Not sure if cracking, then translating, then recoding it to work on a homebrew PSP is anyone's idea of a good time. PC games are one thing- but even Realta Nua still hasn't been fully incorporated into the FSN patch.

If your looking for one similar to Type-Moon I highly recommend Princess Waltz. It has a similar premise to FSN as well as a little High School for fun.

My first recommendation would be my favorite VN, Umineko. Episodes 1 through 7 are in English, and the patch for the last episode, episode 8, is nearly done. You can buy the game and download the patches here. (Note to Kenta: please do not pop in to try correct me by saying, "It's not a visual novel! It's a sound novel!" It's the same damn thing!)
My only other choice would be the VN version of Clannad. It has a completed English patch, and it's set in high school. Can't think of anything else that's not Type-Moon related, but I hope this helps.

I thought a sound novel was a VN without emphasis on visuals? (ie, filtered-photo BGs, no CGs or sprites, or just shitty sprites like 07th expansion)
