Sad but true. They announce the "remake" 10 years ago and nothing has happened. On the other hand Fate has gotten 2 new video games, 5 new anime and a phone game.
Now even fate extra is getting remake. For Tsukimhime? Crickets. Not even a collab event in FGO.
Anyone as disappointed as I am?

On one hand, you don't get anything from a series you enjoy...at least for a while. On the other hand, you don't get to see it balloon into a giant abomination of a cash cow, to the point where it no longer resembles the elements that you loved from the original work.
Do they though? I just don't get the overeaction over it.

It's the same reaction that fans typically have when a new/remade title of an old and beloved series gets announced early and is constantly being delayed or pushed back. See FFXV, KH3 and FF7 Remake for reference.

Honestly at this point I just want them to say that it's cancelled or on pause or something. It's better for them to be honest about that rather than string the fanbase along like they're doing. Like I think we all know that it's vaporware but it'd be better if we didn't have to be in a situation where we automatically assume that TM is lying when they say that the game is under play testing and whatnot.
Its pretty depressing especially when they are so silent about it.

I fear that Type-Moon will concentrate on fate in the future. Fate isn't bad but I liked the Nasuverse for its variety of genial ideas and its mix of fantasy and futuristic contents.

Everybody knows that absurdly long names are what's "in" these days hence why Type Moon prefers to play it safe and concentrate on
"Fate/Grand Order: Divine Realm of the Round Table: Camel Toe Wandering Agamemnon/Paladin; Xanathos Hyperdimension mk2"
instead.

Are you suspecting some kind of conspiracy where we are all just lying about liking tsukihime?
The last thing to come out that wasn't heavily tied to Fate/Servants was Mahoyo, eight years ago. You could very arguably count Case Files or something like the MB Nightmare manga or something, but something like the former's inexorably tied to Fate and the latter features Fate stuff and can't really be called a full work. That's just how things are nowadays. Unfortunate but y'know.
I've posted it before, and I'll post it again.
So I don't know what to think is the thing. Are people being sincere about liking it? People might say they like the game, but they don't make a case for it, in fact they just seem to make cases against it.
