honestly while the story becomes a head scratcher towards the end it had a lot of great moments, especially for Keiichi, Mion and Satoko. Imo it gives the characters better closure than the actual canon ep8. My ideal ep8 would probably be something of a combination of the two, with some personal touches of my own (less scooby doo shit plz)
Majo Koi Nikki was pretty good, better than expected. I think people misuse the utsuge tag on vndb pretty liberally though, the ending was bittersweet but not utsuge tag worthy.

Playing ToHeart 2 gives me a peculiar feeling of familiarity/nostalgia, i remember seeing these characters so much ~15 years ago. Especially Tama-nee, the amount of Tama-nee art was quite respectable.
Flowers 2 is great. How often do you get a smug anime girl make patrick bateman and dark knight rises references? Probably not very often but you get that in flowers 2. Now thats epic.
Copped Aokana EXTRA1, the Mashiro after story fandisc which ENG TL just dropped. Ive been waiting for this!!
In other happy Aokana news, sprite has continued working on EXTRA2, the maybe-cancelled fandisc for Misaki. For context, after the big success of original Aokana, Sprite planned to cash in on that by making fandiscs for the 2 most popular girls, a full length new game titled Aokana Zwei and, yup, you know it, a gacha game (ominous sound effect here please). As the pattern goes, the gacha bombed hard and they went bankrupt in 2019 after only releasing EXTRA1 of the planned 3 VNs. But somehow they seem to have revived and currently spend their days selling dakimakuras and rererererereleases and ports of Aokana. But theyve now officially announced EXTRA2 is in production again. Zwei's status is still unknown though, pray every day.

I see. I think fruitbat factory is worth supporting though, theyre a pretty interesting company that localize some eclectic doujin stuff others wouldn't touch. Noratoto kicked ass too, especially the sequel.
I wish Noratoto wasn't butchered. I know it's not their fault but other companies manage to circumvent Steam for +18 releases
And then there's stuff like that one School Days VN or Baldr Sky where staff release patches anonymously hiding who they really are. Not legit and very problematic, but CAN be done

I didnt feel like i lost anything by not being able to see the eroscenes in Noratoto. Probably wouldve ctrl'd them anyway.
Jiangshi x daoshi ch 3 done. The chapter took me about 3 hours, so it was a little longer than 1-2 that took a little over 2 hours. GOD THIS CHAPTER WAS SO HYPE, THAT FUCKING FINAL BATTLE i almost felt like i was watching a chuuni battle anime rather than reading. The direction is once again Mahoyo tier, and the final battle has so much work poured into it. I cant believe this is a doujin product, the production values are staggering. I guess true doujin spirit can make miracles happen.
As ive stated before, the shitposting game of the author is super spicy. Theres Jojo, Touhou, HxH, theres memeing about SAO fans, theres even that damn picture of the panda vaulting over a table. And the great thing is the memes and gags are not involved in the script at all, theyre quick gags going on in the background so they dont get obnoxious like FGO events for example.
So Jiangshi x Daoshi episode III references a loli pregnancy doujiin artist. NOW that is something I didn't expect. Goddamn, this VN is wild. And the visual storytelling keeps being amazing. And this is a dujin VN itself done by like 4 people. Amazing
And it is done. Not the most innovative story, but that final battle was still so hype. Not the end, though. Episode IV is still not even in Japan, so the wait'll be longer. Worth it, still. And the comedy and background gags were on point as always.

Playing that concurrently with Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines is quite the experience.
For example, I just got the ending where Yuna used her persuasion to get the BOWs on her side, Embraced the entire city, and began a real direct fight with the Hunters... Yeah, I think that I'm quite satisfied with this ending, unless there are others where the 2 vamps directly take the fight to the Hunters and, of course, live to talk about it.
