Berserker’s true name is Bicho-Papão. Also known as the Bogeyman. A monster from folklore that is used all around the world to scare children into behaving. At times described as a hairy humanoid, a shadowy shapeshifter, a bugbear or even as a hag, there are no end of tales depicting similar monsters in cultures all around the world. A valuable tool for adults and the terror of all children, Bicho-Papão has manifested in this specific form due to the age he has been summoned in. As something that only exists as a threat but that can never reveal itself, it has attained a form that’ll allow it to perform its role in the age of cynicism and technology.
It is a phantom, a very weak fictional existence that shouldn’t be able to be summoned as a Servant by itself. While the reasons for his current summoning are still a mystery, some have speculated that the fact that he’s been summoned under a Brazilian name despite the many possibilities and the nationality of his Master suggests that he is actually a Fusion-type Servant of specific similar creatures, rather than a representative of the greater myth shared globally.

This is the Class Skill that characterizes a Berserker, all their parameters are raised but his mentality is fundamentally different from that of a regular human.

In Bicho-Papão’s case, this is not actually a repression of his mental faculties in exchange for more power, but rather, a skill representing his inherent lack of intelligence. Berserker is guided solely by instincts, possessing less intelligence than a dog of their size. He is capable of speech, but can't manage anything more complex than mimicking others.

A Skill possessed by Heroic Spirits fitting the Assassin or Berserker classes. Attacks gain a plus modifier in his damage dealt against humans.

In Berserker’s case, this plus modifier applies to anything he perceives as a child, regardless of species. Since it is not known whether or not Bicho-Papão can actually be accused of infanticide, this skill seems to be more akin to a curse. It is believed that he has repeated such actions an unsurmountable number of times, so Bicho-Papão has received the highest rank in this skill.

A Skill belonging to those whose body has changed to keep up with their unchangeable base urges or warped mentality.

In Berserker’s case, it manifests as an Insatiable Gut capable of storing way more mass than should be possible, given his size. Children dream big, but as a being that specialized in hiding in small places and that hunted in absolute secrecy, Bicho-Papão must be capable of swallowing his prey whole as fast as possible. Berserker is capable of swallowing a truly astounding amount, regardless of size. It seems there is actually a limit, but his capacity to rapidly digest whatever is swallowed often allows him to open up space faster than it is filled.
That said, the true terror of this ability is the fact that it was developed to allow Berserker to eat dreams so that he can learn what others fear most. It makes entirely abstract constructs birthed by the human mind edible. Therefore, even conceptual matter such as “magical energy”, “Mystery” or “lifespan” can be swallowed.
Sadly, Bicho-Papão is not smart enough to grasp these concepts no matter how they are explained to him, so it is unlikely that he’ll ever display such impressive feats. The fact that he is still able to “understand” the nature of dreams enough to consume them is only due to his natural urges.


Shapeshift (Night-time) EX.

A Skill that refers to both borrowing bodies and appearance change.

Berserker does not possess a definite form, rather, his body is a blob of shadowy liquid-like substance held together by a thin and malleable membrane, akin to a stereotypical slime. He is capable of stretching and contracting his body to cover a wide area or pass through narrow spaces. Furthermore, during the night, he becomes capable of changing into forms entirely different from his own. If Berserker has gained insight into the fears of his target, he is able to take the form of that fear. His visage then also acquires the characteristics of a powerful mental attack against the target.
Bicho-Papãos’ options are not limited to beings, and forms such as “a dark forest”, “the darkness of the ocean abyss” or any other form necessary to replicate the greatest fear of his target are possible. Even if the target fears a concept, Berserker can become something that’ll elicit that fear. For example, faced with a woman tormented by existential dread, Bicho-Papão has displayed the ability to become “an overwhelming visage of outer-space” that triggered her terrors.
That said, this kind of extensive and abstract transformation is very taxing and will require a steady supply of Magical Energy from the Master. It also seems that, regardless of form, fears that are considered “childish” are very efficient to maintain.

A Composite Skill of Disengage and Afraid of Your Own Shadow that allows its user to set up surprise attacks and set a sense of paranoia on its target, as well guarantee that they’ll not be spotted by the target while they retreat.

Since Berserker is mostly known for scaring small children, he receives a low rank at this skill. At this rank, it is not possible to revert battles to their first turn nor guarantee the escape of the user. It is mostly a representation of the jittery nature of Bicho-Papão alongside his capacity to sometimes go unnoticed in shadows due to his color and malleability.

The Bogeyman Behind You. This is the thing that scares every child. The monster under the bed. The sinister invisible friend. The villain in the nursery rhyme.
This Noble Phantasm is the crystallization of the fear children feel towards him. It doesn’t matter whether or not there is anything in the dark, nor does it matter if their parents calm them down every night, their fear is real and recurrent. It is a permanent shadow that hangs over their peaceful dreams.
But that’s not all. More often than not, Bicho-Papão is actually a tool utilized by the parents to get their kid to behave. It is commonly believed that these evil beings won’t come after good kids and will only seek to feed on the children who misbehave.

The best way to describe O Mumuca Atrás de Você is as a continuous mental harassment effect against rule breakers that ends badly if they don’t apologize. If Berserker watches someone going against the orders of an authority figure, he is able to impose onto them a powerful paranoia that “there is a monster somewhere”. Under the bed, inside the closet, behind me etc. The affected target will continually fear this presence is following them and will often spot shadows roaming his peripheral vision right before they disappear.
This paranoia is very debilitating, but since Bicho-Papão doesn’t actually possess any illusory powers, a target with great mental fortitude can easily shake off the sensation.
Regardless of whether or not they manage to shake off the mental harassment, this Noble Phantasm’s effects continue to work. The paranoia is but a means to an end, something that helps prevent the target from realizing the real effect of O Mumuca Atrás de Você.
As long as the target does not apologize or repent in some other way to the authority figure they went against, Bicho-Papão has the ability to actually “appear behind them”. Essentially, he is capable of teleporting to any shadow around the target at a moment’s notice. Allowing him to deal a devastating surprise attack.
A Master must be careful to not allow Bicho-Papão to use this ability to teleport too far away from them though, because this is a one way street. Bicho-Papão cannot teleport back.

Infanticida’s true form is the Sixth Imaginary Factor, a Devil. A being summoned by human desires, born from their wishes and bound by their imagination. Infanticida wasn’t created by any one human in particular, but rather by the collective wishes and fears of children and parents across human history. It is a Devil that previously obtained the form of Bicho-Papão through the Unit Designation of Parental Correction and now has taken advantage of the Master it was possessing to finally incarnate.
Infanticida is a gentle existence that seeks to serve its true masters: Parents. It exists to assuage their apprehensions and lessen their burden, as it has always done. His presence alone guarantees the obedience of children, and if that is not enough, he will promptly remove that which “is bothering the parents” from this world.
Its class is Foreigner, for it is a being infinitely close to those fearsome Outer Gods, bound to this reality by its pitiful host.

As the Sixth Imaginary Factor, Infanticida is an existence fundamentally at odds with reality and the common sense of man. Much like Outer Gods are both fictional creatures born from a particular man’s dreams and real beings from outside our universe, Devils are creatures birthed by the wishes of man who cannot influence our reality if not through a host. However, since Infanticida is not a True Devil, he cannot receive a higher rank at this skill.

Insanity EX.

Anxiety and fear. Deviations from harmony and providence. Heterogeneous thinking that exerts an influence even on the worldviews within the mentality of the people in one’s surroundings.

At this rank, the effect is manifested as a powerful Reality Marble that corrodes common sense as we know it. As a Devil, Infanticida’s alien common sense constantly invades its surroundings in an attempt to realize the wishes its been invested with, in this case, Parental Correction.
All those around him are subject to the reality that “you mustn’t bother your parent else you’ll be punished”. Naturally, no blood relation is necessary for one to be considered a “parent”, as it is, it would be more accurate to say that you mustn’t disobey those who are responsible for you (such as a teacher, an older relative, a police officer restraining you, the mayor of your city, a captor that kidnapped you, the Master you’re contracted with etc).

Since Infanticida is frantically and decisively attempting to follow the wishes that shaped him, he does not back off anymore and has lost the effects of Disengage. However, now that he possesses a scarier body and more intelligent intent behind his stalking, the rank of this skill has been increased a bit. He should be able to achieve a higher rank in this skill, but it seems like his lack of subtlety severely limits its effects.

Through incarnation, Infanticida should be able to escape this innate single-mindedness, but its true desire to be useful to parents all around the world has led it to continue following its Unit Designation. Consequently, its Marble Phantasm is unchanged, and can be activated by the use of its true name much like a Noble Phantasm would.

This is a focused activation of its Manifest Phantasm that is usually acting passively through Insanity EX. By declaring its true name, a great area around Infanticida disappears as if scooped by a spoon, leaving behind a

damned world of shadows

Imaginary Number Space

. All those inside this area must be very careful to not disappoint, annoy, irritate, or otherwise bother those responsible for them. If none suitable to be their parents are present then Foreigner, who is defined by their wishes, will be the one to set the rules.
The area of effect is dominated by the world desired by the user and its rules are made anew.
Any inside this area who go against the wishes of their “parents” will recieve punishment. They might be eaten/taken into the sack/abandoned in the forest… in other words, they might disappear and submerge into Imaginary Number Space.
In its quest to please parents evermore, Infanticida has also become willing to not murder “children” who misbehave but instead apply corrective measures in the form of a powerful curse backed by a massive clump of magical energy. In other words, he can apply a “Command Spell” to anyone inside his domain, compelling them to behave as they should. If they resist the order, shadows will rise from the damned ground and drain the magical energy as well as the life energy of the target. This effect is especially devastating against spirits, including Servants.
Since Foreigner’s is aware of how its common sense is fundamentally misaligned what that of humans, it is very strict in its own rules. Any and all actions that make their “parents” spend physical, mental or magical energy on them are considered transgressions and will be punished accordingly. In practice, it’s effectively impossible to survive this attack unless their “parent” is present and cooperating.

A weird Servant that was born when one of the players in my Fate table-top RPG campaign (in which Dateman and Orpheus were also player Servants) asked to summon either the Bogeyman or Santa Claus and I had to find something interesting to do with them. He has no idea about Foreigner Infanticida yet, though it's possible it might show up depending on what they do. Except for the whole Shimousa thing.

Anyway, had most of it pretty much done and I don't there's a better time to post it than now.
Halfway through I thought about making it a Pretender but I don't think I'll touch that class until we get two or three more Servants.

Bicho-Papao: Well that's creepy. You did a good job making him seem like kind of a cute joke Servant initially only to slowly build up the lurking uneasiness until it comes to a head with the reveal of his true identity. You tied it in with canon lore quite well and while I never thought of the idea of Devils as Foreigners I'd say it was well explained and justified. I take it the "Dark Jesuit Sorcery" deal is based on Avenger Amakusa's Magecraft?

A bitter and fanatical man, the burnt-out husk of a Revolutionary hero. While he retains his former eloquence as a statesman his every word is a curse seething with venom against the French royal family and those who refused to accept his ideals. Avenger believes that his mistake was to rely on fallible humans and institutions to carry out justice, not recognizing that they would inevitably be corrupted and fall short of his purity.

Instead, he will use his power as a Servant to enact it with his own two hands. So long as all the sins are borne solely on his shoulders his beloved citizens can at least keep their hands clean--- perhaps, that is the conviction he reached to take responsibility for all the atrocities wrought during the Reign of Terror. Scorning both his humanity and style of a politician, Avenger regards himself exclusively as a guillotine, an inhuman blade of justice that exists to judge and execute evil. He frequently recites such words in an almost manic mantra while cutting down his foes.

While Robespierre in other Classes remains delusionally convinced that he is supremely good despite his actions, this version fully embraces his nature as a necessary evil. Believing humanity exists in paradox where a perfect world can't exist without an absolute evil to enforce and defend it, Avenger vows to take upon himself that evil so his people won't have to suffer. He's well aware a man like him would be rightly reviled by the Republic he envisions, but accepts that as a worthy price for creating a world free of oppression. And so--- there is no limit in how much he is willing to dye his blades in crimson.

Originally a beloved hero of the Revolution, his popularity plunged into the abyss thanks to the repeated massacres・atrocities carried out at his order during the Reign of Terror. Bearing the combined hatred of the nobles stripped of their power and the commoners declared "counter-revolutionaries" and sent to the gallows, Avenger brandishes a high rank in this Skill.

Yet he will gladly accept all that hatred, if it's for the sake of bringing to fruition the utopia he holds within his heart.

The nature of one who holds forever onto a grudge even as others forget. This single-minded determination born of darkness greatly boosts the damage dealt by critical strikes in battle. Avenger bears a peculiarly low rank in this Skill as what he's determined to never forget is not his hatred but rather his ideals.

Even when his friends and comrades abandoned him, even when he himself was brought under the very same guillotine that had claimed countless other lives--- Avenger never once lost the conviction that his actions were correct. And now summoned as a Servant when even the revolution he helped ignite is no more, Avenger vows to carry on that dream of an ideal Republic with his own bloodied hands.

An ability where one's magical energy endlessly surges forth until their revenge is accomplished. At this rank, Avenger recovers a miniscule amount of Mana for every turn.

Executioner (False)- B+
Denotes a capacity to execute Evil-aligned beings. Servants will also become a target if Avenger personally regards their actions as evil. Severing evil by means of evil- the ultimate judgment act. As Avenger never actually partook in any executions himself but merely ordered them, he possesses a (False) designation of this Skill that reflects how he chose to take upon himself responsibility for all the blood shed in the name of his ideals. In his case, members of the royal family will be counted as "evil" by definition and automatically targeted by this Skill.

A Skill that serves as the acquisition of words and gestures to lead the citizens and the masses. Especially when directed against an individual, it functions as a mental attack. A gifted orator in life who guided the people of France along the path of his ideals, even if it meant baptizing the country in blood, Avenger would qualify for a high rank in this Skill allowing him to stoke various emotions such as rage, resentment and patriotic fervor through his words. However his current mentality of "taking all sins upon himself" so his people don't suffer any guilt has willfully sealed this Skill.

A Noble Phantasm crystallizing the infamous Reign of Terror conducted under Avenger's leadership. An atrocious event in human history where countless people from all walks of life were declared "counter-revolutionaries" and mercilessly executed. Not just the rich but anyone deemed a threat to the revolution was liberated of their heads. It was Avenger's dream to create a pure Republic where everyone lived harmoniously and virtuously. Yet for the sake of that ideal he didn't hesitate to stain his hands in blood to eliminate "filth" that would only drag down the country and make it rot, much like the tyrants of old had. Put that way this Noble Phantasm expresses the extent of Avenger's severity to achieve his ideals.

A constantly active-type Noble Phantasm that warps and molds Avenger's body, the result of him taking upon himself the burden of all sins committed during the Reign of Terror. His skin blackened and hair dyed red like the blood that swept through Paris, Avenger further gains the ability to sprout a mess of scything guillotine blades from his back and arms that he can freely control as if spider-like limbs. He can shred his opponents to pieces and even scuttle along the ground or walls like an insect. In a less gruesome form of this Noble Phantasm Avenger simply forms up to a pair of curved guillotine-like swords that he wields as his personal armament.

As they "embody terror" these blades also emit a mental effect akin to C-ranked Dread Visage.



The true nature of this Noble Phantasm is a Reality Marble internalized in Avenger's own body, his inner world which consists solely of an endless void full of guillotine blades. The culmination of Avenger's ideals was a world where everyone who failed to live up to his standards of virtue was executed--- taken to its limit, it was a world where Avenger himself was the only living human remaining. This Noble Phantasm is the manifestation of that world, an abyssal space where Avenger and the beloved guillotines are the only thing allowed to exist.

Upon invoking its true name, Avenger projects his Reality Marble outwards, entrapping his opponent in a dark void before innumerable guillotine blades appear to converge on them from all sides. As death is decreed from every direction, conventional evasion is impossible and this Noble Phantasm can only be survived by having a high enough Luck stat to overturn fate or strong defensive abilities to withstand the barrage. If the target is a royal, synergy with his Executioner (False) Skill ensures that chances of death are nearly a certainty should Avenger manage to get off this Noble Phantasm.

So I mentioned a long time ago wanting to do an edgy Avenger Robespierre sheet using Ren Fuji/Tenma Yato as the FC, and now y'all can finally see the fruition of that concept. Robespierre has always been an interesting figure to adapt as a Servant, a well-intentioned extremist who became the very thing he swore to destroy, and a very morally-grey character all around. Your version where he's at his worst is no exception to this praise.

Avenger Robespiere: Interesting servant his personality is really good modelated and makes sense , the rescuer or hero that became that what he once tried to defeat , the Egoistic Apotheosis skill lets him be really dangerous in a Grailwar and i asume that his Master would he highly endangered right ?

I could see that even Gilgamesh would be forced to utilize Ea if he wants to survive that Reality Marble .

Idk what I wouldve done for Bicho, but I would have tried to make it look like the Berserker card got eaten by a mouth and when it opens the Foreigner card appears.
