New digimon has slick as hell animation and was pretty fun, but the lack of a hype evolution song, the OP being 99.9% Taichi wank and worst of all the fact that instead of the original adventures and ps1 era games awesome digiworld aesthetic they went with the fucking soulless, ugly, boring shit cyber sleuth aesthetic leaves me with huuuuge red flags. Have to see how it develops from here.
8 episodes of Jashin-chan out at once?
All of them now. They decided to do the batch release Netflix thing. Rikekoi was the same, but it was limited to Amazon japan and nobody subbed the batch, so the rest of the world go it weekly. Jashin-chan however didn't get said restrictions and was batch released on CR as wel

For shows I'm watching:
Bakarina- otome game Isekai give me a headache as an otome fan and I'm still salty that my favourite series in the batch had shit sales while trash in this subgenre thrive, but Bakarina itself was rather fun when I read it years back. The production values are pretty great as is the adapting of the source material unlike standard otoge anime and the op is stuck in my head.
Bookworm- first episode looks a bit offcompared to the last one but it was still enjoyable as always. Op and ed are also good.
Furuba- a weird chapter to start the season with but I don't dislike it. I'm not feeling the op but I love the ed. Looking forward to the tears!
Kashukigoto- the section where they asked the MC to draw precure just because he's a manga artist is a fucking mood. That said I didn't find it particularly funny and only chuckled like once or twice but it's a cute show.
What's this negative things?
Btw didn't know that Princess Connect air this season

Oregairu is delayed and they're airing a recap of last season in it's place, so I doubt we'll see it until Summer.
I was almost interested in Shadowverse, but then I heard that it was essentially Shadowverse the Trading Card Game the anime, rather than Shadowverse the anime.

Not really. Point is attracting kids and advertising the card game. Hear the Shadowverse story doesn't actually have card battles, so that's a no-go as the product's the card game not the story or characters.
Thus, the anime being a card fight show for children makes sense. It certainly follows the trend of every other card game to get anime. If you're already into Shadowverse, the anime isn't for you

1st impressions Round 2!:
Girls Und Baseball: I can't really take anything here seriously when the MC's trauma stems from a girl who both doesn't care enough to play but also doesn't want to be embarrassed. Pick one dammit.
Wave, Listen to me: Hot damn, That actress really gave it her all to basically monologue that whole episode in such high energy. Also better bears than Golden Kamuy. This is definitely a good one.
Listeners: Goddamn that OST. Gonna keep watching just for that.
Tsugumomo S2: Same as season 1, really stupid, but in the fun way where it leans into the absurity, rather than treat it straight.
Gleipnir: So Were-mascots. That's a thing I guess. Five seconds in, the minute I saw the vending machine, I assumed it was a death game. Everyone's got wide, frog-like faces so I'm leaning towards horror, all the better to show slasher smile and mindbreak screames. Weird enough for me to see where it goes.
President, Time for Battle: Wow, that's a dude? He looks like Haruhi. Super generic otherwise. Is it based on a mobile game? It feels like it's based on a mobile game. The sudden mechanics explation, mixed with the "hey! you look cool, be our boss" plot.
Princess Connect: I can really feel the mobile games aura coming off this one. That said, making the SI a barely functioning moron is a new take. Nothing real special, but I chuckled at a few of the gags, like the wolves, or the mini-shroom, or the gullible princess (I was so sure it was going to be a pit trap, not a distract and grab). Cygames is really throwing money at their stuff nowadays though, so it'll probably be pretty throughout.
Zero Chronicle: Wow, the edge. This is breakneck speed too. From "Fuck you, I'm digging graves" to "I'll become Satan" in eight minutes.

Can't say for certain since without context it just sound3e vague. Though the thread I went to for it was several people saying "Who asked for this?????"
