i mean sure if you use cards you can sidestep Shiki's NP refund but my strategy for LB Kaleido is rng-proof
and even for nonLB Kaleido it only fails if Shiki kills both mobs with instant kill, otherwise she should get 19% back on wave 2 which puts her into full np refund range

No you don't. Double Saber Caster can give 2 Servants 80% gauge each. Shiki (Assassin), Chiyome, Carmilla, Jeanne Alter (Berserker), Vlad, Kintoki, and Kama all have battery skills that are 20% or better.

Your refund issue is only a problem for Shiki (Saber) if she instant kills both enemies. Jason, Tomoe (Saber), Nero, Saber, and Mordred don't have to worry about that. Or, if you're using Shiki (Saber), the only Shiki (Assassin) option you can't replace her with is Jeanne Alter (Berserker) in worst case scenario of instant killing both enemies.

Ugh, I threw 4 10 rolls and few tickets at the gacha to get the CE and got only 1 4* event CE and some 3* event CE.

On the other note, my Scathach is NP3.

Feels like a pretty worthless bonus boost for low rarity. Like, it's definitely nice they got SOMETHING, but with a 20% on 5-stars and 30% on 4-stars, it's kind of whatever.

Is it that good? It looked like it was what Rinbutt is to Aerial Drive as it pertains to Xmas 5's free CE. And typically I see Aerial Drive being preferred over Rinbutt.

Yeah, like Rinbutt is Buster/Crit/50% NP charge and Aerial Drive is Buster/NP dmg/50% NP charge and I know which of them sees more use. Not that Rinbutt is a bad CE by any means, it's really good, just AD is more popular.

So on appmedia, when it lists the ticket drops, is that average total tickets or average unique ticket drops? Trying to decide what would be better to farm after buying the CEs, the 90+ or 90.

I already know that in terms of mat drops I'd prefer 90, but if the 90+ still has better unique ticket drops, then that probably makes up for the loss of drop CE.

What's messing it up?

With 2 Castoria she returns 50% from wave 1 which is PERFECT for overcharged S2, however my wave 3 damage is rather low without overcharged s3
like 150k without 3rd character

therefore i need a character who is capable of disposing of the boar, selfcharging at least 40 and either buffing Kiara further or alleviating her 20% NP charge shortage which would allow me to OC S3 and fuck up the third wave like you wouldnt believe

There is exactly one character who meets that criteria albeit in a roundabout way

Honestly, my 90+ strat is just Arash wave 1 (uses non event CE), Kama the boar (event 5-star + newest summer master outfit for the last 10%), and then Nero with double Casturia last wave. I'm sure there are other last wave options, but this is what I'm using!

Could probably use the event 5-star on Arash too as long as I was willing to use Casturia's attack up skill turn 1 (40+30+30). In fact, I should make that change.

this strategy with Kama instead of Kintoki should result in dead 3rd wave by NP alone as long as all debuffs land (2x Kiara and 1x Kama) but oh well

Guess I'll do 90+ until a CE drop, then drop to 90, as appmedia has the average stack being only a 0.2 difference in favor of 90+. Hopefully better mat drops in the next round from 90+.
