Am I the only one that think she falls way behind other caster supports? Shes got nothing on Waver, Merlin or Skadi.
Should an arts support be made that acts most like the big 3 caster supports be made?

In general, yes. If looking at best support setups for farming, not really, though it's annoying that some of the absolute best Arts farming setups are reliant on 2-3 different SSR Servants to take off.Originally Posted by Ubergeneral

As for Tamamo, she's an excellent Servant. Above literally 98% percent of all the available Servants in the game. If they turned her second skill into something party oriented she'd be golden. Call it Fuwa Fuwa Fox Tail Embrace or some shit and have it dole out 20% charge to the party+defense (the added damage cut on top she would keep for herself).
I know why they don't do it, in their mind she has Amaterasu to dispense NP and it's great in certain scenarios but it's horrible in a farming context. Same deal with Fox Wedding providing healing rather than critical damage up; amazing skill, ofc, but less conducive to burst damage skills than Primeval Rune and Hero Creation.
All that being said, having her is a blessing on your account and she unlocks any Arts team's full potential.
I don't think she needs a third skill update when there are many more Servants that would kill for a skill update.

That said, it's annoying that most of her setups that I saw require FLB Kaleido.

Well she already had a skill (actually a NP being used as a skill for Extra) with the exact effect - Aphotic Cave. The question is whether they want to give her that.
Tamamo is going to get a big jump in power once she can give a team half of a regular black grail. The issue is that she isn't conductive to fast farming so you don't see her on supports too often. Which is a shame, because double Tamamo teams are incredible. That said if you have a Jeanne available, dps/tamamo/jeanne is a really powerful setup as well.

Nah. Her NP Damage Up is nice, but what really makes Art teams spike in effectiveness is when Nero Bride gets her skill buff. Probably the most annoying thing about Arts fast farming setups is how reliant on multiple SSRs they are, even when factoring in support.
On the bright side, Tamamois unlimited and non-story locked so you might just stumble upon her accidentally while you wait years for the next Merlin/Skadi rate up
