Well, I guess that's it for I/O. Pretty confusing at points, though the history section at the end confirmed that A' and B' are separate endings and have no continuity between them. Though I don't really get what E' is.

My tears for all the Masada written games that will never be translated. ;w;
What's a Senshinkan?

So, got my hands on the new Cho Dengeki Stryker (all ages version). Anyone else going to try it out?
I read the adult version last month. Ish. The game has a weird idea as to what constitutes a happy ending.
Im thinking of getting the ps3-version of Umineko sometime, rreading it with voices and CGs ought to be terriffic.
So I heard that Grisaia no Kajitsu is apparently amazing. A based friend of mine gifted me the patched version; haven't started it yet due to uni work constraining my free time. Just what kind of thrill ride am I in for, here?
Yuuji is a very entertaining and competent (not to mention hilariously accomplished for his age) protagonist. He's also kind of a troll. The common route can drag on a bit, but it's full of gut-bursting funny moments and hilarious lines. The girls' routes.... prepare for despair, feels, and drama.
Also, the VN has what is possibly the best english translation of a japanese product that I have ever seen. It's amazingly well done.
It's quite good. It keeps a pretty light tone throughout apart from the actual heroine routes which tends to get fairly dark. Yuuji's backstory and profession are intentionally left vague to try to hook you for the sequels, though the basics are pretty obvious. I found that the heroines didn't fall into most of the obvious cliches, or if they did not very hard. Most of the characters were pretty entertaining, though a few are kind of difficult to stand at times. Took me forever to read Makina's route because I just don't like her.
Not the best VN I've read, but probably top ten or so.
At the very least Michiru is hilarious.
My Fanfics. Read 'em. Or not.McJon01: We all know that the real reason Archer would lose to Rider is because the events of his own Holy Grail War left him with a particular weakness toward "older sister" types.
GnK:
-What I was expecting: Titties and ass, probs some crazy dude doing shit in the highschool, some conspiracy theories
-What I got: Titties and ass, possibly the best translation of a VN ever, a god damn insane protagonist who has the funniest fucking internal monologues ever, FEELS, and a bunch of other shit that I won't spoil because you really need to fucking read this.
10/10
I would GnK a 7-8.
the common route was great, but some of the heroines had terrible routes. Michuru was best girl, worst route, amane's route dragged to hell, and makina of all the damn people probably had the best route if you can control skip text your way past the squick parts.
GnK is good. I mean, it has some cool but also fucked up moments.
Yuuji's an efficient protag. The humor is alright as long as it doesn't involve Michuru yelling.
Common + 3/5 routes are worth it even if the pace is all over the place.
The OST isn't that great but some likable themes are in.
Also weird contrasting quality between CGs. (That second artist can draw some weird shit) Sachi hands still haunts me.
I'd say it's worth playing. Common route is enjoyable. Two routes are good. The characters are entertaining. Like most VNs with a significant amount of routes (and multiple writers) there's a lot of hit and miss but it's mostly enjoyable.
It has bad pacing at times but honestly you could say that about any VN with more than one central route. Heck, you could say that about a lot of VNs with one central route. Not reading badly written porn will cut down reading time by... I don't know come to think of it.
Yumiko is nothing like Senjougahara. That'd be like saying, I don't know, Rider and Lutecia (MSLN) are similar characters.
Yuuji can be a bit too LOOK AT HOW ABOVE EVERYTHING I AM IM SUCH A COLD FUCKING BADASS HOLY SHIT but considering that this is a genre of faceless motivationless spineless wimps you can't really use it as criticism.
[04:55] Lianru: i3uster is actuallly quite cute
As a badass with a mysterious past that permanently has cute girls wanting to jump my dick Yuuji is the only character I can actually identify with. Only he really lets me live out my IRL charme and mystique.
