It was a summer of unprecedented brutality and inhumanity.
The perpetrator of these abominable acts remains at large.
Today, the Camp re-opens, and new life comes to the peaceful, Appalachian wilderness.
But, unknown to the innocent life filing off the buses, hungry eyes watch from the trees.
Indeed, new life has come to the campground.

Hi, hello, hello today.
Welcome, one and all, to my latest venture. In the style of the gorefest slasher films of the 1970s and 80s, comes BLOOD RIVER, where a bunch of possibly sexed-up young adults come to set up a summer camp while some spooky mother-hubbard snorts from the treeline and fantasizes about their soon-to-be corpses.

In any case, this RP is not one intended to be lasting very long, I will be pushing for speedy updates on your character's activities, and while I would prefer it if they would be in-character on the forms, I understand that with time and the world being the way it is, this is not always possible.
So, that in mind, there will be a Discord component to this RP, if you should wish to make quick, minute adjustments to your character's activity, or something very quick and intense is happening, I would appreciate it if you would join me on a private chat so we can dole what wtf is going to happen in the next two seconds.

In addition, character creation is rather simple! In keeping with the influences behind this RP, I've compiled a list of dossiers and archetypes for y'all to puruse and form your character around, think of them like an outline, or what 'Class' your character is, for instance.
Naturally, you do not have to be limited to the ones I have made, if you have something in mind that may suit the character you have in mind, please, by all means, hit me up!

Your name, Age- preferably somewhere from 18 to 27ish, Gender, and a background around your character, perhaps detailing some important bits and pieces of your backstory that may be Important.
