So here's a new sheet from me. Be sure to look for collapse-text in his Class, personal information, personality and Skills to get the full story. As usual comments and critique would be welcome. Thanks for reading y'all!

    LancerForeigner of Inebriated Truth
    :

    Appearance:

    Source

    Stage 3 Ascension Art

    True Name: Eurypylus

    Alignment: Chaotic GoodEvil

    Alternate Classes: BerserkerLancer, Berserker

Armament: A bronze spear with a small wine flask hanging from it.

    Strength- C
    Agility- B
    Endurance- B
    Mana- B
    Luck- C
    NP- B

    Personality
A friendly guy who acts like "everyone's cool drunk uncle". He's happy to share alcohol with anyone, calling it the sacrament of his god, although he'll reluctantly accept age-limits. He dislikes bloodshed wishing for everyone to settle their disagreements over a sweet cup of wine. A friendly guy who acts like "everyone's cool drunk uncle". He's happy to share alcohol with anyone, calling it the sacrament of his god, although he'll reluctantly accept age-limits. He dislikes bloodshed wishing for everyone to settle their disagreements over a cup of wine. However his true patron is actually Gloon and not Dionysus, so there's a far darker side to Foreigner's devotion. He won't take no for an answer and will try to convert everyone into Gloon's ways of endless drunkenness and revelry, even using his Noble Phantasm to shatter their mind and remake them into one of the god's followers. His wish on the Holy Grail is to dissolve all of humanity into Gloon's embrace so they can live forever in a paradise of eternal drunken dreams.

Likes: alcohol, partying, his patron, dolphins
Dislikes: violence, teetotalers, people who judge by appearances
    Talents: dissipating bloodshed, spreading the
    wine
    word
    of God
    Natural Enemy: Paris

    Class Skills:

Magic Resistance- CExistence Beyond The Domain- B
Confers protection against magical effects. At this rank spells with a chant below two verses are cancelled. Cannot cope against the likes of High Thaumaturgy or Greater Rituals.A Skill inherent to the Foreigner Class, asserting one's existence outside of time and reality. Foreigner is partially resistant to physical and mental damage, as his true self exists far beyond the reality perceivable by humans. This defense can be bypassed if the attacker themselves is connected to "something beyond man", like by possessing the Divinity Skill. Foreigner's patron manifests in the shell of a god from human mythology, so he obtains a lower rank.

    Divinity- C
Qualifies one's aptitude as a Divine Spirit. Foreigner became a follower of Dionysus in life but was never claimed to be descended from him. His status as ambassador to a deity is enough to grant him C-rank in this Class.

    Revelry- A+
A Skill that replaces the usual Insanity of the Foreigner Class. He was cured of his madness upon dedicating himself to the god Dionysus and reigned as king over the land of Aroe--- at least, that's how the tale goes. In reality his madness remained, but he considered it a gift instead of a curse. Foreigner is constantly drowning in madness, but embraces that as the blessing of his patron. His words and gestures continually invite others to join him in drowning in the ecstasy of divine madness, equating to a mental aura akin to drunkenness that melts morals, muddles rivalries and erodes rational thought.

"Now now, can't we just talk it over some nice drink and be friends?"

    Personal Skills:

Affection Of The Wine GodAffection Of The Wine God (False)- B
A Skill that denotes one being loved by the god of wine Dionysus, whom Lancer dedicated himself to after recovering from a bout of madness. Additionally to the paradigmatic rank-up of parameters save Luck and Mana Lancer is bestowed several boons to better spread his patron's gospel of revelry, that is, complete immunity to the negative effects of intoxication and a passive ability to convert any beverage he touches into an alcoholic one.A Skill that denotes one being loved by the god of wine Dionysus, whom Foreigner dedicated himself to after recovering from a bout of madness. Additionally to the paradigmatic rank-up of parameters save Luck and Mana Foreigner is bestowed several boons to better spread his patron's gospel of revelry, that is, complete immunity to the negative effects of intoxication and a passive ability to convert any beverage he touches into an alcoholic one. In truth it wasn't Dionysus he contacted but rather Gloon, so while utilizing this Skill Foreigner receives strange visions of cyclopean ruins beneath the sea that further drive his devotion to the mad god.

    Dispeller Of Divine Wrath- B
According to legend, when cursed with madness LancerForeigner received a prophecy from the Oracle of Delphi to seek out a city with strange offerings and settle there. His wanderings took him to the city of Athroe where he found the citizens sacrificing a maiden to the goddess Artemis to propitiate for the crime of Comaetheo and Melanippus, who'd polluted her shrine. LancerForeigner ended the sacrifices and established worship of Dionysus in the city, whereupon he regained his sanity. Having called off the wrath of a goddess, LancerForeigner is able to nullify around him offensive Skills and Noble Phantasms derived from Divinity at rank C or lower.

    In The Trojan Horse- C
A Skill signifying LancerForeigner as one of the Greek soldiers who hid inside the wooden horse to enter the gates of Troy. Other heroes who took part in the stratagem and subsequent sacking might not possess this due to having more particular martial or tactical feats that overshadowed it. Having both smuggled into the city to sabotage its defenses and participated in the crowded fight within this confers him access to Presence Concealment, Subversive Tactics and Knowledge Of Melee Combat at rank D.

...Furthermore the meaning of "Trojan Horse" is something harmful disguised as a blessing. As such this Skill allows Foreigner to obscure the true horrific nature of his patron god, passing himself off as a Lancer and hiding the (False) variant in Affection Of The Wine God. Though this is dispelled when one witnesses the invocation of his Noble Phantasm.

    Familiars (Dolphins)- B
Lancer is accompanied by dolphins that were depicted as the friends and servants of Dionysus. These dolphins are able to swim playfully through air as well as water and carry others on their backs.Foreigner is accompanied by dolphins that were depicted as the friends and servant of Dionysus. These dolphins are able to swim playfully through air as well as water and carry others on their backs. They are actually Foreigner's former followers transformed into dolphins by the "blessing" of his true patron god, Gloon. When unleashed by Foreigner's will these innocent creatures become surprisingly vicious letting out unearthly high-pitched calls and swarming the opponent, battering with their tails and ripping them apart in ecstatic revelry.

    Noble Phantasm
    Bacchanalia Gloon
    False Icon, Revelation Of Madness

    Rank: B

    Type: Anti-Unit, Anti-Mind

A Noble Phantasm crystallizing how Foreigner was cursed with madness for glimpsing an icon of Dionysus only to be be cured upon dedicating himself to the god. This Class attests the theory that the god he contacted was not actually Dionysus but rather the Great Old One Gloon. Upon invoking the true name Foreigner manifests a small statue of the god Dionysus. This sculpture is divinely beautiful and draws the opponent closer to admire it. But when they get close it reveals its true form, marble cracking open to spill out a horrifying seaslug-like abomination that shatters their sanity and remakes them as one of Foreigner's dolphin familiars.

This Noble Phantasm demands two mental resistance checks, one to avoid being drawn close to the icon and a second to maintain their sanity in the face of the god's true appearance. Failing the second results in one's mind shriveling and their body transfiguring into a dolphin to accompany the god's procession forever. Foreigner himself doesn't find anything odd about his patron's true form, merely grateful to bask in his god's blessing.

    Faker - Patrick Hamilton

(CW: Entire Servant is themed around psychological abuse)
    Faker of Narratives

"Master, you had better sit back and let your Servant handle this, for how much can you really do? No, I am no illusion crafter, you must've been seeing things."

    True Name: Patrick Hamilton/'Gaslight Effect'
Alt. Classes: Caster, Avenger, Assassin? The best class for him though would be Gatekeeper after being genderbent~
    Source: History
    Region: England
Catalyst: A gas light one is unsure if it is dimming.
    Armament: His own words.

    Description:
A 20th century British playwright and novelist known for his bleak and misanthropic neo-Dickensian stories. While not a household name, he has been acclaimed for his novel Hangover Square and his plays Rope and The Gas Light, the last his most enduring work in ways he couldn't have foreseen. Or maybe he could?

The Gas Light details about how an abusive husband manipulates and controls his wife by planting false narratives in her head, making her constantly question her own reality and sanity. The play and then film subsequently spawned the term 'Gaslighting' in popular psychology, describing how abusers do exactly that, and vastly eclipsing Hamilton himself in notoriety.

Patrick Hamilton's actual personality is more a case of 'behind every cynic lies a broken idealist', someone completely let down by the world, knowing that things can better but unable to foresee them ever becoming so. At his most extreme, he sees the modern world as on an inevitable downward spiral. But with the rise of the Gaslight Effect, what Hamilton's personality actually is no longer matters…

The vessel Patrick Hamilton has had the idea that he's mistaken in thinking he could ever be a Servant enforced on him by his own corruption, for how could someone as recent, unnoteworthy, and honestly pathetic as him ever qualify? His corrupted self has become incapable of acting in any way that does not involve planting a false narrative into another, he does what the Gaslight Effect tells him because the Gaslight Effect, the true Servant really, knows which course of action is best.

Still, there's a risk that someone as critical as Patrick Hamilton could never stay completely silent…

    Attribute: Beast
Alignment: Chaotic Good (normally), Lawful Evil (Innocent Monster)
Likes: Writing, dark comedy, identifying social ills, Listeners
Dislikes: The modern world, his parents, his alcoholism, Disobedience
    Relationships

    • Kafka: "Are you sure you're who you say who are? What if you don't look like the historical Kafka because you aren't, what if there's no such thing as an 'Inverted Foreigner'? Just something to think about."
    • Chatelet: "Are you really a notable figure in your own right? A lot of what you 'accomplished' would've come from Newton, and especially Voltaire."
    • Goethe: "You hate your book Werther? Because a lot of people seem to quite like it. How much can your single opinion really matter against a mass of contrasting voices?"
    • Rosencrantz & Guildenstern: "Don't you think there's a legitimate reason your writer made you mere background characters? Of course, this is going by your insistence that your existence is in a play."
    • Christina: "It seems like people had quite valid reasons to deny your queenship. You did spend all that money, you did betray the religion your father had fought so hard for, and of course, you're the reason Monaldeschi's dead."

Master: Preferably someone vulnerable and obedient, like Irisviel or Aoi Tohsaka. In terms of similarity to his own methods however, a comparison could be made to the 'Word of God' Kurogiri.
Natural Enemy: Kirei Kotomine, since lying is Faker's whole thing Any Servant with peak Mental Resistance, the average Berserker since Faker's mostly relies on communication and "You can't drive someone mad if they already are."
Wish: What any gaslighter wishes for, complete obedience.

    Parameters

    • Strength: ***** E
    • Endurance: ***** D
    • Agility: ***** D
    • Magic: ***** E
    • Luck: ***** E
    • Noble Phantasm: ***** C

    Class Skills

    Camouflage

Allows a Servant to disguise their Class and Parameters.

    • Rank C: Faker can make it appear as if he's any other Class he either qualifies for or may look like he qualifies for, such as Avenger, Caster, or Assassin. Upon analysis of him, he can make his parameters appear to be two Ranks higher or lower than they are. For imitating another Servant, Faker will usually stick with authors around his time that he has similarities to, like George Orwell (who also described gaslighting but on a mass level), Franz Kafka (especially since the actual Kafka's looking rather feminine these days), or Robert Bloch (another psychologically haunting author adapted by Hitchcock).

"I have always been this Class, why would you think I was ever anything else?"

    Personal Skills

    Human Observation

The ability to observe and understand people, a technique associated with character-centric authors.

    • Rank B: Faker tends to specialise in analysing people's doubts and insecurities, quickly uncovering a person's own lack of faith in what they know and determining what sort of person they are most likely to trust. This allows Faker to negate Mental Resistance skills up to an equal Rank.

"Who else do you have to trust? You are simply not strong enough."

    Information Erasure

The removal of information regarding the Servant's True Name, abilities, and appearance from the records and memories of all eyewitnesses, including the opponent, following the conclusion of an engagement.

    • Rank B: Faker is well acquainted with methods of hiding or obfuscating info, effective enough to leave a target questioning what's real and what isn't. That said, so that a target may gradually grow dependent on him for info as is his strategy, so he would not go as far as to erase their memory of him completely. Can be especially mind-blogging in combination with Camouflage.

"We've never met? Au contraire, several times before. We have met? Really, I've never seen you in my life."

    Innocent Monster

One whose existence has a Servant has become altered by their historical reputation and rumours.

    • Rank B: While Patrick Hamilton was respected as a writer by those who knew his work, his own identity has become largely eclipsed in the public conscience by the means of social control he identified and indirectly named: Gaslighting, controlling someone by making them question and disbelieve their own reality. As a Faker, Hamilton's own Saint Graph has become corrupted by and is now little but a shell for the Gaslight Effect.

"With the swirl of truth and perception, what may be 'real' to you matters little in the grand scheme."

    Murderer on a Misty Night

A Skill associated with serial killers, permits a pre-emptive strike against all opponents.

    • Rank E: Faker was no killer in life, however he was more than well acquainted with the psychology and methods of murder, as displayed in his other great play Rope. He can't manage a pre-emptive strike naturally but can definitely seem to appear all of a sudden, even though he'll say he was always there.

"One must be a great intellectual indeed to successfully perform murder."

    Noble Phantasm

    Gaslighter's Grand Narrative
    Your Truth Is My Lie

    Rank: CEX
    Type: Anti-UnitAnti-Truth

The culmination of the Gaslight Effect's psychological manipulation upon an individual, activated once that person is in complete thrall to Faker. It takes the form of the false narrative implanted in them that 'Faker will never hurt you', which of course then allows Faker to hurt his victim as much as possible with that victim rationalising that Faker isn't in fact hurting them, or if he is it's for their own good. Of course, given Faker's E-Rank Strength, this would take the form of a death of a thousand cuts if anything.

"You do this to yourself, really. I'm only here to help you."

However, even this is only a partial activation of this Noble Phantasm, the full effect only being attainable if the Target is also in possession of a Reality Marble. With his now total grasp over his victim's psyche and perception of themselves and the world, Faker becomes able to parasitically infest their Reality Marble and use his False Narratives to alter it to his liking. He can even get his victim to unleash it on his own command, not the victim's.

"I'll take it from here, for I'm the only one you can trust."

Patrick Hamilton: Well now that's an eerie sheet. You definitely depicted the horror of him basically being subsumed entirely by the concept he created to the point where his own voice is drowned out. Would Gaslighter's Grand Narrative go so far as bypassing defensive Skills and NPs since his attacks aren't recognized as such (sorta' like Vlad's bloodsucking)? Also any thoughts on my Eurypylus?

Defensive Skills yes, high-ranking innate defensive NPs like God Hand might cancel it out though.

I'd actually never heard of Eurypylus before, but his legend sounds interesting, and the integration of him into his actual Class is quite seamless

Thanks for clarification and feedback. Eurypylus is pretty obscure yeah, I only even found him from a list jishara made of names for possible Trojan War Servants a while back. Incidentally I imagine in the Lancer Class he'd have a more stoical personality to humorously contrast being roped into serving as ambassador for the god of festivities (who would actually be Dionysus and not Gloon, tagging along in the form of a dolphin a la Artemis and Orion).

I must thank both Nails and Del (my eternal muse) for inadvertently giving me the idea of this Servant. A little more to Del for finding him after I started looking. Two musicians in a row. Unexpected.

The man lifts his hands from the ivories.

"Okay. Now, I would like you to play it yourself. Don't worry. I choose a simple piece for your first lesson."

Mostly melodic notes flow through the air, though, with every mistake, he begins to twitch slightly.

"Stop! Stop. I... Just... try it again. Slower if you need to."

She begins again, but she manages to somehow to get new notes wrong. He endures it for as long as he can until

"I think it's time we take a break! YOU CAN GO GET SOMETHING! BE BACK IN FIVE!"

The girl hurries out of the room, leaving him alone with the piano.
"IT WAS A SIMPLE FIVE NOTES! HOW DID SHE GET THEM WRONG EVERY TIME!

He hurls the piano through the wall, his screams echoing out for the fifth time that day. Perhaps he will last longer than ten minutes when she returns.
I don't ask for much! Only that it's done right!

    Class: Berserker
    Other Classes: Caster
    True Name: Georg Friedrich Händel
    Alignment: Lawful Good
    Place of Origin: Austria
    Height: 183 cm.
    Weight: 174 kilo.
Likes: Composition. Playing things ‘correctly’. Children.
Dislikes: Imperfect playing. Being unable to compose.
    Natural Enemy: John Gay

    Parameters:
    STR: B
    END: B
    AGI: E-
    MGI: A
    LCK: C
    NP: A

    Class Skills:
    Mad Enhancement (C-):
In life, Berserker was a cheerful and charitable gentleman. However, one of the few things that could set him off was improperly played music. This habit has been noted by several historians and writers of the time, to the point that any orchestra he conducted had to tune their instruments before he arrived as to not set him off. On one famous occasion, someone sneaked in and untuned the instruments, causing Berserker to go into a rage when they began playing and begin physically assaulting them.

Owing to this, Mad Enhancement only activates when Berserker believes something is ‘imperfect’. While only applying to music in life, it has been exasperated by being summoned as a Servant. Now, anything from an object being in what he believes to be the wrong position or someone making a wasteful action can set him off, increasing his Strength and Endurance by two ranks.

This was a byproduct of his Origin: Technique.

    Personal Skills:
Lascia la Spina, Cogli la Rosa (C):
Leave the Thorn, Take the Rose

Perhaps his most famous aria, the piece is about a captive woman telling her captor, who has declared love for her, that it is her sorrow from being a prisoner, not his affection for her, that should make him release her.

A sorrowful lament that captured hearts with its simplicity and emotion, this Skills is a passive ability that spreads Berserker’s mood to those around him. When Berserker is calm or happy, those around him inherently feel that way. This, however, means Berserker’s rage has a high chance of infecting everyone around him, something that could further feed his rage and conjure an even worse situation.

    Dixit Dominus (B):
The Lord said unto my Lord:
Sit thou on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.

The first psalm setting berserker ever wrote was also his first piece of Latin church music, a path that would eventually lead him to one of his greatest compositions, Messiah.

Just as the psalm is a declaration of God protecting and destroying one’s enemies, so too does this Skill protect Berserker from evil and demonic enemies, also giving advantage against those targets.

    Technique Elucidation (A):
While he was a true musical genius with a wide catalog of original music, Berserker was also known for taking segments and pieces of music from other artists and integrating them into his own works. Yes, he made use of other people’s material, but it was only with his pen that the borrowings became merged into a whole new finished artwork and became great music.

Berserker is able to copy and ‘improve’ on the musical pieces of other Servants, producing stronger effects from playing the same music as theirs. However, these ‘improvements’ usually alter the effects of the music to fit Berserker’s own perception of “what they should do”.

    Noble Phantasm

Zadok the Priest: God Save the King (C)
    Anti-Unit

One of his most famous pieces made for the coronation of George II, Zadok the Priest has been the coronation anthem for every monarch that has been crowned in England since then.

Having been crystallized into his weapon, taking on many forms related to pianos from organs to clavichords. While he is highly like to simply swing the full-sized instruments as weapons, he has a habit of changing it to a modified clavichord with a blade when he has more of his senses.

This weapon is usually just a practically indestructible instrument (perfect for bludgeoning enemies), but its true power comes from its Kingmaker effect. If Berserker allows another person to use it, something he might never do, they gain Skills generally associated to kings and rulers so long as they wield it. Sadly, the weapon will disappear with Berserker.

Messiah: And He Shall Reign Forever and Ever Hallelujah! (A)
    Anti-Army

I would be sorry to have only entertained my audience. I wished to make them better.

Widely believed to be his greatest work, Messiah is a three-part oratorio that encompasses the entire life of Jesus and his return as stated in Revelations at the Day of Judgement. Even within this most famous work is something that even surpassed it: the Hallelujah chorus. This single chorus is one of the most well-known and used piece of music in his entire portfolio.

An explosion of force and divine energy, Berserker’s music is a weapon meant to glorify his God, doing so in the most extravagant way possible. While powerful on its own, its strength increases exponentially the more voices are added to it. Those under the effects of Dixit Dominus are inherently compelled to join their voices to his music, and the Noble Phantasm itself has a strong mental effect that makes other want to join in even if they themselves are the target.

    Lore

Georg Friedrich Händel was the son of a surgeon who knew the first moment he heard the church choir that he wanted to make music. Georg had set his course firmly under the encouragement of his school’s headmaster, something that was said to be alarming to his father. It was even said he has to sneak a musician into his attic to practice, as his father had forbidden it.

However, something must have changed as, by the time he was eight, his father had arranged for him to be taught by the only music teacher he would have in his life, Friedrich Wilhelm Zachow. It was Zachow that cultivated his talent and passion, introducing him to many different forms of music from Italy and Germany. Even some more profane pieces despite his employment as the church organist.

I used to write like the Devil in those days

Sadly, three years later, Händel’s father died, leaving only his wish that Händel “dedicted himself to the arts”. It’s rather ambiguous if this was a change in his father’s view or that his opposition was a misinterpretation by historians, but It’s clear that Händel committed himself fully to his art from this moment on.

After graduating from the newly founded University of Halle, Händel would produce his two earliest operas in Hamburg before moving over to Italy where he would make some of his more famous works like Dixit Dominus and Agrippina which thunderstruck his audiences. However, his popularity would not reach its peak until his next destination.

In London, Händel quickly became the chapel master of prince George, rubbing elbows with the nobility and became a well known name even before the opera that propelled him to stardom. After Rinaldo premiered, there was hardly anyone who didn’t know the name Händel. For the next twenty years, Händel would dominate the musical scene with each new opera, even being tasked with composing what became the most famous coronation song in the world for George II.

However, it was after these twenty years and a bout of rheumatic palsy that Händel created his masterpiece, Messiah. Even as he continued to compose music, from operas to oratorios, Messiah dominated the cultural sphere the rest of his life.

His last ten years were a sorrowful affair. After performing in Germany, he was injured in a carriage accident that stole the sight from one eye. A failed surgery only exasperated the injury and soon robbed him of his eyesight completely. Unable to do what he loved for 10 years, he died on the night he attended as performance of Messiah upon returning home. A rather poetic end, all things considered.

Händel is a noble, gentle man who is generally friendly to those around him. When not under the effects of Mad Enhancement, one would be surprised that he’s a Berserker. He even has a particularly soft spot for children. He also finds no shame in borrowing the music of others, as it was a fairly common practice back in his time, seeing it as a win for the both of them as he 'perfects' it. After all, it's in the name of creating greater music.

However, the man is a completely different person when it comes to music. Severe, unwavering, and prone to bouts of anger, Händel is like a completely different person whenever music comes into the picture. A force of nature focused on the perfection of the art. He has no time for flaws, mistakes, or failure. If it can’t be done perfectly, it has no reason to be done at all.

Even in his rage, he can still somewhat contain himself. He refuses to harm children, and he can be assuaged by quickly correcting the mistake one has made. Praise and apology mean nothing to him. All that matters is being better. And, if you can’t get better, you may as well not exist.

    Relationships

    Ludwig van Beethoven:

    Ludwig van Beethoven:

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart: I find little wrong in your renditions, and you utilize them well. Excellent job.

Sergei Rachmaninoff: This is how you wield a piano!

Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky: So much excellent music! So much to improve upon!

Daniel Steibelt: Yes... there's some good pieces here I can use.
Daniel seethes in a corner, plotting his inevitable revenge

    Craft Essence

    The Foundling House
"The home for education and maintenance of exposed and deserted young children."

Could there be a more worthy cause?

These young ones who have experienced troubled lives. A donation feeds their stomachs, but what I hope to feed is their souls.

And so I play. I play for them, so that they may be filled. With hope. With dreams. With a future unshackled by their origin.

I play, and perhaps, I play for myself.

    Are you watching, Father?

    Creator Notes

    "By throwing it."

I was surprised when I found him. Guy's an incredible perfectionist, has an explosive temper, and he's also the one who made the Messiah, was otherwise a gentle and charitable man, and apparently was an inspiration for both Mozart and Beethoven. he kinda hit from left field and just kept swinging that piano.

Do you like jazz short stories? Do you want something to distract from making Servants? Do you wish the idea of Shirou Kotomine didn't immediately bring edgelords to mind? Well, I can't promise it's good, but some would disagree with me.

    Traits:
Anti-Hero: Dante can be considered a kind of Anti-Hero as one who stands against the heavens and the morality of his era. However, he cannot be considered a demon at the level of this particular incarnation.
Author: Attested as a great writer and poet, it is impossible to disentangle Dante from this status, even if it is not the aspect of the writer who has manifested.
Divine: Although he does not possess the corresponding skill and the advantages that come with it, Dante does indeed have a divine element nested within his spiritual constitution, and thus suffers penalties versus abilities that are effective against Divinity.
███████: As Evenstar Vesperus, he possesses a nature in proper accordance with a divided spirit of the ███████████, although it has been sealed.

    Class SkillsClass Skills

    Territory Infringement B++

The class skill of the Watcher class, allowing the holder to bypass boundaries and barriers to proceed unmolested across spaces. In the case of the one who impossibly crossed through the three netherworlds, his ability to transgress and trespass is among the highest of all Heroic Spirits. That said, it is hardly omnipotent, as he required a guide at every step of the way, and even then was unable to access certain places.
    Magic Resistance B

The capacity to nullify Magecraft and magical effects up to Rank A. While venturing even through the depths of hell, Dante was able to resist its corruptive influences at every stage, simply watching the other souls present go about their tortures. The ability that he demonstrates to negate hostile Magecraft is thus not something granted to him by his container, but something innate possessed in life.

    Personal SkillsPersonal Skills

    Watcher —

A reflection of his unique contract with the Master as a member of the Watcher class. However, the relative strangeness of the pact is low - Dante is accustomed to being paired with others, and is rarely anything other than perfectly present. The skill seems to be here in a nominal sense only. Perhaps his second Noble Phantasm is sufficient to make up the difference, however.
    High-Speed Incantation C+

Dante boasts the ability to perform High-Thaumaturgy with single words. Constructing several thaumaturgical principles from his own experiences, his Magecraft is a unique blend of ancient and more recent influences. His magical aptitude is fairly intense due to being the origin of a Foundation that has gained ground all over the world, even infiltrating the doctrine of the Church.
    Crossing Hades B

A rare skill possessed by Dante, symbolising his ordained journey through hell itself and the rejection of its sins, known for the inscription that warned him away: “Abandon all hope, ye who enter here”. It represents his conquering of the shadows of the netherworld, rendering him resistant to corruptive influences on the body, mind, and soul.

Poisons, confusions, and curses will not take root within him: this is not an ordinary resistance, but a qualified immunity that neutralises deleterious forces on him on the basis of their Rank. Those of Rank A or below are nullified completely regardless of their nature, and modifiers to their Rank are ignored, rendering him totally immune to all demerits below Rank EX. Furthermore, a Luck bonus is applied.
    Uncrowned Arms Mastery —

Competency at arms that was not recognised in Dante’s lifetime by those around him for various reasons - even outside of his strange journey, his efforts as a soldier in battles against various factions across Florence often go unchronicled in his biographies. Due to this, all Ranks for parameters, skills, and even Noble Phantasms are all listed as one Rank lower than their actual values.
    Independent Manifestation —

██████████████████████████████████████████████████ ██████████████████████████████████████████████████ ████████████████████████████████████ As Evenstar Vesperus, Dante naturally holds this skill, but in name only, similar to the Watcher skill. Due to ████████████████████████████, he has rejected his status as █████, and thus the skill is sealed.

    Noble PhantasmNoble Phantasm

    Memento Mori
    LA VITA NUOVA

    Anti-Unit Class
    Rank D+

    Range: 0
    Max targets: 1 person

The first and most prized Noble Phantasm that Dante possesses. It is a magic grimoire that he carries with him, and within it is contained the spirit of Beatrice di Folco Portinari, or “Bice” as she prefers. The grimoire itself was originally a book of love poetry written by Dante toward her, and his feelings laid bare within have become known in their entirety to Bice herself now that she inhabits it, much to his embarrassment in no small measure.

Bice is functionally Dante's "second half", possessing the equal and opposite attribute to his own. She is Dawnstar Phosphorus, the rising light of Lucifer. She possesses the Knowledge of Good and Evil, thus the ability to learn all things - in other words, her very existence is enough to transform this book into an ultra-high class divination Mystic Code that can submit almost anything to analysis. She can even discern the True Name of Heroic Spirits that do not have the capacity to hide their identities, as well as the nature and names of the abilities that they display. She is able to see through skills like Presence Concealment to a degree, and shows Dante visions of the future in accordance with her standing as a sorcerer, the inspiration of Dante’s description of the Eighth Circle of Fraud and those who will be blinded at the end of time. Furthermore, Bice can contribute her Magic Circuits to Dante's own during their activation, granting his Magecraft a significant Rank Up.

During Bice's own manifestation as a Servant, this dynamic would reverse, with her own instance of this Noble Phantasm instead containing Dante's spirit. Essentially, the two of them come as a set. However, as a result of that, the vast majority of her abilities are sealed while Dante is the active Servant, leaving her with only her Magecraft.

    As Above, So Below
    TRE CERCHI

    Anti-Unit Class
    Rank B

    Range: 0~99
    Max targets: 1000 people

The circles, rings, and spheres steadily tick in accordance with the motions of the cosmos. In other words, the Prime Mover is extrapolated from the turning of the world. That is the highest principle upon which this Noble Phantasm rests. It is the crystallised expression of the cosmology that Dante established in his works; the circles of hell, the rings of purgatory, and the spheres of heaven. It is the materialisation of the Thaumaturgical Foundation outlined in the Divine Comedy, the book that became critical to the formation of practical religion through Europe and then the world by affixing itself into Christian doctrine using the language of the people. Dante's poetry openly broke from the Latin literature of the day, casting off olden tradition in favour of gaining the comprehension of the unlearned.

A three-dimensional array of three-dimensional magic circles that are imposed not upon the sky, but the stars, as well as the Earth and its bowels. In other words, a magical structure that emulates operations on the scale of the solar system by minimising it to a human-sized matrix. Incorporating a sphere of fixed stars upon the outermost layer, it can be called a miniature cosmos. However, just as Magic Circuits in the body are mere expressions, so too is the physical form of this Noble Phantasm nothing more than a simple image of the processes within Dante's own Magic Circuits. This is the source of the Anti-Unit classification, but for the same reason, it would be more properly considered as an Anti-World type Noble Phantasm. As Dante himself once wrote:

“My own wings were not enough for this, had it not been that then my mind there smote a flash of lightning, wherein came its wish. Here vigour failed the lofty fantasy: but now was turning my desire and will, even as a wheel that equally is moved, the
    God
    Love
which moves the sun and the other stars.”

The ending of Paradiso here recounts the moment in which Dante became one and the same as the highest cosmic order - that is, when he finally reached his true nature as one who would participate in the resurrection of ████ the Unified Light. Although he rejected that role, that nature remains: he persists as a fragment of a fallen Divinity who revolves the heavens, thus allowing the creation of such a Noble Phantasm.

What he is carrying is the trail of his pilgrimage: three
    Singularities
    segments of time
that have been removed from history and distorted, being made a part of his spiritual makeup. In terms of practical application, it is possible to "install" the Spirit Origins of those within these circles into himself, channelling and appropriating them through a means similar to a kind of degraded Demi-Servant. The various outputs of this power are essentially Divine Constructs in all but name, thus allowing Dante to recreate the various phenomena and Mysteries recorded within the Divine Comedy at one Rank lower than normal provided he has enough magical energy to properly emulate them. This even includes those native to other mythologies, such as the swiftness of Achilles or the fiery eyes of Charon.

Anything that would normally be higher than Rank A cannot be reproduced in full, and is thus downscaled accordingly. Likewise, anything that would normally be lower than Rank A cannot be scaled up, although it will act as a Divine Construct regardless of whether or not it originally was one, thus allowing Dante’s recreations to occasionally be even greater than the original. Due to the wide variety of heroes that he encountered on the course of his journey as well as his own experiences as a soldier and during his travels, Dante is able to act as potentially any class with reasonable effectiveness.

    The Florentine Fellows
The apprentices of Brunetto Latini, the foremost Magus in Florence in the latter half of the 13th century: Guido Cavalcanti, Lapo Gianni, Cino de Pistoia, and Dante Aligheri. Although dramatically different in age, the four and their mentor formed an almost familial bond, although the purposes of the group are largely unknown even among Magi. Even Rocks Road has its own group of Dante scholars.

    BackgroundBackground

Dante’s story began at a young age when he first encountered a girl named Beatrice di Folco Portinari. Though neither of them spoke to one another at first, the two instinctually understood that they were two halves of the same whole. His mother died one year later, and two years after that there was an arranged marriage with the daughter of the Donalti family. It was 1285 when Dante encountered Beatrice again, and she called out to him. Their exchange was brief.

That night, Dante was awoken by Beatrice and a figure in red, proclaiming itself as "his Lord". His room was in flames. The figure ripped out Dante's heart, forcing Beatrice to eat it. Unable to fight back, he found himself powerless. The incident was, of course, believed by nobody, and those around Dante began to doubt his sanity before he finally learned to shut up. But it was because he had spoken about it at all that he was confronted by a mysterious cohort. Led by an old man named Brunetto Latini, they claimed to be practitioners of Magecraft. Latini informed Dante that when he was ready to accept a world without God, he would be willing to teach him what had transpired that day. Cavalcanti, Latini's most senior apprentice, stayed in contact with Dante after that. Dante began to write a notebook, named later La Vita Nuova (The New Life), to organise his thoughts on the chaos around him.

Dante later fought at the Battle of Campaldino in 1289, helping to secure victory for the Guelphs in his home city of Florence. It was around this time that he noticed that his aging was quite different to how he had expected, continually growing stronger rather than levelling out as he matured. Shortly after, news came to him of Beatrice's death. This was the final straw, and he sought out Latini, whose surprise was thin. Dante studied under Latini for four years until his mentor's death, at which point his tutelage entered the hands of his daughter Bianca.

It was during these years that he discovered a conspiracy within Florence's government, and he entered politics with the intent to root it out while studying. Just one year after he reached the highest office in the city, he found himself in Rome on a delegation with Boniface VIII. The Pope informed him that the Black Guelphs were engaged in a military occupation of Florence, seizing Dante's property. He talked about Dante's "hallucination" of the figure in red, and commented that he hadn't met Dante since then. Apparently satisfied, he killed Dante on the spot.

Dante's soul was naturally displaced from his body, and the events that followed are unknown to history. The events, distorted for the convenience of Dante's Magecraft, were recorded in the Divine Comedy, noting the struggles between the dead, the fate of ancient heroes, and the nature of God. There is an apocryphal tale of Boniface's demise coming at his own hands, smashing his own brains out against a wall in a frenzy.

The Black Guelphs were driven out of Florence over a decade later, but Dante did not participate in the battle. Although the officer in control managed to force the city to grant amnesty to those who performed a public penance, Dante refused, having no desire to return. After his death in Ravenna, his legacy was profound, with his publications being the first in Europe to be written in the language of the common people, revolutionising the common image of the afterlife in Christianity to this day.

    PersonalityPersonality

    Likes: Beatrice, humanity, zeitgeists
Dislikes: Deceit, people, the Counter Force
    Talents: Misanthropy, interpretation
Natural enemy: the girl of shadows
    Alignment: Neutral Evil

Dante is calm, collected, and methodical. Although he comes across as a cynic, he is actually very much an idealist who believes in the human capacity to grow beyond their roots despite his condemnation of people as inherently evil. He is quick to criticise the powerful, but he himself aims not to intervene in temporal affairs where possible due to knowing that his values are inappropriate to the times in which he manifests. He serves as an observer first and foremost, or rather a Watcher.

He is quick to apply a Socratic method to even his conversations, challenging any assumption he hears even if he is aware that the person is unlikely to change their mind. Despite this habit, he is paradoxically not a particularly confrontational person, only actually engaging with conflict when he is directly made a target. He also has little patience for sophistry, striking down anything he perceives as intellectual sleight of hand, especially from the likes of theologians.

Dante keeps journals where he can, recording that which transpires with a poetic flair that does not quite grasp the accurate truth. He proclaims that he is unused to the work of a scribe, and he is far more interested in experience than he is in pure and cold fact. He therefore has great interest in the abstract and surreal forms of art that have emerged in the modern era, although he openly admits that he doesn't very well understand them, instead revelling in his experiences that they cause more than analysing the "truth" of such things.

Despite his feelings for Beatrice being well-known to everyone including the object of his admiration, he has yet to figure out exactly how to express this, leaving the impression of a shy young man bumbling blindly through his first love without a clue as to what to do. He has a great affection for Bice, and can be made to easily go on rambling tangents about her qualities, but is highly self-conscious about this when she is present.

It's quite obvious that his natural inclination is to give submissively, but given Bice's temperament, it isn't hard to imagine him playing another role in accordance with her preferences… Truly mysterious. He consults her for her opinions quite frequently, and he is deceptively dependent on her despite his almost adamant exterior, more so than he is even to his Master.

However, he does not hesitate to speak fondly of his wife Gemma and his children either. When pressed, he simply thinks of it as a different kind of love, an emotional affection rather than a spiritual one like with Bice - both important, one more present and one more transcendental. He seems to have some regrets that Gemma is not a Heroic Spirit.

He is eager to teach when asked, but is a fairly average tutor. Regardless, he will happily do his best to pass on what he knows, both philosophically and in terms of Magecraft, to the living. While he has doubts about connecting with artists through their creations, he believes that it is perfectly acceptable to offer clarification in the case of one who seeks to educate. However, because those who ask for his guidance are often disappointed by his perspective, his eagerness generally turns quickly into dejection.

Dante Alighieri: Although I am quite new to Beast's Lair, before I created an account, I looked throughout the other Create-A-Servant threads, seeing many Dante sheets. Though, this is perhaps one of my favourites. One question: Is there a reason why certain bits of text are blanked out? Is it possible to reveal them?

There are... spoilers. Dante has some secrets that he's not entirely ready to spill just yet. But he will, in due time. Maybe with a bit of investigation, I've already given enough away in another sheet that you can figure out some more Lore™️.

    Class: Rider
    Other Classes: N/A
    True Name: Ferdinand von Zeppelin
    Alignment: Lawful Neutral
Place of Origin: Germany (19th Century)

    Parameters:

    STR: D
    END: B
    AGI: D
    MGI: D
    LCK: C
    NP: C

    Height: 191cm
    Weight: 110lbs
    Likes: Flight (of imagination)
Dislikes: People who stay close to the ground
    Talent: Creating airships
    Natural Enemy: Kingprotea
    Attribute: Man
Traits: Human, Male, Weak to Enuma Elish
    Armament: A rifle
    Catalyst: A zeppelin

    Class Skills:

Magic Resistance E: He never encountered magic in life, so gains a bare minimum of this class skill.

Riding C+: He is fairly capable at riding steeds and vehicles, but with flying entities, this ranks up severely, allowing him to be able to pilot them very well.

    Personal Skills:

Zeppelin Donation B: He gained "Zeppelin donations" every time his zeppelins failed which he used to work towards building the next zeppelin. As a skill, whenever he has a major failure, as long as he still maintains a chance of success, he will immediately gain a refund of some mana, increasing the closer he was to victory.

Reconeissance Ride B: He went up in reconeissance rides during the Civil War of the United States, as an observer sent by Germany. This grants him this skill, permitting him to cloak himself in concealment for a short time, making him hard to detect. However, this disappears the moment he attacks or gets attacked. But this is made harder because any attack that hits him during this time has to be able to hit at least thirty meters farther then he actually is.

Generalleutenant C-: He was granted the rank of Generalleutenant, a very high rank in the German army. However, he was forced to retire from the army due to catastrophic failures, though he kept the rank. This would normally grant him Military Tactics at the same rank and Charisma at a rank below, but due to his failures, military tactic has also dropped to D.

    Noble Phantasm(s):

    Zeppelin
    Take Flight

    Type: Anti-Army
    Rank: C
    Range: 30 meters
    Max Targets: 100 Targets

The sublimation of his greatest invention, the Zeppelin, a type of airship which dominated the market almost immediately due to its ease of use and practicality. As a noble phantasm, this allows him to materialize a zeppelin, which can go through the sky at his command, though it is far slower when going against the wind. In addition, he can take many people with him onto the Zeppelin, soaring away and high....

Lore: Count Ferdinand Von Zeppelin (1838-1917) was a German general who was most noted for inventing the Zeppelin. He also founded the company Luftshiffvau Zeppelin. During the american civil war, he was an official observer, and did reconeissance flights. After he was fired from the army, he worked on airships.

Personality: He is utterly obsessed with flight and aeronautical travel, both literally and also metaphorically, so he dislikes people who are "grounded", refusing to dream or soar. He is also constantly utilizing hsi Noble Phantasm as much as he can to stay away from the ground. His wish is to be able to never have to touch down.

    Relationships:

Kingprotea: "Poor soul, physically bound to the earth."

Abigail Williams: "Your soaring has turned into sinking, hasn't it?"

Sessyoin Kiara: "Your dreaming has been cut off before its time... how awful."

Artoria: "You needn't let go of your dream."

Astolfo: "It's so wonderful to fly, isn't it?"

Castor and Pollux: "You are able to fly on your own? How incredible."

Ooooh! Is this the long awaited sequel to the AMAZING [God] sheet?!? Does this mean we can expect a counterpart to that Beast anytime soon? I doubt it but just in case, does this sheet have any connection to the world of last call? If not it's cool cuz this is a great interpretation of Dante.

P.S. Incidentally, do you ever plan on making a compendium of all your non-last call Servants if you ever have the time? Took me way too long to to find [God] again.

Heime. This one was a really cool sheet. The only thing that kind of confused me was that he had Brisingamen, but you explained that already. Also, out of sheer curiosity, is there a reason why he wants to be called "Ludwig" specifically, or were you just going for a generic old-ish name.

Eurypylus. I really liked this sheet, my only small piece of criticism I have is that because I know pretty much nothing about Hippopotamus Lovecraft's Mythos I have no idea what or who Gloon is beyond big sea slug, so at least a small explanation would've been a bit nice.

Hamilton/Gaslight. An immediately unlikeable Servant, but that's a feature, not a bug. I think it's a really creative sheet, particularly the NP is one I absolutely haven't ever seen at all. Good job on this one!

Händel. An ironic name, considering what he consistently flies off of. I thought this sheet was quite funny, and his piano-sword is such an off the wall weapon that I can see it being a thing in Fate proper.

    Zeppelin. "Und ve hav Zeppelins!"
A quite nice sheet that I really liked, though I think the NP is a bit short. That definitely seems like something that you could've gotten a lot more out of. Otherwise a really good job.

I did this on the train on my phone, which made it really difficult to read Dante. I swear I'll getto him when I get back home.

    Avenger - Hector Berlioz

    Avenger of the Orchestra

"I put everything into my music, my life, my love, my darkened heart. If you can't see its majesty, there's a seat in Hell's auditorium for you!"

    (By Maekawa Suu)

    Alt Image, large(by ppakunak)

    True Name: Hector Berlioz
Alt. Classes: Caster, Berserker, Archer (Gunner), Assassin, Faker, Voyager (Alter Ego) as their character in Symphonie Fantastique
    Source: History
    Region: France
Catalyst: Original sheet music for Symphonie Fantastique’s Idee fixe.
Armament: Baton given to them by Felix Mendelssohn, guitar given by Paganini, personal pistol

Character: One of the most ground-breaking composers of the 19th century, up there with Liszt, Wagner, and Debussy, but also one of the most controversial. While attitudes towards them have softened recently, back in their day their music was either beloved or despised, with little if any judgment in between. A main point of contention even today is just how difficult Berlioz’s compositions are to even perform, with orchestras having an easier time with Wagner pieces no less.

Berlioz’s own personality doesn’t help matters, as they’ll often overhype their abilities and go for disproportionate retribution after being slighted. They’re convinced people just have it out for the name ‘Berlioz’, that if any other composer penned their music everyone would love it. Speaking of which, they can warm up significantly to anyone who is a fan of them, as they were close with the similarly extravagant Liszt, and surprisingly their total opposite Felix Mendelssohn, in life.

It can be difficult delving into Berlioz’s life story as they themselves did a great deal to obfuscate it by telling tall tales. Stand-out ones include them taking their gun and joining in the 1830 Revolution, quitting medical school on their first day, or the infamous incident where they tried to murder pianist Maria Moke and her suitor for being spurned, while Berlioz was dressed as a French maid. In a Grail War, this can develop into exaggeratedly claiming to be Servants and Classes they obviously aren’t even when not summoned as Faker, saying that Paganini also arranged them a contract with Lucifer, or even that they totally arranged to have people who disliked their music killed.

Berlioz was someone who on more than one occasion went out of their way to present as female, notably growing their hair out to pass as a woman in their teenage years, and later their plan to disguise themselves as a French maid. Their openness about this contrasts with other composers of the time who tried to keep their feminine tendencies a secret, like Wagner wearing lingerie or Tchaikovsky’s ‘Petronila’ identity. Hence Avenger is very keen to spend their new lease on life experimenting with gender by donning female attire, such as maid outfits again but also as witches and demonesses, given the content of Symphonie Fantastique. If pressed they may say their gender is male on reflex, but it’s unclear is if their final answer, hence them going by they/them for now.

On having to pick a female name to ‘complete the disguise’ as it were, Avenger would probably go with an appropriately musical name like ‘Viola’ or even ‘Symphonia’, as ‘Louise’ is too obvious, and they wouldn’t even know the female version of Hector (Hecate?) With a maid being one of their go-to costumes, they’ll even act out a maid role by offering to cook and clean, though don’t expect their ideas of ‘fine dining’ or a ‘clean room’ to be remotely normal.

Them being a composer and conductor, one would assume that their magecraft or magecraft-like effects come from their music, but one would assume wrong. As intense a musician as they are, their actual magic-like specialty lies in illusions, with the likes of Debussy even saying that Avenger composed ‘only the illusion of music’. With Symphonie Fantastique being their most famous work, the most powerful illusions Avenger can conjure are those related to Hell and execution, though they’ll go back and forth on claiming whether these are just ‘illusions’ or not.

    Attribute: Beast
    Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
Likes: Conducting, crossdressing (particularly as maids and witches), massive orchestras of at least 200, tall tales, guitar and flute
Dislikes: Pianos, surgery, Rome, other people conducting their works, criticism given and received

    Relationships:

    • Jeanne: “People in your time feared you being a witch, but when I call myself a witch today, people just laugh!”
    • Brynhildr: “Oh I can show you far more than just killing your beloved.”
    • Mozart: “Sorry, afraid Beethoven’s made you obsolete.”
    • Catherine Morland: “It may be just an illusion, but who cares? The best illusions are indistinguishable from reality.”
    • Goethe: “Oh my, you’re here too? This is such an honour, you don’t how much of your work I’ve read! Please, let me shake your hand, huh?”
    • C.S. Lewis: “What a waste of illusion, using them to see almost exclusively God.”
    • Baudelaire: “It’s not like Paris has fallen, when was that city any good to begin with?”
    • Amedee Mereaux: “Why write difficult works for solo piano when there are whole orchestras to push the limits of?”
    • Patrick Hamilton: “S-shut up! I’ll be in charge of what’s real or not around here!”

Master: Anyone who feels underappreciated like Waver, or lovestruck over someone incompatible with them like Kariya, or appropriately witchy like Alice Kuonji.
Natural Enemy: George Templeton Strong. Music traditionalists like Brahms or Clara Schumann, the latter may additionally be to Avenger’s jealousy of Clara’s womanhood. Even fellow radicals like Debussy.
Wish: For any of their music to be performed by the world’s biggest orchestra to the world’s most adoring audience.

    Parameters
    • Strength: ***** E
    • Endurance: ***** D
    • Agility: ***** C
    • Magic: ***** C
    • Luck: ****** D
    • NP: ***** B

    Class Skills

    Avenger

Capacity to generate resentment in oneself and others, allowing for Mana recovery while attacking and being attacked.
    • Rank B: Berlioz was one of the most scorned and despised musicians of his lifetime, though still had notable defenders. Likewise, they had little patience for their own detractors and often wrote scornfully about others, and especially despised other conductors performing their works.

    Oblivion Correction

Ability of an Avenger to never forget and never forgive. Critical hits are strengthened.
    • Rank D: As resentful and resented as Avenger could be, they did possess a capacity to let go of their grudges and obsessions, like getting over Harriet or cutting short their assassination plans. Given their low Rank, Avenger often utilises Mendelssohn’s baton as a ‘memory aid’ to activate this skill. Critical sonic blasts deal x1.75 damage up from x1.5.

    Self-Replenishment (Mana)

Replenishes mana while one’s revenge remains unfulfilled.
    • Rank D: Avenger claim their ‘revenge’ would be forcing people listen to their compositions until coming to enjoy it. The less Avenger’s music is appreciated, the faster their mana regenerates, with them using any spare mana to fuel their Familiars Skill.

    Personal Skills

    Enchant (Instruments)

Endowment of concepts to items, in this case to musical instruments.
    • Rank A: Avenger was known for repeatedly taking overlooked instruments and giving them a place in the orchestra. Such as having the viola take centre stage in Harold in Italy, the English horn in Symphonie Fantastique, or taking the popular but non-orchestral piano and adding it to the orchestra in Lelio. This can increase a viola’s Rank by making it a ‘lead instrument’, boost the earshot range of an English horn, and increase a piano’s sync with other instruments.

    Familiars (Infernal)

Summoning and control of familiars from Hell.
    • Rank A: Like they’re the leader of a coven, Avenger can call up wraiths, demons, and witches to have them all act as members of an orchestra. If it weren’t for Mana constraints, Avenger would eagerly summon up to a thousand orchestra members. Of course, given Avenger’s nature, there’s the questions of whether these are actual infernal denizens playing real music, or just illusions playing illusionary music?

    Innocent Monster (Self)

One whose existence has a Servant has become altered by their reputation and rumours… that they engineered themselves.
    • Rank C: Avenger can alter their legend and therefore Saint Graph with wild claims like having been a revolutionary, planned an assassination, or going into the supernatural, being the grand witch of an infernal coven and having been to Hell. Like Imperial privilege, this allows them to gain skills they normally wouldn’t have but may not convince anyone who knows their True Name.

    Single-Mindedness (Love)

Ability to superfocus on a goal when the main motivator is affection and yearning.
    • Rank C: In their youth, they had a nigh total obsession with the opera singer Harriet Smithson, inspiring them to compose Symphonie Fantastique and then holding on seven years till she agreed to their marriage. However, their relationship eventually began to break apart, and Avenger wrote Lelio as a sign of getting over her. Another affair also inspired them to plan a murder, but this was cut short if even true.

(A/N: Skills that didn’t make the cut were Appreciation of the Arts, Illusion Arts as their NP covers it, Protection of the Music God since it may be redundant, and Camouflage.)

    Noble Phantasms

    Symphonie Fantastique
    Dream of a Witches’ Sabbath

    Rank: B
    Type: Anti-Army
    Range: Earshot
Max. Targets: As many as can fit into a standard concert hall

While Berlioz had multiple great compositions, like the viola spotlight Harold of Italy or the gargantuan Aeneid-based opera Les Troyens, by far the single best known of their compositions is the Symphonie Fantastique: a five-part programmatic symphony revolving around the hallucination of killing your beloved, watching yourself be executed, then being tortured in Hell.

This Noble Phantasm requires Avenger to have learned the identity of their Target’s most beloved person beforehand, which tends to involve learning the Target’s True Name first, though the Phantasm can just as easily be used on Masters. As it is an Anti-Army Phantasm being performed by an orchestra, it can be used on multiple Targets if Avengers knows each of their beloveds.

Knowing the Target’s beloved, Avenger’s symphony can create a three-part illusion where the Target sees their beloved’s corpse, witnesses their own death on account of having killed them, then waking up in Hell (or, if Avenger is aware of the Target’s homeland, Hades, Naraka, Jigoku, etc.) This final part of the illusion sees the beloved summoned as a more powerful form of Avenger’s Familiars, now corrupted by Hell and there to attack the Target. As examples, this could force Lancelot to fight Guinevere, Diarmuid to fight Grainne, or Gilgamesh to fight Enkidu.

If the symphony is successfully performed and the illusion successfully cast, then if the target walks away, they’ll do so with their own legend rewritten so that they really did kill their beloved, get executed, then go to Hell for it, like an inflicted form of Innocent Monster. Of course, this is much less effective on Servants who did any of these things in their legend, not that this Phantasm won’t serve as a searing traumatic reminder of that.

A specific reason why Symphonie Fantastique has risen to become Avenger’s Phantasm may be not just due to the piece’s fame in general, but its premiere. While not to Berlioz’s ideal, having to work with around ninety less musicians than they envisioned, it was still one of the most successful premieres their music ever had, a rare time when their music was unanimously loved.

Incidentally, the similarities this Phantasm has to Shakespeare’s First Folio may be intentional on Avenger’s part, given even though Berlioz could barely read Shakespeare’s original English, they were a massive fan of the bard nevertheless.

Heime calling himself "Ludwig" initially upon being summoned was just a call-back to the part of the story where he used that as a pseudonym whilst in hiding as a monk. Don't think too hard about it.

When the cloud of dust clears in the summoning circle, a young girl stands before you shyly holding out a notepad over her face. [I'm Servant Caster. I likes riddles a lot and I'd love to be of service to you but... I have trouble speaking with new people so... please be gentle with me.]

    Caster of Riddles
    :

    Appearance:

    Source

    Alignment: Neutral Good

    Strength- E
    Agility- D
    Endurance- E
    Mana- B
    Luck- C
    NP- B

    Personality
A sweet and shy girl who never speaks and converses by writing messages on her trusty notepad. She adores riddles and due to her social awkwardness will sometimes end up communicating entirely in them, requiring her partner to decipher her cryptic utterances to speak with her. Despite her shyness Caster would be elated to encounter anyone who loves riddles as much as her and likely challenge them to a contest to compare skills. Conversely she dislikes people who don't appreciate the beauty and power of words or have no respect for a women's intellect. Caster also greatly admires other Heroic Spirits of great wisdom and will tend to fangirl if she's summoned alongside them. Caster's wish on the Holy Grail is simply to incarnate in the World so she can continue composing riddles.

Likes: riddles, great sages, helping people
Dislikes: public speaking, those who disrespect words or women
Talents: giving wise council, service, riddles
Natural Enemy: most Berserkers (since they're unable to understand her riddles)

    Class Skills:

    Territory Creation- B
The ability to formulate a territory advantageous to oneself as a Magus. At this rank, creation of a "Symposium Hall" akin to the one she attended in life becomes possible.

    Item Construction- E
A talent to craft items tinted in magical energy. The only things Caster "created" were her riddles, not physical items so she only has the lowest rank in this Skill by virtue of her Class Container.

    Personal Skills:

    Attendant Of The Sage- B
Legend tells that Caster travelled alongside one of the seven sages of Greece Thales in her girlhood. Her experience as companion to the great philosopher has lead to Caster picking up an affinity for some of his Magecraft. As Thales taught that water was the underlying
    Archē
    principle
of all things she specializes in spells evoking elements of flow and fluidity.

Caster can impart other materials the properties of water such as diving through solid stone like mud, conjure a "primordial tide" that decomposes matter and in her strongest spell briefly liquify herself into "living water" that's able to phase through attacks and slip through the tiniest cracks before reforming. Incidentally the quality of water that perpetually flows and changes shape can be seen as alluding to the polysemous nature of her riddles which take on different meanings depending on how one interprets them.

Furthermore this Skill allows Caster to sense individuals of great wisdom in her vicinity and gain a rank-up to Agility and Endurance while accompanying them.

    Riddle Master- A+
A talent for spinning up riddles and word-games. At A+ rank Caster can easily compose a fiendish riddle to describe any situation she finds herself in. As the Classical world's most legendary riddler Caster boasts a high proficiency in this Skill. She's sometimes suspected to have been invented as a personification of a female riddler rather than a historical figure. While normally useless in combat this becomes a primary means of attack through her Noble Phantasm.

    Silent Symposium- B
A Skill Caster obtains not from her own feats but rather the writings of people after her, akin to Innocent Monster. She was described by Plutarch as remaining silent at the banquet attended by her father's guests and when Cleodorus derided the worth of her riddles as a literary genre it was the fabulist Aesop who spoke up to defend her by quoting one she'd posed earlier that day. This Skill enforces a curse that keeps Caster from speaking a word from the moment she's summoned. In turn she exerts an aura that inspires others to think favorably about her and act on her behalf.

    Noble Phantasm
    Aínigma Tis Sfíngas
    Root Of The Primeval Enigma

    Rank: B

    Type: Anti-Unit

A Noble Phantasm acknowledging Caster's status as the historic counterpart to the mythical Sphinx of Thebes who presented travelers with a riddle and devoured those unable to answer. Rather than that particular riddle, which has ironically become so famous anyone would recognize it, this simply instantiates the concept of a "riddle contest with life and death in the balance". Once invoked (which briefly seals her Silent Symposium Skill as she speaks in a voice that affects the World itself) it allows Caster to convert the confusion of her unsolved riddles into physical damage. Upon presenting a riddle and a time-frame for the opponent to solve it, if they fail to do so they'll suffer an unavoidable attack resembling being slashed by bestial claws.

However the damage dealt by this strike scales based on both the complexity of the riddle and time given to solve it. The easier to solve the riddle and the longer the timeframe the stronger her attack, but in turn it becomes easier to evade making this Noble Phantasm a delicate balance of risk and reward. The max time set is five minutes and Caster can't pose more than one enigma at a time.

So here's the Cleobulina sheet I'd teased yesterday. As usual comments and critiques would be welcome. Thanks for reading y'all!
