Indeed. That actually got me curious as well so I had a deeper look at when each show debuted the first heroes' Perfect.

Adventure - 20 (or 16 if you technically count SkullGreymon).
Zero Two - 26 (obviously I didn't count returning heroes from Adventure going Perfect).
Tamer - 14
Frontier - 10
Savers - 13
Appmon - 19

I didn't bother checking Xros Wars since y'know "no Levels" and whatnot.

You also have to look into how long each season was, too. 20 is a while, but not if the show ran for 50. 10 might seem early but if it only went for 24 then it's about the same place in the story.

^ Savers was the shortest at 48 episodes, with the original Adventure as the longest at 54.

This reboot is IIRC planned for 66 episodes wildly.

Wow. I knew the first 3 seasons were pretty long, but I had no idea the later seasons kept it up.

I think having around 50 episodes is just the standard for kids shows.

Probably a hold over from the old days where most normal seasons were 24, so a double cour for a blockbuster show would be about 50. Just like how Gundam is.

Muhyo and Roji Season 2 Episode 6:Ah yes, in trying to do a trial by fire, a real monster snuck in that they can't handle. Meanwhile, the fight against Pluto is just beginning.

Shokugeki: You know, I could deal with the obese murder clown chef. It just means the author was getting lazy with making actual characters (obvious from the fact the main villain of the arc is just a palatte swap), but a fucking chainsaw as a precision knife? Seriously? And didn't the tourney start with saying you can't use specialized equipment? So why does said Murder Clown have custom pressure cookers on hand? Oh Military girl broke a whole chocolate bar with a hammer? What strength! It's not like I've done the same thing when I have one in pocket and sit down too fast in my car. Though I don't know they can call any of these the ultimate Christmas cake when the real answer is obviously Sadayo Kawakami.

Now I see what all the people who kept up with the manga were talking about. But it seems like I say this every week. And will continue to do so for another *checks calendar* 6 weeks? Ugh. This will be trying, I can tell.

Railgun: Every time Shota talks about inescapable fate, I large part of me wants the scene to freeze, sirens to blare, red warnings pop up, and a big "CAN'T ESCAPE FROM CROSSING FATE" to flash across the screen. Wow, I got halfway through this episode before I realized it was last weeks.

The Millionaire Detective - Balance: UNLIMITED Episode 5: I like how the only way they got into the panic room was because the janitor made a spare key for it, that's so funny. Still, it's interesting how his butler said the knowledge on how to stop the gas from coming out wasn't available to him. Could it be that there's someone that has higher authority then him that's trying to keep some information secret? It can't be his grandmother, can it? And then there's that little machine that came out of the shoe too. This was a great episode.

Fire Force Season 2 Episode 4: I know that the previews said that Inca was a thrill seeker, but not wanting safety in this moment is ridiculous. It's nice that backup came to help Company 8, but the horned Infernal is going to be a challenge. It took everything Benimaru had to take the last one down, so I'm wondering how they'll deal with it. The fight between Charon and Shinra was amazing though. I loved when they went through building and Charon's slow walk with explosions towards the end. It was an amazing episode.

Digimon Adventure Episode 11: I really enjoyed seeing some of the more obscure Digimon like Neemon and Labramon again. The dynamic between Yamato/Sora /Joe worked surprisingly well and we even got the first direct mention of Takeru. Wew, that WereGarurumon. The battle was a lot shroter than last week's, but man was it epic to see him doing that kickboxing and stuff.

Next week is best girl Mimi's time to shine. Can't wait!

So I finally started watching Fire Force season 2. I love they started the season with a comedy-bit on Hinawa's love of ridiculous hats. That's so in-character for the show. And even if this was a filler-episode to bring us back up to speed with the cast, that giant Infernal sure was some heavy power-level escalation. Last season giant Infernals like the demon one were a huge deal and only created in some very special circumstances, now one can just pop up like nothing. I presume that'll be explained later on. Also after all the Tamaki fanservice last season, nice to give the female fans something to drool over with the "Nude Calendar".

I'm finally dropping millionaire detective. I can't keep forcing myself to watch a show I feel no attachment to the characters just because twitter for some reason thinks Daisuke's basic ass rich boy looks are anything special

Muhyo and Roji Season 2 Episode 7:I didn't remember the fight between Yuuri and Pluto being that vicious. The real battle between them starts now though.

I just caught up on the last few episodes of Fruits Basket as well. I have to admit, when Rin tried to run away and faceplanted, I laughed. Then I thought "Well I guess if she broke anything they'll have to shoot her" and laughed harder.

Now I don't remember a lot of the nitty gritty of the manga after so many years, but there's way more than one arc left, right? There's got to be a third season coming, I don't see how we wrap up the mess that is Akito in six more episodes.


Edit: Goddamn it Shokugeki. You can't even keep you're miniboss squad around? You used one of the five designs and had the rest killed offscreen by their boss? Really!? This has to be a "The manga is getting canned, gotta wrap it up" thing, right? Or did they just forget how to write any plot but MC vs Main Antagonist?

How is this show going to disappoint me next week? It's almost worse than misfit demon lord at this point, if only becasue it had three seasons of good beforehand.

The Millionaire Detective - Balance: UNLIMITED Episode 6: Daisuke's been denied access to certain things several times now, so there has to be someone with higher authority than him that ordered certain things be kept secret. And the look of surprise on his face when he couldn't access that one file... I can't believe he controlled the woman's car and made her believe that she killed someone. How he's far is he wiling to go? But the real question is, who caused that lady's car to blow up?
