Nana's a smooth operator, pleasantly surprised I can't hear Astolfo in her.
Majo No Tobi gonna be my chill anime this season

I'm really glad Yashahime started out by reintroducing the Inuyasha cast, because I had forgotten a whole bunch of them
Admittedly, watching it for the graphic violence and characters going insane was the main draw for me back when I barely understood anything about what anime even was much less that VNs existed and what purpose and differences being an adaption would have on it.
I watched it as a kid so the air of mystery as everyone seemed to be dying over and over again in a loop fascinated my uncultured mind. Even though I had a technical understanding of what was really going on that was pretty much only scratching at the surface of it.
I've never played Higurashi but I've played through Umineko so maybe it'll be a fresh experience to see how the new adaption plays out now and read the VN afterwards.

There's also the fact that the Demon wants to use the tabernacle as a weapon to destroy itself, freeing it and the other from it's suffering and the mystery woman. It was a pretty cool episode.

So Assault Lilies is just a worse RWBY? That's kind of amazing. Like expecting someone to clear the easy first stage of a high jump, but instead they limbo underneath it.
King's Raid is just low rent Besrerk isn't it? Dark Elf Grittith want's the kingdom, hesitant Elf Casca is going to be brutalized, and Guy with Big sword will have his whole world burned down around him.
Well damn Munou na Nana. I called 95% of the plot, from actual powers (though all the watch stuff makes me think MC might be hiding something else) to FemMC's motivation, but I was not expecting that to be how the episode ended. If they keep this up, it could be pretty good
Slime Rancher interested me in how it was going to go, but the fact they revealed it's just another Iskeai halfway through almost killed any interest I had. Then I saw a bunch of catgirls in the ED, so maybe I'll hang around until they show up.
Inuyasha 2: Demonic Bogaloo: Miroku really misses his Wind Tunnel, when all it ever did was get filled with bees. Maybe he's a masochist?
Ok Tonikawa, you look like a heartwarming rom-com, why not?
Journey of Elania looks good so far, really says something about her that she dosn't call out her parents on trying to get her to fail.
Sigfridifa feels like the anime that they were making in the second half of Shirobako. Too bad it's going up against Strike Witches this season.
Haikyuu continues to Haikyuu, Golden continues to Kamui, all is right in the world.

You mean better RWBY. ALB is easily better than what I saw of that show, which admittedly I don't think was that much but comparison's fair because ALB only has a single episode out

A common story, the vast majority of old higurashi fans (including myself) got into higurashi because of the wacky killer lolis, for kids and teens of mid-late 00s the old anime was very entertaining as an edgy splatter anime. "Oh, you think anime is for kids? heh, havent seen higurashi huh?" that kinda stuff. But it really doesnt deserve its place in the same cast as elfen lied and other omg so fucked up anime because rather than torture porn and gorefest, higurashi the VN (much like Umineko) is a mystery but most importantly a MUH FEELS game. Ryukishi said hes very influenced by the 90s KEY stuff. In fact the old anime really turns up the violence compared to the VN. Im not saying thats a no-no, if youre gonna make Higurashi into a visual medium then feel free to make the violence grotesque, but I hope people will walk out of it with more than just "damn those killer lolis were crazy" this time around.
... I only watched Higurashi because it was quite popular at the time and hey is that Ciel?
The manga was p good at being scary, where the anime was disappointing in the horror regard. All the weird spinoff routes after the main series has left it feeling milked to death tho.
BEHOLD! THE SIG OF GOLDEN TRUTH! Pillaged from McJon, Tsukikan et al.

I agree that all the stuff after the original VN is definitely milking, unnecessary and very likely to be of questionable quality, it seems such is the Fate of things that become commercial gold mines.
The plot's seem to be equally bad with RWBY's bad acting balancing out with ALB genericness (The Huge? I honestly laughed when they tried to make it sound threatening) and over the top lesbians. But Rwby had good fights (for the first three seasons at least), so it comes out ahead.

Completely disagree. Also the one fight is better than anything from RWBY, which is honestly worse than most 3DCG anime. Seriously, RWBY's fights only beat absolute disasters like 2010s Berserk
The plot in ALB seems fine enough for me, the girls are enjoyable and it seems like an enjoyable way to spend a season with cute girls fighting way above RWBY. Also I WISH ALB was generic. I need more shows of girls you can ship fighting things like it. Not enough of those shows in my opinion
Also RWBY didn't invent transforming weapons like that. If anything, Nanoha did. Like the first thing to come to mind with the weapon transformation sequence this episode was Bardiche and in general the transformations of the devices in Nanoha

Not quite sure what you mean, but when people say Rwby fights were great they're generally talking about the choreography, which (IMO) is genuinely stand-out. One thing you could say about Monty Oum, he knew how to craft an amazing fight-sequence. The actual CGI and stuff is of course behind most anime, but that's to be expected given it's an amateur production. (The art looks a lot better these days, but unfortunately that's come with the fight-scenes going down in quality now that Monty's gone).

Fights are more than coreography. And I'm not the one who starting comparing this amateur show to a professional production. Or is the comparison OK when it's to shit on a show? Miss me with this attitude I see too much where it seems like shitting on shows, and watching to mock and laugh at a show is what real fans with real taste and standards do
Point is, I didn't find anything I could enjoy in early RWBY , not even the fights. And I didn't go further
In comparison, Assault Lily is something I can enjoy and I'm looking foward to more.

I haven't even seen Assault Lily (though it is on my watchlist as I liked what I saw of the trailer), so I'm just talking about the Rwby side of things. Obviously you're allowed not to like a show, I was just trying to get across why the people who do like Rwby are attracted to it.
I mean, fight choreography literally carried the series in it's beginning. I still maintain that the original color trailers are a phenomenal experience even if the product they lead too is bellow average. That said, you are right, it alone does not make a scene most of the time, and rwby most definitely didn't invent transforming weapons.
