    Just one thing about Fate/Extra. The prologue is almost as bad as Kingdom Hearts 2's prologue. I say almost because it's not even half as long but it's still incredibly boring.

    Meet Emiya Shirou, Freelancer of the TSAB, also known as The Unlimited Armory, The Ace's Knight:


    Fate could feel her eyebrow twitch as her eyes were drawn to the rather massive, and thankfully dry, blood splatter on her beloved's latest souvenir of his latest job.

    "I knew Shirou was awesome! But you need to take better care of yourself."

    "Ah, sorry for worrying you again Nanoha, but that's not my blood...I didn't even get scratched."

    "Great! Your training's paying off!"

    The eyebrow twitched a little more as she heard Nanoha's attempt to scold him fall down and just plain die as she was enamored by the, admittedly, rather kick-ass design of the poster, the blood added that extra zing to it as well. Shaking her head to fall out of the dangerously Nanoha-like thoughts, she turned her attention to Hayate's scolding.

    "...goodness Shirou, they even have your Aria, what have I told you about keeping such things under wraps?"

    "Not my true Aria, I had my Device installed with a scrambler that I activate when I chant it, it changes the words I say so that no one else can hear them."

    "Hmm...I see your point."

    "Dammit Shirou! Damn you and your logic!"

    Fate groaned as she felt the beginnings of a powerful headache starting, two of her best friends, two of the three aces, the Queen of the Night Sky and The Ace of Aces had all just failed miserably at scolding one man, sure he was The Unlimited Armory, but still! She sighed as Shirou's attention was shifted to her and she took one last look at the poster on the table and Vivio's awed smiling face as she simply stared at it and then up at Shirou, then back down at it.

    "...wait. Vivio!"

    Fate's eyes widened even as their charge exploded with a loud squeal of excitement.

    "Shirou-papa is so cool!"

    Toing~!

    "Umm, Fate are you okay?"

    Fate turned to a worried Shirou, a smile on her face. Of course she was okay, why would she be anything but okay? After all, she was taking the fact that her cute daughter figure was playing with a blood-covered poster very well. In fact, the same could said of Shirou...

    "Shirou, your face is pale, did you rest enough?"

    She found it odd, now he was shivering...this could be a little serious.

    "Nanoha, Hayate," she tilted her head at the sight of the both of them behind Shirou, both shivering wildly, she quickly flicked aside the feelings of curiosity and focused on what was important. "Take Vivio out for the day...Shirou seems to be coming down with something and I'll stay to help him out. Okay?"

    The Black Reaper was considered to be the fastest of the Aces, but even she could not track both Hayate and Nanoha's movements to leave the apartment with Vivio in tow. Of course, this left her with the person she wanted to taking care of, the same person who was bravely shivering in his seat.

    "Now Shirou, let me take care of you."

    The title Ace of Aces is thrown around in one of the A's era Sound Stages, and it's made official early in StrikerS. It wouldn't surprise me if early means in the first chapter during the airport fire flashback.

    From what I know she got the title Ace of Aces not all that long after the end of As. So during the Sound Stages I think possibly after her accident.
