Good to have it back in all of its foot-shooting contradictory glory.
I fell off after Kirito went braindead, is it stupid enough to make an effort to catch up, or just disappointingly stupid?

It's hard not to be. I get through that by sheer WTF. It's what makes it engaging.

Oregairu ep 1: Oh right, they ended last season on a cliffhanger/confession thing, didn't they. Which.... it seems we're going to be ignoring. 'Kaaaay. The more distance we put between us and drama the better, for my money. Instead, we're jumping right back in with Yukinoshita's 'finding myself' arc, which is interesting and all but... starting a new season midway through a character arc, especially one so pivotal to the overarching plot, without so much as a refresher? I'm not liking what this says about the pacing.
edit: See? I barely even remember their names, and I watched Oregairu2 well after its initial airing!

Komachi is treasure.
Actually, this episode in a nutshell:

shit BL says
Once and always and nevermore.
It's also used when there's a big difference in age/status. Just off the top of my head, Rukia called Byakuya aniki.

Aniki means big brother. it can be used to actual family or a man older than you that you respect.
Wow. Deca-Dance 2 went fucking places. What I expected to be a "Mortal Engines done well" plot, now has an Enders Game twist. With a dash of Tower of God thrown in or good measure. This is peak ANIME here. I'd normally expect this kind of thing to be the episode 3/4 plot so we can get a nice twist before the main plot kicks in, but doing it so early seems to signal that this is only a stepping stone.
Gibiate: what the fuck is Drinks, Brugs and Rock and Roll supposed to mean? Unlike Music With Rocks In, 2/3 is actually pretty bad. Wow, this is 2020 the anime, isn't it? I wouldn't be surprised at this point if COVID turned people into lizards. Flashback to ancient Japan, and my mind starts making Nobunagun comparisons, when it's actually more Kuromakuro., only lacking the spindly mechs. If tasers can disable the monsters why is the world in ruins? Electricity is everywhere. And why is this scientist do accepting? He goes on an exposition dump about how monsters are based on DNA, and then immediately accepts that time travel magic is A-Ok too, because why the fuck not? I feel like Hermes in Futurama "That just raise FURTHER questions!".
Re:Zero: So I wasn't really clear on this last time, but given the sudden plot it didn't seem to matter, But what happened with Crusch's arm? She lost it before she got eaten by Gluttony, but now she has both limbs but no memories? Like, I could see them keeping her intact if the one guarding her survived, but her whole caravan got wiped out, how did they mix and match the pieces back together? New ED, or is that the OP?, is pretty neat. Gets Subaru's determinator personality down pretty well, with all his corpses he walks past with no reaction.

Muhyo and Roji Season 2 Episode 2: Goryo is a guy, the person translating this episode should go back to school, or at least has never read the books. Man, that story with the little girl and her mother still really hits me. I don't think the first part of the episode was in the manga though, that was new to me. It was a nice episode.

Spoiler:
Should you really feel bad for him though? He wrote that scene in the first place.

Spoiler:
There's a certain irony where Uzaki-chan the slice of life series has panty-shots on the TV series, while even the underwear scenes in HxEros are blurred out for TV (obviously to sell BDs).
I wonder if ppl got the VA reference on Uzaki EP2.
Master of Asia cafe is voiced by Master Asia (from G Gundam).
Not in the AT-X version. That one seems to only censor nipples. It's still not truly uncensored, but everything that ain't nipples is visible there. Still ridiculous they pulled a wait for BDs. More so because it had the bad luck of airing on the same season as Peter Grill, which doesn't do that. And 2 seasons after Insterspeces Reviewers. Oh well, I guess greedy people on comittees being desperate to sell BDs and sacrificing the TV version for it is a curse that ecchi will never manage to remove. Gotta live with it and wait, I guess

Spoiler:
Wow, based Bercouli offed Gabriel, knocked up Fanatio, and flew off into the afterlife with Quinella, what a chad.
Also I'm surprised Vassago didn't hop in right at the end of Asuna's death flag joy, I wonder which Japanese Gamer he's going to off in front of her.
Digimon: Not a fan of this version's take on Joe. He feels like a charicature, sitting down and studying for entrance exams when you've been isekai'd is over the top even for him.
Someone should told Joe about the time discrepancy between IRL and digital world to abuse the hell out of it.
I still can't get over how deep Hachiman's voice is for this new season
