Sakurai seems to get more and more comfortable in standard 3rd person VN writing whenever it's her turn to write something. It started from Arthur's trial quest and just became more apparent from there. Even if the plot didn't make it obvious, that certainly convinced me she was the writer.

The decision to translate Imaginary Numbers Space as "Void Space" is still really weird to me. Not only is INS a term the fanbase has already used for years, but I'm pretty sure they did call it Imaginary Numbers in Babylonia when talking about Tiamat.

Plus isn't the Japanese name literally the same thing as imaginary number, the math term? So you shouldn't be able to get void from translating that, right?

Huh. Since it happened so soon after Rasputin making me think he's from another alternate reality where Kirei didn't get cremated, I assumed it was an Alternate Chaldea, on their own mission. Like the Void/INS is the space between realities so if there were alts going through the same thing, they'd have to use the same thing to travel. Would also explain how there's more than one Void Sail and Paper Moon and all the other BS that's needed to travel.

Yeah, I don't think "man among men" carries the nuance that Napoleon/Sigurd is a really pleasant guy to be around.

Sakurai uses 3rd person heavily in her VNs, so maybe its old habits coming back.

I appreciate how the chapter is a bit less meandering plot wise than LB1. I enjoyed lostbelt 1 and getting to, uh, bond (?) With Paxti but there were some stretches where I just wanted the story to pick up already.

Then again I'm still pretty early, haven't even met Bryn yet

This dialogue is so painfully long-winded. I feel like every 10 lines could be shortened to 1.

I know isn't anything new with Fate, but it seems specially grating this time around.

I do like how early on when you meet Gerde the game reminds you about Patxi and how all these people you meet are going to die at the end no matter if you win or lose.

I don't think he was this active even back in part 1, he's been interjecting in almost every scene.

It's weird though, he's still supposed to be lobotomized.

It really is nice to get bits and pieces more about how it works and how experimental the exploration of it is tickles my mechanics boner.

I remember a comedic scene in Hollow that a weird sound effect and greyed out sprite eerily similiar to diving when Sakura opens a pit under Rin, seem more horrifying with how Zero Sail is explained. Kinda like a much more risky possibly fatal dimension door.

It's really cruel how we're trying to make Gerda understand how sad the situation she's in is. If she could change that and live longer it'd be one thing, but we all know she's going to have to die when we cut the Tree, no need to make the girl feel miserable about her life.
