Finished the archon quest and my non spoiler conclusion is Zhongli left his country in the hands of women and furries and that's why he's the wisest archon of them all.

As for spoiler thoughs

Shenhe's backstory is really intriguing, but there's just a tad of something missing, either from her characterization or her design (or both), that doesn't entirely connect to that framework? I'm not sure what it is. Still, I liked her well enough in this quest. Yunjin was great and the opera sequence...brilliant, spectacular, amazing.
My complaint about Liyue used to be that it didn't feel like the characters were part of a community in the same way they did in Mond, which I'm glad to see is no longer a valid complaint in this nor the Moonchase Festival.

Either way a very decent questline with some tiny hints of what's to come.

We never learn the actual question Beidou asked of Ningguang, so one can only imagine...

Yup, and she probably disappeared on purpose for a bit so Shenhe can use up her slot. It's funny to consider that Beidou wouldn't be interested in asking Ningguang anything in the first place considering what we know of their canon relationship, and with shipper googles on she can probably ask her whenever she wants or got compensated a different way~

I think she was getting ready for the thing, instead of giving up the slot, but either way works.

Very like the how they did the preparations in the background (and you could talk with them, foreshadowing the event), while we are looking for materials. It makes the world more alive.
