The saint cradle can draw power form earth's magic field( read mana, aka the greater scource, once it is in orbit. As long as it stays there Vivio can maintain it, but it does lose two ranks as eaurth hass far less mana then Mid-Childa.
She will probably use it on a suicide run against Caster's monster/ Gil's awesome plane.
