Me and him chatted for a bit in private messages then he just disappeared. I tried sending him some private messages but he isn’t responding. I Wonder if he is still watching this thread.

"The tamer of the Chain of Heaven, Innana's most beloved servant, Shamhat, has been summoned. Let me give you a kiss of greeting, Master~"

    Class: Rider
    True Name: Shamhat
    Gender: Male
Height and Weight: 159 cm, 59 kg

Source: Sumerian civilization, Epic of Gilgamesh
    Region: Babylonia, Uruk
    Alignment: Neutral Good
    Attribute: Man

    Parameters
    Strength: D
    Constitution: A
    Agility: D
    Magical Energy: A+++
    Luck: A
    Noble Phantasm: C
    Biography
    Legend
Shamhat was a sacred prostitute (harimtu) associated with the temple of Innana at Uruk. In the Epic of Gilgamesh, he plays a significant role in bringing the wild man Enkidu into contact with civilization. While the modern reader would expect Anu or Enlil or one of the Sumerian tutelary deities to take charge in this situation, Innana's intervention in this matter is no coincidence.

While many scholars have put forth theories on the most important markers of the emergence of human civilization, the two markers most salient to this discussion are the presence of art (as viewed by Chesterton) and that of healed bones (as put forth by Mead). These two markers originate from the same sentiment: the possibility of a creature valuing something (or someone) as another subject, and not as an object useful for the fulfillment of their own drives. In other words, the true mark of the beginning of civilization, as synthesized from these two views, is the capacity to perceive the "full radiance of the other's being"; in other words, the capacity for beauty. And beauty, as we all know, is the chief domain of the goddess Innana.

    Character
Likes: Things that are out of the ordinary
    Dislikes: Discourteous patrons
Talent: Pillow talk, intuiting other people's thoughts
    Natural Enemy: Enkidu
A super-high-class escort with incredibly sophisticated tastes. Gracious in word and deed. Easy to please, but nigh-impossible to impress. Though Shamhat greatly enjoys the licentious overtures and mounds of treasure laid at his feet, surrounding himself with "things/people that are out of the ordinary" is his life's ambition.

Shamhat's wish for the Grail is simple: "show me something extraordinary". He is, at heart, a person who craves novelty, and will use all the resources in his disposal to attain it. That said, he is decidedly not a Servant for the front lines, and is more likely to buy and/or bed his way through the Holy Grail War than anything else.

    Relationships
    Master
Their relationship can be viewed as between a courtesan and their patron. Although Shamhat prefers to maintain an air of professionalism around him, he wouldn't be averse to mixing business with pleasure if he finds his Master interesting enough.

    Ishtar
Shamhat displays a complete deference to his divine patron, which completely catches the latter off guard when she mixes him up with Enkidu.

    Enkidu

The most important being to Shamhat during his lifetime. Although he feels excitement at the chance to meet Enkidu again, at the bottom of it lies a certain dread at the reaction that meeting will elicit. How will Enkidu react to him, now knowing that their "mentor" was priest of their most hated enemy?

    Frankenstein/Brynhildr/Katou Danzo/Nezha

"My, so there were more beings like them running around while I was taking my beauty rest in the underworld? How exciting!"

    Gilgamesh (Archer)

"Hard pass. You couldn't pay me enough to spend a night with that arrogant goldie."

    Gilgamesh (Caster)

    "This one, though... Mmm."
    CLASS SKILLS
    Riding: A
The ability to ride mounts and vehicles. All vehicles and all creatures but those of Phantasmal Beast and Divine Beast-rank can be used as mounts. Yes, it's that sort of Riding.

    Magic Resistance: D
Ability that grants protection against magical effects. Cancels Single-Action spells. Magic Resistance of the same degree of an amulet that rejects magical energy. Although Shamhat has no anecdotes of resisting hostile sorceries, he receives this Skill by virtue of having existed during the Age of Gods, when magecraft was generally more abundant and powerful.

    PERSONAL SKILLS
Golden Rule (Wealth & Body): B+
A unique Skill that combines two kinds of Golden Rule. Aside from owning a naturally flawless, god-like body, Shamhat also received numerous offerings and treasures from supplicants, further bolstered by the blessing he received from the dying Enkidu. A requisite Skill for sustaining the Sacred Prostitute's super-high-end lifestyle.

Wisdom of Divine Foundations (False): C
A skill representing the wisdom of the mes, divinely-given decrees foundational to those social institutions, religious practices, technologies, behaviors, mores, and human conditions that make civilization possible. This is originally a Skill that should only belong to the goddess Nanaya, daughter of Innana and guardian of the mes, but Shamhat came into possession of it by imparting the knowledge of these decrees upon the wild-man Enkidu. With exception of those particular of specific heroes, all Skills may be identified by performing two separate Luck checks. With that knowledge, the means of countering them are also immediately known. However, Shamhat cannot display those Skills himself; he can only grant them to others, up to rank D.

A handful of specific Skills are not restricted by Shamhat's limitations as a propagator of the mes: "Sexual Techniques", "Continuation of Sexual Performance", and "Fetishistic Constitution" can be manifested at will up to rank A, among others.

    Kingmaker's Rod: D
A skill that erodes an opponent's authority, or, in simpler words, their right to lead. By successfully neutralizing the leader, a partial or total collapse of the enemy's command structure can be effected. Grants a plus correction to damage and mental interference rolls when fighting leader-type enemies, which in turn may disable close to 15% of the enemy forces before they advance.

A Skill related to the most ancient and primal manner of conferring royal authority; that is, coition with a god. As Shamhat is a prostitute in the service of Innana, he becomes that goddess's stand-in, capable of revoking the divine right to kingship on her behalf.

    NOBLE PHANTASMS
    Enkidu: Chain of Heaven
    Rank: A
    Type: Anti-Unit/Anti-Divine Noble Phantasm
    Range: 1-30
    Max targets: 1 person

The same Noble Phantasm possessed by the King of Heroes Gilgamesh. It is a chain named after his closest friend, made to bind the gods so they cannot escape, making it one of the few Anti-Divine weapons that holds the concept of "reigning over the gods." The strength and durability of the chain grows stronger with the target having higher Divinity, but is no more than a tough chain to a target without Divinity.

Shamhat only possesses a single segment of the Chain, but it's possible to extend that single segment as far as his magical energy allows, so it's not really as much of a hindrance as it seems. As to the reason why he possesses it, it's probably something between the lines of "a trinket gifted by a lover" and "a student's return gift to their teacher".

Apāl Šamḫatu: O Gods, Prithee Know Humanity
    Rank: D
    Type: Anti-Mind Noble Phantasm
    Range: 0-1
    Max targets: 1 person

The Harlot's Liturgy. A Noble Phantasm born of the anecdote involving Shamhat and the civilizing of the wild-man Enkidu. A cognitive restructuring technique that utilizes physical contact in order to endow the target with the capacity to perceive "beauty", which serves as the foundation of the human cognitive process. The rest is, of course, handled by Shamhat's Wisdom of Divine Foundations (False) skill.

Aside from the obvious use of bestowing human cognitive processes to sapients of any type, it's also possible to use this Noble Phantasm to clear away certain mental interference effects afflicting human targets. By reinforcing the possibility of valuing the other for their own sake, Shamhat can reconstruct the human super-ego in targets that have had it suppressed, or even outright removed.

    Author's Notes
This was supposed to be my entry for last month's Servant contest, but I wasn't able to finish it due to other pressing concerns. I've roughly cleaned it up and am posting it here for posterity.

From the pits of boredom and distraction this sheet was born. I dunno why this one but I just really wanted to make an Enoch sheet. Thought it was gonna be kinda lame since there's not much about the man himself but I managed to scrounge something together I think. Enjoy.

    Enoch.png

    Source: Angelo Gabrini, Danmachi.Fandom.Com
    Class: Caster
    True Name: Enoch
    Origin: Christian Mythology
    Alignment: Lawful-Good
    Other Classes: Ruler

    Parameters
    Str: D (C) End: C (B) Agi: C (B) Mag: C+ (B+) Lck: C (B)

    Lore
    Spoiler:

He was once human like any other. However, he was always a curious boy. As he grew, he learned and discovered mysteries. He performed one of the first human-made miracles by extending his lifespan immensely. He is recorded to have lived 365 years before willingly ascending to what was recorded as heaven. Thanks to his long life, he learned many, many things including having recorded certain facts about death that even today are disputed among both scientific and magical communities as false. This is due to him never once witnessing the act of death and reportedly seeing the aftermath. In addition, his line would lead to the act of the making of the Ark. Most notable is recordings that suggest upon ascension he became a Divine Spirit known as Metatron.

    Class Skills
    Spoiler:

    Territory Creation: D (C+)

He had a small workshop in life where he explored his truths. However due to the state of the world, truly recreating it is impossible. However he can make a less efficient imitation that will serve his needs as a caster. It will take him three days and a decent store of prana to accomplish this. Due to Innocent Monster this skill is weaker and can only function as a safe haven from human enemies and a place of respite to recharge his prana at a slow pace.

    Item Construction: D+ (B)

He never truly made anything in life but he did perform a few small miracles. Among these was elongating his lifespan greatly. As such, he can perform the feat again to a lesser degree. Without his workshop, he can only give himself a minor buff in Endurance. With it, he effectively can give himself Battle Continuation at A grade. However, due to his Innocent Monster skill, he is unable to accomplish his greatest feat at full strength. He can merely gain Battle Continuation at D- grade and cannot make this miracle without his workshop.

    Personal Skills
    Spoiler:

    Knower of Secerts: B (A+)

Based on his title and works throughout life, he knows a great many things. Whenever he observes a phenomenon, he can discern the cause of it and the actions needed to resolve it. This includes many different events, from battle to day-to-day life. This skill works best when he directly observes a noble phantasm from a great distance as it reveals the identity of the one using it and methods to counteract it. However, due to Innocent Monster it is weaker and instead requires him to spend time in his workshop after to gain these revelations.

    Miracle: C (B+)

Based on his accomplishment of performing the first man-made miracle by extending his lifespan to be beyond most humans. Through use of ancient alchemy that even he was unaware of dabbling in, he extended his lifespan beyond the 365 years of life he lived. He lived longer due to entering heaven and becoming a Divine Spirit, another ‘Miracle’. When he uses this skill, circumstances will alter to give him a fair chance at resolving the situation through his own power. However due to Innocent Monster it is weaker and so will merely change circumstances to be more favorable to him.

Mystic Eyes of Death Rejection: C (A+)

Is it a mercy from god or is it his inherent Mystic Eyes? Was it simply luck he never saw death in his 365 years as a human or was it fate? The mystery regarding this fact has granted him this skill. So long as he gazes at something, the concept of death will be unable to truly grasp it. It can also work in reverse, rejecting something’s ability to kill. However, due to Rejection of Humanity, it cannot reject death from attacks above the grade of this skill.

Connection to the Root: - (E)

An inactive skill that seemingly does nothing. It may be here due to his ascension into heaven. Even so it should do something shouldn’t it…? I mean… Why would it be here if it does nothing?

    Noble Phantasm
    Spoiler:

    Per Meum Opus
    By My Own Works

    Rank: EX
    Type: Anti-Self

Based on the discovery of the truth about the Book of Enoch, this is a crystallization of this event. This is a passive Noble Phantasm and only activates upon his discovery regarding human perception regarding the Book of Enoch. The method does not matter, so long as he believes that humanity to an extent rejects the narrative pushed forth about him. It activates automatically, not requiring its true name being spoken. Upon activation, his Innocent Monster skill gets suppressed to N/A rank and his skills and parameters raise to their normal ranks.

    Ascensionis Metatron
    I am the Metatron

    Rank: EX
    Type: Anti-Self

Based on his ascension to heaven and change into a Divine Spirit, crystallized into this Noble Phantasm. The prior is technically a facet of this one but derived from a different source. So impressed was god by Enoch, who used no tricks in reaching his accomplishments, that he was rewarded this act. Normally, Divine Spirits are impossible to summon. However, Enoch may accomplish this with three acts; First he must activate his first noble phantasm, the he must activate his Item Construction at full power, and finally he must activate the skill Connection to the Root. Upon doing so, he may be used as a catalyst for a new summoning that ensures the servant summoning will 100% be Metatron.

    Personality
    Spoiler:

Enoch can be best described as a scientific alchemist. He finds great joy in learning and creating but has ethical boundaries he will not cross. While he finds it sinful to judge others methods and ethics, he finds it hard to not find those that cross his boundaries as unsavory. Depending on the depravity, he may even be pushed to act as he is a kind soul that cannot stand to see suffering. He will help the suffering however he can. Likewise he is not naive either. He fully comprehends that suffering is a part of living. Additionally, he finds it regretful that humanity has rejected his work, the Book of Enoch. Despite not having an inventors mind, he often will conduct experiments using modern science and his ancient practices to concoct new weapons for the Holy Grail War. However, he isn’t completely innocent. He does not hate evil nor does he judge others, but he has great disdain for anything he considers ‘evil’. He does not seek its destruction but refuses to let anything of its kind touch the Holy Grail.

It should be cautioned however for any master of Enoch that despite being a heroic spirit his desire lies not in a wish to the Holy Grail. His wish is that no evil lay hands on it. As such, should he find his master ‘evil’ then he will swear no loyalty. This is if he is even summoned in the first place as it is noted that ‘evil’ masters that try to summon him using catalysts related to him are rarely successful. Those that do find no loyalty and only an enemy, one capable of breaking off and sustaining themselves with a workshop. However, masters that are not such will find a steadfast ally. However, they should be aware that he fights merely to prevent it from falling into ill hands. If he finds another master and servant worthy of it, he will not fight as strongly unless he believes his masters wish to be right or just. As such, the summoning of Enoch can be both problematic and troublesome.

    Quotes
    Spoiler:

"Hello, master. I am Enoch, son of Jared! I cannot promise you the grail but I can promise no evil shall touch it with me around!"

"Now that my workshop is complete, let us begin! Tell me, master, do you value vitality or stamina more?"

"Tsk... this is problematic... if humanity accepted my works, I'd be capable of fighting you, Avenger!"

"Master... you are alive. This is good... if not for my skill, we'd be dead. We must be more careful, next time"

"Yes, master. It is as you deduced... I am weaker than I should... this is due to humanity rejecting my works after my ascension... so problematic"

"Haha! Now that I am free, I can bring my works fully to bear! Witness as I bring us victory, master! First... a tonic, one that will... well not reject death but delay it!"

"Hmmm... an interesting phenomenon. The mystic eyes of death perception... I wonder, what would happen if our eyes met?"

"Master... we are at a crossroads. Before us lie or greatest foes... and I am sad to say my talent is at its limit... we need more"

"My greatest work master. I will give you the means to summon a great servant. Metatron, king of angels. The chance is 100% if I invoke the true name of my ultimate noble phantasm... I just need some more time..."

"Ah, my wish...? Yes, I am about to vanish as 'Enoch'... I suppose i should express my human desires. I wish to ensure the grail go to worthy hands... and 'Enoch' has decided you are, master. Now, begin the ritual... and I'll see you... 'soon'?".

Seriously fun to write. I might tweak it here and there as i'm not sure if what I wanted to do with this servant fully comes across.... however, I like him so far. I wrang a lot of good things from the small legend he has. All without putting anything from his 'Metatron' ascension. Enjoy!

Enoch: Interesting sheet for a fairly sparse Biblical figure. I do have some quibbles though. First off, Item Construction can only make physical items, it doesn't let you (directly) grant Skills or raise stats. If he accomplishes those effects through making stuff (like a potion or what have you) then you should note as much. As is it sounds almost like he has some version of Chiron's Wisdom Of Divine Gift within his workshop. Secondly, his living 365 years wasn't that special for Genesis times, in fact many of his close contemporaries outlived him. I feel like in Nasuverse terms it'd be more a matter of earlier humans being just better (physically) than anything unique to Enoch.

I'm also not quite sure what the basis in his legend is for the Mystic Eyes of Death Rejection Skill (I've read the part about him "not seeing death" but figured that was more metaphorical), why Innocent Monster has a (False) designation (seems it comes from people's beliefs about him just like the regular version) or how exactly his first NP works. For the last one, once he finds out that people reject the Book of Enoch's canonicity it automatically activates to seal his Innocent Monster Skill and power him up? I don't see why it should work that way and it makes the debuffing aspect entirely trivial since his Master can just immediately inform him of how his works are perceived to cancel out the negative effects. (In fact, his quotes section seems to contradict that where he expresses awareness his weakening is caused by rejection of his works without dispelling it).

Don't mean to sound overly negative. Depicting Enoch as an alchemist who pursued knowledge while still honoring God was a creative twist on his legend, I'm just curious/questioning about some things.

Nice to see Samyaza's bro here. Overall, the Skills are pretty good, and I'm especially interested in his mystic eyes, though as Royd said, its basis can be... sort of questionable. Then again, it wouldn't be the firsy time Fate took a metaphorical line from the HS' legend and turned it into an actual ability.

The NPs though... While there's nothing really wrong with it, I feel like they're mostly just there to hype up an eventual Metatron sheet. I wonder if you'll get to writing him anytime soon...

I'll start with you because its a lot to go over. Thank you for the criticism. It has made me go back and realize how woefully short my research was. I completely neglected to research anything about other figures. So I'll probably rework item construction. However as you pointed out it is a physical item he creates that grants the effect and I just messed up describing it because... for some reason I was being vague? I dunno why.

As for his skill Knower of Secrets... it kinda does in fact do that but a bit more. Basically, he doesn't need to even see the source of something to know what caused it and the power of it. Depending on if he's restricted or not, he can develop countermeasures within reason.

As for his mystic eyes... that was me being a the mouse you shouldn't give a cookie to. I saw that fact and decided to run with it. It's probably a bit overpowered so it may be tweaked down a bit.

As for the first... yeah. That is me screwing up the idea. The whole idea was a 'lies give way for truth eventually' bit that seems to have failed so it may be removed... but at least it'll be reworked since it isn't panning out like I thought.

Again thanks for the criticism. I want to improve on my sheet making skills since I plan to write more fate works and its best to get an early start. I barely get any feedback on my own fanfictions so... yeah. Thanks again.

A bit of column a, bot of column b. It never specifies which 'Metatron' just a 'Metatron'. If it existed, they could get a 'Metatron Alter'. That said, I initially considered making it one of those 'they become a kaiju' noble phantasms but decided against it because that enters smt territory. That said... depends. I don't think so atm because I don't have any unique ideas for him like with Enoch. That could change though.

    Arthurian Cycle

The name given to the collection of tales centered on the King of Knights and his contemporaries. The legends regarded in modern times as symbolic to the ideals of chivalry. Many of the elements that appear here – such as the holy sword Excalibur, the royal castle of Camelot and the glorious Round Table – are notorious all across the world.

Encroaching Blade of Gold. A mystic code in the shape of a dagger, endowed with the power to tear off the mind and soul from the body. A blade that can slip into the space between the three components that make up human beings.

Incidentally, it seems its original model is the "golden sickle of druids" – a ceremonial tool employed during the harvesting of mistletoes. Given the way how the mistletoe does not sprout from the ground, but instead grows in the air while attached to tree branches, the druids of old regarded it as sacred, viewing it as "a manifestation of the divine spirits dwelling in trees, a god disguised as a plant".

    CLASS SKILLS

The capacity to negate or abate the effects of Magecraft. Negates Magecraft with an aria of two verses or less. Cannot defend against large-scale magecraft such as High-Thaumaturgy or Greater Rituals.

    Presence Concealment: -
This skill has been lost in exchange for the Noble Phantasm.

    PERSONAL SKILLS

    Bravery: B
The ability to negate mental interference such as pressure, confusion and fascination. There is also an effect of increasing the melee damage inflicted on the enemy.

    Dignity of the Assistant: A
An outstanding adjutant officer. Even if unrewarded, a faithful aide always provides the greatest support to his superiors. By providing the appropriate follow up, plus modifiers are bestowed to all checks performed by the target.

    Guidelines of a Meele: C
A methodology for crowd-combat, in which friends and foes are all jumbled together. Not the ability to take command of a military force, but combat techniques to persevere as a single warrior within an army troop.

    Mystery Slayer: A
A special effectiveness against mystery. The anecdotes regarding the (attempted) murder of his mother sublimated as a skill.

Morgan le Fay is one of the greatest “symbols of mystery” in human history. As such, the fact that he (supposedly) killed her with his own hands makes Gaheris an outstanding “killer of the supernatural”.

    Uncrowned Martial Arts: -
Competence with arms that were not recognized by others due various reasons. To opponents, the ranks of his sword, spear, Bravery and Guidelines of a Meele appear to be one degree lower than what they actually are, and his Alignment will seem like the complete opposite. This effect vanishes once his True Name is revealed.

    Weapons

    Spear of Taraquin
The weapon employed in the duel against the giant Aupatris, who terrorized the city of Taraquin. A tailor-made article that was customized so it could be used both on foot and on horseback. A high-quality armament, but it lacks any sort of mystical properties. Nevertheless, Gaheris has a great attachment to it due being an item connected to one of his few honorable achievements.

Although referred as a “spear”, this is actually something closer to a halberd. Historically speaking, the term “halberd” refers to a Swiss polearm whose use only became prominent in the 15th century. Still, early prototypes could be found all over Europe since as early as the Bronze Age.

    NOBLE PHANTASM

Phantom Knight – I am the Shadow
    Rank: D
    Type: Anti-Unit (self)
An extreme lack of presence, inconspicuousness. Letting himself be outshined in order to hide in someone’s else shadow. So long there is another hero besides Gaheris present, said hero will inevitably become the focus of everyone’s attention. In a sense, this is a sublimation of Gaheris’ circumstances within the Round Table.

A constantly active Noble Phantasm. An ability that forcibly diverts the gazes of the surrounding people away from himself, misdirecting their awareness. In order to resist this, one must be successful in a LCK check at the beginning of every turn. Also, because the target’s perceptions about Gaheris play an important role here, minus modifiers will be applied to those checks if the skill Uncrowned Martial Arts is still active. Unlike Presence Concealment, performance does not degrade when the user prepares to attack, so a perfect surprise attack is possible.

    if an Assassin
Erosion Morgause – Sin-stained Blade of Gold
    Rank: B
    Type: Anti-Mind
Blade of matricide. A Noble Phantasm added to Gaheris’ roster only when he is summoned as an Assassin. The crystallization of his most infamous, shameful deed.

Originally a mystic code possessed by Morgan le Fay, this golden dagger was employed by Gaheris to kill his mother. Due to the influence of the circumstances surrounding said incident, its powers were altered・specialized into a weapon that destroys the mind upon being sublimated as his Noble Phantasm. The victims of this blade suffer damage not on their flesh and bones, but on things such as intellect and thought patterns. In addition, divine protections and powers of immortality meant to preserve the body have no effect against its attacks.

    Background
    BACKGROUND

One of King Arthur’s Knights of the Round Table. The Sixth Seat of the Round Table. One of the children born from King Lot and Morgan le Fay, he is the younger brother of Gawain and Agravain and the older twin brother of Gareth. The Knight of Treachery Mordred is his younger brother by a different father.

Also goes by the name Garnet. Or maybe, Gwalhafed (summer hawk).

A handsome young man possessing a gentle nature. Prudent and considerate, he constantly worries about the general mood and tries his best to be of assistance to the surrounding people. However, he occasionally ends up falling on an impasse due to worrying too much.

A tragic knight with the disposition of a proud, but aloof hawk. A humanist that prizes morality and endeavors to promote a lawful society. A man of integrity who has a strong sense of conviction, but that usually goes unnoticed due to him possessing a taciturn personality with a severe lack of self-assertion. In his previous life, said disposition caused him to be mostly ignored, forgotten by the surrounding people.

At the same time, Gaheris is a man that cares deeply for his family. He served under his brother Gawain as a squire prior to becoming a knight, and continued to support him as an adjutant even after joining the Round Table. Still, that also worked against him in a sense, as he ended up being perceived simply as Gawain’s accessory・appendage (as a matter of fact, Gaheris most often appears in legends as a side character in his brother’s anecdotes and there are very few tales in which he is the protagonist). No matter how much of an exceptional new star (new face) one might be, it is only natural to be outshined when standing next to a sun.

That being said, his competence as a hero is the real deal. Although Gaheris was inducted into the Round Table roughly at the same time as Gareth, he was able to stand as an equal with most of the other veteran knights thanks to having accumulated accomplishments・experience while working as Gawain’s squire. In Thomas Malory’s “Le Morte d’Arthur”, Tristan mentions that “I feel that Sir Gaheris is actually a better knight that Sir Gawain”.

Incidentally, if Gawain is the kind of person who can perform only under limited conditions but promises extraordinary success whenever he does, Gaheris is the kind that works well in any circumstances but produces just modest results.

Much like his siblings, Gaheris final moments were tragic. Ordered to stand witness of Guinevere’s execution along with Gareth, he could only stare in shock as Sir Lancelot (who appeared to rescue the Queen) showed no qualms in killing his sister when she stood defenseless before him. Rage and grief led Gaheris into attempting to avenge her death, but he ended up having the tables turned against him and was cut down by Lancelot instead.

If pressed, Gaheris will admit that he still bears some grudge against Sir Lancelot. Not for killing him or betraying their king, but rather he simply can’t forgive the callous manner how Lancelot took the life of his sister. However, unlike Gawain and Agravain, Gaheris finds himself unable denounce Lancelot too harshly.

For he too knows what it is like to commit a mistake that cannot be undone due to a moment of passion.

    Sin-Stained Knight

As previously mentioned, few are the legends in which Gaheris is the protagonist. And among those rare exceptions, the most well-known is actually a shameful one. The tale of how he killed his mother, Morgan le Fay, with his own hands.

The story goes that Gaheris discovered that Morgan was having an liaison with Sir Lamorak, conspiring with him to bring down King Arthur. Given also how Lamorak was the son of Sir Pellinore, (the slayer of his father, King Lot), Gaheris ended up cutting down his mother in a fit of rage. Afterwards, he pinned down Morgan’s murder on Lamorak and used it as an excuse to justify killing him in a duel.

When the truth of the whole incident came to light later, Gaheris was stripped of his status by King Arthur and exiled from Camelot. He would then depart on a pilgrimage of atonement and have many adventures. Eventually, Gaheris would be forgiven and allowed to rejoin the Round Table thanks to the efforts of Sir Lancelot (this is one of the reasons why both he and Gareth held Lancelot in high regards).

This is a digression, but this tale of matricide harbors a certain contradiction. If we are to take it at face value, Morgan le Fay supposedly met her end at the hands of Sir Gaheris. However, said Morgan is often regarded as being one and the same as Vivian, the Lady of Lake who would attend to King Arthur in his final moments – long after Gaheris’ death.

This work regards that both Gaheris’ sin of matricide and Morgan/Vivian’s presence at King Arthur’s deathbed in fact occurred.

To begin with, Morgan was not a proper human being, but rather a scion of the British Isles – a mixed-blood of man and fairy. Born with conflicting aspects that were constantly at odds with each other, she eventually learned to accommodate them by establishing each one as a different ego within herself – a peculiar case of multiple personalities disorder. Those were the pure fairy of the lake (Vivian), the witch that embodied the will of the island (Morgan) and the proud human princess (Morgause).

That being said, her human aspect was the weakest of the three and, whenever there was a conflict between them, often saw herself getting the short end of the stick.

Among all of Morgan’s children, Gaheris was the only one who truly understood her plight. Furthermore, as far as he was concerned, the human princess (Morgause) was their true mother, while both the fairy (Vivian) and the witch (Morgan) were nothing but parasites that tormented her. The matricide that he committed was no mere crime of passion, but a desperate attempt to save his beloved mother.

By employing Erosion – a magic item with the power to interfere in the mental make-up of others – he hoped to end his mother’s suffering by removing those parasites from inside of her. But while it might have been possible for someone who truly mastered magecraft, this sort of delicate mental surgery was too dificult of an endeavor for an ordinary man with no understanding of mystery. As a result, Gaheris inadvertently killed her due committing a mistake during the incision, completely breaking her mind. Afterwards, her non-human aspects alone were resurrected by the intervention of the will of the island (given the idiosyncrasy of fairies, this was not a true revival of the dead, but rather the emergence of a next generation of fairy of the lake (Nimue) that completely inherited the previous generation’s (Morgan・Vivian) memories and personality).

Even now, Gaheris greatly regrets not being able to save his mother (Morgause). Should he be summoned in a regular Holy Grail War, he will probably wish to perform some sort of atonement for his failure. Even if it means committing an even greater sin…

back from a trip, time to read again

Angantyr: straightforward, decent sheet. I like the NP

Shamhat: I like the logic behind it, really my thing of basing Rider of when the concept of civilization started. But why the genderbent? was canon to be a woman, in myth and TM lore

NG: wb, cmon, make some dick joke servants

Enoch: i like what you did here. I especially like the idea of his mystic eyes, but the reasoning could be worked on. Also when Innocent Monster has so much impact, I would put it as the very first personal skill, to get the other skills right away. The first NP is a bit weird, a trigger kind of NP needs a better explanation. But overall I get what you were going for. Still, like Royd mentioned, there are parts that are misunderstood. the Item Construction skill does have the description that a potion that grants limited immortality or something can be created, my guess you read that and made it into BC. It is a minor technicality. But Innocent Monster is actually a skill that can not be removed. That is stated plain in the canon description. (False) may show that, but it is a weird skill together with his NP. Perhaps creating an Innocent Monster variant, like Accused Sinner or something that still has the same basic effect, but runs on the logic of a meter, that measures the local acceptance of his legend. I think the book of enoch was found in Africa? Ethopia? Idk, but there it would be straight up be positive, while in typical western christian countries like Italy with the Vatican it would be on the other spectrum. Like a certain home/recognition system that is present on every summon anyways. As Bn said, it also feels like a stepping stone for Metatron, throwing himself away for that other him. Could be handled differently. Like Royd, i do not wish to seem negative, but I like the creativity behind it to give much more feedback to make that shine through more.

    Nice timing, Gaheris
I really, really like that sheet. Well thought out for both versions of him and the lore part of the triple morgan and his legend is just great.
i wanted to suggest a summer version for him, but i mixed up the banners of the game in which the FC appeared in. here he uses a tome

Seemingly to justify why Enkidu was male with "her" appearance but since Enkidu is an androgynous clay-being anywhere it doesn't seem really necessary. Or maybe NC just felt their character-type would be more appealing/interesting as a guy. It's not like their haven't been genderbends in canon with less justification...

I’m tired… Can’t we postpone this for a few more days, Master?
Okay... alright, enough already… Let’s just get this over with...
I’ll show you, these glasses aren’t just for show!

    Class: Caster
    True Name: Ibn al-Haytham
    Alias: Alhazen
    Gender
    : Male
    Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
    Origin: Historical Facts
    Attribute: Man

An Arabic scholar hailed as the “Father of Optics” for his contributions in uncovering the true nature of light. Regarded as the next great physician after Archimedes, he formulated what is known as “the scientific method” and is the first to correctly describe the phenomenon of “vision”. He is also credited for inventing the camera obscura, the progenitor of modern cameras.

Although a genius in theory and diligent in experimentation, he is a slacker at doing everything else. He is especially unenthusiastic in actually carrying out large projects he had laid out, often quitting in the middle of a work, saying “It’s impossible after all… Let’s just go home…”. He would even do something as extreme as feigning madness to escape troublesome orders forced by troublesome Masters.

    Parameters:
    STR: D
    END: C
    AGI: E
    MGI: B
    LCK: A
    NP: C

    Class Skills:
    Item Construction: A
Among his specialties is manufacturing lenses and glasses endowed with magical properties, such as Mystic Eye Killers. As a researcher of science and magecraft, Caster spent much of his career in Egypt at the workshop of the Atlas Institute, where he created various magical devices based on his scientific experiments.

    Territory Creation: B+
In addition to the regular magus Workshop, through his Noble Phantasm Caster can also construct a Camera Obscura, a room-sized camera that can simulate a recorded or predicted event.

    Personal Skills:
    Phenomenon Elucidation: B
Perceptiveness which allows one to grasp the essence of things and replicate it through experimentation. It is the application of the methodology that Caster developed, the Scientific Method. The chance of success lowers the higher the mystery of the phenomena sought to be replicated. Caster cannot replicate effects of Noble Phantasm above C-rank. In addition, this skill is similar to Item Construction in that the more complex phenomenon requires Caster to gather corresponding materials to be able to replicate it.

    Optical Illusion: A
An illusionary technique that only strictly interferes with the vision, as opposed to Illusion Arts that tampers with the psyche. It is a magecraft Caster employed using various tools and devices to manipulate the composition of light and how the eye perceives it.

Among other things, it allows Caster to obfuscate distance between objects, conjure holographic image projections, and nearly everything else a regular Illusion Arts can do. In addition, Caster can also inflict blindness by forcing extreme brightness upon an enemy’s eye. However, creatures that do not rely on their vision, or those who simply do not have eyesight won’t be affected.

    Artificial Mystic Eyes: B
A Mystic Code that imitates the mechanism and effects of a Mystic Eye; in other words, it is a Mystic Camera. The camera captures the image of the object, then the image is then processed by the gemstone lenses within the camera to render the desired effect of a Mystic Eye, and finally the resulting photograph is printed back into the world, inflicting the target with the simulated effect.

Mystic Eyes works on the basis of the ancient theory which assumed that “the eye emits rays of light towards an object, resulting in vision”, thus allowing the existence of eyes that can interfere with the world. Ibn Haytham’s discovery, however, inverted this mechanism, concluding that “objects reflected light rays which the eye receives, resulting in vision”, thus making possible the invention of the camera. The Mystic Camera operates paradoxically by simultaneously applying both those contradictory theories at once.

    Noble Phantasms:
    Al-Muthlim Camera
All Obscuring Dark, Show the World’s Truth
    Type
    : Anti-Unit (Self)
    Rank: C
Camera Obscura. An offshoot of the Logos React device of the Atlas Institute. It is a Noble Phantasm crystallizing both Caster’s development of the Camera Obscura, a “dark room” with a small hole that projects an image of the outside world, and the legend where Caster feigned madness and confined himself within one such “dark room” in order to avoid a tyrannical Caliph’s death sentence.

In essence, this Noble Phantasm produces a bounded field the size of a large room which generates a simulation of recorded events. An “event” is first captured using the Mystic Camera, containing records of everything happening within a designated area. Then, after this Noble Phantasm is employed, these records are replayed within the Bounded Field as a simulated mini-singularity, in which the events are repeated and all objects are replicated, allowing Caster and anyone inside the Bounded FIeld to essentially revisit the past. It is also possible to simulate a predicted future event given enough existing records.

What happens inside the simulated singularity contained within the Bounded Field does not affect the real world. However, with a massive amount of magical energy on the scale of a Holy Grail, the imposition of the singularity into the world might not be impossible...

    Top-Level Creator's Note
Welcome to my Halloween project. Better get yourselves comfortable, because it's only going to get much darker and edgier from here.

This sheet is technically part 2 of the series, with the part 1 written almost 2 years ago here. It's interchangeable, though, and it's recommended that you read that sheet before or after this one to get a different perspective on the story. Incidentally, "perspective" is a pretty important thing for this character.

Excuse the quality on that sheet though, 2021 BnEl15 has gone through more character development compared to 2019 BnEl15. I might remaster that sheet eventually, if the opportunity arrives.

Oh, and click on the Archer class card to reveal the FC and opening quotes.

    Archer of Kahuripan

-- The Sin of Not Knowing --

"Servant Archer, at your service! So this is Chaldea, huh... It looks like you're in quite the predicament. But that's okay, though. Everyone deserves another chance to rise up from rock bottom. The thing about humans is that no matter how many times they are knocked down... they can always find a way to stand back up and fight for the things they believe in. I trust you are the same, Master."

    Source

"See here, I've been summoned as what you call a 'Heroic Spirit', right? But when I think about it, what does the term even mean? Back then, I tried my best to become what most people consider a 'hero'', but even now, I'm not entirely sure if I am truly one. What makes you a 'hero' anyway? Most would answer with cliches such as fighting for justice and the like, but whose 'justice' exactly are we talking about? Sure, there's the common, conventional definition of 'justice', but that definition is strictly limited to what you- or the people as a whole- know about the enemy. I mean, who's to say 'the other side' doesn't have their own definition of the term? That brings me to the next point, specifically on how-"

*He continues to ramble about this topic for the next half an hour or so*

    Class: Archer
    Other Classes: Rider, Assassin

    True Name: Airlangga
    Alignment: Neutral Good
    Origin: Indonesia (11th century)

    Parameters:

    STR: C
    END: A
    AGI: B
    MGI: C
    LCK: B
    NP: B

Likes: Helping others, discounts, simple traditional dishes, second chances
Dislikes: Conventional (subjective) definitions of heroism, wasting money and resources, excessive praise
Talent: Living frugally, conserving resources, hunting, nation-building
Natural Enemy: The Cult of Durga, King Wurawari of Lwaram
    Armament: Bow and arrow, shortsword
Catalyst: A page from the Kakawin Arjunawiwaha

    Class Skills
    Independent Action (A)

The ability to remain independent even when rejecting the Magical Energy supply from one's Master; the ability that allows for action even in the absence of the Master. It is possible to stay in the world for about a week without a Master. However, to use Noble Phantasms of great magical energy consumption, backup from the Master is necessary. Archer was born in a time period and geographical location filled with mystery. Furthermore, his experience as a survivalist lurking in the forests while amassing his forces has taught him to conserve mana and other resources necessary for his manifestation. With all of these factors combined, Archer possesses this Skill at a very high rank.

"Ahaha, what can I say? Back when my uncle's kingdom fell, I had to rely on no one else but myself and a few close friends just to make it through the night! That was an enlightening experience I tell ya! Hiding in the forests without a single penny to your name, fishing or hunting some big game to eat daily, and constantly looking behind your shoulders to see if there are enemies lurking behind the corner... With the benefit of hindsight, maybe it wasn't such a pleasant experience, but I wouldn't throw away those memories for anything."

    Magic Resistance (B)

Grants protection against magical effects. Differing from the resistance effect that merely rejects magical energy, this ability cancels the spells altogether. Cancels spells with a chant below three verses. Even if targeted by High-Thaumaturgy and Greater Rituals, it is difficult for them to be affected. Archer's relatively high rank on this Skill is attributed to his feat of bringing down the Balinese chapter of the ominous Cult of Durga during his youth; a terrifying cult of fanatics who utilized their magecraft to spread terror and misery throughout the island, all for the sake of a certain woman's twisted sense of justice.

"The Cult of Durga, huh... Now that's a memory I'd rather leave buried in the deepest excesses of my mind. As many other tales you've probably heard before, it was a battle between good and evil, except even I'm not sure who was on which side now. The Demon Queen, Rangda, she died fighting for what she believed was right, but by the time I reached her, she was nothing more than a demon that had to be cut down. It was a hard decision, but not one I regret. Even so, from her point of view... maybe I was the demon. Ah, I don't know anything anymore! That's enough deep philosophical discussions for today! You'll have to treat me to something in the cafeteria if you want to hear more!"

    Divinity (D)

the measure of whether one has Divine Spirit aptitude or not. At high levels, one is treated as a mixed race of a Divine Spirit. Archer was undeniably human. However, the temples, statues, and literature describing him often compared his legend with those of deities such as Vishnu and Arjuna. One of them in particular, the Kakawin Arjunawiwaha, drew parallels between Archer defeating King Wurawari of Lwaram, who led the invasion to the kingdoms of Medang and Bedahulu, to the legendary Arjuna as he defeated the Demon King Nivatakavacha. These comparisons granted him a small measure of their divinities.

"I suppose no matter who you are, where you come from, or what era it is, the people just looove heroic success stories like mine. Thus they conflated 'heroes' with legends like Arjuna, while 'villains' are conflated with demons or the 'evil' gods like the destructive war goddess Durga. That said... even Arjuna did things he weren't proud of, and even Durga did some good things from time to time. With that in mind, sometimes I wonder if it's truly right for us to divide everything so neatly into arbitrary definitions such as 'good' and 'evil'... Well, that's just a little something I learned during the course of my life."

    Personal Skills
    Charisma (B)

A composite Skill consisting of a person's charm as well as the natural talent to command or unify an army or country. A royal who fled from a ruined kingdom, amassed a sizable amount of troops, and established his own kingdom to strike back against the invaders who devastated his prior home, Archer naturally possesses this Skill at a high rank.

"I may be a King, but I don't flaunt my authority before my subjects. I fought by their side at the frontlines, knowing full well the hardships we shared together at the hands of our invaders. Apparently the people will love you more if you don't treat them like disposable pawns! What a surprise, right?"

    Crossing the Water (B)

In ancient Javanese, Archer's name means "He who
    leapt over
    crossed
    the water
". In a way, this name would foreshadow his fate when he was forced to cross the Balinese strait to escape invaders and remnants of the Cult of Durga after his father's kingdom fell to war. Afterwards, Archer served under his uncle in the Javanese kingdom of Medang, but his uncle's kingdom soon fell to invaders as well, perhaps due to a curse uttered by a certain Demon Queen before her defeat. From then on, Archer spent years on the run, accompanied by only two of his most trusted retainers. He continued to run, until the day he was ready to make his comeback, and take what's rightfully his. This is a composite Skill consisting of Battle Continuation, Disengage, and Determination of Steel, representing one man's indomitable will when faced with overwhelming odds.

"Looking back, my life was one full of running away. However, there's no shame in that. Fighting valiantly to the bitter end against overwhelming enemy forces may sound cool on paper, but you probably wouldn't get very far if you keep doing that with every enemy you encounter. Sometimes, 'rising up from rock bottom' can mean running away to fight another day. Just one day at a time, until victory is within sight!"

    Anti-Evil (C-)

Grants an extra damage modifier towards enemies with evil alignment. A Skill born of his feat as a Hero-King who defeated the Demon Queen Rangda. As Rangda would later come to be known as a semi-mythological avatar of evil, it can be said that Archer once struck down the very concept of 'evil' itself. While its rank could have been somewhat higher, Archer willingly chose to suppress a large portion of this Skill's effects due to his particular mindset as a Servant.

"I don't like this Skill. Too subjective. Oversimplified. One person's 'justice' is another person's 'evil', and most of the time, we won't know which is what until it's far too late. I do not regret striking down mo- the Demon Queen. By the time we met, it was the only path available. However, I regret the fact that I did not know. Then again, I suppose that's the root of all this problem, isn't it? We don't know anything. We're only human, and there's only so much we could do, but maybe if I had tried harder to understand her before all that tragedy took place... Well, maybe things could have turned out differently."

    Hero of Uncharted Lands (C)

A Skill that functions similarly to Demonic Defender of the State, this Skill denotes one explorer's feat of accumulating fame in distant lands, far from their own homeland. Wherever the user is Archer, the surrounding area is marked as their personal territory, and he gains access to leylines within their vicinity. Denoting the act of "accumulating fame in foreign lands", Archer gains the benefits of a small fame boost within this "new uncharted frontier". This fame boost gradually grows in strength the more people are aware of him and his actions. Strictly speaking, the island of Java isn't strictly what you would call "uncharted territories" when you've spent most of your life in the nearby island of Bali separated only by a strait that cleaved apart the two islands. However, after losing everything not just once, but twice, Archer roamed the island of Java with nothing to his name, accompanied only by two of his most trusted retainers. The true definition of "starting from rock bottom", according to Archer himself. Slowly but surely, he helped himself back up, one step at a time. He liberated villages from Srivijayan control, and amassed a sizable army from displaced peasants, dissatisfied local leaders, and other like-minded individuals. Gradually, his fame grew, from a nameless wanderer to a legendary hero who carried the people's hopes and dreams.

"Ah, the people tend to give me too much credit. I did only what I could, and before I knew it, I found myself fighting for their sake. The way they compared me to the likes of Arjuna and Vishnu, I suppose I simply embody the values they consider 'good'. In a way, they do not love me. Rather, they love their definition of 'goodness', regardless of my own thoughts on the matter. Ah, but that's enough depressing talk! Regardless of whatever value system they uphold, there's always something awesomely uplifting about an underdog rising to the top, wouldn't you agree? I'm sure you can understand the sentiment, Master; no matter how many times the world beat you down, another day will come, the sun will rise again, and you can always stand back up, no matter how many times you're knocked down!"

Second Coming of the Awarded Hero
    Kakawin Arjunawiwaha

"The namesake bestowed upon me by the people, Arjuna of the Pandavas. It's a heavy burden, and I doubt I could ever truly measure up to the name, but I suppose I've gotten this far already. He sure wouldn't mind me borrowing his powers for a sec. Here goes; Kakawin Arjunawiwaha!"

An ancient Javanese poem drawing parallels between Archer's life and the legendary hero Arjuna's. According to the poem, Archer's feat of defeating the tyrannical King who led the invasion to his homeland and slaughtered his family is comparable to Arjuna's feat of slaying the terrifying Demon King Nivatakavacha. Namely, both legends involve underdogs who prevailed against powerful enemies despite overwhelming odds stacked against them. By tapping into these parallels, it is possible for Archer to temporarily "become" Arjuna under the right circumstances.

A Noble Phantasm only usable in a pinch, or when there is an astoundingly large gap in power between Archer and his enemy. Once the conditions are met, Archer would utter a certain incantation to activate this Noble Phantasm, and his Saint Graph would undergo a brief metamorphosis. Within minutes, his original Skills would be replaced by Arjuna's, and his parameters would change accordingly to fit this new form. Once this transformation reaches its peak, Archer gains access to a very limited release of Arjuna's Pashupata. Instead of a large area-of-effect attack that "judges each target individually and delivering Moksha to those who fail", Archer's version is a simplified, single-target version that simply allows him to release a single arrow that bypasses all barriers to deliver instant death to the target, at the cost of instantly deactivating this Noble Phantasm and greatly depowering his other abilities for the next few days due to the mana cost. This modification is based on Arjuna's feat of temporarily surrendering his armaments before releasing a single arrow which pierced the Demon King's tongue, his single weak spot, unprotected by his impenetrable skin.

Without unleashing this pseudo-Pashupata, Archer's transformation would last for about 15 minutes, due to his human origins as opposed to Arjuna's more divine heritage. Furthermore, despite possessing the legendary hero's Skills and parameters, this Noble Phantasm does not account for differences in skill (with lowercase "s"), talent, and experiences, meaning Archer can never become a truly accurate representation of Arjuna no matter how much he tries. Nonetheless, this Noble Phantasm grants Archer an opportunity to perform a spectacular comeback when his back is against the wall.

    Sun-Sealing Divine Armor
    Satria Garudayana

"Fear not, children, for I! AM! HERE! W-Wait, what!? Ugh, guess this armor's really getting to me. My people presented it to me as a symbol of their gratitude or something like that. This also means that this armor also carries their ideals. Unfortunately, their 'ideals' can get me to say some weird things sometimes. Please stop me before I'm too far gone, and don't bring up anything weird I may say so long as this Noble Phantasm is active, or I might just die of embarrassment."

Aside from the legendary Arjuna, records of Archer's feat often compared him to Vishnu depicting him riding the Garuda, a divine bird that embodies justice, heroism, and royal authority. Should Archer be summoned under the Rider-Class, as a representation of his idealized, more heroic aspects, this Noble Phantasm would allow him to summon the Garuda himself as his mount. However, as his Archer form embodies his more "human" qualities, it takes a different form, namely a suit of armor Archer received from his people as a sign of gratitude following his decisive victory over the Srivijayan Empire.

While this suit of armor was nothing more than a simple (if not flashy) battle attire Archer wore in life, his semi-mythological connections to Garuda, as well as the ideals of countless people who stood by his side, has turned this armor into a powerful Noble Phantasm. According to legend, the Garuda was so massive that he could block out the sun with his wings whenever he descended from the heavens. True to this legend, this Noble Phantasm is only usable at daytime (and cannot be used in conjunction with his other Noble Phantasm, Kakawin Arjunawiwaha), during which the sunlight would dim as the armor emits a radiant glow. Rather than truly "blocking out" the sun, this armor instead absorbs sunlight and converts it into mana (based on Garuda's authority as a pseudo-sun deity, being the mount of the Hindu sun god Surya).

Donning this armor reinforces Archer's parameters and combat capabilities. Furthermore, by releasing the accumulated mana in a controlled manner, he gains access to Mana Burst (Light), which allows him to conjure weapons and projectiles from solidified sunlight, further increasing his versatility in battle. That said, this Noble Phantasm is not without its drawbacks. Donning this armor for a prolonged period of time inflicts a curse similar to Innocent Monster upon him. Gradually, Archer's character would be twisted to fit his people's idealized perception of him. The people never truly saw the depths of Archer's character, and the moral quandaries he faced. Instead, they only saw a fearless, valiant hero who liberated them from oppression and defeated the tyrannical king who oppressed him. While this image sounds great in theory, Archer despises it. He sees it as an oversimplification of his character; a one-note "hero" that overlooks the concept of nuance between good and evil, a topic which deeply plagued his mind throughout his life. Furthermore, this alteration to his character makes him extremely predictable to enemies; an overly-dramatic, yet simple-minded action hero you commonly see in pulp-era comic books and Saturday morning cartoons.

    Description
Archer's True Name is Airlangga, founder of the Javanese Hindu Kingdom of Kahuripan. A legendary Hero-King who defeated the Demon Queen Rangda and established a prosperous dynasty away from his homeland of Bali, one would expect Archer to be summoned in his prime, as a proud King with a wise outlook on life; someone who "has everything figured out". Yet due to certain memories and unresolved regrets, Archer prefers to be summoned in his younger years.

Despite his legendary status, Archer is a very carefree young man who never cared for concepts such as tradition and honor. This may be due to how he spent a considerable portion of his youth not as a member of royalty, but as a fugitive, where such concepts are meaningless. Due to these very same circumstances, he admires those who are willing to "rise from rock-bottom"; strong-willed individuals willing to fight for their convictions despite overwhelming odds. While he may not always agree with said convictions, he still considers them worthy of respect. Aside from that, it appears that Archer's frugal sensibilities from his fugitive days hasn't fully left him. While these sensibilities allow him to function as a hardened survivalist amidst difficult circumstances, in... less difficult situations, he has a habit of hoarding items and impulse-buying discounted items "just in case".

Deep down, Archer is an idealist. He wanted conflicts to end peacefully and with the least amount of bloodshed possible, no matter how naive he may sound. To this end, the topic of good and evil has always been a matter of great curiosity for him. A certain incident pertaining to the Cult of Durga left him constantly questioning the meaning of "justice" itself. Once, he willingly accepted his father's "justice" and defeated the Cult, establishing his status as a "hero", yet after knowing the truth behind the Cult... he wasn't so sure anymore. From then on, he became distrustful towards other people's definition of justice, believing that they are all too subjective and limited to base one's actions on, that there is always another side to every story that one does not know. Yet for all this distrust... Archer does not trust himself either. After all, as much as he hates to admit it, he is also human, and there is always a chance for him to overlook certain perspectives, or have certain biases that cloud his judgment. Essentially, Archer is someone who knows the importance of "fighting for good and defeating evil", yet he does not know the metric of what makes an action "good" or "evil".

Archer does not allow these questions to completely define him. He may ramble about the topic at times, and in less-serious situations, he may casually decide to side with the enemy "just to get a clearer perspective on the other side", but at the end of the day, he still prides himself as a dutiful Servant who would carry out most of his Master's orders regardless of his own feelings on the matter. He's even willing to play along with other forms of "justice" from time to time, though none of them ever fully sat right with him. Even so, these questions continue to gnaw at him at the back of his mind, like an itch you just can't scratch. While it is unlikely that he would attempt anything drastic, he remains silently critical towards the Master's actions, and he laments the fact that he can't know every little detail and relevant perspectives before deciding on a course of action.

Occasionally, Archer jokes on how having abilities such as clairvoyance or omniscience would make his life a whole lot easier. Yet if the opportunity ever arrives for him to wish upon the Grail, he would forego grand wishes such as reestablishing his empire or granting him the all-knowing prowess he not-so-secretly yearns for. Rather, he simply wishes for a chance to spend more time with his family. A second chance to understand them better, and perhaps prevent a certain tragedy from happening.

Lore (warning: long) (seriously, this is a full-length short novel) (might wanna get some popcorns while you read):
Airlangga (1000?-1049?) was a prince of the Balinese Kingdom of Varmadeva. After the Varmadeva dynasty fell to the invasion of the Srivijaya empire, he would go on to establish his own Kingdom of Kahuripan on the Island of Java. While there are numerous records of his exploits as King, much of his youth is shrouded in mystery, making it difficult for historians to differentiate between fact and folklore.

Act 1: Heir to the Golden Throne
Airlangga was born as the eldest son of the Balinese King Udayana and the Javanese Queen Mahendradatta. As any royal heir, he spent his early years in luxury, showered in the riches of the prosperous Varmadeva dynasty. He had a sister, Ratna Manggali, and two brothers, Makata Pangkaja and Anak Wungcu. His parents loved him, and his siblings looked up to him. All in all, life was good... until tragedy struck.

One day, Airlangga woke up to find his mother missing. He looked everywhere for her, only to find out that she had been punished to exile the previous night without his knowledge. The young prince confronted his father in search of answers. Yet the King simply stayed silent with a pained look on his face. He promised that he would one day tell the truth regarding what happened to the Queen, but as of now, the young prince should give up all hope of seeing his mother again. Apparently, she had committed a grave offense, one that even the King could not speak of. With a heavy heart, Airlangga accepted this answer, though a part of him still yearned for a proper explanation one day.

For the next few years, King Udayana groomed Airlangga to be the next heir to the throne. The young prince matured as he learned the principles of kingship, governance, and warfare. Yet at the same time, shadows began to emerge from the darkness. Gradually, they began to engulf the kingdom in tragedy and conspiracies. It all started from several suspicious deaths. Then slowly but surely, tragedies kept piling up, and the kingdom was struck by one horrifying disaster after another, from floods, pestilence, invasions from neighboring kingdoms, and more. Concerned for the people's well-being, Airlangga investigated these incidents, and from it, he concluded that they were all perpetrated by a singular group: The Cult of Durga; a mysterious group of fanatics who worshiped the terrifying Hindu war goddess Durga.

    Rangda's Mask (Source)

Following the King's orders, Airlangga spent the next few months piecing together clues to hunt down the cult. Finally, he found what he thought to be the cult's hideout deep inside the forest. Upon reporting this discovery, his father ordered him to command a large portion of the kingdom's soldiers to attack the hideout. And so the prince set out with his army to put an end to the cult... only for another tragedy to strike. Surprisingly, the hideout was empty... save for a single figure. A woman wearing a masked and ragged clothes, who introduced herself as the Demon Queen Rangda, leader of the Cult of Durga. The Demon Queen was surrounded, yet with just a flick of her finger, the soldiers surrounding her turned their blades upon themselves, taking their own lives. The young prince unsheathed his blade, prepared to cut down the Demon Queen... only for her to vanish after remarking on how clueless he truly is. Realizing what she truly meant. Airlangga immediately made his way back to the kingdom with his remaining soldiers... only to find the palace on fire. The King had been grievously wounded, and the princess missing. The King claimed that the cult launched an all-out attack during the army's absence. The princess had been abducted, and most likely killed. Sharing his father's grief, Airlangga understood that this is now personal. He would annihilate the cult and cut down the Demon Queen Rangda, no matter what it takes.

    Act 2: Evil-Slaying Hero
Eager to put an end to the evils of the cult, Airlangga enlisted the help of a sage named Mpu Barada and a divine beast known as Barong, a guardian deity of Bali. For months, the three looked for leads to no avail, and the prince began to grow desperate. One day, the kingdom received a formal invitation... the Demon Queen Rangda invited all eligible bachelors in Bali to take her daughter's hand in marriage. The three could only stare dumbfoundedly at the invitation. The whole thing reeked of an obvious trap, and unsurprisingly, not a single bachelor was willing to attend. At first, Airlangga considered throwing away the invitation, but Mpu Barada stopped him. According to the sage, they could use the Demon Queen's trap against her. After all, she saved them the trouble of looking for the cult. All they need is someone willing to play the part of an eligible bachelor, and Mpu Barada offered his disciple, Mpu Bahula, to take the position. Airlangga also told the two about Rangda's terrifying magecraft, which Barong responded that all of her power is a blessing from Durga, and the only thing maintaining her connection to Durga is the spellbook that she keeps with her at all times. Once that spellbook is taken from her, her powers should be greatly diminished. Now armed with a plan, the four of them set out for the Demon Queen's wedding ceremony.

The ceremony was a lively one. Festivities were held for seven days and seven nights, and the main event, the unveiling of the bride and the exchanging of vows, would be held on the final night. All sorts of lavish dishes were served at the event, and even the normally terrifying cultists treated Airlangga and his allies as esteemed guests. Even so, the four of them remained on guard, prepared for a trap to trigger at any moment. The four of them decided that the spellbook heist would be held on the final night. Mpu Bahula would exchange vows with the bride, Airlangga would keep an eye on the proceedings, while Mpu Barada and Barong would try to steal the spellbook while everyone else was distracted.

The final night finally came. The bride walked down the aisle, accompanied by the Demon Queen Rangda, still donning her unsettling mask. Airlangga subtly signaled his two allies to begin the heist. For a while, things seemed to go according to plan. The crowd was distracted, and the spellbook was completely unguarded. Feeling certain in his victory, Airlangga decided to sit back and enjoy the proceedings. As the pair exchanged vows, the bride unveiled her face...

It was his sister, the missing princess Ratna Manggali.
Shocked by his sudden turn of events, Airlangga racked his brain, trying to comprehend the situation.
He came across an even darker realization.

If his sister, the missing princess Ratna Manggali was the bride...
Then the Demon Queen Rangda, the evil that had terrorized Bali for the past few years, the leader of the Cult of Durga...
    It
    Co
    uld
    O
    nly
    Ha
    ve
    Bee
    n
    ...

Upon realizing this, Airlangga quickly signaled Barong and Mpu Barada to call off the plan.
    ...But it was too late.

The two had just gotten their hands on the tome, and apparently it was protected by a certain spell that alerted its wielder should it be removed from its resting place.

    ...Then all hell broke loose.

Realizing the plot, Rangda flew into a murderous rage. With a snap of her fingers, the spellbook returned to her hand, and she began conjuring spells to eradicate the interlopers.

The cultists began muttering incantations, and they grotesquely transformed into demonic entities known as Leyaks, surrounding the the prince and his three companions.

With no other option in sight, Airlangga decided to fight alongside his companions, despite the sinking feeling deep within his chest.

    Leyak (Source)

The heroes emerged victorious, if just barely. Yet the price of victory was high. Both Mpu Bahula and Ratna Manggali were killed during the struggle. Rangda was defeated, but not without conjuring a final curse that would befall Airlangga "in the not-so-distant future". Barong sacrificed himself to seal away Rangda's spirit. From then on, Barong and Rangda would be embroiled in an eternal conflict, as Bali's avatars of good and evil respectively.

Once the conflict was over, surrounded by countless bodies, Airlangga removed the mask on the Demon Queen's unmoving body.
...Sure enough, she was his mother, the exiled Queen Mahendradatta. Looking through her belongings, he came across her journal, detailing her perspective on her exile, how she founded the cult, and how she came to adopt the title of Demon Queen.

Afterwards, Airlangga returned to the kingdom, accompanied by Mpu Barada. They were regaled as heroes, saviors who destroyed the Cult of Durga and slayed the Demon Queen.

...Yet Airlangga did not feel like a hero.
He did not regret his actions, yet a part of him questioned if he truly did the right thing, and if he could have handled things better had he known about the Demon Queen- no, his mother's perspective earlier.

Act 3: The First Great Calamity

    Homecoming (Source)

Upon his return, King Udayana threw a grand party to celebrate his son's exploits.
Yet the young prince did not feel like celebrating. If anything, learning of the late Queen's perspective only gave birth to more questions.
Questions that the King should be able to answer.

And so Airlangga made his way to his father's side, ready to ask his first question, even if he may not like the upcoming answer.
    "Did you know..?"

The color immediately drained from the King's face. He coughed, struggling to form an answer.
Then an explosion shook the palace.
The first great calamity brought by Rangda's curse finally arrived.

    Invasion (Source)

Thousands of soldiers from the massive empire of Srivijaya had arrived at the kingdom's doorstep with their blades, bows, and siege weapons. With most of the kingdom's soldiers dead or recovering from their latest battle with the cult, not to mention the King having his guard down after the cult's demise, the kingdom found itself completely outmatched and unprepared for the invasion.

The invading soldiers massacred everyone in the palace. The King was slain, along with Airlangga's brothers. The young prince just barely managed to escape, thanks to the help of Mpu Barada.

The two fled without looking back, and the old sage mentioned that Airlangga's uncle, Dharmawangsa, was a King of the East-Javanese Kingdom of Medang. Surely he would be willing to take in his nephew after what happened.

Having decided their next course of action, the two made their way across the Balinese strait to the island of Java.

Act 4: The Second Great Calamity

    Royal Court of Medang (Source)

A few weeks later, they finally arrived at King Dharmawangsa's court. The King happily welcomed them with open arms. Since he did not have an heir, he was happy to name Airlangga as his successor. For the next few years, Airlangga served as his uncle's aide and learned from him, preparing himself for the grand title that King Dharmawangsa would trust him with in a few years' time. In time, King Dharmawangsa even introduced him to the daughter of an acquaintance, and the two were set to be married. Things finally went well. His uncle treated him kindly, he learned a lot by working beside the King and his associates, and he is set to be wed to a beautiful woman. After the tragic deaths and destruction he witnessed in his now-ruined homeland, Airlangga finally saw better days.

The day of Airlangga's wedding ceremony finally arrived. He walked down the aisle. Beside him, he saw his beautiful bride, and his uncle looked at him proudly, as the man who would inherit his title. Most stories would end here, with a happy ending for our hero after the hardships he faced.

...However, the story is not yet over.
    The second great tragedy struck.

King Wurawari of Lwaram, a vassal King serving under King Dharmawangsa, decided to rebel, backed by Srivijaya forces. His army decided to launch their all-out attack at that very night, when the entire kingdom was swept up in celebration. The relatively small Kingdom of Medang was no match for the sheer might of the Srivijayan army. Within a few hours, the wedding was turned into a horrifying bloodbath. A repeat of another bloody wedding that Airlangga had attended in the past, only the roles were switched. Once again, the Srivijayan army slaughtered everyone in the palace, including King Dharmawangsa and the bride-to-be.

And once again, Airlangga was just barely able to escape, accompanied by Mpu Barada and a retainer named Narottama. Doubt continued to fester within his heart. Why did he live? Since he was the one who crushed Rangda's ambitions, surely he should have been the one most deserving of death at the hands of her curse. Not the countless people who died pointlessly during the celebrations. Rangda must really want him to suffer, even after her death... and in a way, her hatred was justified, at least according to the prince. These tragedies were what she suffered, and only now could Airlangga understand her anguish. Perhaps he truly was at fault, to some extent.

With nowhere else to go, his kingdom and family lost, Airlangga fell into despair. He truly was at rock bottom, and he deserved every moment of it.

Finally understanding his mother's suffering, the prince took up his blade, the only thing he has left in his personage, and held it against his throat. This tragedy would finally end, and he could finally apologize to her on the other side.

His two retainers stopped him at the last second. They wrestled the blade from his hands, and convinced him that even if he could not make amends to his late mother, the people still needed him. They needed a hero to save them from King Wurawari's tyrannical grip over Java.

"I don't have any idea what heroism means anymore, but... I suppose that's the least I can do. No, after everything... I guess that's the only thing I can do at this point. For everyone who lost their lives during that siege."

Act 5: From Survivor to Founder

    On the run (Source)

Airlangga spent the next years of his life on the run with his two companions, hiding in the dark, tropical forests of Java to launch minor skirmishes against Srivijayan forces and liberate occupied territories, one camp at a time.

Gradually, their numbers grew, from displaced peasants, surviving soldiers of the fallen Kingdom of Medang, bandits and mercenaries, and more.

Circa 1030, Srivijaya began facing increasingly frequent raids from the massive Indian kingdom of Chola. Faced with this overwhelming opponent, most Srivijayan soldiers were reallocated to defend the capital at the island of Sumatra. This severely weakened Srivijaya's hold on other areas, including Java. Airlangga used this momentum to launch his attack at the Kingdom of Lwaram. With all the allies he had amassed, he secured a decisive victory and killed King Wurawari, the man responsible for the massacre at Medang.

From there, as Srivijaya crumbled, Airlangga established a new kingdom upon the war-torn lands of Java, the Kingdom of Kahuripan. He appointed both Mpu Barada and Narottama as his closest advisors, and he built monuments honoring his late family. For years, Airlangga ruled as a just king. According to records and monuments built in his honor, his wisdom, courage, and magnanimity is comparable to the likes of Arjuna and Vishnu themselves.

In his later years, Airlangga entrusted the throne to his two sons and left on an ascetic journey. Thanks to the guidance of his two retainers, the two kings of Kahuripan ruled justly, and the kingdom lasted for two more decades as the Kingdom of Kediri, until it fell at the hands of a certain other King wielding a cursed blade.

The prince could only remain silent. He could not understand any of it.

"I'd like you to promise me one thing, though." The Queen continued. "Once I'm gone... look after your sister for me, okay? You may not understand everything now, but as I said, the world is not such a kind place. Evil lurks everywhere, and perhaps the scariest thing is, it doesn't originate from ghosts, demons, or deities like Durga. No, the worst kind of evil... comes from the heart of man. So... please protect her from this darkness, won't you? She's innocent in all this, and I'm afraid with me gone... they'll find another monster to blame. Her. I-I wish I could have taken her with me, but I fear that would face her with even more danger. Let this end with me. Let me become the only monster here. Can you promise me that?"

The young prince looked at his mother, puzzled. This talk of evils, monsters, and the darkness... he couldn't understand any of it. And it infuriated him. Nonetheless, this is his mother's wish. As a son, fulfilling it would be the least he can do.

    "I promise."

    "Good. I love you, dear."

    ---

Prince Airlangga stood silently before the unmoving bodies of his mother and sister.
He gripped his blade tightly on one hand, its edge stained with blood.

    He won.
The Cult of Durga was no more.
    He was undoubtedly a hero.

Yet there was no triumph there.
No cheers nor glorious fanfare following his victory. Only silence.

"Is this... what heroism feels like?"

    Creator's Notes:
After a few months' worth of distractions and procrastination, I proudly present to you... another obscure Heroic Spirit from a region and era that virtually no one has ever heard of!

    - I wasn't lying when I said he had some similarities to my previous sheet, Lanzelet. The two are hopelessly naive, though that naivete took them down completely different paths. Lanzelet single-mindedly trampled over any sense of justice that differs from his own. Airlangga here... he's so afraid of making the wrong call that he refuses to act until he knows absolutely everything and everything, which is a futile endeavor on his part. Basically, he tries to do good, but he doesn't trust anyone's sense of justice, not even his own.

    - This is certainly one of my most ambitious projects yet. And here I thought Watcher Jack was ambitious. I mix-and-matched various sources together for his lore, including his actual historical feats (it's more complete in Indonesian), the legend of Rangda (this is a good read, I mainly used this source for Rangda's lore back then), the legend of Calon Arang (a Javanese version of Rangda's legend), and a few more minor folklores from them area.

    - Ever since Lanzelet, looks like I'm getting used to writing full-blown fics from scratch for the lore section. On one hand, I understand how it can considerably bloat the sheet. On the other, it's such a good opportunity to expand on his character even further, especially when I don't think the description section is enough. I doubt I'll be writing such stories for all my sheets, though. Just for a few of them that I believe could really use one. I'll still write shorter lore sections on most of my other sheets.

    - Well, that said, I hope you enjoy this one. I'll be retreating back to my cave to prepare for part 3. Hopefully I can get all of them out by Halloween.

Alhazen is really cool. The idea with with mystic eye camera is ingenious, great work

Airlangga: that is ambitious. Finally a multi sheet project from you, i am ready for the ride. Halloween even came early with some red weddings. I see the influence of Morgs style when you write the lore. And i am honored to rather took my Freud than your own as reference
Looking forward to see the whole thing play out

Glad you like him, Del. There's at least 2-3 more sheets incoming, so y'all better be ready.

Huh, I didn't even realize myself having influence from Morg's style. Looks like everyone here just learned to integrate each other's styles to their own sheets sometimes, to different extents, and I think that's a pretty amazing thing.

My own Freud was... something I put at the back of the shelf a long time ago .
He's far from my worst sheet here, and he did influence me to write Skinner (which I'm decently proud of) and Mesmer (which... could use some rework), but all in all, I just like your take on him more, not to mention his relationship with Jung.

First page of this thread is a compilation divided by region. look up india and you find your answer if servants were already made. scroll bit lower and there is an even bigger comp for CaS2.
Seems like not many Krishna sheets out there. Koga made one. Decide for yourself if it is to your liking.

"Gwahahaa, count yourself lucky for you've summoned the greatest magician of the new world! To think the superstitions of those lowly primitives were enough to grant me this new power, God truly does work in mysterious ways gwahahaha! Now, let us embark on my new and greatest voyage; to purify the world of heathens and bring forth a new Garden of Eden!"

    Servant Caster:

    Appearance:

    Source

True Name: Christopher Columbus "False Sorcerer of the New World"

    Alignment: Neutral Evil

    Alternate Classes: Lancer, Archer, Rider

Equipment: An astronomer's almanac, Bible and book of prophecies.

    Strength- D
    Agility- E
    Endurance- C
    Mana- B
    Luck- EX
    NP- B+

    Personality
Outwardly the same as his usual self, a boisterous and ambitious man who proudly proclaims that any dream is possible as long as you undertake the hard work needed to fulfill it. Conversely, he doesn't hesitate to trample underfoot the dreams of those who stand in the way of his own, deriding them as merely "inferiors".

Summoned as Caster he expresses surprise and amusement to have gained genuine magical power, laughingly stating that the superstitions of those "foolish primitives" are more impressive than he thought if they could grant him such power. Tasting the euphoria of magic has seemingly altered his demeanor somewhat, as now rather than only natives and foreigners he considers that all normal humans are "primitives" in comparison to him.

He fully believes that he's been chosen by God to carry out the "true" faith, of recolonizing the world to create a "paradise" where only magic-users are allowed to exist. Those without magic are merely "primitives" to be exploited as living resources to him. Put that way, it appears the ruthlessness he honed in subjugating the New World has now been broadened to include all humanity other than fellow magicians. Even so, he has no tolerance for "heretic" magicians who draw power from rival faiths, or reject his own ideology, disparaging them as having profaned the gift given to them by God which should only be used for spreading His true word.

Likes: spreading God's word, fellow magicians, unchartered lands
Dislikes: "heathens" and "primitives", those who question his holy work
    Talent: colonization
    Natural Enemy: Isabella I

    Class Skills:

    Territory Creation- C+
The ability to formulate a territory advantageous to oneself as a Magus. At this rank, Caster can create an "Encampment" for he and his men. Based on his history of colonizing foreign lands he gains a bonus to setting up his base within enemy occupied territory.

    Item Construction- C
Talent to craft items tinted with magical energy. Caster can create books which (empowered through the fear and reverence towards him) have been elevated to the level of genuine grimoires. Additionally, transfiguration of human body-parts (such as hands and tongues) into necromantic artifacts becomes possible. Albeit given his adamant Christian faith Caster will only ever rely on the remains of "inferiors" to do so. Surely, the Lord will forgive him putting the bodies of those "heathens" to use in spreading His glorious word.

    Personal Skills:

    Astronomical Magecraft (False)- C
A style of Magecraft that revolves around evoking the conceptual significance of celestial bodies like the stars and planets. While Caster possessed no true knack for the art in life, being merely an ordinary human with not a drop of magical lineage nor background amidst the Moonlit World, he obtains a (False) version thanks to the legend of skillfully deceiving the natives of Jamaica into believing he had supernatural powers to control the very moon. Caster can absorb Mana from distant stellar bodies to supplement his own as well as evoke different thaumaturgic effects based on which planets are visible in the night sky (for instance, casting a lightning-attack with Jupiter as the catalyst).

    Conquistador- EX
The Skill of one who had conquered the unchartered lands at the end of their voyages during the Age of Exploration. In Spain, it means "conqueror". Denotes the ability of invading, ruling, pillaging, and enslaving an undiscovered land. An ability tied to Caster's human rather than occultic reputation. Regardless of his embracing the mantle of a dubious sorcerer, the brutality and determination of one who first brought the New World to heel under Spanish dominance has not been dulled. Even if the list of targets has been broadened somewhat.

    Revelation- D+
The ability to "hear the voice of the heavens" and take optimal action. A Skill equivalent to Instinct; a sixth sense regarding battles, but Revelation accommodates all matters related to the achievement of a goal, such as choosing the swiftest path whilst travelling. Because there is no rational basis for it, it cannot be explained to others clearly.

The basis for this Skill lies in the
    Book of Prophecies
    El Libro de las Profecías
Caster wrote towards the end of his life, foretelling various world events such as the dominance of Christianity and (re)discovery of the Garden of Eden. However none of these predictions clearly came to pass and in the end they appear born more of dogmatic zeal than any true gift for prophesy. Nevertheless, Columbus' materialization in the Caster Class has resulted in his spurious esoteric abilities transforming into genuine ones, imbuing in him a scrap of true prophetic power.

By entering a manic trance where he begins to scribble wildly on a page, Caster may glean insight into occurrences up to a week into the future. However these predictions are really only accurate while concerning objects and beings of the Christian faith, veering astray when it comes to those that contradict his religion. The closer a particular entity is to Christendom the more accurate his divination will be. For instance the future of a holy relic or Heroic Spirit who championed the Christian faith could be foretold with relative accuracy, while normal humans who just happen to be Christian will be much vaguer in his visions, and non-Christians are entirely absent.

As such this Skill is actually of rather limited usefulness, but don't tell him that. Or do, he deserves it.

    Noble Phantasm
    Yemoja Blackout
Darkness, Swallow The Moon And Proclaim My Wrath

    Rank: B+

    Type: Anti-Territory/Anti-Team

A Noble Phantasm encapsulating one of the most iconic legends illustrating Caster's prudence and craftiness. When stranded in Jamaica and beset by angry natives he savvily exploited a convenient lunar eclipse to intimidate them into believing he was a sorcerer of godlike power so they'd continue supplying him rations. Combined with his rampant anecdotes of enslaving foreign lands and subjugating their very deities to his own, Caster has become able to draw on the authority of the West African moon goddess Yemoja, albeit in a corrupted form.

Upon invoking this Noble Phantasm's true name Caster establishes a Bounded Field enforcing the concept "blotting of the moon". The first and most apparent effect is that the sky within the Bounded Field is overlaid by an illusion that makes it appear a starry night with a lurid crimson moon looming overhead, regardless of what time of day it is in actuality. This false moon imparts a mid-level mental interference effect that instills feelings of reverence and dread in those gazing up at it.

However its full power reaches far beyond that. The moon personified in West African mythology is a nurturing feminine figure that symbolizes water, life and prosperity. As such this Noble Phantasm designates a domain where all those blessings imparted by the moon are forcibly withdrawn. Fields turn barren, rivers run dry and a deep piercing chill permeates the air that slowly ebbs away the vitality of any living humans caught within. In essence, creation of a
    Dead Yard
    land of death
. Naturally, other Skills, Magecrafts and Noble Phantasms that draw their potency from the moon are sealed unless ranked A or higher.

As "a fantasy great enough to paint over reality" and "the greatest sign that attests his divine power" this Noble Phantasm also significantly bolsters Caster's Astromancy, rendering him an equal to true veteran spellcasters from the Age of Gods. In that case he can cast an A-rank spell that uses the constellations in the night-sky as a giant magic-circle to rain beams of starlight upon his foes.

This Noble Phantasm has a key weakness that Caster does his best to hide from his foes. The false moon hanging in the sky serves as the lynchpin of this Bounded Field and if targeted by a sufficiently powerful attack (Anti-Army or higher) to destroy it the illusion of endless night will immediately crack apart and dissipate. Otherwise the only way to dispel this Noble Phantasm once deployed is to kill Caster himself or somehow placate him into withdrawing it. Caster can willingly spare a particular target of its most deleterious effects at the expense of taxing some of their Mana as long as they remain within.

So I finished an original writing project today (one of the reasons I haven't been as active on this forum) and so decided to celebrate by posting up a new Servant here. I mentioned the idea of a Caster Columbus a while back and finally felt inspired to write him up. Credit to DelRey for giving me the concept of tying his NP to the enslavement of foreign gods brought about by his conquests. As usual, comments and critiques would be welcome. Thanks for reading y'all!
