling myths and stories about himself, to the point it gets annoying for anyone involved.
Pure of heart, cheerful, rebellious, his entire personality represents humanity at its greatest.

Hawaiian Karna
all jokes aside, This is the concept i ended up on, i know making him a powerhouse might not be the most original thing, and i ended up taking a lot of artistic license, but i could see myself using him in a future fanfic or something like that, so i am satisfied.
