Well the BAR's power does increase when shit happens to him and since he's nine his BAR is low.
I'll go with number 2!
Increase Shirou's BAR points to snag Fate and Nanoha!
Teasing the Penguin God!
@Lethum: Yes. Don't hope for too much text translation, though.
@Mangafreak: Also, don't forget that the BAR is so effective b/c of him being seen struggling to attain a goal. Here, that's kept out of the others' views and he doesn't have to do it all alone, so the BAR's development proceeds at a lower pace.
Let the victor...be justice.
Yeah... in all honestly, Kiritsugu is still a magical cripple. He can't do squat with Magecraft, and in all honestly, he's going to die all the same. I played with the idea of him living because of the TSAB before I realized that he's cursed with All the World's Evil and has been for years. It's like cancer, they could have treated it, but it's too far now. So all he's there is for moral support, wisdom and to teach Shirou how to not kill himself by making stuff stronger.
Not to mention I want the character development with Shirou dealing with his father's death as horrible as that sounds.
Also, does anyone else think that Shirou is the type to accel under pressure when he'd fail in normal situations?

Sort seeing his first attempt with reinforcement in combat seemed to have worked with the poster when he faced Lancer. I'm guessing yes.
I sort of figured Shirou will try to do stuff alone or be more driven to save people because of Kiritsugu's death though I like Fraggie's idea of Nanoha coming in during his last moment unaware that he just died.
Teasing the Penguin God!
Yeah, Shirou tends to perform much better while under pressure. Also, does anyone else think that Shirou is the type to accel under pressure when he'd fail in normal situations?
More like life or death situations.
Teasing the Penguin God!
Hm...it was pretty pointless, it seems.
EDIT: The text box in the image, I mean.
@Manga: Is there really a difference b/t the two where it concerns Shirou, though?
Let the victor...be justice.
You got me there but then again he does have to deal with pressures of normal life and the pressure of wanting to help Nanoha but is still useless as a pressure that hinders more then it helps.
Teasing the Penguin God!
Right, anyways. Quick question. Interlude with the Fathers (Kiritsugu and Takamachi Shiro) about what they think Nanoha and Shirou are doing or not?
It'd be fun to have Shiro and Kiritsugu have a history of jobs together. With Shiro wondering what the hell happened to Kititsugu to change him so much over the years.

Not sure since if I recall Kiritsugu's past he was more of a mercenary of Justice rather then a bodyguard and not to mention his work was more dirty then what Shiro might have had.
Also that he was also partnered with Natasha (his teacher) until shooting her down along with a plane full of the undead so I'm not sure their's nothing to compare.
Though I think the interlude will still work with Kiritsugu being concerned on what to really do with Shirou (since he has a bad history with the term family) while Takamachi assuring him to do his best since Shirou already thinks of him as a father.
Teasing the Penguin God!
Meh, you're probably right. I think I'm going to go with Shiro knowing something's wrong with Shirou and tipping Kiritsugu off about it. Did anyone notice the small hint that Shirou needs to learn proper Magecraft?

^ Naah Really? haven't noticed at all.

Question: Are Magic Circuits and Linker Cores being treated as the exact same thing? Or are they two different sources of magic?
In all honestly, I'm not quite sure. Right now they're being dealt with as being different, but then again they only have Yuuno as a source of information so I can technically change that. But I like to think of them as being too different to be completely compatible, but close enough where you can make some parallels.
Then again, my knowledge of Nanoha is a little sparse so I have no idea.
And Mangafreak, your avatar pic now scares the crap out of me.

THough I know little to nothing about Nanoha isn't that kind of bad since they span from her as a kid to her being a full fledge adult?
Teasing the Penguin God!
A little. I'll have to start doing a bit more research in the later portions of the series, but the Original is pretty solid with what I know. A's needs a little more research, but it isn't until Striker's that things get really complicated.
And well, I have a lot of time until then, not to mention the Holy Grail War to get through.

Well I think you can safely parallel during the series when their teenagers since Shirou will probably visit Fuyuki to understand his dream more while Nanoha and Fate are busy.

Nice story heroslayer, if you need any help with MGLN info, I'm more then willing to help. I consider myself pretty knowledge about MGLN.
