    Rider

"It's not invincible strength what makes a hero, it's their heart which lets them keep fighting even in the darkest times. I've met so many heroes in the past and each one gave me courage and the power to smile again. Now it's my turn Master, to be the one to make you smile."

    Character
Rider takes the form of Sir Calogrenant, Knight of the Round Table - though not a Seat Holder like the more famous names. A young and lively man, Calogrenant was well liked by both his comrades and the public for his earnest and straightforward nature even if he could be impulsive which landed him in trouble. He often disagreed with the more "by the book" nature of Kay and Agravain and believed that Knights should be more flexible when dealing with situations as people aren't mere machines and have complexities. Tying into that, he also thought that no one was irredeemable (speaking from experience) and if he got a chance to meet Lancelot again he would punch him before telling him to stop sulking and get it together, then hold out his hand and say they'll walk the path back to the light together.

Calogrenant was especially famous for his courtship of Lady Morvydd which earnt him the title of one of Britain's Three "Ardent Lovers". Kay would often mock him for how he always turned dumb in her presence but Calogrenant didn't care how unbecoming of a knight it was to chase her around like a puppy - she meant everything to him. For her own part, Morvydd ran both hot and cold towards Calogrenant, she was completely aloof and ignored his constant affection but when he was away on duty she would complain about his absence. Calogrenant deep down viewed himself however as not truly worthy of her love due to his past and strove to constantly improve himself both morally and physically to be a man that she could love...even though in reality Morvydd already cared deeply for him but could not express it easily.

Even with his outward goofball nature, do not be fooled as Calogrenant is deceptively smart...when he wants to be. Having been raised as an expected future king, Calogrenant received the best education and he was hand-picked by Ywain to be one of Artoria's counsellors in her campaign to retake Britain from the Germanic tribes. When Calogrenant gets serious and focuses his mind, he practically turns into a different person as his mind races to process all the data - leaving him with a cold robotic demeanour throughout. That said, Calogrenant is wary of being asked to meticulously plan out strategies as he's seen the flow of battle change in an instant due to an unforeseen variable and so believes it's more important to trust in one's immediate judgement and instincts...also having to use your brain less is just a bonus.

But there is a darker side to Calogrenant that he tries to suppress. Seeing his family and homeland razed to the ground by the Angles led to years of fighting on the battlefield to get revenge. If it weren't for both the wise teachings of Ywain and his love for Morvydd which made him strive to be a better man, Calogrenant would have completely fallen to darkness. Though those days are long since past, they nevertheless left a stain on Calogrenant's heart and he has to be careful not to lose himself in the heat of battle, lest he turn into that rampaging demon once again that cannot tell friend from foe. As an aside, he does note the bitter irony of being summoned to the modern land of "England" (lit. "Land of the Angles").

In a Holy Grail War, Calogrenant would choose to fight more like a Saber Class Servant where possible. It's not that his Noble Phantasm is weak, but it is far more effective to keep his opponent guessing at what it can do and lure them into a false sense of security when they think they've got it figured out only to reveal at the last second that it has more hidden abilities. Outside of Noble Phantasm battles, Calogrenant uses his trusty sword and while he may have been the leader of a Calvary squad he's no slouch on foot, boasting as one of the swiftest knights to make up for his average strength with a flurry of sword slashes aimed with precision at the opponent's weak spots. When it comes to a Master, Calogrenant is fine acting as a subordinate so long as he isn't ordered to do anything that would go against his morals. If he found his Master to have truly crossed the line then Calogrenant would do everything he could to stop them, even if it meant giving up his chance for a wish.

His Wish upon the Grail? He would have gone back in time and accepted the offer of the 7th Seat of the Round Table, thinking it would have meant he would have challenged Agravain's authority in trying to vainly capture Lancelot instead of blindly following orders. If nothing else, it might have spared Gareth from having to guard the execution and ultimately getting killed.

    Skills

    Class Skills

    Magic Resistance - (C)
The protection granted against magical effects. Differing from the Resistance effect that merely rejects Magical Energy, this ability cancels the spells altogether. As a Knight during the age of sorcery and dragons, Calogrenant has a decent immunity to magical effect but as shown in his encounter with Sir Lionel during the Grail Quest, he has his limits when faced with powerful enchantments. As such he naturally cancels spells with a chant below two verses but he cannot defend against magecraft on the level of High-Thaumaturgy and Greater Rituals.

    Riding - (A)
A Class Skill of Rider and Saber Class Servants, denoting the ability to ride animals and vehicles as one's "mount". As an avid horserider and a member of the Light Calvary Squad under Sir Ywain, Calogrenant had practically lived in the stables and has a plethora of riding experience in a multitude of different situations and now as a Servant all machines and all creatures but those of Phantasmal Beast and Divine Beast-rank can be used as a temporary mount - even vehicles that did not exist in the time period Calogrenant was alive in, for they are no exception.

    Personal Skills

Advice of the Strategtist - (B)
A talent afforded to military-affiliated Servants. Calogrenant spent a decade of his life as one of Artoria's "Three Counsellor Knights" and whenever she listened to their advice for military campaigns and political matters she would find great success. By grasping and analysing the situation, Calogrenant is able to formulate a strategy for his allies that has a high rate of success even when taking into account factors and variables that he had no prior knowledge of. In order to counter this ability, an enemy would need an information concealing Skill or else to pass a high Luck Check to remain undetected from Calogrenant's analytical scan.

    Berserk - (C)
A corrupted Skill that was once "Bravery" until Calogrenant's lust for revenge against the Angles that slaughtered his kingdom left him a broken man. If it were not for the intervention of Sir Ywain then Calogrenant would have fallen to the path of the Avenger. An ugly side of himself that he tries to surpress, nevertheless every time Calogrenant takes battle damage the rage inside builds until it cannot be contained anymore and the Skill activates. Calogrenant's fighting style becomes much more aggressive as his pain receptors are turned off and so long as his limbs are still functioning then he'll keep swinging at full strength no matter how much damage he takes.

Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy - (A)
A strange Skill born out of a stranger mindset. Calogrenant was infamous as one of the "Three Ardent Lovers" of Britain due to his intense love for Lady Morvydd that was sung about by mediaeval bards and said to only be rivalled by King Uther's love for Queen Igraine. Now as a Servant, his "obsession" as Sir Kay uncharitably calls it grants him an almost complete immunity to Charm Debuffs whether they be magecraft, curses or general techniques. However the true power of this Skill arises whenever Calogrenant is in dire peril - he always had sharp instincts which combined with his high intellect allowed him to survive many a brush with death such as the disastrous Battle of Catraeth. But now when Calogrenant needs help the most, he closes his eyes to find himself teleported back to his quarters at Camelot, with Morvydd by his side once again as she chastises him for being so dense before telling him the correct answer to survive the current situation. Of course none of that is actually real and it is nothing more than Calogrenant's brain overclocking to find a solution - all within a fraction of a second of things happening around him.

    Noble Phantasm

    Cebystr Clydno Eiddin
    Gilded Halter of the Elementals

[Type: Anti-Unit], [Rank: A], [Maximum Range: 0 Metres], [Maximum Number of Targets: 1]

The secret heirloom passed down in Calogrenant's family and one of the 13 Treasures of Britain, it is a special Halter made of an unknown material and gifted to the rulers of Eidyn from the Elementals. Cebystr has dominion over all beasts and so has a variety of effects depending on how it is used.

Being a halter, Cebystr in its neutral state can be best described as an "Anti-Mount" weapon whereby if Calogrenant comes across an animal or vehicle he can tie it up with Cebystr in order to take control of it and make it his own mount. This can even include any creatures summoned by enemy Servants so long as Calogrenant has enough mana to keep them forcibly deployed and they aren't powerful enough to break free from Cebystr. In addition, if Calogrenant equipped Cebystr to an ordinary animal or vehicle then the halter will impart its magic to enhance the mount so that they can deal conceptual damage to Servants, however small that may be.

But the true power of Cebystr reveals the real reason why Calogrenant is summoned as a Rider-Class Servant without his own Mount. In legend it was said that whatever horse the wielder wished upon would soon find it in the halter. Now as a Servant, by pouring his mana into Cebystr, Calogrenant is able to summon forth any beast that the Knights of Camelot once rode. Whether it's Artoria's battle-hardened steed Dun Stallion, Mark's lightning quick Morvarc'h that can run on water, or even Ywain's mighty Lion of Light are just a few possibilities among many. Naturally as he only has one halter, Calogrenant can only summon one mount at a time and the more powerful the beast, the more of a drain on his mana to keep them deployed. In addition, all previously mentioned abilities of Cebystr are locked while he has a mount summoned, but in exchange he'll have access to whatever powers the summoned Mount has.

Nevertheless, it is a useful Noble Phantasm to have in a variety of situations with an unpredictability factor that keeps the enemy on their toes and perfectly matches the fighting style of Calogrenant, an ace cavalryman who specialises in planning out a strategy to hit the enemy fast and hard before withdrawing before they know what happened. He also likes to play with the opponent's mind in regards to what his Noble Phantasm is truly capable of, pretending to not have a mount at first and if he's forced to use one then sticking to the weakest one he can in order to lull the opponent into a false sense of security before busting out the big guns.

Lore (Not for the faint of heart)
Once upon a time during the age of magic and fairies, there existed a small Kingdom within Britain known as Eidyn. It's ruler was the brave and bold Clydno Eidyn who served as a vassal to his sworn brother-in-arms and overlord - Uther Pendragon. The days were peaceful under Uther's watch and so Clydno's one and only son Cynon grew up to be a spoiled brat.

But everything changed once Uther died and the savages from the continent arrived to take over. The Angles in particular had set up their domain of Bernicia on the border of Eidyn and were aggressively encroaching on the Clydno's kingdom. In response, Cynon rallied the soldiers and together with neighbouring allies foolishly attempted to engage the Angles in warfare at Catraeth. As expected, the Brits were crushed in battle with Cynon being the sole survivor, having to crawl his way back home through the corpses of his countrymen only to find his home on fire as the Angles ransacked it. Engulfed in despair, Cynon sank to his knees and closed his eyes as the Angles approached to finish him off...But to his surprise he heard the Angles screaming in pain and as he opened his eyes he saw them being shot down by a rain of arrows. Looking to the horizon, Cynon saw an army of knights had arrived and were effortlessly pushing back the Angles - the leader of the knights swooped down and rescued Cynon personally before introducing herself as "Arthur", child of Uther and the rightful King of Britain after pulling the Sword from the Stone. After the Angles were ousted from Eidyn, Artoria asked Cynon if he would join her as she was setting up the Round Table and was looking for strong warriors. Cynon looked at the flaming ruins of his former castle and said that "Cynon" had died that day, but the avenging knight "Calogrenant" would be more than happy to fight the savages.

Throwing away his pride and status, Calogrenant started off fresh as a mere squire under Sir Ywain. Wearing his deceased father's armour which was burned black, Calogrenant threw himself into every battle against both the Angles and the Saxons, fighting violently like a man possessed by a demon. Troubled by this, Sir Ywain asked Calogrenant to step away from the front lines and go with Artoria and act as a counsellor to help the king in the expedition to retake the Old North since he hails from there. Begrudgingly Calogrenant accepted but he spitefully tried to take the long way round to get to her which consequentially led him to encountering the Castle of Maidens.

The Master of the Castle greets Calogrenant, inviting him to spend the night and whilst dining together the Master spoke of a mysterious knight who appears when you whet the stone of a magical fountain. Intrigued, Calogrenant took a detour through the enchanted forest via the directions provided by an ogre acting as the Keeper until eventually he found the target. After whetting the stone as instructed, a terrible storm appeared out of nowhere and pelted Calogrenant and his horse with hail that threated to tear their skin of but Calogrenant managed to use his shield as cover and braced against the assault for what felt like an eternity until the sky eventually cleared. Shortly after a Black Knight appeared and asked who was responsible for calling the storm that killed all the local wildlife. Without waiting to answer, Calogrenant rushed at him with his spear - thinking that this knight must be a nobody if he wasn't a member of the Round Table but to Calogrenant's folly he was immediately unhorsed in a single strike. The Black Knight introduced himself as Esclados and said no more as he simply took Calogrenant's horse and left him on the ground in defeat. As he lay there, Calogrenant felt a wave of shame come over him as his pride had once again caused him to lose something precious to him, as his horse was wearing his father's halter - a family heirloom that had been the last gift to him before the kingdom fell, and now it belonged in the hands of Esclados.

Dispirited, Calogrenant quietly regrouped with Arthur without saying anything and filled out his role as one of her three "Counsellor Knights", alongside Aron and Llywarch. Together the trio successfully advised Arthur on matters both militarily and politically as she swiftly took back the Old North from the Germanic invaders. Once order had been restored, Arthur offered Calogrenant the chance to be her vassal and rebuild Eidyn as the new king just as his father had been under her father. After much reflection Calogrenant turned down the proposal as he felt he was not fit to be a king and instead wanted to wander the country as an errant knight until he found a new purpose. Arthur assented and so off Calogrenant went to journey high and low, getting into various scrapes and whatnot while he searched endlessly for his reason to live. While taking a rest at one of Arthur's spare courts in Caerleon, he was greeted by both Sir Kay and Sir Ywain and they decided to dine together. After a meal and a few drinks the trio shared stories about their adventures and the inebriated Calogrenant talked about his strange and disastrous journey to the Castle of Maidens and his battle with the Black Knight Esclados.

Some time later Calogrenant awoke to a commotion outside and upon stepping outside found Kay arguing with a distressed woman. Upon seeing Calogrenant, Kay motioned him to come over and as he did the woman turned around and the sight of her beauty took Calogrenant's breath away. After a few moments of silence, Kay coughed and explained that this was Ywain's twin sister Morvydd and she is distressed because Ywain had decided to go challenge the Black Knight Esclados after hearing the story and hasn't been seen since. Calogrenant only barely registered Kay's words as he was completely overwhelmed by the feeling of love at first sight and swore to Morvydd that he would move heaven and earth to get her brother back. Dragging Kay and Gawain along with him, the trio set off retracing Calogrenant's steps back to the Castle of Maidens, past the Ogre and into the enchanted forest where they found the fountain once again. Kay volunteered to go first and he washed the stone with the water and summoned the storm on cue. Once they had survived that, the Black Knight appeared as expected and duelled Kay before defeating him and even when Calogrenant double teamed the Knight with Kay they still lost. It was only when Gawain stepped up did the Knight meet his match and after a long duel his helmet fell off revealing none other than...Ywain. The fighting stopped and Ywain explained that he fought and killed Esclados but was duty bond to take his place afterwards as the guardian of the fountain. Freed from his duty, Ywain laughed as he heard Kay mock how smitten Calogrenant was with Morvydd on their journey back to Camelot and said he's okay with them dating, provided Calogrenant doesn't get rejected by Morvydd like every other suitor normally does. When they returned to Camelot, Ywain discreetly tossed Calogrenant the halter that he had lost before explaining that part of the reason he fought Esclados was to get it back as he too understood the pain of losing one's father. Calogrenant was overcome with emotion and thanked him from the bottom of his heart.

The years went by and Calogrenant gained various nicknames for his love of Morvydd, both respectful and mocking as he had asked her hand in marriage over a hundred times but was rejected each time. Thinking that a great heroic deed is what he was lacking, Calogrenant set out as well as soon as he had heard about the race for the Holy Grail. As Ywain had already retired from the Round Table, Calogrenant decided to team up with Sir Bors and together they journey forth. But their time together proved short as Bors was plagued by terrible dreams of him having to fight a demon wearing his brother's armour. These dreams haunted Bors and so they decided to stop at a nearby hermitage to pray but to their surprise they found Bors' brother Sir Lionel sat by the entrance. However the happy reunion was short lived as they saw the look of wrath on Lionel's face as he stood up and drew his sword. He explained that he came looking for revenge after Bors left him to die at the hands of enemy knights. Suddenly the old hermit in charge of the site came and tried to get between the two brothers, exclaiming that this was a holy place but Lionel was so overcome with rage that he immediately swung his sword and cut down the hermit who fell lifeless into Bors' arms. Calogrenant saw that Bors was in no state of mind to fight so he drew his own sword and locked blades with Lionel. As the pair were struggling, Bors carried the hermit's body to the entrance of the hermitage and carefully placed it down before saying prayers for the old man. Try as he might, Calogrenant could not hold back the vengeful fury of Lionel's repeated strikes and his sword shattered under the pressure. Seeing Bors was still in prayer, Calogrenant did the only thing he knew and simply put up his arms to act as a shield to his comrade behind him whilst saying his own prayers to ask for forgiveness for his blood about to be spilled on holy land, then Lionel swung his sword and decapitated Calogrenant. Seeing his brother kill both a holy man and now his friend filled Bors with righteous fury and he drew his sword but suddenly a tower of fire erupted between them and a divine voice called out to Bors to leave Lionel to his fate and instead head to Sir Percival, which he begrudgingly acquiesced. Meanwhile, Calogrenant woke up from his nap and was surprised to find his head still attached to his neck. Hearing a chuckle behind him, he turned around to find the corpse of the old hermit had been replaced with a youthful man sat upon the hermitage steps staring down at him. The man introduced himself as Gurnemanz the Grail Knight and explained that this had been a trial for the pair of knights who were seeking the Holy Grail. Gurnemanz said that the darkness in Calogrenant's heart was still holding him back and so he failed the trial, but his final action to selflessly defend Bors with his own body meant that Gurnemanz decided to step in and use an enchantment to make it look like he had died whilst putting the real Calogrenant to sleep to further test Bors' heart. Thanking the Grail Knight for his assistance, Calogrenant made his way back to Camelot to see Morvydd again after his close encounter with death.

The final chapter in Calogrenant's life came during the twilight years of the Round Table. Sir Agravain had procured evidence that the Queen had been having an affair with Sir Lancelot and had summoned the twelve knights stationed in Camelot including Calogrenant and Sir Mordred. Together they advanced to the Queen's chambers to arrest the pair but found the door locked and bolted. Agravain ordered Calogrenant and two others to ram the door and break it down but just as he had turned his back, the door suddenly flung open and a figure mvoing as fast as lighting snatched Calgorenant and dragged him into the chamber before kicking the door shut once again. Calogrenant kicked off his assailent and rolled away and as he stood up he quickly analyzed the situation. Facing him was Lancelot, both unarmed and unarmoured with the Queen and some of her handmaidens in the back of the room. Even the mighty Lancelot could not take on twelve of his comrades unarmed and so he must be trying to force it into a series of twelve one-on-one fights, Calogrenant thought to himself. As they lunged at each other the battle was over in an instant - by all means Calogrenant should have won, he had longer reach with his sword and his armour would prevent any counter blow from being fatal. But as he was swinging his sword, Calogrenant's eyes drifted to Guinevere and he wondered what he would have done if he was in Lancelot's place and if he was doing the right thing by trying to kill someone who was his sworn comrade just an hour ago. The weight of his concious slowed down his swing by a fraction of a second, just enough so that Lancelot could close the gap and slam his fist into Calogrenant's helmet and launch him into the wall. The shattered helmet fell to the ground and as he looked up, Calogrenant saw Lancelot standing over him, the sword now in his hands. The final thought that ran through Calogrenant's mind was that he would never get to apologise for the argument he had with Morvydd the last time they saw each other...

(As an aside, the darkened armour Lancelot wears in his Berserker form is the very same armour that he took from Calogrenant after killing him.)

    Relationships
Agravain - "I'm sorry. My failure to defeat Lancelot when I could have led to your death."

Artoria/Arthur - "My King...you aren't angry about me borrowing Dun Stallion, are you?"

Gareth - "I wonder, if I had accepted the position of 7th Seat instead of letting it go to you, would I have taken responsibility and challenged Agravain's order to arrest Lancelot and the Queen, in the hopes of preventing disaster?"

Gawain - "Looks to me like you got even stronger than since we last met. How about a little sparing match for old times sake?"

Lancelot - "Do you think it's not okay to smile? Even if you're tormented by your mistakes and solitude, do not give up! You must overcome your past, your present and keep moving forward so you can smile with everyone once more. Live, Lancelot!"

Mata Hari/Salome - "*(Deep Breath)*... BEGONE THOT!!!"

Mordred - "No. Even if I did know what you were scheming, Lancelot and the Queen commited a crime and had to be arrested either way. Had I not died, I would have beat the shit out of you as well afterwards."

Tristan - "Ah, if it isn't my fellow 'Ardent Lover'. Things didn't turn out so well for you either eh? I wonder what happened to the other guy..."

Ywain - "Dearest Brother-in-law...No, you are more than that. After everything you've done for me in the past I don't know how to repay you. But I will, this I swear."

    Creator's Notes
Not much to say about this Sheet since it was only created to make a point. I guess I ramped up the whole "Black Knight" thing to make somewhat of a parallel with Lancelot who ended up killing Calogrenant at the end. Anyone who can guess the reference in the third personal skill gets a non-existant cookie.

The FaceClaim is Clive Rosfield, the protagonist of Final Fantasy XVI. That said, the personality stems more from Yugo from Yugioh.

Updated Hassan of Intoxicating Smoke. Not much of an improvement, but an improvement all the same if anyone's interested.

    Class
    : Archer

    True Name: Isaac

    Alignment: Lawful Neutral

    Parameters:

    Strength: C
    Endurance: C
    Agility: C
    Magic: C
    Luck: A+
    Noble Phantasm: A

    Skills
    Class Skills

    Independent Action: A
The ability to remain independent even when rejecting the Magical Energy supply from one's Master. At this rank, it is possible to stay in the world for about a week without a Master. Archer claims that, rather than being independent, he is in fact always bound. By making the appropriate offerings, he can ask his eternal Master for a modest allowance of magical energy. However, it does nothing to fill his stomach.

    Magic Resistance: A
Cancel spells of A-Rank or below, no matter what High-Thaumaturgy it is. In practice, the Servant is untouchable to modern magi. Trusting in his birthright, he cannot be sullied by the workings of heretical magi. Conversely, Church sacraments may still be effective, depending on the branch from which they stem.

    Personal Skills

    Jacob's Limbs: C
An ancient Abrahamic fighting style passed from blood to blood and master to student. Said to have been wielded by a saint who once defeated an angel of destruction and its army. While it is clear that Archer has not extensively practiced and is merely imitating what he witnessed, the purity of his form is on par with the originator and easily makes up for his inexperience. Should the war drag on, this Skill's rank may increase with each consecutive battle.

    God's Guidance: A++
A blessing upon the back of one whose actions align with God. A superior amalgam of Protection of God and Revelation, this skill is reserved only for one whose life is held in His hands directly. At this rank, the holder is engaged in a VIP contract from above that provides direct favours. Archer's well-being is completely ensured so long as he does not stray from the path laid out for him. With the 'correct course of action', the 'correct result' will always occur. The only way to circumvent this blessing is to influence Archer to make the 'wrong choice'.

Mystic Eyes of the Divine: B
A Skill where one has possession of Mystic Eyes, capable of imparting magical effects upon a subject and interfering with the outside world. Archer possesses Mystic Eyes that have never been classified, as they were thought to only appear in possession of Angels, whose forms cannot be comprehended by mortals. Archer can unleash a blinding stare, radiating a waveform which does not exist in the universe. This wave imparts mid-level annihilation upon the bodies and spirits of those who meet his gaze. However, as this damages his own sight and does not distinguish between friend and foe, indiscriminately unleashing his eyes is a double-edged sword. Instead, he prefers to shed angelic tears and have them crystallize into deadly projectiles, which are then flung by hand or from a sling.

    Noble Phantasm
    The Binding: Elohim's Interposing Hand
    Type: Anti-Unit (Self)
    Rank: A

Archer's fate is that of a particle in flux. He is simultaneously 'one who was offered' and 'one who was saved', making him a paradoxical existence that cannot be easily interfered with.

Elohim's Interposing Hand is Fate Interference at its greatest, an eternal protection bestowed upon Archer that continuously enacts a rejection of sacrifice upon him. All unwelcome fates that he accepts will be averted by God, pushed away elsewhere, and as a result he will never fall or be bested. It automatically manifests as a wall of light that redirects harm and misfortune away from Archer and back at that which caused it, regardless of rank or strength, so long as it is something Archer was aware of, even indirectly. Functionally, he cannot be killed or harmed through a head-on attack.

However, there are limitations to this Noble Phantasm. Archer is vulnerable to unexpected surprise attacks or trickery (expected trickery less-so), since he has not acknowledged them as 'fates he must accept'. Furthermore, a minuscule amount of magical energy is consumed each time his life is saved, so a determined opponent that launches numerous killing blows may wear him down with time. Fundamentally, Elohim's Interposing Hand only functions to halt whatever demise Archer walks into of his own will, so if he is ever forced to flee or overcome by fear, that protection will be rescinded.

Those who loved and devote their lives, are in turn loved. Such is Archer's faith, that he holds no doubt in his heart when his name is called. He will walk into death without hesitation, for the Lord is at his side.

The Fear of God: Misfortune's Mark
    Type: Anti-Unit (Support)
    Rank: C

A humble yet sharp bone knife that is best used as a backup weapon. Rather than being a tool of warfare, it is more of a ritual implement. It carves into the flesh of those it strikes a 'Brand of Sacrifice' that marks them as offerings to the Lord. Henceforth, all attacks against them by the faithful will be strengthened, and they will become vulnerable to holy rites. Furthermore, all misfortune redirected by Elohim's Interposing Hand will instead be suffered by those marked as sacrifices, including killing or maiming blows.

While the effects may seem curse-like, in actuality this Noble Phantasm is closer to a blessing, albeit a twisted one. Said blessing will not end, therefore, until Archer is slain, though its second effect will become inactive if he cannot himself see the brand of sacrifice. As a blessing, it is also capable of ignoring Elohim's Interposing Hand should it ever be turned against Archer, making it a double-edged sword.

When the knife was held against his neck, all Archer could think of was the weeping expression of its wielder.

    Description
Archer is a humble old man, who at first does not appear to be very heroic at all. He is a grandfatherly individual without wisdom and a warrior without strength. A paradoxical existence, he strikes an impression as someone who is neither competent nor dangerous, and will laugh even at unfunny jokes.

Archer is accepting of all that is put before him, whether it be something to celebrate or mourn. He thus treats a victory and a defeat the same way, seeing both as merely another step on life's journey. He does not get angry at enemies, and will not congratulate allies, though as a person he prefers peace and quiet and will aim to calm things down where possible. A simultaneously pitiful yet brave person who, after a certain point in life, was neither alive nor dead, he has elderly acceptance and childlike naivety in equal measure. This makes him rather easy to trick, not that he'd mind terrible. The easiest way to Archer's good graces is a nice pot of stew.

He does not consider himself a hero. In his own words: "A hero endures tragedy. But you see, I have never lost anything, so I could not gain anything either."

His wish, if any, would be to "know how my father felt, before the blow was struck".

Ah, and he's a bit of a crybaby, even at this age.

    Lore
Isaac was one of the three patriarchs of the Israelites and an important figure in the Abrahamic religions, including Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. He was the son of Abraham and Sarah, the father of Jacob, and the grandfather of the twelve tribes of Israel. Isaac's name means "he will laugh", reflecting the laughter, in disbelief, of Abraham and Sarah, when told by God that they would have a child. He is the only patriarch whose name was not changed, and the only one who did not move out of Canaan. He died aged 180, the longest-lived of the three patriarchs.

The Binding of Isaac is a story from the Hebrew Bible. In the biblical narrative, God tells Abraham to sacrifice his son, Isaac, on Moriah. Abraham begins to comply, when a messenger from God interrupts him. Abraham then sees a ram and sacrifices it instead.

Isaac was a simple man, who believed in all that God commanded of him. And so, when he was to be sacrificed, he accepted it without question. At that time, an angel descended from above, meeting Isaac's gaze. It shed tears over the boy's plight, and though he did not understand them, he was so moved by them that his eyes would forever reflect the sight of a weeping angel. The sacrifice was averted, he gained God's Protection, and he was thus blessed with a simple, long life, free of conflict. By accepting without question, his heart was never again disturbed. Even when he saw his own sons, Jacob and Esau, turn against each other, even when they took to deceiving him and battling over their birthright, he did nothing. For by accepting misfortune and evil and doom, he had given up the power and will to fight it. And he was fine with that.

For what reason, then, does he stand here now, on his own two feet?

Isaac: A stand-out sheet as usual for you Bloble. For a humble disciple of God those NPs and his dissonantly serene personality are actually pretty scary, which fits Isaac's rather messed-up legend IMO. I like the touch that his invincibility NP only works as long as he's fully willing to die when using it, expecting his own death while at the same time putting trust in God to save him. Truly a contradictory mentality only a man of total faith could possess.

Isaac: Absolutely outstanding work there, my man. (Also I'M SORRY I'M SO SORRY I CHUCKLED AT HIS NP. The binding of Isaac indeed.) I wish I could have a thousand ways of gushing about this character and the way you portraied it in here (the way he's almost in a madness enhancement-like religious experience? I LOVE IT), but unfortunately my vocabulary is not that big. But I hope you know it's AMAZING. It really is.

Calogrenant: I like everything about this sheet. How can you dislike a person that has a skill called lover boy? I MEAN, HOW CAN YOU??

Dislikes: Outside Threats, Desert (King Sebastians trauma)
Talent: Being the Hope of the people
Natural Enemy: What is not Portugal, Altera
    Attribute: Star
Traits: Brynhildr's Beloved, King, Humanoid, Male
    Armament: Sword of Afonso, Armor

    Skills
    Class Skills:

Charisma B~A++: A composite Skill consisting of a person's charm as well as the natural talent to command or unify an army or country. Increases the ability of allies during group battles. A rare talent, and an ability inherent to Servants of the Saver class. Starting from rank B, which is sufficient to lead a nation as its King, the rank will ascend into A++ after achieving the Fifth Empire. Having united the world, Saver has achieved a level of charisma almost no one in history has obtained. At this point his word becomes the natural law. An army led by him will fight with everything they have.

Counter Hero B-: Reduces the parameters of the statistics of "heroes" that the Servant faces in combat. It is featured as a Class Skill of the Saver Class. Saver believes himself to be the only hero left in the world and that he alone should bear the duty of protecting it, which reflects on this skill. At Rank B-, it reduces all of the opponent’s parameters by two ranks but doesn't work on anti-heroes.

    Personal Skills:

Divinity C (A): The measure of whether one has Divine Spirit aptitude or not. At high levels, one is treated as a mixed race of a Divine Spirit - a demi-god. Those who have A Rank Divinity or above have reached the Throne of Gods, although they are still just short of being a true god due to lacking a Divine Core. Although Saver is not related to a Divine Spirit by blood, as the messiah not only worshiped and desired by Portugal but the future King destined to bring forth the Fifth Empire who will be worshiped by the entire world when the time comes, Saver has a high ranking Divine Spirit aptitude. Normally, its rank is C, but when he brings forth the Fifth Empire, its rank will increase to A.

Hidden One EX: A skill that represents King Sebastian's myth of returning on a foggy morning to save the Nation that the Pan Human History King Sebastian could not achieve. Saver summons once again the same fog that appeared on King Sebastian's fateful return, turning himself into the same fog and becoming one with it, making it almost impossible to damage him by normal means. In this state, Saver achieves a rank of agility akin to teleport, being able to manifest anywhere within the mist, and cannot be damaged from physical attacks, with only conceptual attacks and attacks that target his existence being able to hit him. As the combination of the once dead King who defied death to save his Nation and the living King who battled with everything in his power to preserve his Nations existence, he is no longer certain whether he is dead or alive, but it matters not, for even if fatally wounded, he will rise once more for the Future of his Nation. At a base level, Hidden One combines the effect of Battle Continuation and an advanced form of Evasion through mist.

Beyond the Restoration Comes the Expansion A+: A skill that represents going beyond simply restoring what was once Portugal that the Pan Human History King John IV could not achieve. Saver, with the Hidden Ones power, went beyond just restoring previous Portuguese territory, being capable of not only surviving so that he may participate in the ultimate human despot to rule the world, but continuing the expansion of the nation to prove Portugal worthy of being the one to lead the world. A military prowess capable of defeating those who tried to stop the restoration of Portugal.

    Noble Phantasms
    Noble Phantasms:

    Sword of Afonso
    Rock That Shatters The Statue

    Type: Anti-Unit / Anti-Territory Noble Phantasm
    Rank: B
    Range: 1~3 / 1~50
    Max Targets: 1 person

The Founding Father created the country after a prophecy in which the Messiah and the Guardian Angel of Portugal assured God was on his side. With his trusted sword and shield, a country was formed. Centuries later, a naive King brought along those relics into his final battle, but had them forgotten, thus the Kingdom was lost. When he returned to save the country alongside his other half, he brandished the Sword of the Founding Father as the time was right for the selection of the next King of this world.
Originally a Sword and Shield that belonged to King Afonso I, the Sword, said to be needed 10 men to carry it, when drawn out, increases STR by one rank and the Shield, when carried, grants a boost to Magical Resistance and can be used at his fullest to protect the wielder one time at the cost of being destroyed. Used by King Afonso I, it also applies the trait "Reconquista", in which the Sword claims territory while the Shield protects territory, boosting the power of Portuguese within said territory.
Saver can only use the Sword, since the shield has been lost, but he can also replicate the concept of "Reconquista" as the one who follows his ancestors prophetic vision.
Incidentally, Saber King Sebastian, which wouldn't be the myth but the historical fact, can also use the Sword and Shield, but due to not being the true owner nor having really used them, forgetting them on his way to his final battle, has some limitations, such as the Sword increasing STR by one rank at the cost of decreasing AGI by one rank, the Shield can only be used as one time only to protect fully against up to C ranked Noble Phantasms, lacks the "Reconquista" trait and these artifacts disappear the moment Saber unleashes his Noble Phantasm.
The Noble Phantasm title changes depending on who uses it. If Saber uses it, its called "Legacy Of The Founding Father", while King Afonsos version is called "Victory Over The Five Kings and Seven Castles".

    Quinto Império
The Global Country Ruled By The Dual Messiah

Type: Anti-World / Conceptual Noble Phantasm
    Rank: EX
    Range: -
    Max Targets: -

The final step of Portugal. Surpassing all four previous Empires, Saver drops down the
    Sword
    Rock
that breaks all of them and becomes the foundation of the Fifth Empire. A conceptual Noble Phantasm that targets the whole world, turning it into Portugal. The Fifth Empire is not a mere territorial empire. It is a spiritual and linguistic body which spreads throughout the entire world. It represents the ultimate form of fusion between material (science, reason, intellectual speculation) and spiritual knowledge: the occult, mystical speculation and Kabbalism. It is the pinnacle of all the work undertaken by the previous empires.
The Fifth Empire, led by "the hidden one", unites the entire world spiritually and culturally, led by the Portuguese Nation. With the world becoming Portugal and Saver being the only hero left in the world, he receives an tremendous increase of fame level, bringing it to the highest class.
    As Savers
    Sword
    Rock
becomes the foundation of the World, the World becomes Savers
    Rock
    Sword
. To oppose Saver is the same as opposing the World. Saver is capable of summoning from the World Servants that represent the four past Empires to aid him and serve as his Sword, being merely recreations of the World of Saver.
There are several limitations for this Noble Phantasm to be activated, such as only being able to be activated once a millennia, at the year symbolically associated with the ultimate human despot to rule the world. It also requires Sword of Afonso to be forfeited, and a territory bigger than the zenith of the Portuguese Empire in Pan Human History.

    Lore
A possible scenario of the messiah who brings forth the Fifth Empire. Based on the two possible Messiahs of Portugal, King Sebastian I, the Hidden One and King John IV, the Restorer.
This is a version of King Sebastian I who, unlike Pan Human History, returned on a foggy morning and gave his powers to King John IV, The Restorer, the alive messiah, thus going beyond what the original King John IV would have been able to do, allowing to survive till the year of the ultimate human despot to rule the world, in which it is possible to achieve the Fifth Empire.

King Sebastian I of Portugal: Sebastian, Portuguese Sebastião, (born Jan. 20, 1554, Lisbon, Port.—died Aug. 4, 1578, near Alcazarquivir, Mor.), king of Portugal from 1557 at young age due to lack of other heirs. An important figure in Portuguese history as the last heir to the throne, he wanted to bring glory to Portugal, like his ancestors did with the Reconquista (driving away the muslims from the Iberian Peninsula) and the Crusades. He took power in 1568 and devoted himself to his overriding ambition, reversing the policy of John III, which had been to withdraw from costly conquests. The Christian king, Sebastian I, had planned a crusade after Abu Abdallah asked him to help recover his throne. So he went with a troop to northern Morroco to fight in the Battle of Alcácer Quibir, which was a foolish idea because not only did they lost, King Sebastian died, without an heir to the throne. Unfortunately, the death of their only heir lead to Portugal having a forced union with Spain, lasting 60 years of Iberian Union. Sebastian I is often referred to as The Desired (Portuguese: o Desejado) or The Asleep (Portuguese: o Adormecido), as the Portuguese people longed for his return to end the decline of Portugal that began after his death. He is considered to be the Portuguese example of the King asleep in mountain legend as Portuguese tradition states his return, in a foggy dawn, on Portugal's greatest hour of need. Alas, their desired King never returned.

King John IV of Portugal: John IV (Portuguese: João) 19 March 1604 – 6 November 1656), nicknamed John the Restorer (Portuguese: João o Restaurador), was the King of Portugal whose reign, lasting from 1640 until his death, began the Portuguese restoration of independence from Habsburg Spanish rule. His accession established the House of Braganza on the Portuguese throne, and marked the end of the 60-year-old Iberian Union, by which Portugal and Spain shared the same monarch. 60 years ago, King Sebastian, last of heir to the throne, died without leaving an heir, creating the 1580 succession crisis, which lead to Portugal losing its independence and being forced into a union with Spain, called Iberian Union. In 1640, was at all time high due to the king of Spain raising Taxes on the Portuguese merchants, the Portuguese nobility beginning to lose its influence and government posts in Portugal being increasingly occupied by Spaniards. Ultimately, Philip III tried to make Portugal a Spanish province, meaning Portuguese nobles stood to lose all of their power.
A plot was planned by several associates, known as the Forty Conspirators, who killed the Secretary of State, Miguel de Vasconcelos, and imprisoned the king's cousin, Margaret of Savoy, the Vicereine of Portugal, governing the country in the King's name. Philip's troops were at the time fighting the Thirty Years' War and also dealing with a revolution in Catalonia which severely hampered Spain's ability to quash the rebellion.
Within a matter of hours and with popular support, John, then the 8th Duke of Braganza, was acclaimed as King John IV of Portugal claiming legitimate succession through his grandmother Catherine, Duchess of Braganza. Every Portuguese happily accepted him as the new king after the revolution. From Bragança to Algarve, Minho to Madeira, Lisbon to Macau, going to Brasil, Africa and India. The ensuing conflict with Spain brought Portugal into the Thirty Years' War as, at least, a peripheral player. From 1641 to 1668, the period during which the two nations were at war, Spain sought to isolate Portugal militarily and diplomatically, and Portugal tried to find the resources to maintain its independence through political alliances and maintenance of its colonial income.
His accession led to a protracted war with neighbouring Spain, a conflict known as the Portuguese Restoration War, which ended with the recognition of Portuguese independence in a subsequent reign (1668). Unfortunately, King John IV had died before he could see all of this happening.

A more detailed description of Saver's return and ascension can be found on the story of his Lostbelt

    Personality and Relationships
    Personality:

Savers personality is divided 70/30 John IV/ Sebastian. John IV is the main personality, with Sebastian influencing him. Pan Human History King Sebastian was a young and naive King, but was loved by the people as their only hope. He was a kind King, but his desire to answer to his peoples faith in him lead him to prove himself by following the ancestors he admired so much. This lead to his early death. The King Sebastian who returned, however, learned from his mistakes and wised up. Once again, he answered his peoples wishes and return to aid John IV. Pan Human History King John IV, while initially doubtful of his role as the new King, decided to accept the pleads of his people and fought with all he had to not only recover whats was Portugal's, but going beyond. He was a smart man, who was able to recover almost all the colonies Portugal had lost. While Sebastian was a kid shaped into the Hero that followed things like Hopes and Dreams, John IV was a realist dragged into becoming the Hero. Saver, as a 70/30 of those two Kings, shares the need to answer his peoples wishes from both, while also being the cautious man that King John IV was with a bit of Sebastian's desire to prove his ancestors he became a hero. After achieving the Fifth Empire, Saver becomes fully convinced there is no more heroes but him in the world and he alone should bear the full weight of the world. Centuries after achieving the Fifth Empire, however, brought down all hope Saver had. With the deterioration of the world, Saver loses all optimism and pride he once had. Saver finds himself distraught over the loss of other cultural artworks and the deterioration of its people. However, Saver must hold on to this fantasy, even if its crushes him, for it is what his people wished for. No matter how much it broke him, no matter how much the world crumbles, its his duty to hold on till the end, no matter what, otherwise all the sacrifices made till now would have been for naught.

    Relationships:

Hero Servants more recent than him: "A Hero? That can't be right, the only hero remaining in the world is me. Don't worry though, I will do my best to follow your expectations."

Gilgamesh: "Who? Oh, I see, he is the First Hero. Very well, I will show you that I am worthy of playing the role of Last Hero"

King Asleep in the Mountain Servants: "Is that me? Oh, another sleeping hero. Go back to your deserved rest, I shall save the world for you."

Nero and Aleister Crowley: "Take this warning of mine: Stay as you are! If you ignore said warning and defile yourselves unto an abomination, I will have to put you down"

Altera: "Stop. I will not allow you to destroy what everyone sough for."

    Creator Notes
God, making Caster made me so inspired that i decided to also do a Saver class servant mentioned on my Lostbelt. Here it goes. As always, feedback is appreciated. First of all, i tried to make a powerful villain for my Lostbelt without being too OP, but since the only Saver that exists is Buddha, its hard to know what or what isn't normal for the Saver class, so if there is something you might feel that is too OP even for Saver Class, feel free to give me you opinion.
Regarding the name of the first Noble Phantasm, which i think most people wont know, is based on the prophetic vision in which the first King had vision of Jesus saying "I did not appear to you in this way to add your faith, but to strengthen your heart in this conflict & found the principles of your Kingdom on solid stone", which António Vieira saw a connection with the prophetic dream of Nabucodonosor II, told in Daniel 2, in which a statue with a golden head, arms and chest of gold, legs of iron and feet of bronze would be broken by a rock. This dream was the foundation for the thought of the past 4 empires being succeeded by a Fifth Empire.
Maybe add the skill Blessings of the Council of Gods A+ (D): The Olympian Gods once had a discussion whether or not to allow the Portuguese to reach India. Two parties are formed: the party of Venus, favorable to the Portuguese, and the party of Bacchus, defending the interests of this god who wanted to stop the Portuguese from reaching their goal. The council ends by accepting the point of view earlier expressed by Jupiter, in which they should be allowed to as it is predestined for the Portuguese to accomplished great feats and to reach the same height as the gods. With the foundation of the Fifth Empire, the fear once expressed by Bacchus has been confirmed: that the Portuguese would become gods. Saver is granted blessing from the supporting Gods (Jupiter, Venus, Athena, Mars, ■■■■■■■■■■■■■). However, in his Lostbelt, the favor of the Gods has lost its power because of the deterioration of the world and all cultures that are not Portuguese, thus a severe drop in rank.
Also, need to change the 3rd personal skill.

If you think that's enough to kill me, you've never really understood who I am as a person.

Cynon: I'll say it. I should have included Cynon into the sheet. Then again, if I had, I wouldn't have made what will probably be my only angel, so trade one for another.
"Not for the faint of heart" isn't really how I'd describe the lore (God, it sounds like I'm being petty). What I mean is that it doesn't sound sadder than some we've gotten, like Frenzy's Tarrare. Still, It's effectively tragic, if not matching with Fate's version of Lancelot's killing of knights at the end, but that hardly matters. Also giving a Rider a NP that steals mounts rather than is one is a fun touch, especially considering that's basically what it did in the legend in a roundabout way.
In personality, we basically did the same thing, though you used Cynon's "Ardent lover" part to add a bit of romance in, and you made him a bit more relaxed as a person.

It's interesting where people are led when they merger Calogrenat/Cei as opposed to Calogrenat/Cynon. I wonder what it would've looked like if I had combined all 3...

King John/Sebastian: Ah, yes! The fog knight! The savior we deserve.
I kid, but I like it. I kinda just want to see him use that second NP just to see how the world shift with it. Though, I wish you'd actually describe the other requirements instead of just saying "they exist". The aforementioned fog is an interesting form of evasion. Gae Bolg could probably do something with that, considering it just brings up his Agility while saying he becomes "one with it". That, or just an AOE that clears away all the fog and hits everything in it. No sword beam, but it makes me think of how Lê Lợi's sword would be, though possibly with the added effect of letting him grow in size.

Also, you mentioned Crowley in your last sheet, so I thought you might like this version of him.

Honestly, I just put the other requirements because I was drawing a blank. The date and the sword are important, but i wasnt really thinking of more requirements but at the same time thought it should be something hard to pull. Im thinking of maybe adding as requirement a minimum territory, but other than that, i cant think of any more requirements. Regarding the fog, Savers body literally becomes fog, thats why his Endurance disapears. The reason his Agility raises to A++ is because he can travel through the fog. To damage him, I dont know how Gae Bolg works with spiritual targets but the AOE that clears away fog would at least force Saver to release the skill. Also, my image of the sword is that the first slash attacks the opponent, in a range of 1~10, while a zone of 1~50 corresponding to the slash becomes Portugal, boosting Savers power.

Regarding Aleister, I might make a new version later, but thanks for a showing me that, it might help me.

That was merely tongue in cheek at how long it is, not about contents. Most people only write a few paragraphs if anything at all. But I just can't stop myself from writing their entire life story.

I'm afraid I don't see the fascination with Kay. :/

Ah. A warning that can apply to most of mine, then.

It's more that Cei in Culhwch and Olwen has the height, body temperature, and insane stamina that Kay never had anywhere else. It's probably another part of the bits of comedy in the story, but the original idea was more taking the alternate names of Kay, merging them together, and making them an Alter-Ego, but that got changed somewhere along the way, something I've mentioned before.

In personality, we basically did the same thing, though you used Cynon's "Ardent lover" part to add a bit of romance in, and you made him a bit more relaxed as a person.

Thats Morg for you (from the Sasuga anime phrase)

Everyone summons Jack cuz' everyone can become Jack if they try hard enough

For a (somewhat) more serious answer, if we're talking about sheets I've written only, my personality can range anywhere between Fersen's edgy angst to Lucian's ironic heroism, so I'd just try to summon without a catalyst and hope for a pleasant surprise.

Considering Kay was handpicked by Arthur among six helpers - each with some superhuman talent - to assist Culhwch in his impossible task, I don't think it was "comedy" so much as that stereotypical movie scene where the heroes gather and have to explain their powers to one another. For what it's worth, the earlier poem Pa Gur also references Kay being superhuman so I think it's just an old aspect of his character that was lost upon the transition from legend to Medieval Romance in the same vein as Bedivere no longer being disabled.

Interestingly, the Knights of Marines CE in F/GO references Kay being a freak when it comes to swimming so when he inevitably shows up as a Servant he'll undoutably have all his powers.

For an answer, I consider a result for each Class.

    Saber: Agilulf
    Lancer:Edern, probably.
    Archer: William Tell
    Rider: Perseus
    Caster: Seth
Berserker: Probably whoever this guy is.
    Assassin: Nietzsche
Shielder: I actually think I have a good chance to draw Galahad.
    Avenger: Joaquin Murrieta
Ruler: I'm drawing a blank, which is fortunate since only the Grail should summon these in a war.
    Saver: Likely Jesus.
Watcher: Definitely don't have the potential to summon one.
    Foreigner: None that I've seen.
Faker: Dagonet or Edward Williams, meaning I'm stuck between someone who shatters all illusions and someone who drowns himself in one.

    WHOOPS.

I'm just gonna replace the entire comment with this post.

    My bad.

That's what happens when there's two same-name characters in such quick succession.

She's a cyborg because the Lu Bu of PHH is canonically a machine, confirmed in game, so she's been 'upgraded' with his body by Chen Gong to become a true successor. She's not human, she has her father's weapon she inherited that Chen Gong upgraded, and I have no idea what 'wolf' you're referring to.

Hm inteersting choice Morg as a answer for my own Qusetion i could have the potencial for summoning almost any of the servant i made as i have a certain hidden aspect as in almost any of them is a part of my own personality weaved in like in my Thales the fondnesss for Juices . Out of the Canon servants i think i have potencial of Artoria or her alter Version .

though i haven stil made it in my Requiem servant universe will i make some potencial servant routes .Like one if Ada or Neferuseth would be my servant .

out of curiousity which of my current servants would you like the most as your own servant Morg ?
