either/or? you can't decide? Suggestions generally are more precise than lolYuunoxMaterials. Also, stating your favorite pairing has nothing to do with Lyrical Days....we have yet to see if the Materials will or won't show up here. I was making a suggestion...or stating one of my favorite pairings.
You're confusing HeroSlayer with fraggle. Hero has gone on to officially state, 'he has no official pairing yet. They're 10.' and he's leaving it at that. From the way it's looking, this will turn out as Shirou/Nanoha/Fate/Hayate.
Fair enough really. I get confuse with HeroSlayer and Fraggle sometimes as well. Now no need to continue this arguement. Back to the discussion about Shirou fighting mid air opponents, or that awesome snippit from earlier?
It is simple to differentiate them. Fraggle is the one who actually posts (noncanon) story segments, while Heroslayer talks about eventual plans.
Considering the amount of jokes I make that are eventually turned to snippets and the fact that this thing has way too many pages of statements, I can understand being confused. But I'll reiterate.
As of now and until A's is done I will not even be thinking of romance. This is not Card Captor Sakura, there will be no True Loves at the age of nine. I doubt Shirou has anything in his head right now other than 'Become Ally of Justice', 'Swords, fire, magic' and 'Cooking' anyways.
The Materials will not show up in the story and my plans for a Movie-esque none canon story with the Materials is mostly just an afterthought if I get too frustrated with the Holy Grail Arc. So no Material-S/Yuuno, and no discussion of it because even if they do show up, I'd mostly likely kill them off anyways.

... Does anyone remember this thread: http://forums.nrvnqsr.com/showthread...-input-welcome ?
So, according to D&D's alignment check, I'm a True Neutral. Huh.
And in this thread his word is law.
I totally blame you guys for this idea:

Question here. Since in this story, Shirou has started developing earlier and at a faster pace, will he also start to develop Eye of the Mind earlier because he is starting to fight more? Since he is lacking a barrier jacket and the conceptual armor that Archer has, I can see this as a way to even the playing field in regards to power and defense. This ability did allow Archer to stand on fairly even terms with Lancer and to kill Berserker multiple times. Of course since it would be absurd for it to fully develop to the same level in such a short amount of time, your Shirou would still get seriously hurt, but he'd at least avoid crippling and fatal injuries while fighting to win at cost to his body.
hmm, the wiki states that
The problem is that he does get battle experience, but right now he's not really the type that stands still to think, thats Yuuno's job :PEye of the Mind (True)
Heightened insight that was refined through experience.
- B: Capable of calm analysis of battle conditions even when in danger and deduce an appropriate course of action after considering all possibilities to escape from a predicament. So long there is even a 1% chance of a comeback, this ability greatly improves the chances of winning.
Later on he might become more collected though.
But It's up to Hero ofcourse :P Don't take my word for it :P

The thing is, Archer's Eye of the Mind is a creation of countless battles. He has probably fought more battles than Shirou ever will in his entire lifetime, so I can't say that Shirou will develop Eye of the Mind (True).
However, Shirou does have the advantage of (Currently) being under minor influence of the Jewel Seed and a flawed upload of UBWs. I would say that he is developing an Eye of the Mind (False), but at a much lower level at the moment. After some more battles and whatever experience he leeches from Archer he'll most likely be on his way to develop the True version, but Shirou's personality without the tempering of age and experience does not allow a calm analysis of the battle. He has flashes of brilliance from analysis of battle, but it isn't something he controls.
In a sense, Shirou is too reckless for Eye of the Mind (True) until he's well into his adulthood.

What is the difference between the Eye of the mind (true) and false?
True: insight due to experience, planning ect.
False : Insight due to a 'sixth sense' ( subconscious)

To elaborate, Mind's Eye (True) means one is capable of making calculations in combat similar to those of a chessmaster at play, meaning he can predict his opponents' moves a few seconds forward and goad him into a trap while fighting, while Mind's Eye (False) only gives the result of it in a way similar to adrenaline danger instinct, meaning it can be used to evade a blow that can be evaded, but it offers nothing after that.
Amusingly, it's possible for someone to have both versions of Mind's Eye, and the only reason why it had not happened yet in the stories is that it would require someone capable of honing the true version to absorb it earlier without having any experience, thus getting the fake version, and later trying to work on combat analysis and intuition constantly (though not at the same time, as honing one would automatically stop the other one from being used in that exact moment). But let's not get into that area as we know Shirou won't get both of them active at the same time in this story, for reasons that should be well-known.
Yeah, totally agree with the recklessness and the lack of experience that Shirou has. But I'm glad he's developing something considering his training with Signum and Zafira. I figure that a few years training intensively would have given him some degree of foresight and perception in a fight. Eye of the Mind True would be waaaay too OP for Shirou as he is currently, but having it be false and not completely developed like you stated is really great. To be honest, I'm not entirely sure if Shirou developing the true version would even be fair until at least the Huckebein incident if even that.
Everyone who fights Takamachi Nanoha develops Eye of the mind (False). They start twiching whenever they see something pink, their sixth sense telling them there's something dangerous.
