86 Episode 9:I really did like this episode, the fight with Shin's brother, who wanted this to be a 1 on 1, even ordering the Legion to keep his friends away.

They really did that scene with Lena and Annette justice, too. I think one of my favorite parts was the 5 birds just flying away at the end. They're finally free...

Also, I thought the Dinosauria would be way bigger than that from the way it was described, but it's size compared to the other Legion there makes sense.

I have to question the choice of that flower though.

Isekai Maou S2 done. A shorter season. The studio change meant a downgrade in visuals, but I didn't mind. Show and characters are still as fun as ever and the new cast were also great. Some cool and fun arcs in this season too. Rose best girl

I didn't need to see the depression of the first half of this episode of Zombieland Saga. Birds stealing Kotaro's vest was top-tier shit though.

And from the looks of things, a hurricane kidnapped the idols and their house???

This ep of 86 was all anime original i think, but i absolutely loved it. Especially that part that showed assorted spearhead moments through the footage from fidos POV.

Finally caught up with 95% the seasonal anime that I've fallen behind on for the last month. Wow, Vivy, Zombieland and Mars Red really popped off the minute I stopped paying attention to them. Those CGI soldiers in Mars are a bit of an eyesore though. Megalobox's villain this season is just Justin Hammer from the MCU. Iruma's Evil arc was great. I had thought Spider's CG couldn't get worse, but then they had to go and try a war arc. Hoo boy, that's a hot mess. Joran just keeps getting stupider every week, which is a shame.

All that's left to catch up on is Oddtaxi and 86.

Digimon Adventure Episode 52: A good episode. The other kids finally getting their Megas was long overdue though I was surprised there was no enemy Digimon to fight this week but rather Mother Nature herself but I suppose that's a refreshing change for once. I also did like how they played with Sora's Crest being Love by having her initially go down the wrong path and be overprotective and smothering in her desire to keep Piyomon out of danger. Hououmon was pretty awesome to see and hopefully it'll get a proper fight scene in the future.

Next week though really intrigues me as they are seemingly spacing out the Megas since despite apparently being a Joe episode there isn't a Vikemon segment in the Digimon Spotlight next time. Also what, Kabukimon? Are we getting another Divergent Evolution like what happened with Ponchomon?

Mars Red Episode 10:

Takeuchi wants to make a hang glider, and he wants Kurusu to be the one to fly with it which I thought was pretty cool, I hope they manage to make it. (That made me look up the history of hang gliders and it turns out work on them was being started in like the 1880s.)

I think from the talk that Rufus and Nakajima had about the Code Zero Unit that Rufus is just going along with what Nakajima is saying, he doesn't really care about Japan's future, he's got his own goals. As shown when he kidnapped Shirase and made her lay in the middle of a room with the sun beating down on her in the old Code Zero base with a retractable roof, just to kill Defrott. I didn't expect Maeda to show up at the end, but the words he said worry me that he might not quite all be there.

Final episode of Joran: Conditional compassion can be a strength, but unconditional compassion is always a weakness. You know, with the bare minimum condition being "don't stab me in the back".

I still don't understad the Generals plan. It's stupider than whatever's going on in Joran roght now, but I can buy it there since the villain is super detached from his subjects. But Nakajima's plan so far is basically "We must protect Japan! By killing all it's citizens!". I can already tell he's going to die by being eaten by a vampire, though it won't be the complete poetic version where it's his daughter.

Joran done. What a mess. I still enjoyed it in the end, but the plot and several character motivations are too messy just to have twists. Oh well, still a decent 6/10. Cool fights, at least

So I've been meaning to ask for like two years at this point, but is the OP for Iruma a joke? They have all these action scene that make it look like its a battle anime, but it's super SoL comedy. Or does the manga pull a Negima and have a huge genre shift years in?

Raiden-18 a one shot manga by Hiromu Arakawa was re-released and in the third chapter, Mao Zedong was depicted as an zombie used by a Chinese counterfeiter frankenstein scientist played for jokes. Either way, shit is stirring up in the bilibili and weibo.

He's willing to kill and to have as many citizens as it takes be turned to prove his vampire units work. That's why he's spreading the Ascra, to give them something to fight, at least that's what I think. Does it make sense, no it doesn't.
