Thing with Igor's class is they were originally Berserker before I changed them to Lancer mid-way through writing their sheet. On top of me liking the idea of a Lancer who used a shovel, I figured a second Frankenstein-related Berserker might be a bit redundant, if fitting

Also, can't believe I forgot about Igor in Persona until the last minute, especially since I have a whole completed Persona fanfic

Anyway, with Halloween ending, you know what this means... Dia de los Muertos Servants!

Can't believe it took us this long before we get a Servant whose NP allows them to genderbend themselves. Peak Nasu there. I could also see him as a Watcher or Gatekeeper, molding the Master into that mad scientist archetype, but I guess Lancer still works fine.

A shame I couldn't participate in this year's spooktober (unless you argue that Nobel is a horror story where "humans are the real monsters all along", but I think that's stretching it), but I'm enjoying these recent influx of spooky sheets nonetheless.
I can solve the genderbending issue
an upcoming servant Im planning changes its gender thrice, once per ascension.

    RIDER

“Both the woods and the people are my friends. We eat, sing, and dance together.

So long as we’re united, we can celebrate past any adversity!”

    KING OF UNITY
    AIRLANGGA

    Master: Fitri Kusuma

    General Information

Alias: King of Unity, Resi Gentayu
    Gender: Female
    Pronouns: She/Her
    H/W: 164 cm/54 kg
    Alignment: Lawful Good
    Attribute: Earth
    Region: Indonesia
Source: Historical Fact, Legends of Barong and Rangda
    Armaments: Keris, her own hands
Catalyst: A mask reminiscent of a legendary creature

    Parameters

    STR: B
    END: B
    AGL: C
    MAG: A
    LUK: C+
    NP: A

    Class Skills

Magic Resistance A+ Abnormally high for one of the Rider class, Airlangga’s feat of defeating the demon witch Rangda, along with the blessings of a nature god, has contributed to a high rank for this skill. If a spell doesn’t outrank this skill it fails, even if it’s a Greater Ritual or High Thaumaturgy. Against modern magi she is essentially untouchable.
Riding Although a Rider, she possesses no anecdotes of animal mounts. Instead it’s been altered to Dragon Riding due to her cooperation with Barong.

    Personal Skills

Charisma B+ A measure of one’s popularity, Rider possesses it as a king. She can raise the morale of her allies to fend off mental attacks and rally everyone closer together. Due to founding the Kahuripan Kingdom and the trust everyone placed on her, she has a bonus to this skill when it comes to gathering allies.
Divinity C+ In life Rider was revered as the Hindu god Vishnu, statues being carved of her in the likeness of that deity. The presence of Barong also bolsters this skill. While Rider herself has a minor aptitude for being a Divine Spirit, Barong allows her to pierce defenses as if she were of higher Divinity.
Dragon Riding C A skill for those that rode specifically dragons in life. In the case of Rider, it was the god Barong. Members of Dragon Kind can be tamed by her, though it will take some convincing. If they’re not willing to compromise with her then she simply can’t ride them; an endeavor aided by her Charisma.
Blessings of the Nature God A The blessings of Barong have imbued her with the permission of a nature god. By drawing upon the natural environment, she can manipulate it to her needs. She can make plants grow, speak to and understand animals, and so on.

"Oh no need to be scared. He's really quite nice once you get to know him!"

    Noble Phantasm

    Sacred Lord of the Land
    Sang Barongan

    Rank: A++
    Type: Anti-Evil
    Range:
    Max Targets: 0-400 people

“Old friend, it's so good to dance with you again!”

In the battle against the demon queen Rangda, Airlangga beseeched the aid of Barong, god of the land. Barong, whose power came directly from the land, had been severely weakened not only due to the death of the Age of Gods, but also Rangda’s assaults on nature. However, not even Barong in his desperate situation would ally with Airlangga on a whim. A promise was made between them-- a promise which remains unsaid. But it’s that very promise which allows for Airlangga to call on Barong as she did on the day of battle.

Barong takes the form of a massive four-legged creature adorned with the bright furs and metals attributed to him in the modern day. While he may resemble a lion, he also has traits of pigs, tigers, elephants, and dogs. He is summoned alongside Airlangga, and only she seems able to speak to him. While an independent being, he still responds to the desires of Airlangga-- though not necessarily the Master.

As a force of Good, damage taken from Good entities is severely reduced. While Evil entities are able to deal full damage to Barong, he also deals exceptional damage to Evil beings. Among other things he can also fly, rouse Nature Spirits, and grants Rider bonuses to certain skills. The primary method to inhibit Barong is to damage the environment, for it is the true source of his power. If he’s placed into a location without any nature, then it’s possible to slowly kill him.

    Noble Phantasm

A Dance for the King of Spirits
    Tarian Sang Barong

    Rank: A+
    Type: Anti-Army (Self)
    Range:
    Max Targets:

“Man and god! Nature and civilization! This is the form of good which can defeat evil!”

When the battle against Rangda’s swarm of demons came to a head, Airlangga and Barong were about to lose. Divided, there was too little coordination. Even if they were each powerful in their own right, Rangda’s power was simply too overwhelming. And so they unleashed their trump card.

A prototype of the modern day Barong Dance, Airlangga performed a dancing ritual that clears the mind and allows the possession of gods and spirits. This Noble Phantasm captures that moment: Airlangga performs a dance, and combined with a True Name Release, she and the god of nature are allowed to merge for a short time.

Every step causes a blossom of plantlife, challenging any properties that seek to destroy life. Rider gains the strength of a god, capable of challenging Rangda’s supernatural army all on her own. Each movement is as graceful as the dance itself, nature responding to her calls, the people protected from malevolent magic. For the time being Rider possesses all the properties of Barong, and her own capabilities are magnified greatly.

For the duration of the Noble Phantasm Rider is rapidly consuming mana, and if the Master cannot provide it then it will end prematurely. She is also completely exposed during the dance required to activate this Noble Phantasm, which on its own takes some time to complete.

    Personality

Airlangga looks out onto the horizon and thinks to herself, “That is a distance I can cross.” That sort of optimism is what holds her entire core together. If people are doing wrong she instead views it as her own mistake, as she’s meant to be the good that rallies people together, and is quick to take on the burdens of others. She’ll never admit to being tired of it, and more happily stating “This is something I want to do, so let me do it!”

Although a member of important royalty, Rider is also quick to become personal. She trusts without fail, blurts out what she means, and prods at the intentions of other people. The notion of “friendship” comes naturally to Airlangga, possibly due to her being so removed while alive. If she loves someone, she’ll say so. If she hates someone, she’ll say so. She’ll say these things with a smile and rose-tinted lens, as if she were a child that never met the cruel world.

    Legend

The sole king of the Kahuripan Kingdom, Airlangga was a woman born to two royal lineages and forced herself to create her own people. While born in Bali, her mother sent her to Java to become properly educated for the court and royal interactions. There she was taken care of by her uncle, king Dharmawangsa, and where Airlangga was betrothed for a uniting marriage. Everything seemed so simple at the time.

Her uncle, though, set his sights too high. He wrought Medang too clean of its resources, wanting too much to challenge the Srivijayan Empire. Dharmawangsa kept destroying his own land, all while happily smiling at his family and saying, “Everything will be alright.”

Destruction arrived on the day of Airlangga’s wedding. The enemies that Dharmawangsa had made, Srivijayan and Medang alike, sought to destroy this foolish king. Everyone on that day died except for Airlangga.

After the tragedy, she secluded herself in Mount Vanagiri as atonement for her own incapabilities. If she had been more ready, sooner and faster, then maybe she could have prevented it. It was her fault, she told herself. It was her fault.

But eventually she began to stand on her own two feet and scaled down that mountain. As she did she rallied support from the Kingdom that was destroyed, to those that were once loyal to Dharmawangsa, and to those who sought to be loyal to her. Using the ruins of the Medang Kingdom as bones, Airlangga fashioned from it the foundations of a new Kingdom known as Kahuripan. It was a kingdom for the people. Agriculture was greatly improved, religion was openly tolerated, and it too eventually became a center for the arts and for trade. From absolutely nothing, Airlangga managed to revive a Kingdom that ought to be dead.

She was bound to make her own enemies, though. During her reign, the demon queen Rangda appeared and sent her demonic servants to ravage the land. A plague began eating away at crops and humans. Airlangga, for the first time since her wedding day, was at a loss. All she knew was of the god that lived in the land-- the nature god revered as Barong-- and so she sought for his aid.

The two, after a debate and agreement, cooperated to defeat the wicked witch, saving the land from absolute destruction. Barong did this knowing that it meant humans would be able to continue trampling over his land. Airlangga only asked him after it was all done, “Why help humanity?”

He answered, “Us gods are outdated anyways, don’t you think? Just keep remembering us. That’ll be enough.”

When Barong faded away to return to the land, Airlangga treated it as sending off a good friend. She, and her descendants, would eventually kill that god. But still she continued to implement methods of preserving wildlife, attempting at the very least to slow down the inevitable.

Eventually it would be her time too, realizing the weakness of her body and slowness of her mind. As she aged, she looked out onto that horizon. “So that’s what my friend felt.”

So she ordered a halving of her great kingdom, the one born from nothing, and simply left under a different name. Airlangga didn’t want fighting between her two sons. She wanted them both to lead their people justly and rightly.

She didn’t live long enough to see how it would end up. But at the end of it all, it was a satisfying life.

Ooh, what a coincidence. I wrote this guy as an Archer last year and used this exact fc for his sister Ratna Manggali instead. I'm enjoying this less angstier take on him just as well, though.

Airlangga : Her FC's really cool. Her story is sweet, she's definitely my favorite servant from Fate/UpRise at the moment. Though I wonder, is it really necessary to give a special version of the Riding skill for dragons? Since we do have dragon riders in FGO (their riding skill is just exceptionally high).

When I first started prepping to post for the Monthly Contest, I actually happened to see that one! It's quite fun, the angle of assuming the likes of Arjuna is also one I considered, so it's cool to see someone else do something with it. Pretty interesting we ended up attaching two different gods to the figure, too.

An exceptionally high Riding would also include what all the rest of Riding includes, which isn't something I wanted to give her. Also, I believe it's something like Martha's profile that confirms the existence of a skill just for riding Dragons. I'm glad you like her, though!

Yup, I also noticed that we have different interpretations of which event happened when and where. I think that's just a problem with Indonesian myths in general; can't really be sure where the folklore ends and the actual history begins. Mixing the two can be a challenge, and I haven't even touched the whole Mahabharata --> Bharatayuddha syncretization rabbit hole.

Yeah! I keep wanting to rep my country but Indonesia does NOT make it easy lmfao. You've made me curious though; I'll check out your Ratna Manggali sheet!

I know right, One Idea that has been floating in my head is Dewi Anjani. Who is a complicated figure since she is said to be originally an Indian Goddess within her role in the Ramayana being Hanumans Mother though In Lombok she turns into a mortal princess/Queen of the Jinn and also a Muslim somehow it's confusing, to say the least like though the main problem for me is most stories that survived is like really short fables and folklore that always have this PG effect in it? Like that is not a lot to make a servant out of it.

You can always remove the PG effect and tell them "how things really happened" like I did with Ratna Manggali. Or just mix them with their Indian counterparts to add more meat to their stories (sort of did that with Dewi Sri, though more often than not, that also pushes you more to OC territory). I'm not the syncretization guy here, though, so deep lore dives aren't usually my specialty either.

    Source: Zaidizainal

    Class: Berserker
    Other Classes: N/A
    True Name: Puteri Gunung Ledang
    Alignment: Chaotic Good
    Place of Origin: Malaysian mythology
    Stars: 3/5

    Parameters:

    STR: A
    END: B
    AGI: D
    MGI: C
    LCK: C
    NP: B

    Height: 198cm
    Weight: 100lbs
    Likes: Mountains, seclusion, creating land
    Dislikes: Suitors, being touched
    Talent: Killing major heroes
    Natural Enemy: Cipactli
    Attribute: Sky
Traits: Female, Divine, Humanoid, Weak to Enuma Elish
    Armament: Nakhoda Ragam Kematian
Catalyst: A needle covered in a liquid mixed from betel nut juice, tears, blood, and gold

    Class Skills:

Madness Enhancement E+: She is not normally very mad, but whenever she gets physically touched by any sentient entity, she begins to fly into fits of rage, a severe case of haphephobia.

    Personal Skills:

Ruin of Malaka A: In many tellings of her story, the success of six of her requests caused the ruin of the Kingdom of Malaka, as he, unlike what she expected, attempted to complete them, tasking all resources to complete them and letting the kingdom sink. A constant aura of ruin that surrounds her, no matter how much she tries to dispel it.

Shipwreck Island B: The ship of her lover whom she killed was transformed by her into a set of six islands. As a manifested skill, this enables her to transform items into earth, from tiny items becoming merely pebbles, but larger ones can become boulders and truly titanic items can become small islands.

Mountain of Gold B: Her mountain, Gunung Ledang, was known as a rich mountain filled with gold drawing people from incredible distances to test their prospects at getting it. Of course, Berserker has claim to all that gold, allowing her to never run out in a way similar to golden rule. In addition, she also holds an aura pulling people closer, especially those looking for wealth. This however is a more disliked part of the ability.

Divine Core of the Goddess B: A perfectly born celestial princess from birth, she gains magic resistance at rank A, a perfection of body akin to Golden Rule (Body), and Divinity at the same rank.

    Noble Phantasm(s):

    Tujuh Mustahil
    Seven Impossible Demands

    Type: Anti-Army
    Rank: C
    Range: 100
    Max Targets: 10000

The sublimation of her seven impossible demands, of which six were fulfilled. This noble phantasm works in two parts: she can manifest the items given by each of the initial six gifts, whether it be golden and perfect walkways always underneath her, manifesting disease or mosquitoes, tears which cause sadness, or slippery and highly flammable oil. In addition, if someone is drawn to her, she can request them perform the seventh task, filling a bowl with the blood of the living one who they love most. However, she refuses to use this normally, which has ranked this down to C.

    Nakhoda Ragam Kematian
    Impaling the Greatest Hero

    Type: Anti-Unit
    Rank: B
    Range: Touch
    Max Targets: 1

The sublimation of her killing of her husband, Nakhoda Ragam, a hero so great at the very mention of his name enemies would run screaming. This noble phantasm can only be activated if she has recently been physically touched by the target. When its true name is called, the golden needle, around the size of her hand, that she constantly carries grows massively, before impaling the target in the chest, an attack that grows stronger the more times they have triggered her haphephobia.

Lore: Puteri Gunung Ledang, the Princess of Mount Ledang, was a Malaysian mythological figure. A sultan once tried to woo her, but she asked of him seven impossible demands as a way to reject him. However, unlike what she expected, he doomed his kingdom by attempting to complete six of them. Then, she married a famed hero, Nakhoda Ragam. However, due to his refusal to stop tickling her, she impaled him in the chest with a needle and retreated back to her mountain, swearing to never set her eyes on another man.

Personality: A normally calm, elegant person, seemingly (and literally thanks to her Golden Pathway) floating above everyone, as if an illusion. However, if anyone gets close enough to trigger her haphephobia, she goes wild, entering a mad range until they leave or are destroyed. Her wish is to be able to create a permanant field around her that means she cannot be touched.

    Relationships:

Cipactli: "So... I'm always touching you? No, no, NO! Please float higher, golden pathway. Please float higher!!!!"

Y2K: "Ah, marvelous, someone who feels similar to me. However, you should not merely lock yourself in one place."

Beatrice Rappacini: "See what happens when you get close to someone?"

Princess Amalia: "Why do I feel.. a pull coming from you?"

Carlo Gesualdo: "What sort of horrific entity are you?"

Fun fact: swords actually have a long and storied history of being involved with killing that most people don't know about. You can look it up, it's pretty interesting.
