There is actually another Murder Mystery event next spring, with Jalter and Salieri on the banner.

I actually much prefer this event to the Case Files, or at least the anime. Here theres actual investigation and critical thinking, where that show was basically just a thriller, where things just happen out of left field and you can see a little foreshadowing of events if you look close enough, but the mystery takes a backseat.

Wait, really? But the set up is exactly the same. A week of story only mission, followed by a voting period, and Servant sprites as stand ins for other characters.

Meihousou itself is not a murder mystery. It's just silly shenanigans causing the Chaldea crew to need to produce a movie. The writer is Murasaki, but she passes out before she explained the ending to anyone, so the cast needs to figure out what was the ending she planned for their movie. In the end each character gives their own theory for what the ending was and the player needs to vote who was right.

The voting is just for shits and giggles and no option is right because Murasaki was never trying to write a murder mystery to begin with.
