Thread: Create-A-Servant 3

  1. #2141
"Servant, lancer class! It is my pleasure to.... uh, Master, please don't stare at me like that, it makes me uncomfortable."

    Class: Lancer
    Name: Adonis
    Origin: Cyprus
    Source: Greek myth

    Height/weight: 181 cm / 67 kg
    Gender: Male
    Alignment: Chaotic/Neutral
    Likes: Hunting, Punk Rock
    Dislikes: Vegetables, Paternalism
    Natural enemies: Atalanta, Emiya
    Attributes: Human
    Armament: Spear
    Catalyst: Anemone flower

    Parameters:
    STR - D
    END – C
    AGI - C
    MGI - B
    LCK – D
    NP – B

    Class Skills
Magical resistance: A – Under the careful eye of Aphrodite, he is protected from all but the most transcendent forms of magic.
Divinity: D – While he certainly evolved from a god, there is no doubt he is now as mortal as any other human.

    Personal skills
Affection of the Goddess: EX – Lancer is the greatest treasure and beloved consort of Aphrodite. She would do anything to be with him again even though she cannot bear to see him befall the same tragic fate.
Golden Rule (Body): EX – Lancer possesses beauty said to foment jealousy in the gods themselves. His body is a treasure coveted by gods and goddesses alike.
Aphrodisiac: B – As a result of being associated with fine fragrances and perfumes, this passive ability causes those who spend their time in proximity to Lancer to develop affections.

    Lore
Adonis existed as a corollary to Aphrodite. Adonis’ birth was a curse by Aphrodite and his death was a curse on Aphrodite. He was the product of an abominable relation. His mother, Myrrha, boasting of her fabulous beauty to rival the gods, was cursed by Aphrodite with uncontrollable lust for her own father, a king in Cyprus. This forced her to deceive her father into consummating this union. After discovering the truth, her father sought to have Myrrha killed, driving her to flee from Cyprus bearing the unborn Adonis. Aphrodite, pitying the despondent woman, freed her from her torment by converting her into a Myrrh tree. Adonis emerged from this tree six months later. The baby boy’s beauty made him precious to Aphrodite and she carried him in a protective box, like an heirloom, to be cared for by Persephone in the Underworld. There he could mature safe from any of the fatal dangers faced in the world of mortals.

As Adonis matured, he grew exponentially in beauty. When Aphrodite returned to retrieve him, she became entirely captivated upon seeing him. However, Persephone had also become enchanted by the young man. Persephone refused to allow Aphrodite to return from the Underworld with Adonis. Since she had raised him, he should remain as her consort. This feud intensified such that it had to be arbitrated by the king of the gods. Zeus decreed that Aphrodite would have Adonis for one third of the year, Persephone would have him for one third, and that Adonis would spend the remaining with whoever he chose. Taken in the charms of the goddess of love, he chose to spend that third with Aphrodite.

Although Adonis could now experience the world of mortals, Aphrodite closely guarded her consort. She could not stop him from developing a passion for hunting, though. He became a hunter skilled enough to garner the jealousy of Artemis. Adonis sought out more and more dangerous prey, much to Aphrodite’s distress. His desire to break out of his sheltered care-taking would be his downfall. Ares, goaded by Persephone, was enraged with jealousy and took the form of a boar to confront Adonis during a hunt. Aphrodite, sensing the danger, flew to find Adonis but was too late. The boar had already slain the young hunter. While cradling his body in her arms, her tears mixed with his blood and bloomed into flowers. In the end, it was Persephone who would take sole possession of Adonis.

    Description
During his life, Lancer was treated more as a treasure rather than a person. As such, like a fine piece of art, he was coveted and kept out of common view. The divine protection he was shown was not for his sake, but rather the result of the cravings of gods and goddesses. His was not given value, only his body. Thus, Adonis was never allowed to dream. The only concession was hunting, Adonis’ only pleasure solely for himself. It was the one thing Adonis took for himself. It was not that he was not as headstrong as other youths, but instead that his sheltered upbringing left him with almost nothing to be obstinate about. If anything, Adonis was alone, only ever having the company of the ancient, dour souls of the Underworld or of immortal and transcendent deities. Ironically, being summoned as a servant is then Lancer’s only chance to truly live the life of a mortal.

Upon summoning, Lancer shows his master the deference he would show to any god or goddess. Though he is used to being taken advantage of for his beauty, he is apparently unable to find his way out of it. He is shy about people staring at him and wholly obedient, trusting that his master has designs beyond what he can imagine. However, upon discovering the vastness of the world of mortals populated by people like him, an individual sense of will grows inside him. Initially desiring nothing from being a heroic spirit other than the chance to serve and experience a few more brief moments of life, he develops a wish to have another chance at life, one where he is free to dream, to take risks, and to discover his passions that were unknown to him in his life. This void of world experience is likely to cause his tragic downfall, though, as it did once before.

    Noble Phantasm

Name: Aphrodite Areia – The Beauty at War
    Type: Anti-Unit
    Rank: C
Though commonly regarded as a goddess of beauty, it is foolish to neglect the darker side of Aphrodite’s character. In some cases, she was known as “the Merciful” while others referred to her as “the Gravedigger.” This spear represents her capacity for war. It is an armament forged on her behalf by Hephaestus. When Lancer went hunting, the goddess accompanied him to keep him from harm. She ensured that he used this as his hunting lance, leading to his great renown as a hunter. The spear has a pair of dove wings protruding from one end, giving it the appearance of a large arrow. When thrown, these wings accelerate the spear and can even cause it to change direction. Being a mortal, Lancer cannot wield the full power of this weapon, so it is downgraded in rank while in his possession. He does not have full control over it. It may fly out of his hand without warning to deflect a surprise projectile or defend against an ambushing enemy. Indeed, it seems the weapon almost has a mind of its own…

Name: Kepoi Adonidos – Lamentations of Venus
    Type: Anti-Army
    Rank: B
As Lancer’s one true Noble Phantasm, it too is inseparable from Aphrodite. It is the manifestation of his death where the goddess’ mourning that produced the Anemone, or windflower. This flower, like Lancer, blooms momentarily with a peak of beauty before being scattered to the wind. For many centuries, women mimicked Aphrodite every year by growing gardens of these flowers and pouring out tears for the fallen consort. The celebration and mystery of this festival has strengthened the concept of Lancer’s death, so that retribution may be had against his enemies. When Lancer’s blood is drawn, his blood is immediately mixed with the tears of Aphrodite, who cannot bear to see her consort endure further suffering. From his blood, red flowers will bloom to be scattered to the wind. Lancer can direct the wind, creating a storm of flower petals to use against his enemy. The petals, dead and hardened, impact like a hail of razors. The more dangerous the injury to Lancer, the more deadly this attack becomes. The death of Lancer, then, is something neither enemy nor lover should wish to behold.

    No, not ag...ain....

With his dying breaths, he calls out to the first he met, who pulled him out of the tree of his birth. The maternal lover whose destiny he always followed and who never let him leave her sight. From his mangled corpse, a golden light begins to glow and sea foam emerges from the ground around him..

Aphrodite knew that Adonis would not abide her guarding him forever. How could he be considered a hero if his mere handful of deeds were cast under the shadow of the goddess? No, he was determined to carry out the duties of a heroic spirit on his own free from any divine sheltering. He had forced himself to be naïve, choosing to believe he would not meet that disastrous inevitable fate. For her part, Aphrodite could not ignore the chance to be with her beloved in the mortal world even if he did not know she was with him. She had been Adonis-starved for millennia. Just one day to behold the visage of his beauty would be enough, or so she told herself. Even in her inhibited state, she could not restrain herself against using her dove wings to defend her consort or against shedding tears at his suffering. Her shackles, stressed to the limit, shatter upon hearing Adonis cry her name with his dying breaths.

Aphrodite manifests in anguish so that he can know that she is there, but his consciousness has already passed. The windflowers are already blooming. In these, Adonis’ spiritual core, the one thing anchoring Aphrodite to this world, lingers. A flash of wrath consumes her. She is angry at everyone, all those who desire either her or him for themselves, sealing their destiny of separation. The spearpoint of her fury, however, is directed at herself. By her curse on Myrrha, she had cursed herself. Despite her endeavors, fate was determined to punish her and had created Adonis for that purpose. She lamented that his life was reduced to that sole function. Ironically, now it was her manifestation in the world that was a footnote to Adonis’ as a servant and hers would be even more fleeting. Nevertheless, as retribution against others was her forte, she would exert everything towards her futile effort of quenching her insatiable hatred.

    Class: Avenger
    Name: Aphrodite

    Gender: Female
    Alignment: Chaotic/Neutral
    Natural enemies: Ares, Artemis, Persephone
    Attributes: Heaven

    Parameters:
    STR – D
    END – C
    AGI - B
    MGI - EX
    LCK – A+
    NP – A+

    Class Skills
Avenger: A – Infamous for punishing those who anger her, negative emotions only strengthen her vindictiveness.
    Oblivion Correction: B
Divine Core of the Goddess: A – She is summoned on her own will but has lowered her divinity to do so.

    Personal skills
Manifestation of Beauty: EX – The divine concept of beauty, it is immensely terrifying and yet one cannot help but be drawn in by it.
Adonia: C – She is summoned as a footnote to Adonis’ spiritual core, which now only resides in the flowers blooming from his blood. Thus, her period of vengeful mourning will last until those flowers wither and scatter. Then, she too will fade from the world.
Aphrodisiac: EX – The very word derives from the name of this goddess. The fragrance that surrounds her, however, more so induces intense feelings of foreboding.

    Noble Phantasm

Name: Aphrodite Areia – The Beauty at War
    Type: Anti-Unit
    Rank: B+
Wielded by its true owner, this weapon is an extension of the goddess herself. It is her thunderbolt of Zeus which will hunt down the participants in the Holy Grail War. Used under the Avenger class, it gains an extra ability. For every drop of blood Adonis spilled, this lance will draw tenfold that amount from the wounds it inflicts. Even being grazed by it is like being smothered by a toxic lover as it drains life itself from the victim.

Name: Kestos Himas – The Golden Potnia
    Type: Anti-Mind
    Rank: A+
Aphrodite’s most famous divine construct is her embroidered girdle. Those who merely look upon it, the core of her divine beauty, are destined to submit to her authority. Their love, lust, and desires stand by for her command. It dooms the victim to a fate of being reduced to an instrument of Aphrodite’s vengeful judgement. The power to control one’s carnal desires invites the potential for a horrifically poetic and individually tailored punishment. It may drive one through madness down a road to murder or suicide. For the unprepared, it is impossible not to succumb to the effects of this weapon. Mental fortitude or defenses can offer some resistance, however.

I remembered I had this thing collecting dust in my docs, so I decided to do some work and finish it up. Beware, it's really dumb.

    Class: Rider
    True Name: Kaiser Rin
    Alignment: Chaotic Tohsaka
    Attribute: Earth

    Spoiler:
A younger Rin Tohsaka from an alternate history where Servant battles became reduced to simple miniature monster fights. After defeating some of the best (and worst) players of CapSaba, she was drawn into the machinations of the evil Dimensional Empire MATO, who sought to conquer other parallel worlds.

After defeating the forgettable tutorial boss General Shinji, she then managed to somehow take control of MATO, now directing it as she sees fit. She now travels the parallel worlds looking for more universes to conquer, and new challengers to defeat at CapSaba!

    “Hey, this is pretty fun!”

“How did it end up like this?”

    Parameters
    Strength
    : D
    Endurance: D
    Agility: B
    Mana: A
    Luck: E

    Class Skills

    Magic Resistance
    : D
Resistance equivalent to one granted by a magic amulet. Can only negate spells of one verse or less.

    Riding: -
Due in part to the fact that Rider is too young to get a liscense, this skill is effectively not used.

    Personal Skills
    Spoiler:

Big Sister Will Handle It! : A

A unique skill that was made to replace Rider’s nonexistent riding ability. A charisma born from the skill and confidence of an elegant older sister, allowing her to guide and order around her sibling with skill not dissimilar to that of an expert battlefield commander.

Even though they may have grievances with each other, and a family situation straight out of a melodrama, the two sisters will never stop caring for each other. So the younger will still go along with Rider’s whims even as she cries about the situation going out of control.

    Essentially, a Counter-Sakura skill.

    Imaginary Around Drill: C

Armament of GS-02 Dark Sakura, a drill shaped lance coated with a twisted Imaginary Number space. It can be used in close range or launched as a burrowing torpedo weapon, being super effective against spiritual existences. Surprisingly versatile, and effective at bypassing enemy defenses.

    Darkside Moon Tomahawk: E

Bladed armament of GS-03 BB Sakura. Despite being named a tomahawk, it's actually a shapeshifting scepter that can appear as a war axe or a scythe. It's a hacker-type Mystic Code that is very potent in performing magecraft in digital spaces, but is otherwise only good for hitting people over the head, or a one turn Stun debuff.

    Noble Phantasm
    Spoiler:

My Little Sisters Are The Strongest In The Universe!
    G-Sakura Battle Series

    Rank: B++
    Type: Anti-Fortress

    Ultimate Weapon S Combat Series.

Rider’s beloved, estranged younger sister from a parallel universe. Because of various circumstances, she and her father, Professor Tokiomi, were captured by the Dimensional Empire MATO’s ruling family, and she was altered into a giant superweapon. Following Rin’s takeover of MATO, two super robots were built using her data as a base, along with certain personality permutations to optimize their abilities, leading to the formation of the unstoppable “Ultimate Younger Sister” trio.

Each individual G-Sakura has differing abilities and specializations, and so we'll do the audience the favor of listing them out.

    GS-01! Gigantic Sakura:

The original model, and the one that hogs 90% of the screen time. She excels at on the ground, close range, hand-to-hand wrestling situations, while also possessing a potent Anti-Kaiju class Sakurium Beam! She's the protagonist who does all the work, but gets sidelined in favor of the more easily marketable characters.

“Why'd you have to say it like that!?”

    GS-02! Black Sakura:

The Sakura that excels at nautical warfare, she employs her Imaginary Around Drill and powerful Shadow Arms to thrash her enemies! Despite being physically more of a Number 2, she's actually more of a Number 3 type of mecha who always gets pushed to the side, and ultimately is pretty helpless.

    “Do you wish to die?”

    GS-03! BB Sakura:

The aerial type Sakura weapon, she's not so secretly a villain who will betray the team in the last third of the show to justify the overcompensating toy design that comes with two different colored beam effect parts. She also ends up getting the show censored in the US release, forcing loyal subs-only fans to pay a premium to watch the original series intact.

“Huuuuuuuuh, no one likes a jerk who spoils plot twists like that!”

Due to covering all possible terrain and ranges, this team is absolutely invincible!

    … Well, not really.

Because of gameplay limitations, only GS-01 will actually be usable, and GS-02 and 03 will be relegated to mediocre Skills with costly level up materials, and only appear in Rider’s flashy attack animations.

    Archer of the Eastern Steppes
    "
Servant Archer, at your service! ...Or so I'd like to say, but honestly, I don't see the point of drawing my bow when I can just, y'know... punch them in the face. How many Archers actually use bows anyway? Pretty sure it's like an unspoken rule by now that the Archer class aren't made of- Hm? What's with that look, Master? Were you expecting a dainty little princess? Oh, you'll be pleasantly surprised to know that I'm much better than that."

    Source

"By the way, do you have a change of clothes? Something more casual, maybe? These royal robes are nice and all, but it's kinda hard to fight in them. Not to mention, all this gaudiness reminds me of that stuck-up princess some people remembered me as. Jeez, seriously, just how did they get my characterization so wrong!?"

    Class: Archer
    Other Classes: Rider, Caster
    True Name: Khutulun
    Alignment: Chaotic Good
    Origin: Mongolia (13th century)

    Parameters:

    STR: B+
    END: C+
    AGI: A+
    MGI: D
    LCK: B
    NP: B+

Likes: Freedom, finding new things, fighting
Dislikes: Royal obligations, arrogant people, her "other self"
Talent: Wrestling, archery, riding, surpassing expectations
Natural Enemy: Turandot, Walt Disney, Giacomo Puccini, François Pétis de la Croix
Armament: Fists, bow and arrow, dagger
    Catalyst: Her ceremonial robes

    Class Skills
    Independent Action (B)

The ability to remain independent even when rejecting the Magical Energy supply from one's Master; the ability that allows for action even in the absence of the Master. It is possible for Archer to stay in the world for two days without a Master. However, this is the ideal value achieved by maximally conserving mana, avoiding battle and Noble Phantasm usage. Born and raised on the wild Mongolian steppes, Archer is a master survivalist, able to conserve energy for extended periods of time without receiving mana from her Master.

    Magic Resistance (C)

Grants protection against magical effects. Differing from the Resistance effect that merely rejects Magical Energy, this ability cancels the spells altogether. Cancel spells with a chant below two verses. Cannot defend against magecraft on the level of High-Thaumaturgy and Greater Rituals.

    Riding (B)

A Skill denoting the ability to ride mounts and vehicles. Most vehicles and animals can be handled with above average skill, even vehicles that did not exist in the time period one was alive in, for they are no exception. However, cannot ride the likes of Phantasmal Species such as Monstrous Beasts. Due to her culture and upbringing, Archer is especially skilled at handling horses. Incidentally, she is also summoned with her horse despite her class container, simply because according to her, "separating a Mongol from their horse is like separating a fish from water".

    Personal Skills
    Marksmanship (Mangudai) (A)

As expected of her class, Archer is skilled with her bow. Yet as a Mongol, her talents lie far beyond that. As any Mongolian warrior, Archer was taught how to ride a horse before she could walk, and how to wield a bow before she could write. By the time she reached her teenage years, she was an experienced warrior, and her father entrusted her to lead a unit of mangudai, an elite group of Mongolian cavalry archers serving as vanguards to their armies. Thus, this Skill denotes Archer's proficiency at wielding her bow on horseback, allowing her to perform trick shots, quick draws, and accurately hit fast-moving targets from a great distance away.

    Wrestling Princess (A)

Archer's most famous feat. It was said that she refused to marry, insisting that any suitor desiring her hand in marriage must be able to defeat her in wrestling. Hundreds of men challenged her, each suitor offering her 100 horses for the right of challenging her in single combat. Yet most of these suitors underestimated her fighting prowess, which turned out to be a fatal mistake. Eventually, Archer gathered a herd of around ten thousand horses from would-be suitors, all while remaining unmarried. A testament to her strength and proficiency in close combat, Archer's strength, endurance, and agility receives a temporary rank up whenever she engages in close-quarters, single combat. Furthermore, based on how horses were considered valuable commodities for Mongolians, this Skill also allows Archer to "take something of value" with every victory. Here, the definition of "value" may differ according to her foe. For some, she may steal one rank from their highest-ranked parameter, while for others, she may receive certain valuable items, seal certain personal Skills, or even Noble Phantasms. These effects can be reversed by defeating her in single combat.

    Knowledge of Melee Combat (B)

A methodology regarding crowd-combat in which friends and foes are all jumbled together. Not the ability to take command of a military force, but combat techniques to persevere as a single warrior within the troops of an army. Archer excels in using the chaos of the battlefield to her advantage. According to a certain famous explorer, she could "single-handedly ride into enemy ranks and snatch a captive as easily as a hawk snatches a chicken".

    Innocent Monster (E)

An attribute possessed by Servants whose true history and existence have been distorted by the monstrous reputations and gossips they accrued across the course of their life and thereafter, without concern for the actual person's will or appearance. As a consequence, the Servant's abilities and appearance have been rendered to conform to the specifications of their legend. Due to inaccurate retellings of her life, as well as a certain 20th century opera, Archer's legend has been partially conflated with that of a cruel princess who challenged her suitors with three impossible riddles and executed anyone who failed her challenge. That said, this Skill's rank is low due to there still being a relatively clear distinction between the two. At most, this Skill allows her to use her second Noble Phantasm, as well as granting her qualifications to be summoned under the Caster-class, albeit not as herself...

    Noble Phantasm(s)
Shine Brighter and Surpass All, O Distant Comet
    Etsgiin Gereeslel

    Type: Anti-Unit
    Rank: B++
    Range: 5-99
    Max Targets: 1

"Your next line is: "There's no way you can defeat me! I'm invincible!" I've heard it all before, so screw all that! I'm gonna defeat you anyway!"

Throughout her life, Archer was known for constantly defying expectations. At first, none expected her to be more than a woman whose only role was to get married and become a dutiful wife, yet she continued to reject her suitors, none of them able to surpass her in battle. Even then, none expected her to be more than a princess used to secure political alliances, only for her to lead armies into battle as a warrior on the front lines. Finally, none expected her to surpass her previous feats and become more than a warrior princess... only for her father to appoint her as the next Khan in his last will, despite protests from her brothers (during a time where a woman doing anything outside of household affairs was utterly unthinkable). While she never got to become Khan in the end, nonetheless, her legend became a tale of surpassing limits and never giving up against adversity.

This Noble Phantasm is a crystallization of her life, imbued with the concept of "destroying assumptions and surpassing expectations". Upon invoking it's True Name, Archer marks a target and releases a single arrow of light towards their direction. For this Noble Phantasm's effects to work, the target must directly witness Archer invoking the True Name and releasing the arrow. Once the conditions are met, the arrow takes into account the target's assumptions and expectations, and modifies its characteristics specifically to counter them. For example, a target thinking "the arrow will miss" would grant it sure-hit properties, "I can block it with my Skill/Noble Phantasm" would grant it barrier-piercing effects, and "it can't possibly hurt that bad" would greatly increase its damage output. Furthermore, this Noble Phantasm's damage also increases the more the target believes there to be a gap in power between themselves and Archer.

As a Noble Phantasm made specifically to counter hubris and exploit weaknesses, the only way to escape its effects would be to treat Archer as an equal in combat, accepting that no matter how unlikely it may seem, Archer will be able to stand on the same level as her enemies, if not higher. In which case, this Noble Phantasm would only serve as a flashy, if not decently powerful projectile. In a sense, this Noble Phantasm is a "great equalizer" of sorts, allowing Archer to prevail against seemingly impossible odds, the same way she lived her life.

None Shall Sleep Until Your Name is Known
    Nessun Dorma

    Type: Anti-City
    Rank: C-
    Range: 1-500
    Max Targets: 500

"Man, I'd really hate to use this, but I guess you've proven yourself worthy, so I can let loose a bit. Not that I enjoy it, though."

A Noble Phantasm not belonging to Archer herself, rather, to the cold-hearted princess Turandot. Archer gains access to this Noble Phantasm due to being the historical basis of Turandot's legend. Turandot was known for challenging her suitors with three impossible riddles, executing anyone who failed to answer them. As tales of her infamy spread across the land, eventually, one prince appeared before her in disguise and managed to solve her riddles, Unwilling to accept her loss, Turandot threatened to execute the prince, only for him to come up with a challenge of his own: guess his name before sunrise. And so Turandot forced every citizen in her kingdom to partake in this challenge and obtain the prince's name through any means possible, ranging from diplomacy and bribery to violent threats and witch hunts. Not a single citizen may sleep on that fateful night (nessun dorma) in search of the prince's name, or they will all be put to death come morning. Turandot essentially held the entire kingdom hostage in pursuit of her victory.

There are several requirements for this Noble Phantasm's activation, in order to bring her legend closer to Turandot's:
    1. It must be nighttime.
    2. Archer must mark one target with an identity unknown to her. This can range from enemy Servants by mentioning their class ("Rider") to other individuals that she encountered before ("Rider's Master").
    3. Archer must consider the target her equal, or she must have "lost" to them at some point. Usually this condition is fulfilled if they survived her first Noble Phantasm, of if they defeated her in single combat.

When all three conditions are fulfilled, Archer can release this Noble Phantasm's True Name. By doing so, she establishes a bounded field enough to envelop a small district, and the moon turns red, symbolizing Turandot's brutal legacy. Save for the target themselves, everyone within this bounded field is inflicted with a type of mass hysteria that drives them to obtain the target's identity at any cost. While their methods may vary at first, as dawn approaches, they will gradually be filled with an underlying sense of dread that leaves them more prone towards reckless, violent actions. A mental resistance Skill ranked C or higher is required to resist this madness.

Two things may happen at the end of this Noble Phantasm:
    1. If the target's name becomes known before sunrise, the bounded field is dispelled and the target suffers a permanent rank down to all parameters whenever they face Archer in combat, symbolizing her absolute superiority over them.
    2. If the target's name remains unknown at sunrise, Archer drains massive amounts of mana from all her "citizens", symbolizing her putting everyone to death. At the same time, she is also penalized with the same rank down to all parameters when facing her target.

Despite its terrifying effects, Archer is extremely reluctant to use this Noble Phantasm due to her hatred towards Turandot, as well as her personal philosophy of fighting her own battles, which differentiates her from the infamous princess. The negative modifier may represent her partially suppressing this Noble Phantasm's range and effectiveness, consciously or not. That said, this Noble Phantasm's true power may be released if one summons Archer under another class, not as a warrior princess, but as Turandot herself.

    Description
Archer's True Name is Khutulun, a Mongolian princess, wrestler, and warrior.

Archer can be best described as a carefree, almost airheaded young girl without a single worry in the world. Due to her upbringing as a princess, combined with her natural disposition, she has a tendency to be completely honest and speak her mind in a forthright manner, even if her words may unintentionally come off as tactless or hurtful. Her innate curiosity also drives her to constantly ask questions about the world around her, even during inappropriate times ("If I kill Heracles with say, a flaming arrow, does that count as taking one life due to the arrow, or two lives due to both the arrow and the flames? Which cause of death would even take precedence, anyway?" "ARCHER, RUN, HE'S SUPER PISSED AND GAINING ON US").

Archer acknowledges that the privileges she enjoyed as a princess helped her become who she is today. Not everyone can afford to be as carefree as she is, not everyone can speak their mind freely and pursue their dreams the same way Archer did hers. It's for this reason that Archer generally dislikes "pretty princesses who spend every day just sitting around on their throne", those who hold a position of power without ever using that power to fully pursue their dreams or help their people. To her, these people are "wasting their privileges", something she cannot imagine any good person should be doing. Of course, the one she hates most of all is none other than Turandot, her fictional counterpart and complete antithesis. By extension, she also hates those who "created" Turandot for butchering her character and turning her into everything she stands against.

Archer enjoys the same things she did in life; wrestling, roaming the plains on horseback, and finding out new things. When it comes to wrestling, she continues to challenge others to single combat, and while she may not always emerge victorious faced with humanity's strongest heroes, she shows a great willingness to learn and even integrate their techniques into her own. While she prefers her duels to be held fair and square, she's not above using dirty tactics ("Pocket sand, go!" or "Look! What's over there!? Ha, you fell for it! Sucker punch!") in more serious or dire situations, acknowledging that these things are necessary in a time of war.

Archer does not have any specific wish for the Grail, simply wishing to do the same things she enjoyed in life. Yet if the opportunity ever arrives, she would most likely wish for the erasure of Turandot, or for all the historians and playwrights after her time to get her characterization right. By doing so, perhaps future generations would remember her more for her feats in battle rather than the "nonsensical fairytale princess" Turandot was known for.

    Lore
Khutulun (c. 1260 - c. 1306) was a Mongol princess, wrestler, and warrior. She was the daughter of Kaidu, a cousin of Kublai Khan.

Khutulun was born about 1260. By 1280, her father Kaidu became the most powerful ruler of Central Asia, reigning in the realms from western Mongolia to Oxus, and from the Central Siberian Plateau to India. Marco Polo described Khutulun as a superb warrior, one who could ride into enemy ranks and snatch a captive as easily as a hawk snatches a chicken. She assisted her father in many battles, gaining fame not just as a princess, but also as a competent military leader. This made her into somewhat of a local diva as her suitors came in droves, ranging from local nobles seeking strategic political alliances to warriors genuinely impressed by her combat prowess. Despite all that, Khutulun was reluctant to get married, and so she insisted that any man who wished to marry her must defeat her in wrestling. To challenge her, the suitors must present her with one hundred horses as dowry paid in advance, only to be returned should they emerge victorious. Perhaps unsurprisingly, none managed to defeat her, and she amassed a horde of more than one hundred thousand horses.

Sources vary about her husband's identity. Some chronicles say her husband was a handsome man who failed to assassinate her father and was taken prisoner, while others refer to him as Kaidu's companion from the Choros clan. Rashid al-Din wrote that Khutulun fell in love with Ghazan, a Mongol ruler residing in Persia.

Of all Kaidu's children, Khutulun was his favorite, and the one from whom he most sought advice and political support. According to some accounts, he tried to name her as his successor to the khanate before he died in 1301. However, his choice was declined due to her male relatives. When Kaidu died, Khutulun guarded his tomb with the assistance of her brother Orus. While she never became Khan, she continued to live the rest of her life freely on the Mongolian steppes as a trusted military commander within the khanate until her death in 1306.

Khutulun is thought to be the basis for the character of Turandot, who has been the subject of a number of Western works. While in Mongol culture she is remembered as a famous athlete and warrior, in Western artistic adaptations she is depicted as a proud woman who finally succumbs to love. François Pétis de la Croix's 1710 book of Asian tales and fables contains a story in which Khutulun is called Turandot, a Persian word (Turandokht توراندخت) meaning "Central Asian Daughter", and is the nineteen-year-old daughter of Altoun Khan, the Mongol emperor of China. In Pétis de La Croix's story, however, she does not wrestle her suitors, and they do not wager horses; rather, she has them answer three riddles, and they are executed if they cannot solve them.

    Relationships
Li Shuwen, Quetzalcoatl, St. Martha (Ruler), Zhou Tong:
"Welp, there goes my champion's belt. Unfortunately, none of you are my type, sorry for that! Then again, you all had some interesting moves up your sleeves, so I'd love to learn more about those!"

    Karna (Santa):
"So you became a Saber because your fists are comparable to a sword... I wonder if I can do the same. Wait, if I punch super quietly and knock out my enemies with one hit, does that mean I'd qualify as an Assassin!? Yeah, that must be it! Pretty sure that bajiquan old man did something similar to that. Alright, I've decided my next goal! I'm gonna learn to punch someone very, very quietly! Maybe I can be a Santa or a swimsuit Servant as well that way!"

    Scheherazade:
"A ruthless king who executed anyone who failed to entertain him... That must've been scary."

    Wu Zetian, Queen of Sheba:
"Sorry, it's nothing personal, but you remind me a little too much of 'her'. I hope you don't mind if I keep my distance to deal with some, er... misplaced feelings."

    Genghis Khan:
"Aah, it's my great grandpa! I heard stories of your adventures as a kid, and every kid in my village wanted to be just like you when they grow up! So this is what it feels like to meet your greatest idol..."

    Marco Polo, Rashid al-Din Hamadani:
"Yeah, so in the end, I never got married after all. Not to some random assassin, to my dad's friend, to Ghazan, or to anyone else. Not that I care, though. In fact, romance is still the very last thing on my mind right now. Not when there's still so many things in this world I haven't seen yet. I'm sure you can understand the sentiment."

    Hua Mulan, Pocahontas:
"So they got you too, huh... To have tales of your valiant struggles twisted and reduced into these so-called 'romance'... I don't think I've seen this Disney guy before, but he sounds like a prick."

Giacomo Puccini, François Pétis de la Croix, Walt Disney:
"Not every story needs to be tied with this neat bow you call 'romance', you idiots! In fact, it comes out kinda forced when you do it!"

    Turandot:
"Jeez, this is exactly why I hate you! You have all that power and authority, people would kill to be in your position! Yet what do you do with all that!? You spend your days doing nothing on your throne! Things only got worse when you start executing people left and right for failing to answer your riddles! Seriously, what the hell do you want to do with your life!? Being evil for the sake of evil is just stupid! BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE! Then you suddenly fell in love with this random prince you met for like, two days after spending one day trying to kill him! THAT MAKES NO FREAKING SENSE! Seriously, this is why I hate forced romance stories..."

    Creator's Notes/Fun Facts
I'm kind of in an inspiration drought here, but I guess she turned out pretty well. Might be a while before my next sheet, though.

    - That first NP is a perfect embodiment of an enemy saying "You can't defeat me!" only for Archer to respond with "How about I do anyway~?". It'd be fun to imagine her completely blindsiding someone with a massive ego like Gilgamesh with this NP.

    - Despite her statement about a Mongol and their horse being inseparable, Archer is more than happy to beat the everliving shit out of her enemies with her fists alone. Imagine an enemy managing to separate her from her horse and break her bow... only for her to smile and crack her knuckles... That's when the enemy knows they screwed up.

    - An older concept I had of her was a sukeban-type girl who comically tries (and fails) to imitate Turandot's arrogant ojou-sama style after hearing the fame of Disney princesses. Maybe I could write that into a summer alt (the foreshadowed Assassin-class Khutulun?) or something.

    - If she's summoned under the Caster-class as Turandot, she's almost a completely different person altogether due to Innocent Monster. She's more like your typical cold-hearted, torture-happy princess. Nessun Dorma becomes her main NP there, and she gets a more powerful version of it with less restrictions. Without releasing it's True Name, she could always hypnotize a smaller group of people to act as bodyguards or meat shields. The only trace of Khutulun remaining here is that she sometimes has this unexplainable urge to put her enemies in chokeholds and other similar wrestling moves if she's sufficiently pissed.

Khutulun: I've seen a few different versions of this gal here (even wrote up one myself), but I'd say this is the most interesting, especially in terms of NPs. For the first one, I take it's just an ordinary (if strong) arrow if the target is a being that doesn't have any expectations, like robots or mindless monsters? The second NP is pretty scary in how far-reaching its effects are and how it basically turns the whole populace against the enemy Master or Servant. Makes me think of a less lethal but more versatile version of Medusa's Blood Fort... Her personality is quite fun as well. She'd be a blast in any Grail War she showed up in.

Glad you enjoyed it Royd. For your answer, yeah, if her target doesn't have the normal trait of creating expectations (such as someone inhuman), the arrow would just take on its "default" form without any additional effects.

Other than that, I've just now seen other people's take on her, and I'm glad I could still make her stand out somewhat, either due to her character or skillset.

Adonis: A good and straightforward sheet. To release the final boss after his death is cool. The concept of summoning a specific aspect of a god is interesting. I like it

Chthulhu Khutulun : This is a really fun sheet. Character is really cool, a punching archer rounds up the concept of 'destroying expeactations'. I can see her doing the meme "Call an ambulance...but not for me!"
Her whole kit fits really well with her character and it is nice that you explored 'the other version' of her that shares her spirit origin. Sounds like she got a disney movie? I never heard of that. Really good work. Hope to see more of your sheets. I saw a recent blog with a large amount of Servant ideas, maybe check that out to find inspiration

Khutulun: Okay at first because i sa Turandot i wwere surprised to see that as my parents and many mwmbers of my Family a Opera spectators and as such have i heard from some of them . I must say Pretty solid i quite find te Arrow noblephantasm really good , i wonder what the effects would be if the Opponent against itis used has Clairvoyance and can see into the Future ? her personality is quite good and i can say that she would be a Refreshing part if she got Rin as Master . i would be currious what she would think of my over ambitious Kay Kawus as he was a quite crazy Ruler and she atleast must have Abit Knowledge About persia . and given that my Tugarin has a stance that female Warrior are a equaly to respect then male ones would i be curious what she wouold think of my Slavic Warrior which can aswell ride his Horse Partner like in unison ?

Also what would be her noblephantasm as Rder and would be in that class her personality ? and as Caster could she use a type of Sorcery perhaps some shamanism ?

    Gatekeeper of Chinvat Bridge

    Gatekeeper of the Chinvat Bridge

"Greetings little one. Seems like the roles are reversed and I am being welcomed into the world of the living. What an interesting child you are, daring to summon a Yazata as it would be as natural as death itself. Let me see…I think I look pretty. Breathtaking even, it comes close my true appearance. You are truly a follower of the truth. I will gladly help your cause and guide you on your path."

    Class: Gatekeeper
Other Classes (If Applicable): Caster, Rider, Saber
    True Name: Daena
    Alignment: Lawful Good
    Place of Origin: Persian/Zoroastrian Mythology

    Parameters:

    STR: D
    END: B
    AGI: E
    MGI: A
    LCK: A

    Height: 169cm
    Weight: 50kg
Likes: her love, Ahura Mazda and his creations (humanity, the world, animals like dogs)
Dislikes: 'misbehaving children', insults based on dogs
Talent: petting dogs, consoling, guiding, listening
    Natural Enemy: Daevas, dog abusers
    Attribute: Sky
    Armament: Staff
Catalyst: certain parts of the Vendidad

    Class Skills

    Magic Resistance A
Grants protection against magical effects. Cancels spells of A-Rank or below, no matter what High-Thaumaturgy it is.

    Territory Fortification C
Inherent Skill of the Gatekeeper Class. It denotes the ability to steadfastly guard a designated place. While the user remains in position, their defensive capabilities receive a significant boost. At the same time, the Skill's effects are dependent on the Gatekeeper's ability to repel invaders- should the user let intruders through, the effects of Territor Fortification will be lost.
The domain Gatekeeper wishes to protect is the human afterlife as a concept and the Chinvat Bridge as a symbol of it. The Territory she can erect is designated as the Bridge 'that connects the mortal realm with the afterlife'. Due to sharing this ability with her two dog companions, the rank has potential higher than C, but due to the anecdotes about souls being dragged into the pit, it suffered a minus modifier against foe's with Demonic Attributes.

    Divinity C
She was not born a goddess, but ascended to the rank of Yazata (comparable to Persian versions of Angels) after her accomplishments with her loved one and her devotion to humanity, the world and Ahura Mazda.

    Personal Skills

    Familiar ('Dog') B
'Dogs' can be commanded by thought alone without contract, but by their own will.
Her definition of dogs is the same as the one in the Vendidad, which includes the regular dog, but also foxes, weasels, otters, porcupines and hedgehogs. At this rank it would usually grant the Riding skill as well, but because of her belief she sealed it away.

"Riding has such subtle implications. Those equal in standing dont 'ride' each other. You wouldn't say you 'ride' your friend, right? That would mean she is beneath you in standing and…why are you blushing?…*eeekk* humanity these days has such frivolous thoughts!"

At the Path to Chinvat Bridge A-
A personalized form of the At The Boundary skill. It is a skill that denotes her role as a divine Yazata, the woman that guides the souls on their path. Be it finding your way in life or afterlife, she will provide loving guidance. This skill grants Discernment of the Poor in addition to Instant death immunity and charm immunity.

Daena greeted the souls on the path to the Chinvat Bridge and guided them to their afterlife. This included their mortal life, which is just an extension of that path. A skill that allows to comfort trembling souls and subdue evil souls who dont want to accept their punishment.

"For Millennia I listened to the deceased. How they lived, how they died…their dreams, their unfulfilled wishes, regrets, sorrows. I wished them farewell on their way to the light and heard their distant scream during their fall into the pit of lies. Like them I was once just a traveler on my journey to fulfill my role…together with him…"

The charm immunity is much lower against enemies with dog attributes (in her definition) and her Discernment skill drops by a rank if she knows the one being discerned is a dog lover.
"People who love dogs can not be a bad person, right?"

    Reflection of the Soul B
A special kind of skill similar to Innocent Monster and Shapeshift. Instead of actively changing her appearance, her appearance depends on the observer. She was described as the reflection of the soul or the embodiment of one's own 'religion' or 'consciousness'. Therefore each arriving soul will see a different face. Did the mortal live life in peace with the world and community, she will appear as a lovely maiden, unrivaled in beauty. Was the mortal a liar and followed the wrong path of life, she would look like a ghastly old hag. Grants Golden Rule(Beauty) against Good aligned and Monstrous Strength against Evil aligned. Side effect is, that while her Alignment will always be Lawful Good, against Evil aligned they will perceive her as "Chaotic Evil" as she reflects the evil in their soul in a grotesque way, that even they abhor her.

"Tell me, Master, how do I look for you? Your answer might tell you more about yourself, than you might think."

    Resolute Devotion A
Resolute Devotion is a Skill that represents one's feelings towards a loved one, which the person won't even flinch at committing self-sacrifice. Applies plus modifiers in regards to the effectiveness of defense/healing-type magecraft, Skills and items.
Daena was previously known as Cista, a goddess of health and well-being and responsible for one seeing their own path they are walking on and choosing to go forward on it or change it. Also Daena is said to be a child of Spenta Armaiti, the Yazata that represents Devotion. Her love is for humanity and great Ahura Mazda. She will not hesitate to use her abilities to help those pleading for salvation - be it pain from wounds or pain of leaving the living behind. As a Gatekeeper she profits from the modifiers to defense magecraft.

"Please Master, trust me. I am a capable healer! Before I took on the mantle of a Yazata I was a companion of a glorious hero of humanity! While he was the shining blade, I was the embracing shield, healing and protecting the innocent lives of our great Lord Ahura Mazda."

    Noble Phantasms

Oh Divine Gifts of the Creator, Guard with me this Realm of Life and Death
    Spâna Pəšu.Pâna

The two dogs are companions of Daena and the ones she guards the Chinvat Bridge with. They have the same skills as Gatekeeper and are a part of her Saint Graph. They will always be summoned together.
Dogs had a special place in ancient Persia and later in Zoroastrianism. They were treated equal to humans and a full member of the family. They were said to be a gift of Ahura Mazda to humanity for protection. Dogs are considered one third animal, one third human and one third divine. They gain plus modifiers when protecting a territory or an innocent person and become stronger against hostile evil aligned enemies.
Instead of becoming an old hag, they become bigger, have darker fur and look more threatening. For righteous souls they appear as cute puppies.
One is similar to a Sarabi Mastiff and one to an Alabai, both have lighter spots above their eyes, which the Persians considered 'four eyes', and light ears.

Oh my companions, glance at the druj and let them flee like the foulest Khrafstras
    Sagdid

"Oh my companions, glance at the druj and let them flee like the foulest Khrafstras.
Cleanse this land of the uncleanliness and therefore unholiness of the evil spreading Daevas with your gaze!
Free the body of lies and calamity that try to lead the Asavan of Holy Lord Ahura Mazda astray with your four divine eyes.
    Begin the ritual!
    Sagdid!"

Daena lets her two trusty companions and all dogs close stare at her enemy. It acts as an intimidation attack and weakens evil aligned servants in all parameters by one rank as long at least one dog looks at them. Curses or other negative spells that can be considered "druj" are cleansed from Daena, the dogs and her allies. Grants multipliers against enemies with insect-, reptile-, frog- or scorpion-like features.

It is based on the Sagdid ritual. A dog was lead into a room with a dead person and through repeated visits and observance of their reaction, it was decided if the person is really dead, all evil spirits are expelled and if the body is clean. Then other rituals take place, which would allow the soul to enter the afterlife few days later.

    Bridge of the Requiter
    Cinvatô Peretûm

“I sent my Soul through the Invisible,
some letter of that After-life to spell:
And by and by my Soul return’d to me,
And answer’d “I Myself am Heav’n and Hell.”

"Oh you souls coming from a Throne that is not of Ahura Mazda.
You walked across the boundary and can not be judged by the Holy Yazata anymore, yet the path you take here was already decided - by you
and your thoughts, your words and your deeds.
Bless the outcome, curse the outcome, but know you were your own judge.
Now go forth and tread the path you have already walked in life.
Will you hear the somber song of eternal light or the deafening sound of tenebrous seclusion?"

Gatekeeper attacks the very soul, the Spirit Origin, of all around her, which is really hard to avoid and puts them in a momentary trance.
The ones caught in it find themselfs in a barely lit canyon and in front of them is the Chinvat Bridge. Across the bridge is a bright shining range of mountains, but under it a dark abyss of shadowy mist.
With her Authority of the Path, which she can only enact at the Chinvat Bridge, she prevents all from going any other way than across the bridge. Each step they take prevents them from going backwards again.
For the virtuos, the bridge appears like a broad walk of solid light, guiding them to a bright afterlife, while the evildoers only see a narrow walk of stone, unstable and dangerous. If they cross, they are sure to fall and if they can avoid this, they are caught by a noose of black energy, dragging them down to the druj-demana and atone for their sins in pain and isolation.
When awaking the good aligned are cleansed of all negative effects they currently suffer from and gain a rank up in LCK, MAN and END. The evil aligned will suffer from a constant feeling of suffocating and isolation, which leads to all support effects from their allies to fail and a rank down in in all Parameter.

    Personality

Gatekeeper is a loving character. A careful listener and a wonderful friend when one needs consolance.
She is a devote believer in her god Ahura Mazda and loves all of his creations. During her work as a guide of souls, she may meet rude people, not accepting their death, avoiding stepping on the bridge and outright cursing the gods. She still loves them, as they too are children of Ahura Mazda, but like little misguided children, they just chose the wrong way to go.
With a serene yet frightening smile that forebodes trouble, she can intimidate even the toughest of men. Like a kind, but really annoyed mother that just needs one more step out of line to whoop your ass, she reprimands them to 'behave and be kind'. At least that is what those with a good heart see when she deals with those 'troublemakers' in the afterlife. The face of them shows that they see something much more frightening than a pulsing vein on her forehead.
Still, with a sad look she hears their scream falling into the abyss, even if she knows, their penance is only temporary and they will someday reconnect with their creator. She acts like that if she has to fight as well. She dislikes it, but sees the necessity in it. Her love extends to the realm of animals, especially her dogs. She is often seen playing with her 'puppies' or observing them eating, playing or getting pet by others who are dog-lovers as well. She can talk hours about them, so some in Chaldea started questioning if she treats her dogs like humans or humans like dogs - in a good, but weird sense. People who hurt animals will have a hard time with her.
And she loves Love as well. Always up for girl talks about crushes and romances. She always blushes if she can talk about her love with whom she ascended to yazata-hood, but she cant say too much, as not all know the true story. Due to their tasks as Yazata, they can usually just share distant gazes filled with love with each other, but she says that is all she needs to keep going.

    Relationships

Cu Chulainn: " 'The Hound of Culann' is your name? I bet you really appreciate this title. Dogs are a gift to the world and you becoming a Heroic Spirit shows your accomplishments. May I ask how you got that name? ... YOU WHAT?"""

Narcissus: "I usually look like the reflection of the soul, but in female form, but he…he made me not only a man, he made me like a mirror image of him. I was made to his reflection of his body…how…how did he do that?"

    Hessian Lobo:
Hessian: "Interesting. I appear as myself. I shall ignore this, but promise me to guide Lobo in my stead."
Lobo: "My realm has a complicated relationship with your kind. You embody thiefery, but also noble bravery. And your story, little Lobo…is so sad. Even animals can stray from the proper path. Forgive me for not being there to guide you. But it seems like you now finally found one…"

Ivan Pavlov: "I am a healer, but… *loads gun*"

    Creator's Notes

Done in 2 days. Last year i decided to research the Persian Mythology a bit and found her pretty interesting. She wasnt in my list of actual to-do Servants, but I thought of her again after reading Kamerads latest sheets - for whatever reason.
Regarding her love - it is Mithra, a Yazata. Her previous 'version' Cista, the goddess she replaced in role and expanded her function, was a companion of his and is A judge of the dead at the Chinvat bridge.
In a story I have in mind for FGO i play a bit with persian myths and reinterpret them and this info i found yesterday fits in decently.
And the Faceclaim is Tatiana from FE Echoes. Shadows of Valentia and my Fire Emblem Waifu :nobunobu: . Fitting because today is Tatiana Day.
Her alternate class Saber is just because I had the idea that she could have a sword based on the bridge that gets thinner/sharper the more evil the enemy in her eyes is.

Nah, she didn't have a Disney movie (although she may be a partial inspiration for similar "badass warrior princess" characters like Mulan. However, Khutulun, Mulan, and Pocahontas shares the theme of "strong, nuanced women who got their stories twisted and simplified to fit a romance narrative", which is where that line comes from.

P.S. What a coincidence, my next sheet might involve lots of that collapsing mechanism as well, not that I know how to do it without making the formatting a mess right now.

If anything, having clairvoyance would probably make it worse for you since after seeing where the arrow would hit, you'd think you can dodge/block it, only for it to suddenly curve midair or something. She has Nessun Dorma as an NP in all possible classes (although it's strongest form can only be used under the Caster-class). As a Rider, her NP would probably have something to do with her horde of 100,000 horses, while as a Caster, she'd have something similar to Queen of Sheba's Three Enigmas. Character-wise, Rider would be Khutulun as a military commander instead of a wrestler (although they still share lots of similarities), while Caster is Turandot herself, or "Khutulun Alter"; a tyrannical, torture-happy princess.

one workaround i think is by screenshotting your uncollapsed text in advance and just use that image, like how Left did it with their Armstrong sheet

    Assassin - Thomas Derrick

    Characteristics

Eligible Catalysts: An old executioner’s axe
    Gender: Male
    Height / Weight: 168 cm / 75 kg
    Alignment: Lawful Evil
    Home: England
    Origin: Historical Fact
Equipment: An executioner’s axe, a rope with a hangman’s knot

    Personal Information

    Attribute: Man
Likes: Seeing people’s final moments, When his job goes well
Dislikes: Botched or messy executions, having nothing to do
    Talents: Unnerving people
Natural Enemy: People who don’t die when they are killed, immortal beings (to a degree), his own impatience

    Lore

Thomas Derrick was in all sense of the word an ordinary enough man on the surface, he lived an ordinary life, did an ordinary job, and had an ordinary family, and yet lacking fulfillment or any sensation of purpose or direction, much less anything he could truly claim to enjoy or look forwards to he was driven to that which society deemed criminal in trying to find something to give him worth or meaning. As a result of an incident involving a young woman he was captured, tried, and sentenced to death for his crime, However the Earl of Essex, who ruled the region at the time had a problem, he lacked an executioner. Due to the risk of being perhaps forced to kill family or friends, and/or moral issues with the task few would take up the profession. So he cut Derrick a deal, he would stay his execution if he would spend the rest of his life as his executioner. Though dissatisfied with his life Derrick had no desire to die, thus he accepted the earl’s offer.

It was after his first execution that Thomas Derrick would finally find his purpose, upon seeing his quarry and delivering onto them death Thomas found himself fascinated with their behavior, the conduct they would display, the last minutes of their life unveiling before him. Time and time again Derrick would witness men die, some faced death with a solemn resolve, some had to be restrained and behaved like mad beasts, their humanity discarded in the desperate struggle to halt their inevitable death, others showed remorse towards their crimes, others seemed only remorseful they had been caught, some thought of their family and spoke of them in their final words, some only spoke of themselves, some would try to appeal to him, some would threaten him with persecution or judgment from god for his acts. Yet Thomas Derrick never ceased in his task. For he had found a purpose, from the moment of his first execution he lived only for the moment when his services would be needed, to witness the last moments of another’s life unfold, to be granted the privilege of a person’s true self and life be completely unveiled before him.

Indeed it was this desire to perfectly recall or the obsession with having these memories, these moments which he deemed so precious be perfect that would always drive him to better his craft and practice. If the noose was inefficient in raising or lowering the condemned at Tyburn where he worked, he would create a system using a lift and pulleys to expedite the hanging, if his axe swing was inefficient or sloppy (as it was when he executed his pardoner the Earl of Essex [who desperately begged him for life and cited the mercy he once showed Thomas Derrick] in the Tower of London [the result of the messy botched execution [taking 3 axe swings] so messy and unpleasant it perhaps is why no further executions were ever performed at the tower, under Elizabeth the 1st or any future British Monarch’s rule]) then upon returning to Tyburn he would practice swinging an axe in his spare time and always keep it sharp, “Just in case” he would always say.

It was said by the time of his death Derrick had condemned 3000 men and his name had become interchangeable with the word for the job of hangman at the time. Even after his death Thomas Derrick’s innovation to the system of lifting and lowering condemned prisoners made his name become slang for rope based lifting mechanisms like cranes.

    Personality

A man who is constantly impatient, always waiting for the one moment when he can watch someone’s last minutes play out, constantly preparing and refining his methods to make the moment perfect. In effect a terrifyingly obsessive person and a natural executioner. Assassin himself has no bias or qualms about who he kills or why he is killing them, in his view he is an agent of death and inevitably the end arrives to all mortal beings equally. As a result, he is displeased with those who would ruin the purity of the moment by not dying when they should due to willpower, when something goes wrong, or foes returning to life (the last of which especially annoys him). The concept of immortality also somewhat annoys or perhaps more accurately baffles Assassin, life itself in his view has meaning because it is finite and has a set ending, a life without end is nothing but a series of moments with no real significance or special meaning to them. In other words a utterly stagnant existence devoid of meaning or purpose.

    Relationships

Charles Henri Sanson: A bit too naive that one.
Marie Antoinette: Innocent or guilty, that isn’t my place to worry about, if they send you to me then all my job requires is that you’re dealt with. That’s life for you, sometimes good people get bad endings.
Queen Elizabeth the 1st: [annoyed] Would you stop harping on that? I’ve practiced this time, it won't happen again.
The Earl of Essex: [shrugs] It was nothing personal, just business, and would you stop bringing up that incident! I’ve changed you know, I’ve practiced and improved since then!
King Hassan: Killing for duty, killing for work, in the end, death waits for no-one.

James Moriarty: So the UK’s most wanted shows himself to me, unfortunately I’m not as merciful as Mr. Holmes and you have quite the dossier Mr. Moriaty.
Blackbeard: Steal anything on my watch and it’s be the noose Teach.
Robinhood: (currently investigating if the involved parties in the throne want to press legal charges)
Ereshkigal: The goddess of death huh? Well I guess that makes me the ferryman of the dead.
Phantom of the Opera: (investigating the similarities between the novel and real events)

Carmilla: Take a rain check on it, if she’s human enough maybe i’ll do the deed.
Lancelot: (Artoira said she wouldn’t press charges) [mildly annoyed/disappointed/bored] Mind your step knight.
Consort Yu: I’m not even gonna bother with this one, you’re on your own.
Vlad the Impaler (berserker): [slightly annoyed] Master, if you wanted a vampire hunter you should have summoned Van Helsing, this isn’t my job.
Salome: I’m gonna have to ask you to stop, you’re making me a little ill.

Lü Bu: I’m working out the details on it, I think I may get the case. Might need to make the rope a bit longer and tougher in preparation.
Frankenstein’s Monster: (remarkably has no problems with her, is inquiring if he can get Victor on some charges though)
Caligula: Neither Insanity nor Status is justification to waive charges of this magnitude Sir. The voices of the people have spoken, they pine for death’s descent and I answer their call.
Shuten-Douji: [palms face] You know, I remember back when if you cut someone's head off or hung them, or blew their torso to bits, they would actually die. Master what happened to those days, cause I’m really starting to miss them.
Heracles: [frustratedly hitting him with an axe] WHY WON’T YOU DIE?!?

    Parameters:
    Strength – C++
    Endurance – D
    Agility – C
    Mana – E
    Luck – C
    Noble Phantasm – B+

    Class Skills

Presence Concealment [D-]- The class skill of the assassin class servant, due to Assassin not really being an assassin at all he has it at an abysmally low rank, and while it can “sorta” hide one’s presence as a servant this generally fails as most will have a sort of instinct that Assassin is more than he appears as they approach. Additionally when they get too near, his Reaper’s footstep skill completely renders this point moot as Assassin gives off an aura of terror to his foes. Consequently, Assassin is completely unfit for either sneaking about or even spying despite possessing this skill.

    Personal Skills

Blade of Slaughter [B-]- A skill denoting the ability to kill men, it is said to be functionally similar the manslayer or aptitude for slaughter skills, but different in that it denotes 'the nature of a trained killer, one who has specialized and honed both their body and tools towards killing humans'. In effect at this level Assassin does greatly increased damage against humans or human foes. However, due to his anecdote of having to swing his axe 3 times to kill the earl of essex there is a higher chance that attacks with his axe, particularly against nobility may have more questionable accuracy and may not receive as much of a bonus.

Executioner (Law) [A]- A variation of the executioner skill, rather than one who would take up the task of executioner and uphold the spirit of the job, in killing the wicked and bring about a better future, Assassin is the cold reality of the task, with this skill embodying this fact. Rather than doing increased adamge towards those who possess the evil alignment, he simply does more damage to those “who are judged as evil or wicked”. As such the perception of those at the time in power and/or the collective of the people who control Assassin dictates if a target is or is not wicked. Indeed though Derrick killed many, how many were truly wicked? And of those how many were wrongly condemned?

Reaper’s Footsteps [B]- A skill denoting the approach of a killer one who would bind a foe and guide them to their fate. In effect this denote’s Assassin’s ability to bind foes with his rope, as well as a pressure taking the form of mental interference that he gives off to those he is tasked with killing. This differs from the ability of a concealed foe to drive fear into his foes, instead it is the ability to drive fear and dread and bring about the feeling of death’s approach in the hearts of men. At this level even the sound of a footstep on a stone floor, the sound of an axe being sharpened, or even a shadow of a man approaching would all engrave hopelessness and terror into a foe facing Assassin if the lacked a sufficient mindset or the ability to block out mental interference.

    Noble Phantasms

Tyburn Devise, the raising of the condemned - B
A invocation of magecraft which is “similar, yet distinct” from a reality marble, the
    simulation
    projection
of Tyburn where Derrick did most of his hangings where the foe is bound, raised, then allowed to fall and hang. The invocation of this noble phantasm however requires more than just the usage of it’s name, Assassin must “catch” the foe (either binding them with a rope, grabbing and holding them, and/or pinning them) then he can use the noble phantasm by activating its name. Once activated the foe is then bound in rope that cannot be broken and hung, dependent on if they are judged to be evil, their own luck, Assassin’s luck, and if they have skills to halt or give them a better chance or an escape. Then they may be instantly killed (or more technically instantly receive fatal damage, those with high enough battle continuation could still persist for a time afterwards).
    Anti-Unit

Beheading At Tower Green, the three swings - C+
A noble phantasm that is the crystallization of Thomas Derrick’s (in)famous botched execution of the Earl of Essex, upon activation the target is struck 3 times with an axe, however the chance of this being an instant kill noble phantasm is decidedly lower than his other noble phantasm. However the advantage is that if Thomas Derrick knew or has some tangible and meaningful connection to his target (perhaps they befriended each other for a time, perhaps they were fellow executioners, or perhaps they were someone like Elizabeth the 1st) from before this noble phantasm is activated then the damage dealt by those 3 hits is increased.

Indeed Thomas Derrick himself was once pardoned by the Earl of Essex and given the job of being an executioner, so perhaps it is only karma that when his own pardonner mistepped he would be tasked with executing him. In the broader sense, this is likely an apt conception for what this Noble phantasm is, a curse of
    karmic
    ironic
punishment upon Assassin’s foe and himself, for a man who lived for the last moments of a man’s life to have it tarnished by imperfection was infuriating to Derrick, and to have this moment not only be remembered, but crystalized as a noble phantasm is galling to him (as by his words the act is “more akin to acts of a madman than a professional’s work”). On the other side if the victim is in a situation where it would be
    karmic
    ironic
for them to be executed, such as if they knew Thomas Derrick then it is only natural that the amount of damage dealt by this attack would increase.

    Notes

So not all that much to say on this one, I had a tab open on a search for him after seeing him appear in Nioh as a boss and elected to give the idea a spin. I took inspiration from some of his skills and abilities from Sanson but modified them to suit a more typical executioner type character. The fixation with death I felt helped focus his character as an executioner and a killer of men, someone whose life and work are virtually inseparable. The aptitude for slaughter was added as a skill to partly highlight just how many Assassin has killed over the years and how good he’s gotten at his job over time. Reaper’s footsteps was designed partly on the idea of the sheer terror of someone about to be executed and their panic in hearing their executioner finally come calling, thus signaling the end of their life.

I had to give him a noble phantasm based on his infamous execution of the Earl of Essex and I thought it would be ironic given the character of his obsession with being his executions and the memories associated with them being perfect for him to partly be remembered and have one of his worst botch jobs crystalized (as such he would almost never want to use it and is embarrassed he is over it [it’s one of the few things that can get the guy flustered aside from people who just won’t die]). I also elected to kinda make a bit of a joke over how many servants have abilities which makes them a pain to kill and him as a guy who’s like “can I just be given a simple execution please?” in that he really doesn’t want to deal with stubborn cases like that (thus he’s reluctant to fight vampires and he refuses to even try against beings like true ancestors of Xian).

Ironically the hardest part of this was the face claim as trying to find something akin to an ordinary normal executioner was a difficult piece of art to find.

So a bit of a quickie sheet here, I’ve actually got another sheet I’m working on, one which needs a bit of revising, and a couple more ideas, but I’m not going to give any deadlines with classes starting back up for me. I will admit this one is a little similar to Sanson, but I think I managed to distinguish him in personality and the idea of the concept of an executioner / hangman versus the more pragmatic reality of the job. Overall not exactly a complicated sheet to write, but a fun one and I didn’t really encounter any major problems with this one. Also for those who are interested I made a mega sheet with a whole bunch of servant ideas from both more and less well known corners of history (linked in the signature) so feel free to check it out (or use ideas from it) if you wish. As always if you have any comments or questions feel free to send me a PM or a reply and I will get back to you when I can, and I wish you all the best in the new year.

In Hindu literatures the Eight (sometimes Nine) Treasures of Kubera are things like lotus and conch which are more metaphorical than literal treasures. They are more like attributes or elements that determines someone's fortune.

The two nidhis Padma and Mahapadma are Sattvika in characteristics. A person having the marks of makara gathers together swords, arrows, javelins, etc.

Makara and Kacchapa — these two nidhis are supposed to be tamasika in characteristics. A person having the marks of Kacchapa does not have faith in any person. He neither enjoys his wealth nor gives it to anybody.

He will keep his wealth boarded in a deep pit in the ground. He will remain a single person (without any friend). The nidhi Mukunda is rajasika in characteristics. A person having the marks thereof collects realms.

He enjoys all good things in life and distributes wealth among musician and courtesans. A person having the marks of Nila - both Tamasik and rajasika and shall be the vital support to his family.

A person having the marks of the nidhi Nanda shall have :sattvika splendour. He will gather together garments, grains, etc:

He has the manliness and power of three persons. He will be making mango groves, tanks, etc. The nidhi Śaṅkha indicates self-centredness. He spends all his wealth in his own enjoyment.

His servants and kinsmen eat wretched food and do not wear good garments. The Śaṅkha (one bearing the marks of Śaṅkha) is assiduous in nourishing himself. If, ever he gives anything to anybody it shall go in vain.

When the markings of different nidhis are present the results are mixed. Lord Hari had thus expounded to Hara and others the characteristics of the nidhis. I am expounding now as Hari had expounded them previously.

    Alter ego of Sunflower

    "It's Needle time!"

    Class: Alter-ego
    Alignment: Chaotic/Evil
    Region: Tohno city
    Height: 156cm
    Weight: 43kg
    Likes: Video-games, mischief, her sister
    Dislikes: Vampires, work, ojou-like girls
    Talent: making crazy experiments
Armaments: "magical" drugs, broom (concealed blade)
    Natural Enemy: Magical Caren

    Stats

    Str: C
    End: D
    Agi: B
    Mna: A
    Lck: B
    NP: A

    Skills

    Class Skills

Item Creation(A): The Skill to manufacture magical items, from implements of war to items for daily use. Alter-ego is famous for her weird inventions and mysterious concoctions, which she will unfortunately sometimes test on her allies.

Independent Action(B): The ability to remain independent even when rejecting, or being unable to receive a mana supply. Alter-ego prouds herself in being the "free-spirit" of the Four Magical Girl Heavenly Kings, being the one who strikes out and does things her own way. Wait, what do you mean by "They are all like that."?

    Personal Skills

Kohaku Battoujutsu(A): The secret sword style passed on Alter-ego's family for untold generations. Or so she claims, but there is a high probability that she just made it up. In any case, Alter-ego does indeed possess incredible skill with the blade, capable of releasing a Iai slash with less time than it takes to blink.

Magical Girl Heavenly King(B): A Skill that marks Alter-ego as one of the Four Magical Girl Heavenly Kings. As a Magical Girl above Magical girls, she has a natural type advantage against others with the said trait. Essentially, an Anti-Magical Girl skill.

Assistant Mech-Hisui(B): An Automaton constructed by Alter-ego to help her in battle, as well as to take care of the house chores she can't bother to do. Armed with several weapons, thick armor, and a jetpack, Mech-Hisui is a formidable opponent on her own, and invincible when fighting alongside her creator.

    Noble Phantasm

    Orbital Magical Flower-Satellite
    Sunflower Laser

    Rank: Anti-Army, A

Alter-ego's ultimate power. One of the most powerful Noble Phantasm ever and the most incredible weapon to have ever been build...

...is what she says, but the Noble Phantasm has yet to show such power.

In any way, it is activated when Alter-ego uses her
    Broom
    Control Rod
to contact the special sunflower-shaped satellite built by her, which in turn releases a stream of concentrated Hisuinium particles that obliterates the enemy along with everything on fifty miles radius. A terrifying creation that sounds more like the invention of a mad scientist than the power of Magical Girl.

... What do you mean by "There is no such thing as Hisuinium Particles"? Is that not part of the canon anymore?

    Background

Alter-ego's Identity is that of the (self-proclaimed) Amber Magician, Magical Amber! A mysterious hooded girl, she is part of a special group called the "Four Magical Girls Heavenly Kings" that have taken over Tohno city.

Although all the Members of the group are supposed to be equal, she ends up being treated as a maid by the other Magical Girls. Day after day, she throws herself into the manufacture of strange and suspicious drugs, being secluded in her personal garden. Her slogan is “Chemical! Magical! Medical!”

Technically, she is a Broom Girl, not a Magical Girl, but those kinds of distinctions don't really matter. She also seems to be related to the mysterious "Brainwashing Detective" and also to... Okita Souji!?

    Personality

Alter ego is, plain and simple, a Genki girl! Bright, cheerful, and full of energy, she goes hard on everything she does and seems to always give 100% of herself. This explosion of personality can be charming, but also tiring in its own right. However...

That is all a facade. In truth, Alter ego is a megalomaniacal Mad Scientist who is always scheming. She plans to overthrow the other Magical Girl Kings and take over Tohno city. She also likes to laugh maniacally when she thinks there no one is around.

A dangerous being once said to the strongest character in the world, according to a certain Mushroom. She works from the dark while pretending to be harmless. What? Everyone knows the truth already?
