I've gotta say, if some of the lines in this game are meant to be jokes, then Chinese humor is positively bizarre. Childish Jiang on the mountain outside Liyue lives on his own, seems like a mid-functioning person with autism, or possibly disturbed if the notes you find during his third game of hide-and-seek are accurate, and he keeps talking about how he's so good at hide-and-seek that the whole town needed to come looking for him, among other severe misunderstandings, and then, if that wasn't grim enough, then your dialogue options direct you to his parents' tombstones, which he can't understand. And we're playing hide-and-effing-seek with him while he presents the comedy of errors that his life is from his perspective, as profoundly dark as that is from ours. How was this presented as a joke? Seriously, what the hell?

I mean, I'm going to keep playing, since there's more to like about this game than there is to hate about it, but this was pretty twisted.

Most of the characters have a pretty tragic backstory. I think it's meant to be more of a find humour in the dark kind of thing.

I mean, yeah, except that this tale of abject horror is presented as a comedy of errors. It's not like the girl who decided to work at an inn in the middle of nowhere because she somehow determined that an inn where no one stays is the most likely place for her to meet the love of her life across a crowded room, or whatever smut novel cliche she was chasing after (Meanwhile there's a guy literally named Dummy, standing ten feet away looking to find a wife and settle down). That's pathetic, but it's not giggling about a tragedy.

Because of how Jiang spoke about past events. It just seemed to have the tone of a parody when I was reading it. I can't be completely certain that I'm not just misinterpreting it, though.

Okay, I'm excited. I like Noelle and Bennet a lot, but I'm confused as to why they're starting with gacha characters instead of the three characters we get initially. Also, if that's the real voice of Paimon's VA, I wish that she'd just spoken normally more than ever now.

Okay, got to the end of the Liyue storyline, so our next stop is going to be Edo Nippon Inazuma, and then possibly Egypt. Frankly, I'm eager to get out of Latin China, these mountains everywhere have been a special kind of torment. Also, give us the damn Chasm already (EDIT: Oh, the Chasm is 1.5).

i like to build things, so the housing system has been really fun for me and its probably only geting better.

Eula almost here, pity is ready for her and i also have the materials ready to level 80 6/6/6 her.

Just the artifacts are lacking, for now, i'll be runing her with 2 pale/2 blood, high crit rate, low crit damage, bad luck on the headpieces.
