After her father had wished her pleasant dreams as he left her room, Vivio's smile quickly faded from her face as the facade that she bore in public washed away in the darkness of her own room. In his attempt to destroy the corrupt core of the Empire, Scalietty had needed a key for the greatest warship from the Belkan Wars, and only one bearing the bloodline of the Saint Kaiser, the cruel queen who enslaved hundreds of planets under her diabolic rule, could ever activate the harbinger of death. The scientist had tried to raise the young girl with kindness, as he tried to pass on his ideal of justice and a brighter world onto her.
To bad that the genetic memory of the Saint Kaiser was much more robust then even Scalietti had knows, the countless battlefields, the feeling of bathing in her opponents blood firmly engraved into the girl's mind before she saw light for the first time.
Vivio shivered in anticipation for the day that she could unleash her true self and take of this mask of innocence, but for now she had to play the act of an innocent child to keep her enemies off her back. The empire would not take kindly to a new Kaiser who threatened to take their place in the universe after all. Even more so, the persons currently watching over her, in this makeshift family that she had ended living in.
Takamachi Nanoha----- The woman could be a useful asset, a weapon she could manipulate for her cause. But in the end she was too destructive to keep around. Vivio would just have to use her to her full potential before she would be forced to discard the White devil. The same went for Fate Testerossa. The bloodlust of that woman made her a liability, if Vivio could not control the blonds temper she might go rogue again, just like ten years ago. In the end the blond would prove to be too great a risk to keep alive. Yagami Hayate was the most dangerous one. The deluded woman saw herself as the true ruler of the worlds, that fact alone made Vivio's expression shift into one of disgust. By now the so called 'master of the book of darkness' was probably planning on how to manipulate Vivio to further Hayate's own goals. There was no need for any competition, even if the opposition was as insignificant as the delusional and power hungry woman. Her death would be swift, efficient and none of the woman's servants would be left standing.
A good example was necessary to convey a message to the people after all.
As for her Father--------
There was no need for him to get involved. Although his 'reality marble' was a feat most deserving for a position as a general to fight at her side, his mindset was far from the one necessary for the position. It would be best if he was distracted with a local case or disaster on an unadministrated planet as the coup d'état took place. Hopefully he would accept the new leadership without problems, and join her in his rightful place as father to the supreme ruler....
Perhaps she could spare the lives of the woman close to him. With their powers sealed perminently they would pose no threat, but they could still offer her father their love and 'support'.
It would he hard, and capturing them instead of just killing them would take many recourses, but it might prove to be a helping push for her father to join her side. In the end he would choose his beloved daughter over the Empire anyway.
He just had to----------
But for now she could lay low. Play the role of the innocent girl in need of guidance and protection as this makeshift family eluded her enemies from her true goals. There was no need to be worried, as her Father and his ----'lovers' would protect her.
She cluched onto the plush bunny her father had given her this afternoon, as she calmed herself.
It wasn't a bad way to live at all, until the time had come.
