Let's see here, do I want to make a caster or some weird Saber (who doesn't understand why she is a Saber instead of caster) who fights like a caster instead of mostly relying on their sword for combat?
How many player slots are open? Can there be more than one Servant of the same class? For instance, can two players play as the Saber Servant?
Bloody hell, I keep answering single people and forgetting to update the first post! ARGH! It's been too long since I ran a forum RP.
Anyway, at the minute there's no strict player limit, but each player will only have their master and servant duo so you don't confuse my idiot ass.
When it comes to classes, I would prefer if people tried to avoid doubling up, but it's not a hard rule like the others given the setting allows pretty handily for multiple servants of the same class to appear. Like I said before, this is less a competitive setting so much as a narrative one, so a nice mix would be helpful as opposed to having seven sabers all blasting lasers everywhere. XD
Yo, longtime lurker but first time poster. Will look into a Master+Saber combo I think.
So what classes are everyone interested in? So far from what I can tell this is what has been expressed or confirmed in the chat so far. Anyone below change their minds or want to say what class interests them?
Confirmed:
Clyton-Caster
Hero-Caster
Expressed Interest:
Twelveseal-Berserker
Mormarth-Rider
Rafflesiac-Lancer
Zurvan-Saber?
Hiraeth-Saber
Is there a time limit, Hawkeye?
I've been working on a Saber, (hopefully I finish it today) but I could shift him into either Lancer or Berserker if needed
I think I'll be swapping over to an Archer actually, since it doesn't look like there's been any expressed interest in one yet. I'll have to start over but it looks like everybody still has time.
Yeah, I'm actually not sure what I want to do right now. Back on the brainstorming level.

What's the ruling on Extra Classes for reference?
Largely autonomous, supplies are dropped in once a month and it's basically up to the prisoners to work from there. There's a complex economy based largely on Ramen.
Anyway, the middle of the prison is a massive shaft that leads right into the bottom of floor 9. Between each floor is a "Gate", basically a blast door enchanted so heavily that you could ram Gil's thick skull into it and it'd probably only dent it. Each floor from there is a self-contained settlement.
Hmmm, so the whole thing is underground, but mostly unregulated. What's the climate like, the general appearance, features, etc...

Well it's a cuuuup, with dirt in it! I call it cup o' dirt. Just slap an 'F' on there so I can go home. XD
I guess I must explain the layout. The gates between each floor are laid horizontally into the primary shaft, they're opened once a day to help circulate air, but the magical wards generally prevent people from moving between them. Most of the floors from there look like your standard prison with facilities branching off from the shaft into cell blocks, showers, cafeterias etc, mostly built of concrete and steel and whatever magic the warden decided to lace the place with. When the gates are closed, the various floors have endeavoured to maintain their own lighting systems. Down on floor 9, it looks like a deep cave with luminescent fungi and insects and things providing most of the ambient light while inmates carry their own torches and things. It's almost literally a place that will never see sunlight again. Higher up there's electrical lighting, but depending on the disposition of prisoners, they may have busted it. Electrical lighting was chosen over more traditional methods on the basis that they didn't want to fill the hallways with smoking braziers that could be used as weapons or ultimately suffocate all the prisoners. Floor 5 has been expanded out by prisoners mining away rock from their surroundings and building pretty much a shanty town on that floor. It's the main hub for trade and things in the prison. In an interesting note, the walls resist magic and servant abilities, but one could Shawshank the shit out of this place if they were willing to dig through miles and miles of rock only to end up in the feckin' desert.
On top of the prison's first gate is an old turn of the century style fort. Like something the French Foreign Legion might've set up in the past. It houses all the guards and the warden, who each have a servant, but actively avoid going into the prison if they can help it. The warden and their servant are hereditary positions and have been handed down since the prison was erected just over a century ago.
