I don't understand how Yuuno seriously forgot he was ferret? Seriously he thought he'd been talking to Nanoha the whole time as a human.
The Mind is a Plaything for the Body.
I wouldn't be surprised if Yuuno's Ferret form started to mess with his head after a prolonged time.
I think he just forgot. It was more convenient to stay in the ferret form in that situation, so he just did. He thought that Nanoha knew he was a boy before a ferret, so it wasn't really a problem for him.

Shirou hated working with Archer.
It sounded odd that he couldn't get along with what was just another version of himself, but any time spent with Archer was hell.
The red clad man would take pleasure in belittling Shirou at every chance he could get.
Whether it was from his lack of ability at Projection.
"You still can't sympathize with a blade very well can you?" Archer taunted his younger self. The white clad faker had been forced to constantly replace his own weaponry as the battle went on while Archer was still on his first pair of his preferred twin swords.
Shirou would have loved to throw a comment back at Archer, but his attention was drawn away as another powerful golem had smashed his swords to bits with a battle hammer.
His lack of foresight.
"Really, I would love to say I told you so, but I think this situation already speaks for itself."
Shirou twitched. "Don't say a word."
"I mean, of course not waiting for confirmation if you have the right target is going to work. You're gut feeling is much more accurate than visual confirmation or the okay from HQ."
"Archer..." Shirou's voice promised violence if the man continued.
"It's not like you could attack the wrong target, get arrested by the royal guard and screw up this mission entirely." Archer finished with a smug smile at the boy that was chained up in the castle prison.
Shirou's stubborn streak.
The current argument over was over Shirou's refusal to use a bow and arrow. It was less of the fact that Shirou didn't want to learn and more of the fact that he wanted less and less skills that were correlated with Archer.
Shirou tried to use the argument that he had never picked up a bow and that learning a complicated skill like that would take ages. Forgetting the fact that he was basically absorbing skills off of Archer entirely, the older man assured the boy that the skill was something they were simply natural at.
When Shirou denied that, he made it a contest. Unfortunately, Archer enjoyed making Shirou squirm so it ended up a large event with multiple contestants.
Signum was annoyed that Archer had beaten her in the Archery contest but was soothed by the fact that this was the man's chosen field of battle and that he had just as many years of battle experience as she did if not more.
She was livid when Shirou, who had never picked up a bow for the purpose of shooting before this day, had beaten her with all perfect shots.
Shirou had feared that the man would even start berating him in the kitchen (which would have been the final straw and cause the boy to attempt to maim the man even though he knew he had no chance. Absorbed skills or not, the man was a veteran of centuries if not more of battle).
"Not bad." The man gave the dish a contemplative look.
"Oh, is there something wrong?" Shirou was gripping the ladle in his hand so tight that Archer wondered if the boy Reinforced it to keep it intact.
"No, no complaints." Archer waited until Shirou had released the breathe he had been holding to make his comment. "But I have to say, you really need to work on your tea making skills."
The Reinforced ladle to the head was completely worth that jab.
The man was simply impossible to get along with. When Shirou had been assigned his first mission with Archer, he had hoped that the constant motion of battle would keep him occupied enough not to berate him any more. However, Archer had seemed to gain the ability to snark as much as possible while in the midst of life and death battle.
Shirou had not seen the man run out of breathe once. It was maddening.
However it did have its upsides. There was no one in the TSAB or on Earth that was more versed in battle. He had yet to find anyone that could match his accuracy, and the man had taken tactics to a level that even master strategists would envy.
And despite their differences, despite the hatred that the two of them felt for each other. There was no one better suited to work with the other. They knew each other inside and out, battle strategies, thought processes, even the motivations for their actions. Even though they denied it, they were both Emiya Shirou.

Shirou cleaved through his next opponent with a perfectly Projected Caliburn. A brief glimpse in the corner of his vision had alerted him to an opponent that was attempting to sneak up on him. Shirou ignored the presence and was rewarded with the sound of several swords impaling a body erupting from behind him.
Shirou leaped back as one of the larger monsters attempted to smash him with sheer force and took a single moment to bring to mind several weapons that could take the monster down. A sword he had taken from the Gates of Babylon materialized in Shirou's hands and he sliced through the monster's body. No physical wound appeared, but the monster roared in pain as its entire body was frozen solid.
Shirou paused and gazed at the rest of the army that was against them. There seemed to be an endless amount of them spawning from the cauldron that they had been sent to destroy.
"This is getting us nowhere." The magic sword sliced through the air and left frozen statues of more monsters, but for every beast that Shirou killed another would take its place. "I say we take this to a more fitting battle field."
"Hmph, getting tired already?" Archer smirked as he casually cut through several of the beasts before launching his twin blades in a devastating spiral around him.
"No, but if we don't do something we'll be here for ages." Shirou shot back. "Now can we do this already?"
"Heh, we do have a schedule to keep. And it wouldn't be very gentlemen like to leave the women waiting." The man jumped back from the enemy he was currently fighting and felt that Shirou had done the same.
The two of them stood back to back and extended an arm forward.
The Jewel Seed within Shirou's body hummed as his device twisted its power to ease the warping of space and time.
I am the bone of my sword
Steel is my body and fire is my blood
Both of them chanted
I have created over a thousand blades
The first lines were the same. However, they were no longer the same people.
Unaware of loss nor aware of gain/ Aware of every loss, Reinforced by every gain
Whether or not Emiya Shirou would become the Counter Guardian known as Archer was still a question that was unanswered. However, at this very moment they were two separate people with two separate lives.
Have withstood pain to create many weapons/ Withstood pain to create many weapons, chasing a distant dream
Yet, these hands will never hold anything/ I have no regrets, this is my only path
The worlds of Emiya Shirou and Archer would normally be incompatible. However, that was what Shirou's device was for. Channeling the energies of the Jewel Seed into the world, it rewrote the twin Reality Marbles into a single cohesive one.
Thus as I pray/ My whole life is
Both version of Emiya Shirou finished their aria, their oath and warped the very world itself.
Unlimited Blade Works
Fire consumed the entire area and left the former city to replace it with a wasteland. Gears twisted in the very sky, and the light of the rising sun behind them were obscured by the smog that rose from the ground. The ground was covered in sword. Peerless blades from all of history, and many from different worlds were all stuck into the ground, flawlessly recreated by the finest of materials.
And if one would take the time to scan the horizon. In the distance, barely visible would be an oasis, a single haven of life in the lifeless wasteland, distant and seemingly unobtainable.
The mindless beasts roared in pain as they felt the wrongness of the world around them. The cauldron ceased to spit out more of the beasts as it could no longer drain energy from the world around it.
Emiya Shirou, clad in his white shroud and blue armor opened his eyes and lifted his hand.
Archer, the knight in red and black mirrored the movement.
The unlimited blades rose from the ground and hovered in midair for only a moment.
Steel rained from the sky and the endless army of monsters were slain by an unlimited amount of swords.

I dunno. I was throwing around ideas for MSLD Shirou's UBW chant and then saw this picture.

For some reason I thought of Fraggle's snippet where Lindy became Archer's master and wrote this. It was more random then anything, and just an idea that I was throwing around, but I felt like writing it.
I'm pretty sure I broke several rules about Reality Marbles while writing this, but meh. Rule of Cool was in place, it's a snippet.

Normally Reality Marbles would cancel each other out, but considering how both Archer and Shirou have the same Reality Marble, well what's written here might not really break anything.
A jewel seed did it -_-
Truly, archer is such a nice guy, pointing out Shirou's flaws so that he can start working on them. Archer's such a nice guy.
The snarking is strong with those two :P

The power of snark compels you!![]()
Spoiler:
Well, we know for a fact that the only reason Shirou didn't snark back atRinpretty much every charcter in the novel is because he is too polite to do it. If he would say half of what he thinks, Rin would discover Archer's true identity ten minutes after meeting with Saber's Sword's point. And that only if she was distracted bythe sexyness ofboth Shirou and Saber the first nine.

There actually not there rare for Dead Apostles for some reason. Although Nasu has written anything pretaining to the interaction of two reality marbles.
I'm...not sure.
But remember, the world has a Supreme Reality Marble that "enforces"/"represent" it's rules, and when someone uses a Reality Marble, they..."displace" that RM, stuffing it into a World Egg while the people caught in the range appear inside the RM, and work under it's rules. Also, RM's disappear because the world is continually (trying to) crush it, so the user must expend prana to prevent this until they run out (or give up).
It amounts to this: "an expanded Reality Marble is a world (as in the rules and power that defines one)", and people can't be in more than one place at the same time, so there can only be one "world" expanded for a given position in space-time. Attempts to overlap lead to destruction or stuffing stuff into World Eggs.
As far as I can remember/understand it, anyway.
