Huh, alright. So chapter is at 50% and the conversation is basically over with. I think a nice interlude between Nanoha and Yuuno talking about their childhoods with some nice dialogue about Shirou's influence on Nanoha and vice verca along with a training session for Shirou to try out his new Projection ability sounds good right?

^Sounds good to me.
Spoiler:
Yeah. Shirou's training should be more fun to write as I love mapping out battle scenes.
I'm actually debating whether or not I should have him fight Chrono, some training golems, or a standard mage for training. How far do I want to push Shirou?
Do you think that the crew would be curious enough about Shirou's magic to let him spar with Chrono?

I think it would be interesting. Not to mention the duality of Shirou's thoughts and the foreign instincts given by his Projected weapon.

I say go for whatever will give the best entertainment. Right now I'm thinking that's the Chrono option.
If not Chrono then go for the golems. I don't want to see Shirou accidently sent someone into the infirmary just because his blades went out of control or something.
I can't wait to see everyone's reaction when Shirou recreates an enchanted sword.

chrono seems like a good sparing partner for shirou. sparing with him will give him the experience of how to fight the typical MGLN mage.

Looks like the votes a landslide to Chrono. Awesome.
((I vote Chrono))

Okay, okay. It'll be Chrono. I'll need to make a quick note of his spells and get to mapping out the fight.
Geez, the kid is so efficient with his spells. I'm really glad that Shirou is using Kyouya's swords rather than Kanshou and Bakuya. The sheer speed that Shirou is moving at actually gives him a chance in this fight. I also remember that Miyuki had some odd Chi sense or something in the video that I watched in Triangle Heart. She could sense a solider through a door or something. I'm going to go on a limb and assume that Kyouya can do that too, so I can pass that skill to Shirou even though he doesn't really understand it.

Aww. Oh well. I guess I can have Shirou learn it later on in life since he trains under Kyouya and Miyuki.
*Sad face*
EDIT: I really need to research the extent of Projected Skills work. Anyone want to give a long exposition about how they think it works so I don't need to?

Yeah, I'm all for giving Shirou a buff but well...
Anyway, yeah more training with Kyouya and Miyuki is a good idea. Maybe they witness Shirou using his half-assed version of their style, then after a long and somewhat unpleasant talk Kyouya/Miyuki decide to give him some serious training.
[insert "style has to stay in the family joke" here]

Alright, here's how I see it. Strength, Speed and Skill can all be duplicated but the amount that can be leached off is dependent on the quality of the projection. Crappy projections yield crappy results. Not only that but Shirou can also use 'techniques' of the weapons previous holders. In the case of Nine lives, Shirou could only use the variant that Berserker used with his stone sword.EDIT: I really need to research the extent of Projected Skills work. If Kyouya had a technique using his swords to generate vacuum blades, then Shirou would be able to duplicate it. However he can't learn magic from weapons and he can't duplicate the effects of Mystic Eyes. Tracing Medea's staff would be useless to him.
The conversation died.
