I’m afraid I have a dissenting view. I see no problem with Arthurians and Victorians existing in the same category as they are equally as British, just living under a different monarch. Plus having read Koga’s attempt at dividing everything up between both geography and chronology, it creates too many categories and the Index would end up too cumbersome to use.Originally Posted by DelRey

For real though, it does bug me that we have a Sub-Sahara Africa but no North Africa so my Hannibal is languishing in the Rome section where he doesn’t belong.

I don't think anything needs to be done about South America either. There aren't enough Servants to warrant any kind of split there.
I'm working as fast as I can over here, Pine.

Thinking about it some more, since this is the third generation of CaS and the lack of a proper Maghreb region has apparently not been an issue prior, I would seriously have the Compiler consider renaming Egypt into “North Africa” as it seems they can be merged without overbloating the category.

Thinking about the Anatolia region and went back to check where my Mithradates sheet ended up.
Mine and someone else's were filed under the Greek category last thread, while the two made this thread have been split up so one is in the Middle East and one is in Persia.
Needless to say I'm confused.
Here are some of my proposals:
North America -> North America and Mesoamerica
South America -> The Andes and Brazil
Egypt -> Ancient Egypt
Spain and Portugal -> Iberia
Australia -> Oceania
Middle East -> Anatolia, The Levant, North Africa
Christianity and Judaism -> Christianity and Judaism
Question. Is judaism the same as abrahamic religion? because the latter covers content in the books the catholics tried burning while i'm unsure of the former. if both accomplish that, then I find Kamera's suggestion fine.

I'm unsure about it honestly. It is the only one that explicitly is a Religious category instead of Geographical or Geo-Cultural, so it kind of overlaps cause confusion with a lot of other categories. For example, some Saints are grouped in the Christianity and Judaism section, while some others are simply in their own country of origin. /shrug
In that case... even if the catholics write them out, you could probably disregard that and attribute the figures part of the write out, like enoch, into one of them safely... I like that idea. In that case your idea is one of the better ones I've seen.

Okay thx folks
The discussion was interesting, but a common consensus wasnt found i guess.
I think tnly the expansion of egypt into egypt+north africa can be used. The rest are either making it too complicated (koga) or there are differing views. I will start from the back and make a world map and perhaps the visualization helps decision making.

I'd consider maybe separating popes, saints, biblical figures that have mentioned birthplaces or places they're heavily associated with, and the like from stuff like angels, demons, knights of the apocalypse, and so on and so forth. The former could simply each go in the respective geographical locations.
Whether you want to make this change or not, my Pope John XII sheet most likely doesn't belong in the Roman Mythology and History section. He's associated with Rome alright, but with the Rome of what is currently classified as Post-Classical Italy - he's a 10th century pope, a lot after the fall of the Western Roman Empire. So, depending on which changes exactly you want to make, he might be a better fit in what is now the Post-Classical Italy section, or in what is now the Christianity and Judaism section. Or, if you still want post-classical Rome to be included in the Roman Mythology and History section and separated from the rest of post-classical Italy, too, it should maybe be made more obvious.

I think this should go into the womb thread.
Niten: late for review, but man. That is a great sheet.
The last part was captivating. You made an interesting character for that man. Together with your Hy B story it is an outstanding work. Glad to read your works, pinetree

Fun and twisted showerthought: a lot of kamera’s faceclaims (especially during the lemegeton project) would make great tumblr sexymen.
