Was torn between Sanzang, Enkidu, and Nightingale. They all had enough positives/negatives that they were in basically a dead heat, with Sanzang barely edging the others out (like, out of 100, it'd be a 35/33/32 ratio).
The deciding factor was remembering Ereshkigal has a room line with Enkidu, so going for him. Also he does more NP damage without a super effective modifier than Tamamo Lancer does WITH a super effective modifier. He'll be comparable to NP5 Medusa Lily and Kenshin, so I'll have a Buster ST Lancer option.

I'd have liked to get Xuangzang or Jinako, but I have 0 Caster gems having just gotten Anastasia and realized how useful Aesculapius is .
I do have a ton of Berserker gems and Nightingale gives 2 interludes and a strengthening which will get me to 180 interludes for a nice 10 quartz.
Though abandoned, forgotten, and scorned as out-of-date dolls, they continue to carry out their mission, unchanged from the time they were designed.
Machines do not lose their worth when a newer model appears.

I've explained myself in the general thread, but I'm going to be boring and grab Waver because it'll make gameplay much better and I miss being able to use double karoshi. If I had him already, I'd grab either Karna or Jinako. Assuming another free SSR pick happens, then I'll go for one of the two.

I think I'd cry if that happened. NP2 Ody already spooked me during his rate-up on white day, so it's not like there's no precedence.
Like, back when the first "pick your free 4*" happened, I chose Helena because of her skills and not even a week later I rolled another copy of her. Right now I have her at NP3, and I swear to fucking god if Waver becomes another Helena my rage will be legendary.
That's what I'm gonna do. It's just some tickets but since anything can happen I'll wait a couple of days so I can do my Ishtar rolls before making my pick.
I chose CasGil as a free 4* once and then proceeded to get spooked by like 3 more copies of him in the span of 2 months.
