    The Class skills are Territory-Defense:
A Skill defining the Gatekeeper Class. It denotes the ability to steadfastly guard a designated place. While the user remains in position, their defensive capabilities receive a significant boost. At the same time, the Skill’s effects are dependent on the Gatekeeper’s ability to repel invaders - should the user let intruders through, the effects of Territory Defense would be lost.

    Avenger - Tesso / Mii-dera-nezumi / Raigō-nezumi / Raigō (formerly)

Appearance (If you don’t like rats I would advise against opening this)

    Characteristics

Other Qualified Classes: Caster, Assassin, Berserker
Eligible Catalysts: Pieces of his temple Mii-dera, damaged relics from Enryaku-ji (weaker)
Height / Weight: 110 cm (height excluding tail) / 18 kg; 268 cm (length including tail) / 136 kg
    Alignment: Chaotic Evil
    Home: Japan
Origin: Enkyōhon, Heike Monogatari, Gazu Hyakki Yagyō, Kyōka Hyaku Monogatari, Taiheiki, Raigō Ajari Kaisoden

    Personal Information

    Attribute: Earth
Likes: Getting Revenge, Helping others get revenge, Being respected
Dislikes: Being insulted or cheated, being talked down to or told he is being petty, “idiots”
    Talents: Praying
    Natural Enemy: Jeanne d’Arc

    Lore

Avenger was once known as the monk Raigō and during the reign of Emperor Shirakawa he had earned a name for himself for his great piety and knowledge of the mantras Mii-dera housed. The Emperor after failing to bear a child approached Raigō and asked him to pray to the gods and Buddha to grant him a child, in exchange he would grant Raigō any boon within reason. Acquiescing to the emperor’s request Raigō day in and out to the gods and buddhas weaving great mantras and sutras so as to manipulate the emperor’s personal fortune and hopefully grant him a child. Finally in 1074 after much hard work, the Emperor had finally bore a son Prince Atsufumi sometimes also called Taruhito, overjoyed the emperor asked what Raigō desired to which Raigō having already had a well known reputation, great knowledge of the mantras of his temple, and thanks to the miracle he had wrought would have even greater fame than before requested the emperor grant him a new ordination building so as he could train new priests in Mii-dera.

However the monastery of Enryaku-ji, a great rival to Mii-dera and holding great political power and an army of warrior monks pressured the emperor as they refused to allow him to grant such a boon to their rivals. Bowing to the will of Enryaku-ji Emperor Shirakawa went back on his promise to Raigō. This act filled Raigō with great anger and in retaliation he declared a hunger strike and for 100 days refused to see anyone at Mii-dera. Upon the 100th day of his strike Raigō, whose body had begun to warp and mutate into something resembling that of a beast died of starvation, yet his hateful soul, filled with anger at the treachery of Emperor Shirakawa and the gall of Enryaku-ji refused to slumber. Fully transforming into an Onryō, his spirit appeared before Prince Atsufumi and a few days later he perished, before then vanishing. However his body twisted by the malice and curses which had grown within it, the very same curses and malice which transformed his soul into that of an Onryō then warped and turned into a yokai to be particular a Nezumi (a rat yokai, traditionally formed from rats who lived long enough, grew large enough, or were infected by curses or malcie as to become intelligent yokai) of enormous size and power.

Descending upon Enryaku-ji the transformed Raigō, alongside countless other nezumi (one accounting them to number 84000 in total) with bodies like stone and teeth like metal, some small, some as large as dogs descended upon the mountain eating all of the sacred texts, the scrolls, the books, and even the very buddha statues. However the largest and most fearsome of these nezumi was that of the Raigō himself, who in his transformed state had that flesh was so hard steel blades broke against it and whose claws and teeth were so strong they tore through armor like paper (thus earning him the unique name Tesso, or iron rat). Finally after all the mantras and sacred scrolls were eaten and all of the statues had been ruined, just as swiftly as they had come Tesso and his horde had disappeared, leaving not but the bodies of those he slain and what was left of the Enryaku-ji. Greatly fearful of Tesso and with their forces having proven not sufficient to defend against him or his hordes until Enryaku-ji seeking the aid of the emperor made a shrine at Mii-dera to Raigō, one facing north towards Enryaku-ji to quell his raging spirit. Since then it became customary for giant rats to be called Raigō-nezumi and a great number of smaller shrines popped up across Japan seeking protection from rats and to protect themselves from earning Raigō’s anger.

    Personality

Avenger superficially gives off the impression when summoned of a devoted Buddhist monk, one who knows of the teachings of Buddha, and follows the path well. However beneath that layer is a man who is blind, perhaps willfully to his own sinful soul. Avenger himself is prideful and ultimately petty and quite capable of holding grudges and remembering slights visited upon him. In part this is exasperated by his nature as yokai which if anything has only made him more temperamental than usual, and has also slightly warped his perceptions or beliefs on what is or is not acceptable for a monk (such as how mantras should or should not be used).

On the other hand Avenger enjoys being lavished in praise and recognition, being seen for his skill and knowledge is something he both enjoys and which can quell or lessen his anger (although rather than forgetting a matter he is merely “sitting on it for a time” and could erupt into anger once again at the subject). Despite his seemingly holy nature he has a short temper for other religions, even other buddhist temples or those who follow other sects of buddhism, and see them as either impure or foolish, however such flaws can of course be allowed to wait, if those in question “understand their place”. However, to those who are able to play to his ego or who earn his favor he is willing to teach or tutor them, so long as they do not do anything to disrespect or forget his graciousness.

    Relationships

Jeanne d’Arc: Stupid girl, you would deny your title, your very own name and place. Countless others failed at working to where you remain and even I struggled to attain such a position and you would deny such a role, even in a heretical faith such as yours, that you were given and which countless flock and seek guidance from?!

Edmond Dantes: What nonsense is it that you speak foreigner, the wrath of the heavens, the sword of the gods against the wicked. Heaven has no need of wrath or sword, the sword turned against men is the very sword used by mankind, all deed shape one’s karam and in turn grant either ruin or salvation, it is only natural that what a person does indeed is repaid onto themselves by the world and others, there is nothing mystical about this, it is the nature of the world to do such.

Shimizu Yoshitaka: Slight gives way to slight, karmic burden onto karmic punishment or reward, yet no explanation exists as to your plight. Know this child, you have my condolences, as well as my ear if it is of any worth.

Dodomeki: Yes revenge and retribution, may all manners of calamity descend upon the blind and the unworthy, yet I even I must scorn such cruelty as that you inflicted upon those two. The fate which befell you is naught but a manifestation of the karmic punishment for such a vile act, and the suffering which dogs you even still is naught but a consequence of the choices you have made.

Hozoin Inshun: Why do you question me outsider? The facts are as they are, a group of rats ate your sutra scroll, and you would blame me for such a misfortune? How uncouth, to think one of the faith would blame one such as myself, simply out of spite towards my success and the tragedy you have faced. I thought you a noble sort, but it seems I was mistaken, blaming me for being so you being focused on your art to the point of neglecting the monastery itself. Away with you miscreant you have received the punishment of your own karma, and so long as you remain as such you will continue to suffer for your feelings. Now I have matters to attend to, go and darken my doorstep no longer with your presence.

    Parameters:
    Strength – D [B]
    Endurance – C [A]
    Agility – D
    Mana – B
    Luck – D
    Noble Phantasm – B

    Class Skills

Avenger [C+]- One of the class skills of the Avenger class, Avenger is more likely to draw hatred and curses towards himself and can convert them into magical energy. When fully transformed into Tesso (a process which while not initially summoned in that form he can become such by accumulating enough curses within himself). However in this state in exchange for a large increase in his physical power he loses all sense of reasoning much like a certain skill held by Berserkers and becomes nothing but a rampaging monster intent on destroying anything which earns his ire into such. In this state, however, the amount of curses he can draw to himself to fuel his rampage is increased.

Oblivion Correction [B-]- One of the class skills of the Avenger class, while people tend to forget many things Avenger’s naturally do not forget. While strong due to his anecdotes of revenge in life and his will for such being strong enough to warp his body and spirit into this state, Avenger can be held at bay if one offers alms or recognition for him, or acts to try and offer recompense.

Self-Replenishment (Mana) [A]- One of the class skills of the Avenger class, Over a moderate period of time Avenger is able to replenish a fair amount of his replenish mana.

    Personal Skills

Animal Communication (Rats) [B+]- At this level as the Tesso, Raigō is able to command and communicate with rats (although this works better for for rats he has created) effectively using them as spies should he wish, however this is slightly hamstrung as while they aren’t small they can still be sensed as he isn’t an assassin, were this used under assign class the rats would also have a degree of presence concealment (as technically there are curses which are manifested as a part of his magical energy and rather than being truly separate entities.

They are more or less semi-sentient extensions of himself [which consequently lets him see the world through their eyes similar to a mage viewing the world through a familiar, should he wish]). Note that this trick doesn’t work for normal rats he has placed curses in, as they are entities that have a much more defined sense of self than his curse rats (and they merely host some of his magical energy rather than being fully composed of it). As such Avenger cannot fully control all of their actions or see through their eyes.

Magecraft [B+]- As a studied buddhist practitioner Raigō is capable of using several Mantras, dealing with curses, the usage of a few spells with ties to buddhist practices, and even was able to assist in aiding the emperor in having a child when he struggled greatly to have one, perhaps due to a curse which he may have dispelled or a preexisting biologic condition (although it is unlikely this was a true miracle and more perhaps an innovation of good luck upon the emperor that he may properly father an heir).

This is to the extent that combined with his associations with his temple Raigō could be summoned as a caster, however as Avenger the Raigō has a higher affinity with the manipulation of luck (pushing bad luck on his foes and good luck upon himself and his allies, redistributing luck [it would still have to balance out to the same as it was before, but he could essentially make himself go plus 2 if he pushed a minus 2 in luck on someone else in the local area]), the direction and channeling of curses, and the idea of karma and retribution and the tao (where there is good there must be evil, where there is blessings there must be curses, physical and spiritual yin and yang, etc.).

It also is cited that in the Raigō Ajari Kaisoden Shimizu Yoshitaka was taught magecraft involving rats by a monk named Raigō in her dreams after she prayed to his hokora (a small shrine) with the ambition to become Shogun. Alongside this training Raigō informed Yoshitaka of Nekoma Michizane’s grudge against her and protected her from Ishida Tamehisa who had tried to kill her.

Demonic Mutation [B]- A personal skill denoting a person or god who has become a monster or demon in their myth or legend. In the history of Japan it was claimed since ancient times that many yokai or gods could in fact be born of normal plants and animals (from foxes, to tanukis, to badgers, to giant salamanders) who after living a long enough life or accumulating enough curses or spiritual power and become yokai or divine spirits.

Raigō who possessed a great amount of hate and magical energy was filled with such indignation that after his death his spirit refused to rest and it alongside with his body became a Kyūso, a rat yokai of the class of a monstrous beast, however so great was Raigō’s power that relative to the rest of the Kyūso he was dubbed as Tesso (Iron rat) and considered a phantasmal beast with flesh as hard as stone and claws and teeth as sharp as metal blades. In effect this is the primary reason for Raigō's immense strength, speed, and agility as a servant.

    Noble Phantasms

    Swarming Rat Storm, A curse on Enryaku-ji - D++
An unconventional noble phantasm in that to try and use it as one normally would, to simply invoke its name and expect to see results would seem largely underwhelming. In effect it seemingly allows for the summoning of rats, but the truth is far more complicated, the reality is that it allows for the materialization of rats or the transformations of curses into physical form. Were Avenger to be summoned as Assassin he would also likely be able to manifest curses as a spirit able to steal the life of another person, based on the episode of him killing prince Tarohito using his noble phantasm, however, the mechanism behind the noble phantasm is identical in either case. Using the curses Avenger has gathered and his own hatred and rage, he gives those curses physical form using magical energy and they take shape (the only variance being in that the context that the event was portrayed in Avenger’s life and the name of the noble phantasm defines what that physical form will be).

This form is traditionally something which would be considered a grave curse upon Avenger’s foes, like the death of one’s only beloved child, or the destruction of centuries of collected and carefully maintained statues, scrolls, books, and mantras. Considering the nature of his foes in life the choice of rats as such is only logical as rats and mice, similar to silverfish and termites, are quite capable and inclined to feast upon books and scrolls. This combined with the tendency of rats to spread disease, their ability to be frighteningly clever at times, the difficulty in getting rid of a population of them or keeping them out of a space, and able to chew or claw through nearly anything made them both feared and hated by bookkeepers for fear of them destroying precious scrolls and documents.

Perhaps it is a testament to the immensity of Raigō’s rage and his desire for revenge against Enryaku-ji that he would take the form of and unleash a swarm of rats, as due to him being a keeper and monk in a buddhist temple himself, he likely would have known the headache that was trying to keep out and deal with rats. As such his choice to take the form of a rat is without a doubt deliberate and alongside his transformation into a yokai, a testament to his determination to see the temple of Enryaku-ji utterly ruined for their role in humiliating him.

In effect when the maximum number of rats is partly based on the number of curses he is able to manifest, although it can go up into the thousands (84000 he claims is his limit), and he can still use this noble phantasm to create rats and see through their eyes and command them even without using its name. When activated all stored curses are instantly converted into rats and they swarm towards a foe, this is not meant to be used as an attack per say, but better as a tool of destroying a foe or weakening their long term combat ability through means of destroying things like records, books, weapons, armor, chewing through walls, spreading disease, etc, perhaps even slaying their masters (although despite everything they are still just rats, even though they are made of curses and thus immune to conventional weapons, thus dozens or hundreds would need to swarm a foe at once to be able to kill them).

The power of this increases if the target is a stronghold or fortified location, and if that location has ties to religious purposes. Perhaps due to a later event in which Mount Hiei and Enryaku-ji were sieged and suffered greatly if this noble phantasm would be used in Japan it’s power would increase even more with the rats seeming to develop a keen interest in not merely destroying and damaging property, but killing anyone they come across.
    Anti-Army, Anti-Fortification
    1000 people

This one took a good while to finish. I actually had no intention of posting this after DelRey's cat foreigner, but I suppose it kinda works out in a weird way. Now I do want to do at least 1 maybe 2 more sheets before I get back to the old grind of reviews and I do have 1 about 2/3 done which I am going to do next.

Here's some thematically appropriate good music as a hint as to who they are.

    --------------------

PS. As another hint he's a thematically appropriate segment of a quote (slightly altered to both avoid spoilers about the game itself and to work as a proper sentence) as another hint to narrow it down a bunch.

"The King of Kings must be summoned. Prepare to be brought in line"

    --------------------

    PPS. Also it's not Ozymandias

There’s always a part of us we hide, a part of us we trample down into the dirt. Sometimes we bury it so deep, we forget it exists, or think it’s long gone. But eventually we’ll sink back to meet it. Will you be strong enough by then to finally accept it?

If you're talking about outside Japan multiply that scene by a bunch and you actually don't have a half bad interpretation of what the Swarming Rat Curse would look like (with at peak 84000 rats add on some imagery not dissimilar to the mouse plagues of Australia, but with rats) when used.

In Japan, well that's a whole other kettle of fish. As mentioned the Swarming Rat Curse has partly been "infected" if you will with another event, which also happened at Mount Hiei and involved a great tragedy befalling the mountain and it's monastery, however this one is of a much darker variety and involved no small amount of people dying. Basically if the rats in Swarming Rat Curse are normally not all that much of a danger unless you were designated as target for them to attack in the fortification or you attack them first, then in Japan Swarming Rat Curse is basically something out of a horror movie. In Japan Swarming Rat Curse has the rats destroy both their target and everything in their way, especially other people. although rats may be small compared to us imagine 10 or 20 jumping or climbing onto onto you and biting at you with those teeth and you get something suddenly terrifying.

Rat teeth can chew through concrete (more than enough to rip apart bones as well) and in Japan Swarming Rat Curse has the rats specifically go out of their way to hurt people, it you're lucky maybe they will puncture an artery and you'll die quickly or the blood loss will lead to delirium and thus you won't be fully aware of your pain or death (possibly going unconscious). Kinda like how dying in space is far more frightening when you think about the logistics of it (blood literally boiling in your veins, your lungs basically tearing themselves apart form the inside out as the pressure inside the lungs is suddenly greater than outside them, being alone in a cold dark void with people unable to hear you much less likely find you), death by a pack of rats is not something that would be pretty or end well.

Mind you Assassin has no control over this the way it works is that this effect is applied to his NP in Japan which while it strengthens it also makes it so that basically he can't do anything to properly make it so the rats won't kill anything vaguely human in their path assaulting a target. If you were in the grail war and you used this on say the Tohsaka estate in the hopes of killing the Tohsaka master, you may succeed, but everyone else there would not be spared the same fate happening or coming close to happening on them.

I didn't intend this but as an addition I think I'll leave it up to you if Assassin himself knows of this and doesn't care (possibly due to his avenger-esque tendencies) or simply is ignorant of this fact about his NP.

you should have posted it after my Macak, great timing along the lines of the Unsinkable Sam and the Titanic Iceberg situation a while ago. The cat servants would have their paws full with that one. the swarm of rats is actually pretty terrifying to imagine. I just noticed you did not participate in the contest, have you actually participated in the last months?

"Damn, you must have some shit luck. Why? Cause you summoned a self made loser like me. Names Branwell."

    True Name: Patrick Branwell Bronte
    Class: Caster
    Region: Britain
    Source: Historical Fact
    Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
    Armament: Figurine

    Parameters:
    Strength: E
    Endurance: B
    Agility: D
    Mana: D+
    Luck: E

    Class Skills:

    Territory Creation C-
A Caster-class Skill. It is the Skill to build a special terrain that is advantageous to oneself as a magus, such as for the purpose of collecting mana. Caster doesn't create a workshop so much as a study. However, due to his habits, the entire thing will end more and more cluttered as time goes on.

    Item Construction D+
A Caster-class Skill. It is the Skill to manufacture magical items, from implements of war to items for daily use. Also, this Skill requires time to gather components and manufacture items. Caster was never a magus so he obtains a low rank in this skill. However, when it comes to things relating to the work of his sister, it could be reproduced with startling accuracy.

    Personal Skills:

    Golden Rule (Wicked) D
A skill born not from the acquisition of one's own fortune but the fortune of others. In his later years, Caster was routinely sent hush money for his involvement in a scandal. It was enough to keep him afloat but he seemed to have wanted more than just that.

    Ephemeral Siblings B
A representation of the affection for his sisters that will never fade. It was also theorized that Branwell was the main cause of the burst of creativity in his sisters. The recognition of these memories seem to curb some of his worse habits and boost his efficiency by quite a bit.

    Self-Made Loser B
A mark of one who failed to live up to their full potential. Caster was a smart boy with plenty of willpower for his age and a peer to his sisters in the literary department, matching them in creativity and prose but it soon didn't matter as numerous mistakes had his life turn for the worse. Even then, the potential still exists, allowing Caster to gain skills not inherent to the body at C~D rank. However, it comes with the cost of inflicting a Mental Pollution like effect on him, the more he uses it.

    Unyielding Will C
A Skill that represents one's extremely firm will that never yields to any sort of agony, despair or circumstances. Birth from an anecdote about Caster's death. It was said that Caster, wanting to show the power of human determination, stood up from his bed, even as his agony spiked. It was the least a failure like him could do.

    Noble Phantasm

Three Sisters: With No Brother To Ruin The Scene
    Rank: B
    Type: Anti-Self

The first noble phantasm of Caster. The famous painting he had made of his three sisters. At first, he had painted it with himself included but decided to remove his figure, believing it would ruin the painting. This noble phantasm causes Caster to become a part of the background, rendering him invisible and undetectable to all physical senses, conversely appearing as a human void. Making intentional contact with anything or anyone would immediately dispel this effect due to "sticking out of the background".

    Young Men: Twelve Soldiers
    Rank: C+
    Type: Anti-Team

The second phantasm of Caster. A crystallisation of the innocence he shared with his siblings before his downfall into drugs and alcohol. Manifesting as twelve young men who are indistinguishable in terms of physical appearance, Caster can continually improve upon the young men, strengthening their existences. Like he and his sisters had done in life, the method of improvement is done by giving them a role within the world and a story. The longer the story of the young man goes, the stronger his existence. The given roles and story along with the increasingly strengthened existence also has the young man develop an individual personality and skills that go in accord with their story, with a young man given a charismatic personality and role of speaker having something akin to the Charisma skill, or an introvert with a mage role having Magecraft, for example. When the existence of a young man has been strengthened enough, they themselves become semi-independent from Caster and can further their stories on their own will. Caster himself has his own issues with the noble phantasm that he won't explain.

    Lore

Patrick Branwell Bronte was one of the four surviving Bronte siblings. Like his sisters, he was particularly gifted in literature and painting, aiding with the creation of the paracosms that the sisters were famous for. He, himself, had also accrued some fame through writing poems and making paintings. For all intents and purposes, he was a young man who, combined with his talent and strength of will, had a very bright future ahead of him. However, it did not go well in the slightest. Seemingly overcome with many anxieties along with a contrasting arrogance, he wasted job opportunities. Branwell soon suffered from an addiction to drugs and alcohol. There was a time where he worked at Thorp Green, which had gone well for a time before he found himself pining after a married woman. The revelation of this had gotten him fired and strained his relationship with Charlotte, one of his sisters. He died due to tuberculosis that was aggravated by his addictions along with other medical conditions.

    Personality

An absolute fuck up of a man. Caster is someone who would inevitably cause trouble for others and himself thanks to his natural inclinations. It would be better for him to not interact with others in that case. At least, this is all what Caster would unashamedly tell people with any ounce of regret. He is a willful soul who just seems to both praise and berate himself in equally immense measures. Regretful of his past actions in life, he will nonetheless talk of how great his array of skills are. Though, secretly, he is always nervous around others and would, at most times, seek to make himself stand out. His wish for the grail would be for a redo, for a second chance at his life. Both oddly and unsurprisingly, this is not meant for the sake of himself but his sisters, especially Charlotte Bronte who he did the most wrong to, in his eyes.

Creator's Note: As soon as I read about this guy, I thought "Yeah, i know exactly what he's gonna look like."

I actually generally find rats somewhat cute (at least in captivity), they're fairly smart, clean, and social animals. However even I have to draw the line somewhere and frankly I just find there's something frightening with dealing with a great number of something (1 super powered human versus an army of thousands of normal humans, one shark versus a swarm of hundreds of piranhas, or a pack of rats so nervous they would cover the ground like a carpet)., I can't nail down the why exactly, it may have something to do with human psychology, but between dealing with one very powerful enemy and an army of smaller, weaker foes, almost too numerous count just does something to me mentally.

I've never actually participated in any contests as I've always been wary of doing so as both I find myself to be rather competitive, I'm not sure I could work well under a strict deadline in terms of writing servants, and I fear that with the competition I may end up having a negative impression of other servants, even genuinely brilliant ones due to them being competition to me. To some extent I'm not fully sure if it's rational, but it's something that worries me, however at some point I may try my hand at it.

found another random, not really important gimmick, I wish i thought up for my Liszt Servant

From the Cradle to the Grave
Von der Wiege bis zum Grabe
    Melodies of Life

From the Cradle to the Grave
Von der Wiege bis zum Grabe
    Melodien des Lebens
    Melodies of Life

    PHP Code:
[RUBY=From the Cradle to the Grave][SIZE=4][RUBY=Von der Wiege bis zum Grabe]Melodies of Life[/RUBY][/SIZE][/RUBY]

    [
RUBY=From the Cradle to the Grave][SIZE=4][RUBY=Von der Wiege bis zum Grabe][RUBY=Melodien des Lebens]Melodies of Life[/RUBY][/RUBY][/SIZE][/RUBY
Eh latter isnt really pretty. It is good for NP that have different languages and you want to convey the translation, so you basically just stack the Ruby function and use the size to your advantage. If you prefer something different perhaps this looks better

From the Cradle to the Grave
    Melodies of Life
Von der Wiege bis zum Grabe

    PHP Code:
[RUBY=From the Cradle to the Grave][SIZE=5][RUBY=Melodies of Life][SIZE=3]Von der Wiege bis zum Grabe[/SIZE][/RUBY][/SIZE][/RUBY
I think the middle part should be longer than the other ones, looks better

And inspired by the recent France Sheet in the contest:

    Liberty, Equality, Fraternity
Three Words, The Soul Of A Republic.
    Liberté, Égalité, Fraternité

    PHP Code:
    [COLOR="#1E90FF"][RUBY=LibertyEqualityFraternity][SIZE=5][COLOR="#FFFFFF"][RUBY=Three WordsThe Soul Of A Republic.][SIZE=3][/SIZE][COLOR="#FF0000"]LibertéÉgalitéFraternité[/COLOR][/RUBY][/COLOR][/SIZE][/RUBY][/COLOR
Edit: got a chance to use the code function so you can just copy paste

First its merits. Kudos to you for making good use of the often forgotten connection between Chrysaor and Bellerophon. The idea of making him/her a reincarnation of sorts of the Gorgon sisters is also nice, even if somewhat of a curve ball. Still, the fact that she forms a comedy duo with Pegasus is probably my favorite part about all this.

Now for the weak spots. I think most glaring point is the manner how you pretty much turned her into a goddess on her own right, with greater divinity than the original. That might have been fine if she truly was just a fusion of three deities, but Chrysaor is often described in legends as the mortal child of Medusa. Although one might disregard the "mortal" part on the account of her not being human, it still wouldn't explain why she didn't inherit her mother's attributes as a monster - something that would have harmed her divine status. Paradoxically, you also made her endowed with Mystic Eyes, which supposedly originated from Medusa's demonic disposition.

    The Maiden With Honey Lips

This is the land where I was born. The land where I fell in love. The land where I gave birth to my son. And the land where I was finally laid to rest at the Tree of Life.
I do not need an excuse to defend this land, Chaldea.

My place as a Mother is to nurture and protect life. It is the duty of my children to decide the fate of this world. The children born of this land must decide if they will live or perish.

Chaldea… outsiders like you… have no place in it.

“One day… without fail… one day… they will stop hurting. They will stop suffering. I believe in them. I love them from the bottom of my heart. Because no child is born in this world to suffer. My children, they’ve been fighting for so long even after this world was deemed a failure. They suffered for so long…

    It’s not right.

    I refuse to accept it.

    And so does that Child.

Those born in this land will know happiness. They will know peace, old age and the embrace of the earth. They deserve it!

Not to be erased like this. As their mother, as the one who stands at the origin of this people who have clumsily stumbled through 500 years of history. I refused to let it end here.”

    The Maiden with Honey Lips

    Mother of the First Brazilian

The Girl buried beneath the Tree of Life

Iracema’s tale marks the melding of the Old and New World. A tale of new land accepting and loving those who came from far away leading to the birth of something altogether new. The people who will eventually inherit the land where she was born. In this manner, Iracema is the boundary which separates the New World from the outside world. Only those whom she accepts as her ‘children’ have the right to live and prosper in the Amazonic Lostbelt.
But that was not who she originally was.

Instead, she was a virgin sworn to the service of the Thunder God, Tupã. Who knew the secrets of creating his sacred wine.

Only her life took a turn when she fell in love with an outsider, an ally of her tribe’s sworn enemies. Someone she should have hated on sight and abandoned to the elements. She moved him to safety instead, nursed him back to health at the sacred grove of the Thunder God.

Fed him the Thunder God’s wine to save his life.

Iracema was nothing but dutiful and determined. Falling in love, however, changed who that duty and determination was aligned for. And marked a downturn which saw her exiled by her people, left to fend for herself as her lover answered his allies call to war against their ancestral enemies.

    Iracema was left alone.

She birthed her son all alone.

And then left this world when the boy’s father returned. Her body was buried beneath a palm tree as her lover and child departed.

“Lostbelt? Alien God? It seems you have mistaken me. It’s not my obligation to care about the world beyond these shores. I will keep outsiders away so that you and your siblings can make the choice. Whether this world should be pruned or not… its up to you.”

    Personality

Possessed of a maternal disposition, Iracema excels on her role of protector and nurturer, considering all of those who succeeded her son Moacir as her own children and treating them as those worthy of shaping the destiny of her homeland. Her protective instinct is such that in her presence all those classified under the ‘born in brazil’ category will receive a passive ability boost.

Unlike more receptive Matriarch figures, Iracema believes that all her descendants are ‘born of pain’ and must struggle throughout their lives in order to become respectable adults. As such, a nation in a state of disarray where her children can go through ordeals and become stronger as a result is a perfect environment.

Ironically and somewhat hypocritically, she dislikes when outsiders attempt to meddle with her children, acting to purge individuals who don’t have the qualifications to be her ‘child’. Believing that the decision of whether the

Lostbelt should remain or be pruned is up to her ‘children’ and not outsiders.

Of course, she will only interfere if said outsiders attempt to disrupt the Lostbelt.
She can be surprisingly courteous and a graceful host. Allowing travelers safe passage through her domain, feeding, healing and clothing them if they so require. She is a secretive woman who has her own agenda regarding the fate of the Amazonic Lostbelt and the survival of humanity.

“I don’t see what the issue is. It’s only right that the children of this land be the ones to make that choice. Anyone else would just get in the way of their growth.”

    Class Skills

    Territory Defense - [A]

A Skill defining the Gatekeeper Class. It denotes the ability to steadfastly guard a designated place. While the user remains in position, their defensive capabilities receive a significant boost. At the same time, the Skill’s effects are dependent on the Gatekeeper’s ability to repel invaders - should the user let intruders through, the effects of
    Territory Defense would be lost.

    Magic Resistance - [A]

A Skill of the Gatekeeper Class, it denotes one’s ability to disperse magical damage. Iracema, due to her connection to the Tree of Life and the high density mana which exists in the Amazonic Lostbelt has a high degree of resistance to spells, able to resist any damage but greater rituals.

    Divinity - [A]

Being connected to Carnaúba, the Tree of Life through her Noble Phantasm, Iracema possesses a high degree of Divinity, which has increased due to the abnormal conditions of the Amazonic Lostbelt, where the Age of Gods never ended.

    Personal Skills

    Thunder God’s Wine - [D]

Iracema’s ability to brew what is called the ‘Jurema’, a beverage said to belong to the Thunder God, Tupã, and used regularly by wise sages of many tribes. The quality of the product ends up being quite lower than usual due to Iracema breaking her vows to remain a maiden. Before, a single drink would have been able to gift someone great strength, raw magical energy and the ability to foretell the near future, but now she needs to produce enough to immerse someone on it to achieve the same effects.

    Matriarch’s Pedigree - [A]

As the Mother of the First Brazilian, Iracema possess a special link with those who belong to her ‘bloodline’. While connected to the Tree of Life, this ability manifests as an instinctive knowledge of all those connected to her ‘family tree’, their location, health, as well as granting her the ability to communicate with them. She can also control those who possess fragments of the Carnaúba implanted in their bodies.

    Nhanderuvuçú - [D]

The divine words reffered to as the ‘Voice of the Thunder God’. Those able to speak this ancient language are able to shape and command the ‘energy of the world’, giving it both life and purpose. Commonly used by primordial humans and their immediate descendants, Iracema is capable of using them due to her status as a priestess of the Thunder God. Though the effectiveness is reduced, allowing her to perform simple rituals and spells which affect the weather.

Blessing of the Land - [EX]

Being directly connected to Carnaúba, the Tree of Life, Iracema possesses what is known as the ‘Blessing of the Land’, a power which causes her body to grow exponentially and to recover from all non-lethal wounds. As a Gatekeeper, Iracema represents the boundary which separates the inside of Brazil from the Outside. Her child being the first one to be acknowledged as a ‘Brazilian’. Meaning that all who are summoned or cross the boundary of her territory will be judged according to her standards. The farther away from her vision of a 'child' the individual is, the higher the penalty their physical, mental and magical abilities will incur.

    Noble Phantasm
Carnaúba: Maiden’s Grave, the Tree of Life
    EX-Rank / Anti-Life

The sacred grove where Iracema nursed the explorer Martim back to health. Feeding him the secret wine of the thunder god. It was there that Iracema discovered love and abandoned her role as Tupã's Priestess. And it was there where Iracema was buried when she passed away after giving birth to Martin's son.

    Or so the tale goes.

But the truth is seldom cut and dry.

The grove indeed belonged to the Thunder God, Tupã. And it was indeed there that Iracema broke her vows and abandoned her position as maiden. But the tree under which she was buried was no simple palm tree, but the Carnaúba, a palm tree reffered to as the Tree of Life.

When Iracema is summoned, she summons her ‘grave’ alongside herself, a massive tree with mystical properties on the same level as the Burning Tree [Andurá] and theAncestral Tree [Pindovy]. It grows and spreads, determining Iracema’s territory the larger it becomes.

At its maximum size, Iracema’s influence will cover the entirety of the Amazonic Lostbelt.

Not only is she completely aware of everything that happens within her territory, it also cannot be dispelled as other Gatekeeper fortifications would be, requiring the tree itself to be destroyed rather than just having its perimeter breached. Iracema is able to manifest clones of herself through the roots of the Tree of Life as well as familiars.

Even if her ‘limbs’ are destroyed, Iracema will simply reform from the Tree of Life.

If Carnaubá is allowed to grow to full size, it will become something akin to a Divine Spirit’s Authority over the land, surpassing even the local Fantasy Tree, Needle while fulfilling the same functions.

    Relationships

“My dear son who returned home at last. Carrying within himself a piece of the Ancestral Tree no less. I expect great things from him. Perhaps he will be the one to rid this land of the tyranny imposed upon it by those reckless foreign gods. This land belongs to MY children.”

    Carlota Joaquina

“You may not have been born here, but you were accepted nonetheless. Your denial of this bond between you and my children is nothing but a childish tantrum, dear. It will pass soon enough.”

    Pedro I

“Poor boy. You have been fighting nonstop to protect your siblings. That’s good, I adore when my children get along.. but hmm… maybe you should try and rest more often.”

    Aqualtune

“Your children are my children. I don’t see what the issue is. The children of Pindorama have always been ‘born of pain’. Me taking sides would deprive them of the chance to grow and learn. Put that knife away, dear. You may have the power of a foreign goddess, but in this land its nothing but a trinket.”

    Sebastian I

“A fledgling god summoned by the aching hearts of my children? Nay. You are but an imposter claiming you will save them only to rule them as El Dorado has. Life or Oblivion is their choice to make? Step out of their way, Wished King.”

    King Momo

“Karma Rejection is such a strange thing, isn’t it? This version of you couldn’t be more different than the original, yet you wholeheartedly embrace the vision my children have of you.”

    The Golden King

“I find your existence repulsive. You existence taints the purpose of life itself. Cease while you still can, machine. You will find no mercy from me.”

    Servants of Proper Human History

“You should leave. This battle is not yours. If you refuse… I will remove you like the weeds.”
